How funny it is that throughout the entire series I didn't share or sometimes even understand the dislike of many viewers towards Phee and Jin, only to hate them literally in the last minutes of the finale 😁

I liked Phee and Jin's dynamic from the beginning and I liked this relationship more than PheeNon's. Phee, both in the present and in flashbacks, was a great character for me, very much my style, and I also had a lot of sympathy for Jin. I was also convinced that Phee was on his path of revenge/searching for answers, and that Jin didn't upload the video.

I was so confident in my opinions that even when Phee spilled the beans to Jin, I was convinced that he wasn't that stupid and mean and that it was all part of some bigger plan. Likewise, until the end I was convinced that Jin was wrong and he was not the one who leaked this video, also based on Fluke's words (who said to Tee for some reason that he "knows everything, INCLUDING the video").

So when the finale brought confirmation that yes, Phee was a fucking snitch, that he sided with his "friends", and that yes, Jin actually released the video like an absolute piece of shit, all my sympathy evaporated in the blink of an eye. Poof! 🥳

I understand Phee's concerns and his refusal to participate in Tan's plan, but that's not the problem, it's HOW he did it. Phee isn't trying to protect the group AND TAN, who is also his friend ffs! NO! Phee is constantly confrontational, aggressive, escalating violence, doing everything against Tan, treating him like HIS worst enemy. He openly accuses Tan when everyone is agitated and someone has a gun, provoking Tan (Tan, who according to him is a dangerous murderer!) without thinking about what he might do. Phee accuses him, Tan takes control and manages the situation so that Tee confesses what really happened with Non, so , you know, a big deal right? That's what it was all about, right? And what does Phee do? He ends the scene by pointing his gun at Tan. When Tan says "you wanted to know the truth about Non, now you know" how does Phee react? He punches Tan. I'm absolutely surprised and appalled that after 3 years of friendship with Tan, watching the nightmare that is his life, saving him, when it comes to choosing, Phee comes so easily to choose "friends", without offering Tan a single bit of kindness, a kind word, extended hand. As if their friendship, their cause, their shared past, Non, didn't exist, didn't matter.

THE MORE BAD HE FINDS ABOUT THE BOYS, THE MORE HE HELPS THEM AND THE MORE HE IS ON THEIR SIDE. This is something I just cannot understand at all! In addition, Phee shot Tan even though he had a camera stand right next to the gun, used successfully many times in the series! 😆 He could have hit Tan unconscious, he didn't have to kill him!! And, what really pisses me off, he shot Tan in defense of Tee!!! Then he helped Tee and Jin, people who ruined and led to Non's death with their choices and actions. I don't know how much more you can insult his memory!

The ending itself is the final nail in the coffin for Phee and Jin's reputation in my house 😎 As I understand it, the final scenes are their hallucinations. And these hallucinations are nice and normal, they have a nice life, they fulfill their dreams, they have a career, they go to college - everything that Non and Tan don't have. In their hallucination there is no room for reflection, for regret, or for any discomfort. They are selfish even in hallucinations that show their real feelings. They still have the nerve to analyze Tee, the only one on whom the events of this house left any impact. I'm not surprised that Non himself appeared in Phee's hallucination, since Phee didn't find a place for him 😏

Their hallucinations, the earlier ones, are also interesting. As much as I loved Jin's hallucinations, it's telling that even in his guilt, Jin still made everything about himself. HE is the victim in his visions 🤷‍♀️ In the same way, Phee wakes up from his visions because it is he who decides which Non is real and which is not. Which means that Jin, instead of feeling bad for what he did to Non, feels bad for imagining "what if it were me." And Phee's guilt is not deep enough to allow Non to dominate his visions, as it happened with Tee, for example.

So in the end, I'm sad to say that as someone who really liked Phee and Jin, that after the finale - fuck them 😈

God, I can’t believe that you prevented the tragedy of Manhattan by putting little Luke in a box and shipping him off to Germany. Astounding how easy that was. Great commentary on how fucked up USA’s (and, by extent, the god’s) system is.

But now. Without Luke in the place to initiate the rebellion, the situation all the unclaimed demigods were in would have continued for many more years. At some point, someone, perhaps the child of a minor god, would have noticed the unfairness of Olympus and would have became the new target for Kronos. Which raises the question: how would the second Titan war have gone if Luke was not Kronos’s chosen?

Idk, I’m just having thoughts 🤷‍♀️. An AU where Alabaster for example hosts Kronos could be really interesting…

NOW ONTO THE QUESTION : Honestly? I think that the revolt still would have started the relative same- but instead of Luke it would have been Chris starting it. I mean just think about this logically! In the books it was mentioned that Chris was with Luke from basically the very get-go. He remained unclaimed (afaik) for a good chunk of time and was among the oldest Hermes campers. He would have been the next best starting point. Later in canon he did join back up with CHB of course, but the thing is- I doubt that in this AU he would have gone on that labyrinth mission in the first place. He takes Luke's place in this AU- and Luke obviously wouldn't go around doing simple missions. Chances are that just some other, random Halfblood took over Chris' mission and was driven to madness. Otherwise..... I don't think that too much would have changed. Atleast not until TLO. I suppose some changes would have to be made with TTC, since Annabeth wouldn't have had any reason to take the sky from Chirs. That's easily remedied tho by saying that Clarisse was the one being kidnapped for the plan instead. She's also a maiden, Artemis couldn't care less whether it's Annabeth or Clarisse in that regard. Since Clarisse has a crush on Chris she'd have a reason to take the sky- she also has a strong enough will to carry it. I'm sure. From there on it would still go the relative same. Percy probably would still go off to save Clarisse- even if it's just to get Atlas taken care of. Chris would be the one to get possessed by Kronos. TLO will probably change the most though- I still assume that Luke's the Hero of the Great Prophecy for this part- which means that we somehow needs to get A)Luke from Germany to the US and B)Percy to realize that LUKE's the hero. Kronos would probably be revived later than in canon since he doesn't have Luke there. The way Kronos can come back is by a certain amount of demigods swearing loyalty to him, remember? The thing is, without Luke there as the one demigod who swore loyalty first Kronos is missing one more demigod post Ethan. Who would that demigod be? Idk and idc. What matters here is that TLO would turn to being a race against time for both Percy and Kronos. For Kronos, it's finding and getting one more demigod to join him.

For Percy it's finding the Hero of the Great Prophecy. Which is why I think that the plot of TLO would change to Percy and co. trying to find out who the acctual Hero of the Great Prophecy is.

Hestia's involvement here could possibly be pointing Percy into the right direction. Or in this case, sending the our MCs to Germany. From there on we'd probably take some time getting to know german!Luke, since this would be his first appearance. Possibly starting out with Luke being the one providing Percy and Annabeth some aid? They are two minors in a foreign country afterall where they don't understand the language or culture. In that case Luke would props have to be on leave during the plot or something, since he's in the military. Anyway, so plot happens and sooner or later people realize Luke's the Hero of the Great Prophecy. By that time probably would have run out, with Kronos finally getting his last Halfblood and taking over Chris. Enter : The Battle of Manhatten. Hestia and the gods at that point still have their own issues to deal with, so I doubt Hestia would be able to ship them around the world again. And a normal flight would take ages. So Luke decided to do something a little desperate. He throws on his military uniform, tells Annabeth to throw on her Invisibility Cap and keep quiet and follow him and Percy. He gets everyone in the car, drives up to the military basis and basically starts lying through his teeth. He tells the guards that he decided to shorten his break on a short notice, since something else came up in the future which ne needs the leave for more. Percy is Luke's nephwe, and currently doing an internship for the military. He has been assigned his caretaker for the duration of the internship. Luke being considered a prodigy and already being well respected and high up in the military, aswell as some demigod talents get the guards to let them through with an invisible Annabeth trailing after them. Putting his talents as a son of Hermes to use, Luke basically steals a military helicopter- loads both Percy and Annabeth up into it and decides to commit impromptu treason and takes off. One short prayer to Hermes later, and the trio find themselves miraculously back in Manhatten. From then on more plot happens, Luke manages to get into the fight and from there on it pretty much goes as canon again. Chris/Kronos being defeated in this could possibly come from Luke figuring out Chris' Achilles Heel by analyzing how he fights, and going for it. Getting stabbed by Kronos' scythe in the process and thus dying. Short note tho, since Luke had to throw on his uniform to steal the helicopter this means that Luke's pulling up to Manhatten wearing one of those two drips.

(Head covering and badges vary, since those are diffrent ranks than what I imagine Luke to be)

ALTERNATIVLEY

In an AU where Luke ISN'T the Hero of the Great Prophecy, I think it would honestly just switch to Percy. 'cause well.... who else? The plot would props go as everyone would have expected it to go, with Percy dying at age 16 probably also to Kronos' scythe. In that case Luke props wouldn't even rly have noticed anything going down in Manhatten.

hello again anon! yay boston!! absolutely one of my favorite cities. i am home now and even though i love home i am missing it already. just a lovely place to spend a lovely long weekend with lovely friends (whom i also miss already 😭😭😭). i am, i'm sorry to tell you, anti-boston sports (me being an east coaster NOT from boston, i feel like this shouldn't be a surprise), but y'all do always seem have a handful of players i love anyway, and even i must admit fenway is one of the most fun ballparks i've ever been to. the bruins sadly were not in town, but we went to the bc vs. denver game on saturday, and on sunday we schlepped out to worcester for a railers game, and both of those were very fun 💞

but onto the more important topic: our beloved rat boy. a concept related to your original ask i am currently mulling over is one where they are Totally Just Frenemies Who Occasionally Sleep Together (they used to be rivals who occasionally slept together but leon is not going to call anyone who plays in florida a "rival") which means that matthew can fuck whoever he wants. and does. and tells leon all about it while they hook up, and for some reason comes out of these hookups looking like leon tried to eat him alive. perhaps he will need to invest in a tshirt that he hasn't mutilated so that he can talk to the media in the days afterward without showing off all the teeth-shaped bruises he seems to have acquired. surely this all means nothing. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Hello, February! The wait is over! 😁 Because here’s the final "Part 5" of my “PC Screen Upgrades Review” (featuring my paper dolls). So, without further ado, let’s get started:

• In the final part, you could see my computer desk overhauled, with the exception my desktop tower. The monitor and the extension sockets were changed to a different brand (Pensonic and Cherry Home). 🖥️🔌⚡And do you remember from my "Part 4" when the old AOC monitor had a spark sound by the time I turned on my custom PC? Well, it's dead. I wish I could fix it, but I don't have the tools to detect the old monitor's problem. 😞 As a result, my HDMI to VGA converter is now useless... 😥 Damn, I wasted my ₱250 fund. But it's okay, I could sell it at the same price, anyway. 🤷‍♀️ Nevertheless, after a long day of troubleshooting and tips on how our PC works, I turned on my PC by pressing a single power button, and my PC was brought back to life by a blinking red light! 😃 Now I turned on my new monitor to see if it works, and it does! My installation was a success! And man, I missed you so much, custom PC! It's been 7 months of being inactive and now you're alive! 🖥️😄 Then, I had to check the interior of my PC by removing the cover, and you could see they all functioning in all light up from the new PC power supply to the new GPU card! Uh yeah, I've also mentioned that our telephone and router were changed, with the latter changed from a four-antenna router to a two-antenna router which is a downgrade for our family. 😒 However, my new monitor's position was too low causing my head to tilt down and it was uncomfortable to view. So, 5 days later, my parents decided to add some floor tiles as an improvised stand booster of sorts, and I put two LEGO blocks on each leg for a little angle to make it a proper view 🧱➡️🖥️, since my 22-inch TV monitor (from Pensonic) wasn't designed for angle screen adjustment, unlike the actual computer monitors. You noticed I removed two universal adapter switches, but I'll re-attach these, soon. 🔌⚡ Another thing was my RGB LED light bulb was replaced with a white LED light bulb because my RGB light was dead, since September of 2023. But, I've bought a better one, so I'll reveal it, coming soon. Nevertheless, the 22-inch TV monitor includes a TV remote which is more convenient than pressing buttons at the back (any sides) of the monitor/television. Okay so, it's not NEW-NEW or as in literally "Brand New", but rather my big brother gave it to me. Plus, my dad won the prize from a raffle. So, congrats Dad. 👨🖥️🥳 So, what's the culprit of being unable to turn on my custom PC? 🤔 Well, the "DDR4 RAM Memory sticks" that will soon be decommissioned, after a long years of usage. 😮 However, these two RAMS we're functioned as usual with only my elbow grease and a luck. It looks like I'll invest in brand-new RAM memory sticks when these old RAM ones finally giving out, someday. 💵

• Here are some of the photos that I took, and I'm happy to report that my PC is still working after this moment. 🖥️🖱️😁 There are a few things that I want to address, as of February 2024. Like the 22-inch TV monitor had a few dead pixel lines when I view in black/dark mode, and the BIOS intro screen was skipped when I turned on the TV monitor first then the PC. The latter will work it out, soon after I browse and watch the tutorials via the web. 🌐🤔 But hey, on the bright side, my paper dolls we're happy to see my PC finally come back to life and they seem to be enjoying themselves from the gorgeous lights from the interior. 😄💡🖥️ Plus, they liked the new look, and with the 22-inch screen they could enjoy watching videos, or heck maybe re-visiting their "Chowder" episodes in 1080p High-Definition! Right, you two? Hehe 😁 Yes, I forgot to mention, that this TV monitor handles 1080p in a standard 60Hz rather than higher 120 or 160Hz.😅 Yeah, I'm okay with that. 😊👍

IMPORTANT NOTE: Pls, don't mind about that 1.5 litre coke. Its a improvised mouse trap. So, please don't mind that. ☝️😮

Final Overall:

• I'm so very happy to see my custom PC has risen like a Phoenix thanks to my two new PC parts that we've installed and some of my elbow grease 🖥️🔧, except my HDMI to VGA converter. And you know, there was a VGA port built-in at the back of the 22-inch TV monitor, though. Then I thought to myself, Nah... I would rather use an HDMI cable that we're lying around and use it instead of the VGA + converter combined. After all, the HDMI cable/port had already a superior approach when it comes to quality screen over the old-style VGA cable/port. Aside from the BIOS problem, as I said in my video, this isn't my final PC desktop look because there are some things or parts that I want to replace, like my two DDR4 RAM Memory Sticks (currently: PROVISION DDR4 8GB RAM (2x4GB) with 2133Mhz speed) will soon be decommissioned, and the entire PC desktop case which has to be replaced for a newer design look. But for now, "Functional" is important to me over appearance, and soon I'll take care of the latter. 😊🖥️ But right now, I'm enjoying reuniting my custom PC with blazing reading speeds from an NVMe card, and a serious GPU Card limit. More PC parts will be installed soon. 😉

this is a stupid question but i've been wanting to get one of those traditional croatian tattoos on one of my arms for years even if i'm not croatian nor a christian. on my other arm i want a traditional romanian embroidery pattern (bc i'm actually romanian). what's holding me back is that i don't wanna offend anyone since i'm not from one of the east euro countries that practiced that tradition (afaik we've never had that here). anyways do you think it'd be a bad idea or not lmao

good question bc ive been contemplating the same thing for years fjdjdj. so

tattooing is something we had in the region; the dacians used to tattoo, including their faces, and so did the thracians, who the dacians may or may not come from. so its not a foreign practice to us by any means - i think you can definitely get tatoos of romanian motifs without it being any sort of problem, its something ive wanted to do too for a long time. as far as those croatian tattoos go, from what ive been able to find online, they werent practiced exclusively among catholic and croatian women, rather they were more widespread around the people of croatia/bosnia/yugoslavia etc. its unclear from what i can find if the origin is celtic or slavic, but either way, both of those cultures have certainly had an impact on ours as well historically.

among christian balkan, in this case particularly croatian, women these tattoos, and their survival in practice, was directly related to trying to keep the ottomans from kidnapping women and girls and forcibly converting them to islam - something which was a struggle in romania as well; this is why some of the tattoos have christian symbols, to remind the girls and women of their faith. and i do think its important to read up on this history and part of it, even though this wasnt their only and sole use and presence, and to take it into consideration. from what i gather, for many croatian women there tattoos are a point of pride, but also come from a painful history.

now. ive said before lol that i dont think cultural appropriation exists in the balkans and i think its kind of stupid for it to. in this particular context too, there is no power dynamic, as far as i know from history romania and croatia havent had a history of conflicts, in fact we have a history of pacts.;;; in the balkans we have all throughout history migrated, mixed, intermarriage, adopted each others cultures, traditions, religions, practices, etc. weve been doing this for thousands of years. personally, i think this is one of the beautiful things about the balkans; and im a pan-balkanist so im all about trying to get everyone in the balkans together and getting rid of the idea that were all separate neat little distinct ppl; we have a lot more in common than we have in difference. the idea of pure cultures or clear cut cultures around here is just unrealistic, its not based in history, and also, talking abt cultural appropriation in the balkans just sounds like woke nationalism

im not croatian neither catholic so, u know, my opinion only goes so far but. i reckon if it comes from a place of respect and understanding its not that big of an issue - hell you can probably go to croatia and get them done. if you live in romania i severly doubt anyone will give a shit, if you live in the west i severly doubt anyone will give a shit bc the westerners tend to know next to nothing about our cultures and they rarely can tell us apart anyway. i dont think its a particularly bad idea 🤷‍♀️

[ ✨ ] what aesthetics or symbols do you reference when writing your muse? are these backed up by canon, if your muse comes from a canon? is there any specific relevance to these choices?

Angels. The search for divinity. I studied in a catholic school for 9 years (it was gonna be 12 but convinced my parents to release from the tortuous place on time), so while I was done with the whole religion thing, the aesthetics have always been top notch for me if done correctly; add that to me going heavy on spirituality and making my own research of things and voilà you got a cool divinity corruption aesthetic kind of thing.

I always had this idea for a character that seemed perfect all through and through but with inner demons big enough to stain that reputation. I didn’t know how to play this without creating a Mary Sue type of character that was plainly annoying or made me accidentally condescending to other people’s characters. I found that answer in angels; creatures that everybody think are so good and pure, but they can be merciless and cruel. I originally had this idea of Sky being an angel kicked out from Heaven because he either wronged him or was not useful anymore; God potentially being the Overseer or so. Then came the idea of writing Sky as a fallen angel that did not remember he was one and still desired to go back to his creator. This whole narrative has been shifting with the plots and interactions, specially since Sky is a brand new muse that hasn’t solidified entirely just yet.

There is also the idea of him being a creature set free in a world he doesn’t know, in a world that might devour him whole. He was created to fulfill a mission and now that the mission is either done or frozen, he has had to learn how to LIVE. Still, the feelings of uncertainty have pushed him into the vice of power. And no, it is not about money or even social status; he recognizes power through the defeat of others in a poker game, the mastery of an instrument ( or several! ), knowing people’s secrets and charming the crowds.

At some point I have also used the terms “puppeteer” and “doll”, usually referring to the Overseer, himself and other people. He is a doll that has attached strings to smaller dolls to feel like the puppeteer sometimes. There is of course the theme of flowers and fairy tales in the Sky x Hansa threads and here again, he is not the one wearing the crown but reaching out to someone who does. Can you tell there is a constant of self-worthlessness through all the themes? Always at the front line, always ready to be of service, but never one to have some kind of actual importance in anybody’s life. In Sky’s and Hansa’s latest thread, she told her he would fight for her and that she would save him in return. This was a huge deal with him because he is very used to give and give and give to the point that he considers it his job and responsibility, than hearing someone say that they would look out for him, almost brought him to tears. In the world of the rich is eat or get eaten and showing any kind of vulnerability is not allowed; so him being able to be weak for once is something that is very much needed and appreciated. Having someone to care for him is important because even if Sky is all smiles and perfection and magnificence, truth is he feels next to dispensable and worthless. I should still remind that there is no more dangerous creature, than the one that has been cornered and Sky will not hesitate to retaliate against someone that has been pushing too far.

Always very polite and nice to everyone, although he tends to tease friends and lovers in a more mischievous way. He will to a stranger’s rambling with attention, but without actual interest; while with people close to him he will almost insert himself in their problem to try and help even if he ends up intruding more than he should. With lovers he tends to be very physical, always trying to touch them somehow in soft possessiveness. Sky will never be giving flowers that mean romance to friends, strangers or the occasional hook up; but lovers should expect a spring parade every week.

[ 😍 ] does your muse believe in true love? why or why not?

Big yes! Although Sky’s understanding of love comes closer to what he reads in books and poetry than what a relationship must be in real life. He lets hid ideals get in the way easily; Sky is the kind of person that could get disappointed if the reality does not match his daydreaming ( cough Libra Sun, Pisces Moon and Pisces Venus cough ). Still, he won’t hold it against his partner if he gets disappointed, Sky is aware of how he tends to go overboard in romance so he will definitely dial it down a ton — even get a bit sulky sometimes, but get sure to ask his partner about their limits so he doesn’t cross the line next time.

Ok, but also this is kinda right? Like we malec shippers, has accepted that Alec doesn't wanna be immortal and although he and Rafe are gonna die one day, at least Magnus and Max won't be alone. But it's really annoying that every rule of the TSC world can change when it comes to certain characters (like Tessa being the only warlock without a mark that can have children, or Simon becoming human again) but not for malec. Like, the immortality issue got solved completely for Sizzy, although Simon should've died when he gave up his immortality, but Asmodeus easily made him alive again, when he couldn't do the same thing for Magnus? What was the difference? Simon should've been a corpse too, but it easily got fixed where as it couldn't be fixed for Magnus.

And also Tessa doesn't have a warlock mark making her inhuman (and causing her problem like the others!) and can have children, while warlocks shouldn't be able to do that (the whole reason why Warlocks can't bear children is that they're the offspring of humans and demons who are basically two different species, and therefore it makes them hybrids incapable of bearing children. It's a biology fact! It isn't sth made up, so I don't see how the offspring of a Shadowhunter and a demon who are also from two different species can bear children. When in biology, if you can have a living child, capable of bearing children, with another being, it shows YOU'RE BOTH FROM THE SAME SPECIES!! I know it's fantasy but it's not fair that it applies to all warlocks except one for no obvious reasons!)

So what I'm saying is that, basically malec immortality problem can be solved too, but it seems that it's not going to. Alec wouldn't want to become immortal, because he has a parabatai and they should die together, and Magnus can't become mortal without dying (even though the same problem got solved for Simon) and he WOULDN'T now, anyways, because that would mean Max will have no one for him.

Pufffff this is not me hating on any character or CC, I'm just nagging because I remembered immortality angst again today. My words are true though :(

I lowkey disagree with your points about Tessa, cause her entire existence and the point of her character is to break all the rules of the shadow world. And I feel like it's important is remember that her father isn't just an ordinary demon but a fallen angel. That coupled with her mother's angelic heritage could be why she can have children. We already know that warlocks born to fallen angels show some exceptions - like how Magnus can light up a witchlight while other warlocks can't. As a biology student, I agree with your points about warlocks being a hybrid species ofc. This is just me speculating. Also, I don't think a warlock mark makes someone inhuman :)

And as for Simon and Magnus... afaik, Magnus has lived long beyond a normal human lifespan, which could be why he wouldn't be able to turn mortal without dying. Simon however is only 17, so he'd be fine. I honestly don't know enough about necromancy to know if Magnus could be revived or not :/ cause if his immortality is gone he'd be a 400 year old dead mortal. And just thinking of this is melting my brain sksksksk

Also, just remember that Tessa has it the same, if not worse as Magnus. She's immortal, and she has to live through losing a husband and her children twice. And unlike Magnus, she doesn't have an immortal child to keep her company either. 🤷‍♀️

So I guess I've been thinking about fertility a lot lately. I've been thinking about my health a lot--of course, even before I spent two weeks laid out on the couch, exhausted and coughing up colors I've never coughed up before.

While I've just been laying here thinking about how my apartment is going to hell, I've also been thinking about how critical it's going to be to get even more serious about trying to eat better and exercise even more.

I was actually just watching a video about a young woman living with her husband--so young!--in Hong Kong, going through IVF. Seriously, at an estimate, if I'd been that serious at her age........... well..........I still wouldn't have had insurance of any sort. But it would've given me more time to think about how to address my diet and lifestyle.

For me, I guess I don't get too upset about my health, let alone my fertility. There only seems to be one thing seriously preventing me from starting my family, and losing weight can't be that hard--more exercise, better food. It's my problem if getting my blood pressure under control takes two years............ most likely? But for me, my doctor's see nothing wrong with my reproductive system--I don't have cysts, I have a very average uterus, very average ovaries. I'm just not producing regular, normal hormones. I'm just a pill away from artificially switching all that back on and most likely, getting where I want to be reproductively. It would be so easy. It would fuck up my blood pressure. So. Bad.

But what about these last two weeks?

I don't fucking know what I was sick with--I went down the stairs today to help my partner with garbage and that was it from me today. I was still having trouble just functioning around the apartment, with dishes and such. I'm utterly trashed. I've never gotten sick casually. It somehow always becomes a respiratory thing. Cold? Respiratory. Flu? Respiratory. Strep? Respiratory.

I meant to do some more ink today. I feel like I'm running up short on lineworks...... But I never seem to have much to work with. I always have to plan for really hot weather or I have to plan for a migraine--I've been fending one off since Friday, since I just didn't have the energy. It resulted in two evenings of this new disturbance that I get, zigzags around my pupil.

I was thinking about that all these last two weeks. I never seem to have much energy, everything comes back to a respiratory infection. As a person without much energy, I feel like I'm always storing energy for when I'll really, urgently need it--how long am I going to need to recover from this?

I ate basically nothing for two weeks; I still can't eat a whole lot and I'll probably be on that for a while. My weight is still going to skyrocket.............🙄

What is it really actually going to take to lose weight and get my blood pressure down? I'd almost rather have a "real" fertility concern.........

I don't feel discouraged right now, about my fertility. I have bigger issues to work on if I want to have a reasonably healthy pregnancy. I'm terrified of having to pull the plug because pregnancy is going to kill me. I'd rather have one healthy, successful pregnancy when I'm 35+ than two hard, scary pregnancies by the time I'm 35. In that regard, it is kind of hard because it feels like my heart health is all on me..........I don't know how much better I can reasonably eat. So we throw out the crackers and I eat even more vegetables. I don't realistically know how many salads I can imagine up. If we eliminate any more fast food...... well, 🤷‍♀️ we had a short burst there where we were eating so much, it felt like a chore, and I've honestly been asking to eat even more meals from home so.

We just...........I mean, I would say soda is really the devil in our kitchen. Yes, I eat proportionally lot of crackers--they're quick, easy, they don't upset my stomach. We don't eat a ton of frozen pizza, fish sticks--we love fish, or I do. I bake up fish all the time. For me, manufactured cookies just sit around, they're gross. We eat a lot of chicken. We could always use more veggies........ But yeah, without question, our soda is out of control. Although, I've swapped my sugary soda for water (except recently?? I let my partner do the grocery shopping and he left out my water???? 😭).

My own thing used to be candy, but I have a brand new bag of jelly beans from last year because I'm still struggling to get through this bag of chocolate. I really (usually) enjoy the fruit bowls from the grocery store.

I think my diet is....... reasonable. It's modern as in "I grew up eating out of food pantries and neither of my parents knew how to cook and I'm used to eating out of Aldi with five to twenty dollars for a week". A lot of chicken, there used to be more rice. We don't eat much burgers....... if the doctor is saying cut down on potatoes........... that can be done........... I think.......

It's really fine. I need to figure this the fuck out. I will fucking figure this out. I want to be a parent because I believe I can be a good role model. I want to be a better person and a better parent. I really ought to start with what goes in my own body.
