#forced or have age differences.
Hello! Just curious, what is your fav HP canon/fanon ship?
Related question but who do you picture Snape & Tonks with? Or do you prefer them to be single?? I always like to picture Snape finding a wonderful woman and marrying her. Not sure if I prefer Snape having a baby girl or a baby boy but either would be so heartwarming 😍.
People seem to like Severitus a lot (Snape being Harry adopted or bio dad I think). I have read a few fics I liked where Snape becomes Harry's guardian and they grow to care for each other. But I don't know...I prefer Snape having his own kid vs raising the kid who symbolizes everything that went wrong with his life.
Hello, I hope you are well, I like that you ask me questions.
My favorite couples in the canon? mmmm the truth is that I almost don't like canon couples, now fanon couples? mmm maybe Snirius and Snily but I don't usually read a lot of them in fanfics but I really like the drawings, except for occasional tastes I don't focus much on those 2 couples.
Regarding Tonks and Severus, the truth is that I adapt to both of them, whether they are single or find someone better, I am versatile in that aspect.
There are good Severitus fanfics, I admit it, but I also don't like the idea of Severus raising a child from the worst friend I've ever read in books (Lily Evans), I agree with you, I prefer Severus to have his own children and not take care of other people's children.

Knuckles Wachowski who grew up with people chasing him, the last echidna, to use as a weapon or enjoy as an oddity, hearing stories of the savage, greedy echidnas who were vanquished by the noble, wise owls (echidnas who may or may not have even been real!) and this is all out in the open; common knowledge around the galaxy: Knuckles. Last echidna (that possibly fictitious species from the villains.wiki page). "Most Dangerous Warrior in the Galaxy" -- a title earned via involuntary participation in the Casino World coliseums.
And then he comes to earth where nobody knows any of these things about him or his people and he's not gonna tell them because why invite more of that into his life (also, he asked, and his trauma said he can’t show any weakness Or Else).
Only one who knows anything (and thus has context for some of Knuckles' more bizarre behavior and hang-ups)? Tails. Who is eight.

I wanted to say, bc I saw someone mention Geralt as an example of a predetermined character in an rpg that works, that yeah, I fully agree it can work! But in Geralt's case, for example, he's a well established character who's fully written before you start the game. He has his own traits, his flaws and shortcomings, history, relationships, etc. He's just as well written as any other character in the story, and the only things you have power over are his choices and a bit of his fighting style(sometimes his hair as well), but everything is made to fit with who this character is as established before the game even starts. Think of the origin characters in Baldur's Gate 3, it's the same thing- they're not customizable, they're established before you even start, and the only control you have is over their journey. None of these are ever meant to be a blank slate, and they're written as such.
With this Phyre character it's like they're trying so so hard to tread the line between "this is a character that stands on their own" and "this is a blank slate you can fully customize". What you end up with is a very "meh" sort of character, who's not one or the other, without enough wiggle room to make your own story however you want and not enough to get attached to them as they are. We get attached to Geralt bc he's a fully written character in the game, you just control his actions. The problem with Phyre is that they're neither a fully written character nor fully yours to write.

Fnaf au where William figures out how to actually resurrect cc and then the aftons just have to live with that— not only is cc undead now but dad is freaking victor Frankenstein !! (like, literally, I imagine William discovered how to harvest remnant from recently deceased corpses rather then killing anyone himself, thus the mci doesn’t happen and Charlie doesn’t die either)
They just have to pretend this is normal and fine

alright so now that we’ve gotten some actual crumbs, it feels like it’s a good time to lay out my prediction for what da4 is going to look like. writing this in a letter and mailing it to myself
we are part of an underground organization formed from the ruins of the inquisition to stop solas from ending the world
meanwhile the wardens have been researching the blight/the location of the archdemons and discover some secret about the location of the black city/what is actually contained in it
we’re supposed to be shocked at the reveal that the evanuris are trapped in the black city and the maker doesn’t exist
the ancient elves were in control of some crazy mutating technology (like in hormak) and that was the original source of the darkspawn. the whole thing about them being from the deep roads and a dwarf concern was actually just a red herring, they’re just underground because they’re powered by lyrium and this has ALSO been an elf thing the whole time :)
anyway, now we need to Double Make Sure the veil stays up because the evanuris have something even worse cooking up in the black city and we need to prevent them from unleashing a super blight and destroying all life, and our job is to convince solas to give up, not because we disagree with his plan but because his actions will have unintended consequences. even if he doesn’t care about everyone else and wants to rebuild the world, he won’t even be able to do THAT because the super blight will kill elves too. so although we WERE enemies we will have to band together to defeat the greater threat etc. it will be optional to recruit him as an ally/advisor, or you can just fight him directly and take control of his forces
we will have to cross into the fade AGAIN and storm the black city directly to put a stop to whatever’s going on in there

our esteemed president is convinced that in medieval times people didn't bathe regularly. he uses this excuses during reenactments, to stay dirty, convince us to sleep in the same clothes that we sweat all day and use them the next day too and shut down any request of finding accommodation for us to shower after we close up camp.
I know, shameful for the president and founder of a medieval reenactment company.
unfortunately for him, we're no as uneducated as we used to be when we first joined, so we know better now (medieval times were the times when personal hygiene came back in vogue after the fall of the Roman Empire and the first wave of "our bodies sinful and taking care of them is reproachable" - courtesy of the first Church). as for many things, we have to thanks the Arabs for this, but it's another long parenthesis.
truth is, especially in the period we're reenacting, everyone loved a good daily scrub after work and a full bath every few days. and soap existed (thanks the Arabs, again).
now, to the fun part. till now we always camped in mountain valleys without water bodies nearby, but we might have the chance to start doing them regurarly in a valley where I usually go in Summer to bathe in the river (I honestly prefer rivers to seas and lakes).
which it means that I'm already plotting to force people into the river to bathe themselves after we close up camp. with soap (do you know that Marsille's soap is very very old? and we live next to France and we always had a close tie with them - still had it till we kicked out our useless royal after WWII).
so, no more excuses. our president will have the chance to prove how much of a macho he is by bathing in the frigging river. I will dare him.

Why don’t you want five in school?
Oh, I've ranted about it before in the tags of THIS POST but in general it makes me wildly uncomfortable. As an adult, the thought of hypothetically being forced back to high school is the fucking pits, you could not pay me enough to do it - and I even had a good time in high school! Five is almost 60 years old and they're going to force him to go to classes and hang out with teens? That feels bad from every angle! It forces Five to act in a way he'd only do under great duress and fucks his agency and autonomy as an adult so badly. There are better, more interesting ways to play with the consequences of his physical vs actual age than sending him to goddamn high school. There's other, less dominating options for the "he looks like a kid and never actually graduated" problem.
You do you if that's your jam, don't let a random dude on the internet yuck your yum, but Five in high school is a squick for me.

man... rhoam's "redemption" in aoc really sucked, huh?
like botw SHOWED us, several times, how much pressure rhoam put on zelda to unlock her powers, despite her telling him, several times, that it wasn't working. he got angry and banned her from doing not only something she saw as useful, but something that she was clearly very interested in and passionate about because she "wasn't dedicating enough time to her prayers." yes, his diary expresses regret for it, but at the end of the day, if zelda saw that it wouldn't mean much to her. the actions rhoam took, and the way zelda grew up under so much pressure that she nearly died as a child in one of the springs (this is in urbosa's diary, iirc) mean so much more than his regrets and his intentions. it took him nearly 10 years to realize that he fucked up, and by that point it was too late. the calamity had returned, and rhoam had lost any chance he had at making things right with zelda.
meanwhile, in aoc, all that's there is some half-hearted scene in the temple of time that's supposed to make everything better? yes, aoc had a very different and arguably better outcome than the calamity that led to botw, but the damage was still done by rhoam. it's still the same hurts and abuse and trauma that he put his daughter through all because of the prophesized calamity.

Ok so. OC thoughts about Order 66.
Verred and Kuru are with Latros on Coruscant when the order comes out. Verred leaves Kuru with Latros and runs to the Jedi Temple to see what's going on and help people escape. She doesn't come back.
Latros takes Kuru and escapes Coruscant before ships start to get pulled over and checked for hidden jedi
Master Apos was with the younglings, and that's another reason for Verred to go to the temple: to try to help her master one last time
Dji survives by letting its ship get blown up and hiding in the debris until the clones got tired of searching for a corpse. No one ever remembers givins can survive in vacuum.
When he's sure the clones have left he sends a distress signal and hopes for the best. It gets rescued by the Da'ali twins, and asks to stay with them until it can find one of its people
(It doesn't know yet what happened to master Apos and Verred and pretty much every other member of their lineage. He suspects, but he doesn't know.)
The three of them eventually track down and find Kuru (and Latros) so Dji can reunite with the only other survivor of their little family.
Latros and the twins are both bounty hunters, and Dji is a great pilot, so they're like. hey why go our separate ways. why not become a crew.
So in my mind they become something kinda like the Ghost crew from Rebels but with two ships, three pilots, and a decade earlier
bonus thought. Latros is a kinda acquaintance of Maul (he worked for him on occasion before the Siege of Mandalore) and I think it would be very funny for them to meet him, considering the crew is composed of two jedi (bad thoughts on Maul) two mandalorians (complex thoughts on Maul) and Latros (no thoughts whatsoever)
