I have been deep in a Ghost Rider hyperfixation lately, so I decided, fuck it, this movie was the first time I ever experienced gender envy, so Johnny and Roxanne are T4T now

(not 100% happy with the bg in the first 2 panels, but I can't seem to fix it...)

as isaac watched blackheart fall, he instantly snapped. "blackheart!" isaac screamed, running out of the safety of the last place he spoke with blackheart. he tripped, but did not fall. he kept running, and eventually was by his side once more. he held blackheart's face gently, looking at his now empty, fire filled eyes. "don't go cold on me, blackheart!" isaac cried, bursting right into tears. roxxane and johnny only watched, partially shocked, but mostly in hate. how could somebody truely love a demon, to the point of death? well, they couldn't say much. and shouldn't. "come on! wake up!" he cried again, pumping his hands into blackheart's chest, giving him the best cpr he could. he felt blackheart's cold hands on his wrists, though his grip was feeble and weak. he looked at him, slowly stopping the cpr. his eyes filled with tears as his breath quickened. "isaac," he muttered, completely fatigued and defeated. he was slightly quivvering, feeling the last few minutes of life he had shorten. "i'm here. it's okay." "blackheart, please," he cried, clenching his hands tightly. "stay with me! don't go!" "i-- i'm sorry, isaac," he winced, slowly sitting up with isaac's aid. "you were right. he's got a punch." isaac stared him in the eyes, holding his face. "please, please, please…" he whined, his voice weakening and slowly getting louder. blackheart gently clutches him in his arms, leaning his head on isaac's shoulder. he sighs, finally uttering his final goodbye. "thank you… for everything, isaac." and with that, isaac absolutely broke. he started wailing like a poor, destroyed child. he clutched him as tight as he could, never wanting to let go. he wanted to do so much more, but he didn't have a sliver of power. his heart was shattered into trillions.

Shitty Superhero Tournament Rules and Bracket

Finally, ¡the tournament is about to begin! The bracket will be posted under the cut, but first let’s get some clarifications and rules out of the way:

The movies here have been selected (with two exceptions*) based on their Rotten Tomatoes movie scores and do not reflect my opinion of their quality. The tournament will be divided into six rounds.

Each movie will come with a quick summary of some of its highlights (or lowlights, depending on your point of view) but feel free to create and submit your own propaganda.

You may vote in any way you want, rooting for whatever gives you the most entertainment in a train wreck sort of way, the movie that’s the most incompetently made, a film you feel is actually really good, or however you want to interpret what the winner of a Shitty Superhero Movie Tournament entails.

Personal attacks/bigoted comments and propaganda WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If you are here looking for an excuse to be racist/sexist/homophobic/anti-semitic/body-shaming/a dick to people trying to collect a paycheck under the corporate grindstone, fuck off. Just because these movies may be shitty doesn’t mean you should be.

Ghost Rider (2007)

This movie is like, built for 12 year olds to think it's cool or something I swear, it's FILLED with moments that are either, sorta cool even now but would be actually cool if you were 12, or just really stupid. When Johnny Blaze is in Ghost Rider form he literally only either yells, or makes one liners, it's nuts.

Because of this, it's a movie where nic cage acting works. He too is both really stupid and kind of cool sometimes, the demons themselves are pretty cheesy but that's probably just because they're like background monster of the week type guy, they exist to be part of a team not to stand alone. Mephistopheles was pretty solid though, I thought that worked well with they were going for, even though he did look bad when they made him a CGI devil.

Speaking of, pretty solid sets and costumes and whatnot though. tragically for being a 2007 movie the CGI is, a little rough, for the titular Ghost Riders skull face, and all of the demons when they stop being exclusively a human guy, but like the bike tf scene and Carter Slade / his horse. that was pretty cool.

Overall rating: yeah if you're not paying money for it definitely watch this movie, easy to make fun of, has a small handful of genuinely good jokes, mostly just to realize how awesome this movie probably is for kids
