i fucking hate biomedicalizing anything about being trans because as much as i love understanding the world through a biological science perspective, the last thing that anyone needs is for there to be this quantifiable measurement on 'transness' out there for transphobes to get a hold of but at the same time. sometimes i look at myself- at how fucking sick i got when i was on estrogen and all the physical health problems i had before i went on testosterone and how they all seemed to have magically dissapeared as soon as i got on t- and i can't help but wonder if there's some genuine physical disconnect going on there. like i was physically wired to have a specifically masculine hormone balance and not having it once i hit puberty is why i was so physically fucked up even before i realized i was trans

idk, physiology is a complex mess of things and sex is a multi-tiered system affecting all parts of the body and multiple organ systems so its likely different for everyone bc of that (not even getting into social dynamics) but. the fact that i havent felt crushing fatigue and muscle weakness and unexplained bouts of nausea/gi issues and random bouts of muscle aching or sudden weight gain despite varying my diet and havent had the irregular debilitatingly painful periods or periods that literally never stopped once they started ever since i went on t is something that i cant help but think about

can't for the life of me remember how lindon satamine is described as looking in the book and i left the book at work, but in my head ive devised him as being one of those upsettingly attractive, lithe, lantern-jawed types where he's Very There every time you're in a room with him and it makes everyone around him get a little tongue tied. otherwise we know next to nothing about him aside from the fact that svir would do anything on earth for the man. i think he's a hot freak. not that he has a freakish personality i think his personality is very average, bordering on nice for a falcresti government/navy functionary. but he LOOKS so good it sort of makes a freak of him . probably has the kind of overly clear eyes that stand out a little too much against his face. so symmetrical it's uncanny . in a world of constant incrastic hygiene his teeth are blindingly white naturally. the exercise he gets as a sailor is enough to maintain a svelte form and even as he approaches middle age his hair is still rich, full, and just barely speckled with silver. nobody looks like this man nobody even gets close cosgrade torrinde is jealous and visibly hiding it every time they interact his insane good looks have set him apart in a way he can't control. lindon satamine barely knows this though

Pain keeps pulsing through his veins, inside his head, in rhythm with a steady heartbeat; Khan is still standing, he won't budge, he won't break under whatever the Admiral is doing to him - not until he's freed his family, including Vega, and himself from that old man's grasp.

A pair of nostrils flare as Khan inhales, then exhales, slowly so, with his bright blue eyes focusing on the massive screen in front of him. This room, existing outside of their prison cells, is accessible to both of them; Similar to an observation deck on board of a starship, it offers a seating area as well as a massive screen to show off the night sky for them to look at in the late evening hours.

It's ironic, in a way - Marcus uses them to his advantage, causes pain both mentally and physically, tortures their minds and bodies... and yet he's offering them this room within what is the designated zone they're allowed to roam freely in, a place to recuperate, basically, until it's time for Khan and Vega to get locked up for the night once more.

He blinks, his head finally turning as he does to have his gaze linger on her instead now, an ocean meeting emeralds. A few seconds pass as silence stretches between them, accompanied by a throat working as Khan swallows; He can still taste copper at the back of his tongue, but his injuries are healing well.

Honestly I’d really like to make some kind of MLP AU or redesign/rewrite or whatever else of the sort because MLP was essentially my first fandom and it’s extremely nostalgic to me, but I’ve seen so many people do it already and have found myself physically incapable of producing something that isn’t blatantly copying what other people have done :/
