Okay let's try this again, third time's a charm.

Weekly Goals:

12 minute workout daily: Monday is legs, Wednesday is arms, Friday is core. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are cardio. Sunday is yoga.

Stretch after working out.

Drink at least one bottle (32oz) of water.

Shower and brush teeth.

Read before sleep.

Haven't kept my goals these past few weeks, so I'm gonna keep 12 minute workouts and 32oz of water as my goals until I hit them for a whole week. "Health goals" are the ones on my Samsung Watch: steps, active calories, and active minutes. I'm gonna try to hit all of those this week too. As usual, I'll try to keep yall updated though it's easier to do that when I accomplish something than when I fuckup and fail. So yeah. See yall later ✌🏻

I was two feet away from Worm and didn't demand answers from him regarding MCR5, so I think I deserve a goddamn medal for my restraint.

I made friends at the barricade once again and it was great.

I didn't babble incoherently when I met TBS again. In fact I wasnt even nervous! I was just like hey, come to Madison FFS, stop making me drive 5 hours!!

But honestly I'd do it again. And again and again. Taking Back Sunday puts on such an amazing show and it's just fun! Like I came out grinning because I had so much fun!

I got two pieces of merch in addition to my VIP merch. VIP merch included a water bottle, which is always appreciated by me!

I really don't know when I'm gonna fall asleep tonight. I'm wide awake and sorta hungry. I guess I could go to the lobby and get a snack, but it's probably best if I don't. It would just keep me up.

I really do like this hotel a lot. It's very nice. I do sorta like splurging on hotels because it's like, I dunno. I just like it. I also love having giant beds to myself and building a fort of pillows around myself.

I'm still not sure which way I'm gonna go home tomorrow. I hate knowing there is construction because it's like I wanna take the faster route, but it won't actually be faster probably. Plus I gotta factor in storms and whatnot. The weather wasn't too bad driving up here, some rain, sorta heavy at some points, but nothing too difficult. I am really glad I finally got new windshield wipers today though.

Goddamn it why didn't I pack more snacks?!

Thinking of food reminds me I don't have any plans for dinner this week. I gotta figure that out so I can grocery shop. I also need a card for Kyle's aunt's wedding next weekend. And to figure out a gift. It feels weird giving a gift to adults older than yourself who are more financially well off and established. Like ???

My throat feels scratchy from screaming along to all those lyrics. Seeing Keep Going performed live was so cathartic, you wouldn't believe it.

I think I'm running out of random thoughts. Ok I'll wrap it up here then. ✌🏻

You are sat on your sofa, just lounging. Before you hear a knock at the door. You sigh as you can’t be bothered to go see who it is but you manage to roll yourself off the sofa and walk to the door. Before opening the door you take a deep breathe since you have trouble speaking to people, socially. You open the door and mason is stood there with his arms folded and a big smile on his face. “Mason” y/n says as your head is tilted with confusion. “I needed company” mason says with a sweet and charmimg smile while looking into your eyes. After mason said that, a smile immediately grows on your face. “Aww. come in, you” you say before opening the door wider for mason to come inside.

Mason enters your house and has a look around “you got a lovely place, you know that y/n?” Mason says while glancing down at you. “Well thank you mason” you reply with a smirk, followed by you patting masons arm, he smiles at you. “Would you like a drink?” Y/n asks mason, waiting for a response. “Just a water please” he replies and y/n follows that response with a laugh “you’re a basic bitch then. I see, I see” y/n says teasingly making mason laugh at you. Mason follows behind you, into the kitchen. You pass him a bottle of water and then grab one for yourself. “So. since you bombarded my chill time, what would you like to do?” You say as Mason laughs and then raises his eyebrows “bombarded aye?” He says and dramatically gasps, followed with a laugh “maybe we could watch a film together” he says while looking down at you again. “Sure, come on then” y/n says with a smile before leading the way to the sofa, before you could blink, mason gently barges past you “race ya!” He says with a confident laugh while running. Y/n roll’s her eyes at you before chasing behind you “get back here, you little shit!” You shout, causing masons laugh to grow even bigger. But something about that laugh makes you feel so fuzzy inside, are you falling in love? Who knows.

After you chased behind mason to the sofa, you finally catch up to him. “You cheated, you didn’t even count down” y/n manages to say while puffing out of breath with your hands leaning against your knees. “Oh shush. even if I did count down, you would still lose” mason says flirtatiously while nudging you gently, causing you to smile quite a lot and your cheeks to turn pink. You gently slap his arm in response to the nudge and mason just laughs loudly while rubbing his arm sarcastically, pretending that it hurt. You roll your eyes with a smile as you watch mason get comfortable on the sofa while y/n gets a blanket for you both and some popcorn too. Y/n comes back with the bowl of popcorn in her hand and the blanket wrapped around her spare arm. “You look like my slave” mason says with a smirk before letting out a little laugh as y/n gasps at what you said “you cheeky shit” y/n says before sitting down next to mason. He already picked the film, a romance one. Of course, when does mason ever not want to watch a romance film? Never.

You and mason are now watching the film, mason has managed to get close enough to you that he is basically sitting on your lap, but you don’t complain about it one bit. Mason tilts his head your direction, giving the hint that he wants to cuddle. You smile widely before getting into a complete new position that mason would be comfortable in.. you lay down on the sofa and he lays in between your legs, with his head rested on your stomach gently. “Comfy?” Y/n asks, making sure he is but as you ask you can already see a huge smile on his face. He nods to your question and continues to watch the film again. Without thinking, you start to play with masons hair, it was very fluffy and soft, so basically perfect. You also use your nails which causes masons eyes to get heavy, you catch him almost falling asleep and you let out a quiet laugh at him. He has his hands on either side of you very gently and there is just silence between you both with the film playing In the background.. but in this moment, y/n realises that she has fallen in love with this pretty brunette that is in her arms. Her heart beats that little bit faster around him and her smile grows that little bit bigger too. You are just laying here, trying to keep as still as possible so that you don’t wake mason up.

After a few hours, you are still laying on the sofa with mason still asleep. You think to yourself how a human can sleep so long, but just as you thought that, Mason slowly starts waking up. “Nice of you to finally wake up, sleepyhead” y/n says with a smile as you stroke his head gently with your nails, causing mason to smile and hide his face into your stomach. When mason first wakes up he isn’t very talkative because he has to wake up fully before he can be bothered to even say hi, he is like a baby but it’s so adorable for y/n. Masons hands has also been in the same place since he’s fallen asleep, he hasn’t been able to let go of y/n’s perfect body all day. You love his touch, it makes you feel safe and warm inside. I’m sure mason feels the same when you touch him too. “You are going to be my new pillow from now on! You are so comfy” mason says sweetly, his voice still sounding sleepy and raspy but also very charming. “Well you can be my blanket then” you reply, matching the energy. Making mason laugh into your stomach. You poke his side gently making him move slightly and laugh even more “blankets aren’t supposed to move though” you say as you are poking him. he holds your hands while giggling so that you can’t touch him anymore and he smiles, making them dimples show. You smile and gently pinch his little dimples making his face turn bright pink.

What’s your kind favourite grilled cheese? (I’m talking bread, cheese and fillings)

Okay let’s talks facts here: if you put anything other than cheese on a grilled cheese, it becomes a melt, it is no longer a grilled cheese.

THAT BEING SAID: you get some onions, put some butter in a small sauce pan, and caramelize them. You want them to almost look like a paste that you can spread on the bread itself. This works with most any cheese, too, so don’t worry, but if you want specifics I’ll do this with leftover mozzarella slices or Swiss if I have them, usually some Colby jack bc that’s what I have on hand. So take those out of the pan, put a little more butter in, add some sliced mushroom. I’m talking portabellas, but again, whatever mushroom you want, and cook those down until they’re brown, and usually I put a teaspoon of minced garlic in there as they cook. Once those are cooked down, you assemble. Butter your bread, put a slice or two of cheese down, add some of the onions and the mushrooms and set on the pan. Top that with more cheese and the other slice of buttered bread. HERE’S THE TRICK TO MELTY GOODNESS!!! However you want to do it is fine, I have a little travel spray bottle I put water in. Spritz the water around the sandwich and cover with a lid. The steam gets trapped and helps melt the cheese around everything and do it again when you flip it. It is so savory and delicious like the salt and pepper I put in the onions and mushrooms when they cook and then the cheeessseee. The bread honestly doesn’t matter, I’m a whole wheat girl myself, but I used whatever is available and on sale most times.

I’m also a slut for a good patty melt and a ham and cheese melt ✌🏻

Monday:

Today was a good day, surprisingly. I didn't work today and I didn't have to be at school (I still went but only to get some papers). Being home most of the day gave me a chance to get some laundry done and get my workout in before I got too tired. I did a 15 minute arms workout, and stretched. I drank just over a bottle and a half of water, about 48oz. Showered and brushed my teeth, cleaned my face (which I haven't been doing). Reading before bed. Didn't get my steps in today but I only ate 1145 cal and burned 150ish cal. I'm expecting to see a bit of weight gain tomorrow but that's only because I actually drank a protein shake today and did arms so muscle building. Today was nice. Goodnight yall ✌🏻

I did it. I was really gonna binge again it’s been over 72 hours fasting. All I’ve had this year is 1 white monster (10) cal and 1 Lipton tea (0). Once I hit 72 hours I just wanted to binge so bad. There’s just so much food in the house rn. Velveeta cheese is literally my down fall and there’s almost a whole block in the fridge🤦‍♀️. I started to make excuses in my head why I should eat and started stressing. I knew I just had to keep going. I distracted myself with a long hot shower and I feel better now. Ok so Friday Cure Insurance Arena was supposed to be a causal stress free day BUT as it turned out it wasn't, everything was rushed, everyone had to work late and it took us over two hours to get there. 

Even after all of that though we still managed to get there on time and had a really decent spot a few people back from the barrier. 

At about the end of Mastodon’s set I started feeling dizzy and my legs started cramping.

Smart people would know that these are the symptoms of dehydration. Dumb people would go an entire day to night not drinking or eating anything.

Walking away from the stage, having to leave my spot and possibly miss my favorite band because I didn’t take care to my body that day WOW how fuking STUPID.

Anyway...Crumpled up on the floor in front of the concession stand surrounded by my empty water bottles, I realized Ghost hadn't gone on yet. They were running late. 

Things were looking up, I started to feel better and figured maybe I could make my way back, I wouldn't get the spot I had but I wouldn't miss the ritual. 

Just as I was walking through the entry way, climbing down the stairs BOOM Kaisarion but there was no way to get back to the GA section from where I was, it was sectioned off.

The security guard must have thought I looked like seven layers of shit because he just waved his hand and gestured for me to sit down. So, I did 🤷🏻‍♀️

And there he is!! The back of his big beautiful bald head, the security guard who saved me 🥰🙏. Watching Ghost from this angle was a whole ass new experience, I’ve only been in seating once for Ghost and that was a theater so everything here was BIG and right up in my face, the smoke, explosions, the beautiful lighting.

I didn't get to see Papa as much as I would have liked and most of the Ghouls came over at some point BUT Swiss HOLY MOLY!! front and center. At times it was difficult to watch anything else BUT him, he was non stop glorious action. 

So there you have it Gutter’s New Jersey Ghost adventure. It might not have been my lucky 13th ritual but in the end it all turned out pretty great. 

And whats the moral of the story kids? Take care of yourself and STAY HYDRATED ✌🏻💜👻
