No one knew about her last encounter with Bill. Or if they did, no one mentioned it to her face. Flora had heard the whispers behind her back as news broke out about the betrayal. And while she hadn't exactly flaunted her relations with the man, people that paid attention realized just how close the pair of them had gotten while he had been in their ranks. It was a blow to her ego, no doubt, but it barely held a candle to the shame and embarrassment she held at the memory of sleeping with him instead of killing him. It was a memory she was willing to bury a million times over.

But problems with the Lobos and their increasing attacks against them eventually took the forefront of her attention. It had to be if she wanted the Fitzgeralds to survive this war--the last thing she wanted was to watch her family's legacy go up in flames.

As weeks passed, it became one thing after another. An attack here. A raid there. Injuries and losses sprung up like the common cold. But at least they were always able to give back what they got. It was about the only silver lining during these tense times. Getting news that Bill had finally been spotted seemed like a blessing and a curse, though Flora couldn't help but chase after the sighting if it meant gaining back some of her dignity.

With only a few of her trusted men with her, they circled the location they'd been given. It didn't look like the kind of place the Lobos would use, even as a hideout, but she wouldn't claim to know the inner workings of how their group worked. Maybe if she had, they wouldn't be in as big of a mess as they were in. Just as Flora had sent her men to canvas the area, she spotted movement in the darkened alley. Without concern for her immediate safety, she stalked towards the figure, gun in hand. "I knew you were a rat, but I didn't realize you'd be living like one," she said as she approached Bill closer. "Seems almost fitting under the circumstances."

Current favourite Music It has been a while since I was tagged by @melyzard but better late then never. I’m still listening to less music than I used to, but ey slowly getting more again. Specially having really good headphones helps. So here is a list of music I have listend to in the last couple of weeks/months: 1. Florence and the Machine - Dance Fever: The entire album is great and probably my overall favourite FTM album. Cassandra is still my favourite song from the album, but more or less recently I also got fully hit by Morning Elvis. 2. Portishead: I am still working myself through their albums, but for some reason I always thought Beth Gibbons was the singer of Massive Attack and not Portishead. Anyway great music and I had forgotten how much I like trip hop as genre. 3. Speaking of Trip Hop, there is also Faithless. I have mainly listend to Evergreen, because the lyrics: “the quite of winter, birds are calling to me” just is very fitting at the moment. 4. I have to add Leonhard Cohens Avalanche and The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, because I have listend to these songs a lot this year after watching Our Flag Means Death.

5. I was finally able to extend my OC Playlists a bit with ABBA - I am a Marionette, Rüfüs du Sol - On My Knees, the Wombats - Wildfire

6. A while ago I listend to the soundtrack of Need for Speed Underground 2 again. While Riders of the Storm ft. Snoop Dog is the song I will always associate with hours spent tuning my cars and driving around in the rain I want to mention Terror Squad - Lean Back. 

7. Still need to listen to more from Mine. To me she is one of the best german musicians.

8. It is difficult for me to resist good songs about about birds, so Sufjan Stevens - The Lord God Bird about the extinct (?) Ivory Billed Woodpecker makes it onto the list.

9. A music list by me can not be complete without adding some classical music. So lets go with the incredibly depressing, loving and hopeful Requiem for a Friend by Zbigniew Preisner.

10. And because we listend to a lot of “viking” music above the polar circle and there was some playing in the record store I visited yesterday, lets go with with SKÁLD - Rún as an example song. This question always gets me because my music taste is funny. I think some people are keen on curating their music to fit a specific mood or bill, especially in terms of indie artists. but I will say that I am pretty unabashed about loving bad music.

My listening habits have been very conflicting these recent days because I'm pretty sure my current 2 most listened to songs at the moment are Seinaru Toki Eien no Inori by Malice Mizer (the song is nearly 9 minutes long and I enjoy every moment of it) and DANCING LASHA TUMBAI FROM 2007 EUROVISION, What do these songs have in common, you ask? don't even ask me. Don't ask me about it.

i am finding much more interesting stuff happening with the secondary characters - Florence finally moving on her wife life. Jesse and Clara having marital strife. Carson and Faith are so boring but the show is trying (badly I might add) to depict the struggle between ambition and love, especially at a time when gender equality was so pronounced. Love Christopher and Henry. Even Florence and Bill are interesting. But this love triangle just leaves me so cold. I just do not care.

I agree that the love triangle is leaving fans cold. Heck, I’d argue that’s probably a popular opinion right now! I just want it over with. I’d love to just. Not deal with it anymore. 

Florence moving on with Ned, a man she’s known for years, is so nice. I am rooting for them. Jesse and Clara are usually really boring but the show is trying hard to bring interest to the characters. (I just do not see them as a sustainable part of the show’s future right now, but I might talk more about that later if there’s interest.) Carson and Faith is a genuine attempt and honestly I’ve never been so interested in these characters. Usually they’re both boring but finally we get to see them as passionate people!! Christopher is a DELIGHT. What a scumbag. I can’t wait to see more of him. I’m not a fan of Molly and Bill but nobody here is surprised. :P I love that there is an effort being made to bring interest to the side characters more? And that it’s feeling a bit more like an ensemble show than The Elizabeth Show (ft. not enough attention on Elizabeth anyway + a bunch of random boring side plots nobody cares about).
