Part 2: Therapy. (Part 1 here)

Spending many months in therapy, Hunter has a series of breakthroughs over time: such as being able to face his worst memories without being overwhelmed, coping with crazy levels of survivor's guilt, and asserting a newfound sense of autonomy whenever his inner critic - in the forms of either monster!Belos or possessed Hunter - threatens to overpower him with shame.

One notable breakthrough would have processing the grief over the deaths of the past grimwalkers and what he thought was Belos's love for him. That grief would never entirely go away, but therapy would've helped him integrate it, release a significant fraction of Belos's hold over him (represented here by Hunter finding a small carving knife to cut the blue string, then letting the ocean current take the Golden Guard mask away).

My h/c is that the only way he can even be open to the possibility of carving his own new palisman, making room in his heart for Waffles after what happened to Flapjack, is by reaching this particular breakthrough.

I'll probably reblog this repeatedly over time and add trivia and notes since these ideas definitely have parallels to scenes in the show.

Post-war, Salvage!Zuko converts an imperial class fire nation cutter into a floating platform to give Good Boi giant isodogs a place to sunbathe and get scritches. I personally have never seen it in a movie, but they say that The Aqua Star floating home has been in several, and now it's for sale. 1985 build in Portland, OR, 2bds, 3ba, 2,737 sq ft, $1.35m + $2,060mo. HOA. Also, it comes fully furnished.

So, you couldn't call it a houseboat, it's like a novelty home on a dock in a river- The Columbia River, specifically. It looks brand new, so it's been completely renovated.

Very attractive guest powder room.

Windows all around let in lots of light and provide a panoramic view. Look at the shiny metal ceiling.

The ceiling curves here and features a high window with up-lighting over a bar. Love the little metal wood burning stove in the corner.

It's a wet bar with illuminated shelving. If you don't drink, you could display a collection here.

Open concept main living area is pretty spacious.

Dining area is in its own round space with a door to the deck.

Love the blue cabinets, but the upper half of the kitchen is too white. Nice illuminated shelving.

Round bedroom has sliders to the deck.

Ensuite shower room.

Look at the little half-moon laundry room.

The primary suite is on the upper level. This is nice. I like the sculptural architecture. Love the lighted railing.

It's spacious up here, and kind of resembles a ship.

Looking down at the main floor.

Very nice.

Primary bedroom entrance.

It's smaller than I thought it would be. You can see the tub next to the bed.

There's also a shower with frosted glass windows.

Behind the bed wall there's a mini kitchen and some storage.

The toilet and sink are separate.

Plus a walk-in closet.

There's a roof-top deck for the 2nd level.

The large main deck accommodates sitting and dining areas with room to spare.

Wachowski Family House Fan Layout (Sonic Movie Universe)

Hi 8'D I was writing a Sonic fic and couldn't keep the house layout straight in my head. So I hyperfixated for like 30-40 hours over the course of 3 days and recreated some semblance of the Wachowski family home based on screenshots and watching scenes on Youtube. Repeatedly. 8 |

And since maybe people don't want to do the same, I figured I'd share. X'D Please keep in mind this layout is NOT canon, and no one should use it to try and prove of disprove anything. It's just what I ended up with based on what I could find, and figure out despite the inconsistencies within the movies themselves.

Details all under the cut. And if you want to see the SketchUp model itself I think this link might work. I've never actually tried to share SketchUp models before.

Sorry these files are MASSIVE, but eh, I'm too lazy to break them down smaller at this point.

Exterior:

1st Floor:

This is the only floor I could find scenes for. So everything started from here, and is based on fitting in with this floor. Talking with my sister (aka complaining to her) I found out that the house was most likely renovated before Sonic lived there. That's why they have this random floating closet next to the entrance. It probably has to be there to support the structure after a bunch of the walls were knocked out to convert to a more open floorplan.

2nd Floor:

This floor is entirely made up by me 8'D Feel free to completely redesign it to fit your fancy. Everything is based on window placement, with the master bedroom being at the front because that's the biggest window.

Attic:

This was actually hard to place, because it could be argued that the attic is above the living room area. Especially since there's scenes that have a chimney column going through the attic. But I decided to put it above the kitchen based on that skylight window that Sonic is seen running into (that totally isn't round in that shot, but okay), and because the living room looks to have a high ceiling with nothing above it. Also I could not figure out how to get the attic stairs to work with the 1st to 2nd floor stairs also being on that side of the house.
