8. Imagine your book is published and turned into a movie. Please tell me about the great things you imagine as part of this fantasy.

Me: blasting through the roof at the mere idea.

Lol.

Ok, so, I know this doesn’t happen, because writers are busy doing writer things, but since it’s a fantasy in several senses, I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the whole filmmaking process. A film professor in college who never heard more than two sentences out of me told me I should be a film student, and did I listen? No. So, here I am, not regretting it, because I loved what I did, but also wanting to learn how to tell stories in more ways. So I’d love to be in the script development process. I’d love to be on set watching (a director’s worst nightmare, but I’d try to not be a diva about their decisions, lol). I’d love to be able to give input to soundtrack and choices like that and hear what they say and to be in the editing room watching how all the technical stuff comes together and how people tell stories in this completely other way. This is probably one of the geekiest fantasies, but truly, that’s the big on out of all that.

(Money to be a writer fulltime would be nice, too.)

Heyy! I have been so inactive on this blog for the past 1.5 years. I have randomly popped in and reblogged or queued posts but I miss being active and interacting with everyone. So, with me starting optometry school soon I am motivated to get back into blogging. For my new followers and for those who forgot me:

to hold some accountability in my life and develop / maintain good study habits. i’ve realised that reblogging countless masterposts, study tips and studyspo will motivate and inspire me to study but, i don’t actually apply said advice to my life. so by being directly involved in the community, i hope i can be more consistent and responsible for my studying.
