i’ve wanted to do this for a while, and i think now is a good time. i want to do a “plan your own taylor concert” night. everyone takes an album from taylor’s discography and plans a concert around that. it can be any album, including the albums that already had tours themself.

basically you’ll come up with the following:

opening acts

stage design

song list

costumes

anything involving taylor going into the air (she does this for like every concert in retrospect)

and anything else! including if it had a special meet and greet after or what have you

it doesn’t need to be super professional, it can just be a list of what you think would be cool. it also doesn’t have to be based in reality, it’s a fake concert so like go crazy.

i’m going to set the date for the end of may to give us all time to spread the word/prep it.

the day to post everything will be: may 30th

you can post at any time on that day. just make sure to tag it #swiftblr concert night so we can all see it.

• When she wears watches she wears them upside down

• She likes to cut her own hair (once let 2D and Murdoc cut her hair but it turned out horrible and had to wear a hat for weeks.)

•Had a scene phase

•2D always makes her tea and she grew a sweet tooth for it

• after plastic beach and when she finally settled with the band for Humanz Russel, 2D, and Murdoc all got together to get her a pet cat as a gift (Aka Katsu)

2D

•still makes the band tie his shoes (no matter how many times Noodle and Russel try to teach him he can’t figure it out)

•has a ton of collections of different things. Like rock collections, CD collections, etc.

•Always makes the band have a board game night on Saturdays (Noodle almost always wins)

•Deathly scared of whales because of plastic beach

•He has been called 2D for so long he forgets his real name is Stuart

•Indecisive music taste. He likes everything.

Murdoc

•He doesn’t say it out loud but he’s still sour about how popular The Now Now is.

•He has never gone a day without wearing his upside down cross necklace, it’s like a second skin for him

•Somehow befriended all the crows in the area (he secretly loves feeding the crows and sitting outside with them)

•every time he’s bored he’ll stick a sticky note to 2Ds back with some kinda obscene stuff on it and laugh his ass off as 2D looks around confused

•Only likes rock and metal. Will shit on any other type of music, will argue how metal is better. Literally no shame.

Russel

•Always makes the band eat his new chili pepper recipes and Noodles the only one who finished the whole bowl while 2D and Murdoc have to drink milk after the first bite

•Likes golf

•Extrovert, hates being inside for too long

•Likes to try different kinda weird foods (like those lollipops with the spiders and crickets in them.) (2D once tried one and ended up screaming when he reached the cricket in the lolipop)

•Has a super old record collection

Well first of all, this month of structured prompts to spread joy and love in this fandom is a favorite, I think it's a great response to both in-fandom drama and also life has been getting only increasingly difficult for people and taking the time to either give or receive something kind does help <3

@steddiemicrofic is my favorite of all time, I started doing them in July 2023 when I was still new to posting fanfiction and being a more active part of a fandom! They've been great writing exercises and some of my favorite ideas ever have started with microfics. I have a love/hate relationship with word counter dot net now :' ) @steddieunderdogfics This is less' an event and more of a collection of weekly events! I just really like this blog and think they're doing great work, I've found so many fics I wouldn't have come across without them <3

@corrodedcoffinfest I think in fandom there are a lot of missed opportunities and one of them is how more of us could be exploring the band and their relationships! They don't get a lot of screen time but they're very much an integral part of canon, and it's great to have guidance on where to start with figuring out what stories you want to write about them!

Spicy Six Events: @thefreakandthehair puts these on, and I think they're also a great way to expand the horizons of fandom. Spixy Six (+Chrissy) are all really interesting characters with enough backstory and personality to fill a book, so the encouragement to write about them and their interpersonal dynamics is fantastic!

Thank you to the people running these! There's a lot of love and hard work that goes into them and it's much appreciated <3 <3 <3

hello besties in my phone!!! i’m sorry this post has been delayed, being an america this past week has been incredibly draining and i needed a breather.

but i’m here to announce the night for the death to the author powerpoint night!!!

the post date will be December 14th and it’s a 24hr event!

i went with one in december to give us all more time to prepare.

FAQ:

- you can write about anything you want!!! the point of the night is to interact with taylor’s music without rooting it back to her life. because while that is good and can make the song deeper, her music is so much more than that. each song is connected to one fan for one reason or another and we should celebrate that!!

- BE NICE TO EVERYONE! if you don’t like someone’s interpretation or story they decided on a song, simply ignore and scroll. because of the prompt is expected (and encourage) people talking about taylor’s songs in a queer light. and there is nothing wrong with that! again this night is about thinking of this music not related to taylor and a lot of her songs can be/are queer coded. so if you want to write about how ivy is about lesbians please do!!!

I haven’t drawn cards yet, so can’t say this 100% for sure, but in my mind I saw skis. Water-skis. So, heh, maybe you could try that.

Pile 1, I feel like you have been stuck in a rut. You need to move your body. shake up your whole day, get creative.  it’s like you’ve been committing to only feeling a certain way and not exploring your options.  fun is fun, but if it doesn’t come your way easily the way that you would hope it to, you realise you just need to commit to having fun and this might sound counter-productive: get serious about having fun, get serious about it.

the Way, you are committing yourself to feeling miserable, commit yourself to having fun. Is that take care of yourself, give that nourishing Empress energy to your body and to your soul.

your energy is scattered. You might get excited easily so much so that you just don’t know what to commit yourself to. And after that you can see if you would like to do the other things that you considered.

You don’t have to hide and no you are not a meek, little small mouse or whatever that’s just limitations that you put on yourself that aren’t even there. You wish to be fun, exciting, enjoying life and you are. YOU CAN. You just don’t do it. There’s no limitations you just don’t do it. So just do it.(The nike slogan jumped out). Be out there and envision the bad bitch version that you wanna be, what your life is like. Just envision it and then just go out and do that because it’s the most fun you’ll ever have in life. Being yourself is the most fun you’ll ever have in life, and you don’t even have to like be with others in order to do that.

Just love yourself because it’s good for your health and I don’t know if it’s just me and my insatiable habit to sing everything that I say or you are a singer as well.
