A 110 Production?…
Executives it’s been a while but let’s get into it. If you follow me in anyway you know two things about me; I have a lot of ambitions, purposely plural and as a result I’m all over the place resulting in not only a chaotic presentation but in all honesty I find myself “losing my place.” I start one project and try to integrate it with another idea that Isn’t fully fleshed out. And I kinda just…

I don’t like tropes that show autistic characters as superhuman experts in their special interest.
My special interest isnt part of my career, though I'm kind of ok with that because instead its my way to unwind. It's my treat. I wish NT people didn't see special interests of autistic people as a profession or expertise or something like that, though sometimes it is, for me its not. For me its just my happy place.
I want to feel like I’m allowed to have it that way for me. I just graduated in Film and Television. It was something as close to my special interest that I could get to become a ‘professional’ at something. For those wondering, my special interest is cartoons and acting, but sadly my joint ADHD doesn’t let me have the patience to draw or animate well. I do have a knack for acting but acting is a very hard profession to get your foot in the door with and doesn’t offer a stable fulltime career. I do post my silly drawings sometimes. It’s just... I went through all that work to try and be something and for what?
Thats why I don’t think i’ll end up doing scriptwriting or filmmaking because I kind of just don’t care as much as I told myself I did. Will i do something with my degree? Yeah! But as a hobby that makes me happy. Not as a career. It’ll be my escape, my treat and my happy place.
I wanna feel like I’m allowed to have it that way.

Random little post canon headcanons I have for the boy
Once he's back outside Collingwood and Baltimore State, I can't ever see the boy get back to his old job aka standing in front of a camera or working behind one. For obvious reasons, canon has left him seriously traumatized, and you could see that in the second movie already, he literally could not bear being filmed and hated it. He said he was done with it.
Given the type he is, stubborn, relentless, unwilling to be entirely broken, I think he'd force himself to become 'comfortable' around cameras again. Aka, get to a point where holding one, seeing one recording anything or just looking at one won't send him straight into an episode anymore. He's someone who just has to conquer his fears. But still, anything about the working aspect of filmmaking is something he won't ever find himself loving and enjoying ever again. So I don't see him ever getting back into it fulltime and regularily. It's just too stressful and intense as a job for someone like him and would make all his problems very much worse. He'll still love films and stories themselves. He'll keep collecting films and hell, maybe even cameras for the sake of it. But that's it.
Other than that, for some weird reason I HC him as maybe picking up a job in construction type of work, for small single family homes especially. Something that's entirely grounded in reality and the physical world - helping build something that's meaningful and that lasts for other people. He'd do it off the books of course, with fake names and what not, and only from time to time, not fulltime. But he finds it somewhat cathartic. Next to that, I could also see him do something with writing and books. Write a lot of stuff all by himself and for himself, fictional stories, but also real stuff he went through to work through it, could also see him volunteering at a library or something similar every now and then. I also HC him as a great writer despite all the bullshit. At his very core, he's still a creative and passionate person at heart and luckily, that hasn't changed. Even if he has to channel it differently now. I also do have the HC that maybe, he'll end up writing a very amazing screenplay under a pseudonym that'll hit the big screen and become a huge success. He might even sneak onto set once or twice, but won't be known or involved otherwise. In a way, I could see that as a 'fair' victory for him.
Family wise, he still won't ever have one and doesn't ever want one, is incapable of having one. At least in a 'traditional' sense. In my verses I've established with other people on here, he does go back to his daughter whom he never had any contact with before, and does establish a relationship with her that works in his own weird way. And he does care a lot about her. Same goes for her mom, who he deeply respects despite all the shit he's saying and doing sometimes. But I can't ever see him in a cliché 'happy ending' with a home and a family and yada yada. He'll still be his own one man army type of thing most of the time. He'll crave the cliché at times, envy people who have it, and it'll take him a while to make peace with the way he is now. But he'll get there.
In a verse without Azzy, I do HC that he'll overcome his trauma and character sooner or later and by the end of it, will be a fairly balanced good man. And that's actually the only verse where I do see somewhat of a 'happy' ending for him. It's true that in there, his potential will have been entirely wasted and destroyed. He was supposed to be a super successful rich douchebag of a filmmaker and 'celebrity' and he would've become that person without canon. Instead, canon made him a much more human, humble and 'better' person he was also capable of being. He'll still have his flaws, but who doesn't?

The 5 Stages Of Grief: A Requiem For A Friend
My Best friend Justin Ramos, died on August 9th, 2020. And it’s has had a profound effect on my life. The immediate effect was me falling into a deep despair! At the time, I was staying in a homeless shelter in Brooklyn, but in a “great place” mentally. Working a security job and waiting to move into my current place(which I plan to leave soon). I fell into a deep despair; a catatonic…

'On Becoming a God in Central Florida,' with Kirsten Dunst, is a Bonkers Ride
this show is weird. i wish it was...more weird.
Tumblr media
Kirsten Dunst gives her all in the new dramedy "On Becoming a God in Central Florida," debuting on Showtime Sunday. (The first two episodes are currently available to watch via YouTube.) Set in 1992 in an Orlando suburb, Dunst plays Krystal Stubbs, a hardworking and underpaid mother of a small baby and wife to Travis (an off-the-wall Alexander Skarsgard). After spending her days employed at a struggling waterpark right outside Disney World, Krystal comes home to her often manic husband, who is paying less attention to his job (or a "j-o-b" as Travis calls it) as an insurance salesman, and focusing more on getting involved with the cultish pyramided scheme called Founders American Merchandise, or F.A.M. Krystal is sick and tired of putting up with Travis and his devotion to F.A.M. He's poured thousands of his family's dollars into buying useless F.A.M. products and merchandise — hoping to sell them to others and recruit them into the organization. Krystal can't seem to talk sense into Travis and pull him out of F.A.M. His devotion to F.A.M. is mostly because of Travis's upline (or, his boss) Cody, played by Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin in a breakout role. Cody is a cartoonish Type-A beta male that promises the world to the Stubbs family (if you quit your "j-o-b" and join F.A.M. fulltime, you'll finally be happy, he claims) and he's the shining star in "On Becoming a God"; it's hard to take your eyes off of him anytime Pellerin is on screen. Krystal can see through his snakeskin suit and half-truths while Travis, who fell into F.A.M. while struggling with alcohol addiction, eats it up. Over the course of the 10-episode season (each episode is about an hour long), Krystal goes down a bonkers rabbit hole, burrowing deeper and deeper into F.A.M. where the mysterious and possibly mentally unwell Obie Garbeau II (Ted Levine) sits atop the strange pyramid. Her decision to sink herself into the organization is sparked by a truly shocking twist in the first episode that involves a mystical white moose but that will not be spoiled here.
"On Becoming a God" offers spectacle and Dunst at her best. The show also features "Last Man on Earth" star Mel Rodriguez as Krystal's good-natured coworker and neighbor Ernie and singer Beth Ditto (yes, you read that right), who gives a wonderful and warm performance as Ernie's wife Bets. The show is peppered with outrageous moments but it is centered by Dunst's performance where she plays Krystal with so much drive, you often wonder if she's breaking bad or even a complete manipulative psychopath. It's great to see Dunst as an anti-hero and the show is a smart satire on the American dream. Created by Robert Funke and Matt Lutsky, "On Becoming a God" was originally going to be directed and co-produced by Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos ("The Favourite," "The Lobster") but during the development process, he dropped out of the project. It's poor form to critique something on what it is not but it is hard not to see what he would have done with "On Becoming a God." Lanthimos's off-kilter and deadpan tone would have been welcomed to this dramedy, which is ultimately enjoyable but lacks that certain punch to send it over the top into a show you'd have to tune into. The dramedy is strange to be sure (George Clooney, along with Dunst herself serve as executive producers) but there's still a lot to be desired from "On Becoming a God." There is a live-wire energy at the get-go of the show but that ebbs and flows throughout the uneven freshman season. At its best, the show is a platform for some fantastic performances.
"On Becoming a God" is the latest story that follows people struggling to make ends meaet who happen to live in Florida — a subgenre that seems to have popped up a number of times since Donald Trump took office. Most notably, the 2017 film "The Florida Project," directed by Sean Baker, featured a young single mother raising her child in a dingy motel outside of Disney World. That same year, the TNT show "Claws" debuted. Starring Niecy Nash, that show follows a group of manicurists in of Manatee County, Florida who are sucked into the world of organized crime and eventually work their way up to the top. There's a lot of similarities between "Claws" and "On Becoming a God." Both feature strong women who give fantastic performances but what they both examine is how the American dream seems impossible in our current climate. Having grit and a good work ethic will not make you prosper in the land of the free, especially if you're a woman. In order to survive, you have to play the game. In "On Becoming a God" that means literally blasting your way through a cult run by a madman.

Famous Muses & Girlfriends in Filmmaking Pt. 21
MUSE: Lisa Marie (full name Lisa Marie Smith)
Lisa was born on December 5th, 1968 in Piscataway, NJ, and was primarily raised by a single father. After Lisa turned 16, she dropped out of Catholic high school and moved to New York City to pursue a showbusiness career. She studied dance, piano, guitar, filmmaking and photography before landing a fulltime gig as a fashion model. By the time Lisa was 18, she was already a favorite of designer Calvin Klein and photographer Bruce Weber. Her photoshoots were featured in popular magazines like Esquire, Maxim and Vanity Fair. She even sang backup vocals on rock musician/manager Malcolm McLaren’s 1989 song ‘Something’s Jumpin’ in Your Shirt.’ A year earlier Lisa was briefly seen in Weber’s documentary Let’s Get Lost (1988) and acted in the ‘88 episode ‘Baseballs of Death’ on “Miami Vice.” In 1990, Lisa made her movie debut with a minor role in Woody Allen’s Alice before deciding to take a break from modeling. On New Year’s Eve in 1991, Lisa would meet gothic, cult filmmaker Tim Burton which quickly sparked one of the most prolific personal and professional film collaborations of the 1990s. The two supposedly met late that holiday night at a NYC strip club (classy), coincidentally the same day Tim’s divorce to ex-wife Lena Gieseke was finalized. It was love at first sight, with Tim proposing to Lisa only six weeks later on Valentine’s Day, 1992.
For anyone who’s a fan of Tim, you’ll definitely notice that the guy has a rather specific type for his screen actresses and significant others in real life. Wide eyes, pale skin, dark hair and slim figure; as seen on Winona Ryder, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christina Ricci, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Eva Green and Krysten Ritter. The most significant impact by far was Lisa. Not only did she co-star in Tim’s films Ed Wood (1994), Mars Attacks! (1996), Sleepy Hollow (1999) and Planet of the Apes (2001); but as his fiancée, she was his main muse for a whole decade. Her physical features are allegedly the basis for ragdoll love interest Sally in Tim’s stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993); and the couple shot a slightly bizarre promo music video for Ed Wood with Lisa wearing her Vampira costume. Nightmare director Henry Selick credited Lisa as a good influence on Tim’s personal life, with her pushing him to eat healthier. During a 2015 interview with the zine ‘toofab,’ Lisa said that wearing her Martian Girl wardrobe for Mars Attacks! was kind of a nightmare; with the dress being so tight, she had to be sewn into it, and the huge wig/fake beehive really heavy. That same production, Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Nathalie Lake’s pet Chihuahua, was actually owned by Lisa and Tim at the time. The actress and director originally adopted the dog after finding it as a stray wandering the streets of Tokyo, Japan while they were traveling.
Though they were engaged for the vast majority of their relationship, Tim and Lisa never officially made it down the aisle, and just lived together. During the filming of Planet of the Apes, it was ‘rumored’ Tim began a secret affair with Helena Bonham Carter right as both of them were working opposite Lisa on set. Tim didn’t officially break up with Lisa until near the end of the press tour, so this must’ve made the premieres a little awkward. Planet of the Apes ended up flopping, though not because of the transparent overlap in relationships, but because it was crap and got bad reviews. Similar to Lisa, HBC went on to be Tim’s muse/fiancée from 2001-2014 and became mother of his two kids. As an impressionable, early 2000s era 7th grader who was obsessed with Tim Burton films, discovering one of your fave filmmakers is a fuckboy like every other male celeb is a legit bummer. Retrospectively, Lisa can boast about inspiring Tim at the height of his career and craft. Since her time with Tim, Lisa has modeled and acted sporadically and mostly seems to hang around L.A. and Paris these days.

⎨The Basics ⎬
➥Legal Name: Lance Preston ➥Nickname/Alias: He doesn’t have one (don’t call him Lancelot, he says thank) ➥Birthday: February 18th, 1968 ➥Birthplace: Edmonds, Washington ➥Sex | Gender | Species: Male, Human ➥Preferred Pronouns: He/him ➥Sexual Orientation: Aromantic Heterosexual ➥Spoken Languages: English, little bit of broken Spanish and some Latin
⎨A History Lesson⎬ ➥Education: college, then film school in Washington (SeattleU) and LA (UCLA-TFT) ➥Who were they in school? (class clown, mean girl, etc.):  he was a weird mix of the nerd and jock personality. He did theatre, the film and computer club, but especially in the later years he also did lots of sports and won his schools a shitton of trophies. He most definitely had a subtle mean boy streak, but as in, he wouldn’t really bully anyone or be outright horrible, but he’d certainly use people for projects and pretend to be someone’s friend only to drop them the second he didn’t need them anymore ➥Occupation: pre- and canon: freelance filmmaker (directing, acting, post production), post canon: unemployed and on the run ➥Occupation they wanted as a child: He always wanted to be an actor and filmmaker ➥Socioeconomic level growing up: standard middle class, with his father being a small business owner. ➥Socioeconomic level now: pre- and canon: still standard middle class but a little better off. Kinda obsessed with making money, but through hard work. post canon: he doesn’t have any money or social status anymore. technically, he’s a psychiatric patient in fulltime care under the state’s thumb, without any money or possessions or many rights at that, but he ran from it, which only made his status worse ➥Living conditions growing up: Comfortable, safe, and well provided for by his parents. grew up in a two story nice suburbia home near Seattle ➥Living conditions now: pre and canon: has an apartment in LA but also spends time at the house back near Seattle since he has to take care of his mom. house is a little aged but still in good condition, but he definitely prefers his LA apartment, even though he’s barely there. All thanks to his show, he spends a great deal of his time in motels and hotels. post canon: very poor living conditions since he’s on the run and technically kinda homeless ➥Criminal Record: Pre and canon: None. Post canon: wanted for murder

⎨Let’s Get Physical⎬
➥Character’s Build: pre and canon: tall and slender. post canon: skinny
➥Height: 6'2"
➥Hair Color: Very dark brown.
➥Eye Colour: hazel, but a total mystery really. it changes a lot. depends on the lighting
➥Body Modifications: none
➥Scars/Birthmarks: he has a small birthmark close to where his left hipbone is. As for scars, he has a large scar underneath his left eye post canon, thanks to Friedkin’s horrible mess of a lobotomy
➥Powers/Abilities: pre and canon: none, post canon (hailing from Azathoth): Telekinesis, Clairvoyance, Mediumship, Pyrokinesis, immunity to mind control powers With time: hydrokinesis, large scale telekinesis and chronokinesis (buildings, building blocks, maybe even cities one day, Azzy is powerful), telepathy and complete mind control, Omni-Manipulation.
➥Restrictions/weaknesses: is human, so he can die from natural causes such as illness, accidents, old age, Azathoth and Lance are each other’s weakness, they’re entirely codependent so if you want to get under someone’s skin, all you gotta do is threaten to take the other away from them
➥Physical or Mental Illnesses: pre canon: none, other than maybe insomnia, post canon: stockholms syndrome/trauma bond, ptsd, depression, anxiety and night terrors, also technically has massive brain trauma that leaves him severely impaired, but the demon possessing him is keeping his mind together like glue despite the physical restrictions

Aw, I’d love to hear about 8 ✨
8. Imagine your book is published and turned into a movie. Please tell me about the great things you imagine as part of this fantasy.
Me: blasting through the roof at the mere idea.
Lol.
Ok, so, I know this doesn’t happen, because writers are busy doing writer things, but since it’s a fantasy in several senses, I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the whole filmmaking process. A film professor in college who never heard more than two sentences out of me told me I should be a film student, and did I listen? No. So, here I am, not regretting it, because I loved what I did, but also wanting to learn how to tell stories in more ways. So I’d love to be in the script development process. I’d love to be on set watching (a director’s worst nightmare, but I’d try to not be a diva about their decisions, lol). I’d love to be able to give input to soundtrack and choices like that and hear what they say and to be in the editing room watching how all the technical stuff comes together and how people tell stories in this completely other way. This is probably one of the geekiest fantasies, but truly, that’s the big on out of all that.
(Money to be a writer fulltime would be nice, too.)
Thank you, sweets! x
