Full moon on January 6th 

This upcoming full moon has the potential to truly open us up emotionally, on the deepest level. It may not feel like a crisis (to be honest full moons often do), but instead it may have more of a cathartic and ethereal vibe. On January 6th Neptune acts almost like a mediator between Cancer and Capricorn, which are naturally opposing energies. The axis of Capricorn and Cancer revolve around our private versus public selves, and the side of us that is focused on getting ahead, versus the side of us that is focused on empathy and emotional experience. Through Capricorn season we’ve maybe been learning about what it takes to ensure success, how we measure up to our own material aspirations, as well as what structures we align with in hopes of being able to achieve. 

The Capricorn sun brings an external focus that is readily committed and forward facing. With the Cancer full moon may come the culmination of all the emotions that have needed tending along the journey of goal-realization, and this is amplified through the Neptunian influence. With the Cancer moon opposing Mercury during its retrograde transit there could be themes surrounding the processing of emotion, especially as full moons are an emotional time anyway. We may have emotional reflections stirred up in the form of assessing what it is that is missing internally: what forms of deep connection are being neglected for the sake of tangible movement forward? Cancer moons are an important time to check in internally, as whatever is imbalanced emotionally will show up on the outside and hinder progress or stability. There is no way to exist without eventually experiencing the imbalances that exist between our inner and outer worlds. 

This particular full moon could be a time to examine our familial bonds and certain things from the past that have contributed to how we think and behave (Mercury) today, plus their potential effect on our future. All facets of the self stem from past influences, and with Cancer being the sign of the full moon we may notice our thoughts and emotions lingering on the past and we may feel greatly nostalgic. With the moon Trining Neptune the full moon has a chance to go really deep. There could be an opening up of wishful thought processes and hopefulness (much needed, I would say!), especially since Mercury is sextiling Neptune as well. This is a good time to indulge in the dreamier aspects of seeking success - to not allow self criticism (rife with Mercury retrograde in Capricorn) or the instinct of devaluing our efforts to derail our vision of personal potential. 

With Mercury retro conjuncting the sun during the full moon, there could definitely be a tendency to overthink the self in emotional ways - second guessing or feeling insecure about standing in the world could come up, especially with the moon in Cancer putting out a call to focus on emotional stability, and value the things that almost matter least in the current capitalistic environment of the world - things such as: emotional sensitivity, self understanding, depth and stability in an internal sense. The upcoming Cancer full moon sextiles Uranus, which brings a sense of feeling ready for a change - a shift in perspective as well as a rearrangement of our comfort zones. Uranus in Taurus shakes us up in terms of how we get stuck in ruts due to being complacent or overly comfortable, and so this energy is somewhat carried into the full moon on January 6th.

Overall this will be a time to focus on how we can become emotionally aligned and focused on the future in ways that are resonant with who we really are emotionally, and to try to move away from self doubt and cynical thought processes. By recognizing and not rejecting the past as well, we can better utilize our intuition in order to release what it is that no longer serves us.

Ok, I know everyone is talking about the big emotional stuff but I just wanted to point out something super small that I noticed

So in this scene, Stolas says that it's always about sex, and, for some reason, the phrasing of this really jarred me. I didn't notice this while watching but, in retrospect, I realized why.

Because Stolas said the word "sex". Which isn't all that weird, right? It's a raunchy show and all. But for some reason, it felt strange that he said it. I initially chalked it up to Stolas being a more composed and polite character who doesn't swear and stuff outside of certain situations.

But, then I realized something:

So his whole episode was kind of about sex. Blitz was making it through Lust for a reason. There was a bunch of comedy about all the different sex shops and horny stuff going on and this whole time Blitz is prepping for a big, sexy night.

But at no point in this episode do the characters refer to this stuff as "sex". It's always a euphemism or a creative expletive referring to specific acts, but they never say this word with this meaning.

And, throughout the rest of the show, Stolas in particular is always very flowery and vague when referring to it, saying stuff like "our little rendezvous" or "a night of passion" or whatever.

But here he is, referring to this act outside of all that. It's pure and clinical and matter-of-fact and blunt. And it's clear that before this, he's looking for a word, maybe something more gentle or poetic but then he lands on this. It's the most blunt Stolas has been about this. This is the most blunt this episode's been about this, because, stripped of all the kinky shit and the emotional stuff, that is all their relationship seems to be. This is all Blitz sees their relationship as. And there's no need to sugarcoat it because that's all that it is. So he might as well be blunt about it.

If you don’t know who the artist is, use reverse google images or saucenao.com to look for a source. Can’t find the original artist/source? DON’T POST THE ART.

A work of art posted without permission or credit is considered stealing, because others will believe YOU made it and therefore YOU will receive the credit, which is unfair. Artists put a lot of time and work into their pieces and deserve to be credited/respected. Putting “credit to the owner/creator” under the art is not enough; other users still won’t be able to find the actual creators and it’s no proof that the artist gave permission for their work to be posted elsewhere than their own blogs/accounts.

I know many people find pictures on Pinterest, but the artists often aren’t credited there either. Don’t upload these artworks if you don’t know who made it.

"there's no way in salazar that is ever going to happen." you reply defiantly, not wanting to give in to him, not wanting him to get his own way.

one second you've walked into the room, the next he's lifting you onto a desk, surprising you with his strength. he doesn't talk and keeps silent as he shoves down his trousers just enough to be able to pull his dick out. you look at him in a daze, thinking that you've never been with someone as big as remus before and you're finding it hard not to stare. when remus notices it makes him cocky but his irritation for you and need to dominate you overshadows it.

"what are you waiting for?" he spits out venomously. you rush to take of your underwear, just wanting him in you. as he looks down at you, he grabs your throat, not choking you just putting his hand around your neck. "i'm doing to fuck you so hard you won't even be able to talk."

"that's a lot of talk lupin." you snap back at him.

the inability to use modern expressions like "jesus christ" and "oh my god" when writing people speaking in a modern, colloquial fantasy in fiction is actually really awkward sometimes. because almost anything you replace it with is going to sound naff as hell. tempted to just leave the culturally-contextual oaths in and trust people to understand that they're translation conventions. turn linguistic smeerps into rabbits, as it were.
