I just spent an hour writing a reaction post to the most recent chapter of @vibratingskull 's Jaw Crusher series, and Tumblr LOST IT.

So, while I calm down about that (I CAN and WILL redo it, I just spent an hour tailoring every image/.gif and word and am salty), I offer a doodle of my favorite scene from said chapter.

I'm just generally filling in the Reader's position with my OC, Iria, for sake of ease.

Kinda accidentally gave it torrid romance novel cover vibes and tbh? Here for it. It's what my soul knows is right.

Nothing makes me cackle and kick my feet faster than when some entity that is supposed to be ominous and ooooh so scary is just. Doing its job. And complaining about it to whoever will listen. Ah, yes, I'm but a fledgling demon, I need this promotion, or I'll get sacked otherwise, help a friendly demon out! Death is my all-time favourite character in the discworld. He is so clueless but well-meaning! Also, the demons from good omens come on, that whole ass office vibe they have going on. Sure, there is doom and death all around, but what's worse than paperwork? Nothing beats that no torture they can come up with. But even Crowley and his way of messing with humans is so... endearing? In a really messed up way? Like he will just push people to do evil deeds, or sometimes is just a straight-up nuisance. Michael from the good place also falls into this category, and I just !!!! I love this archetype! It never fails to just make me wanna jump up and down like they did the thing!!! They humanised that entirely not-human being by making them be just as confused and just as annoyed about the system as the rest of us are! Love it!

G Witch is something that I really appreciate in a story. So like, I'm not a big fluff person or romance person. What I want are stories that happen to be queer. I want us to be able to exist in other genres. When it comes to anime, Yuri on Ice was special to me because it was a sports anime that also happened to be gay. It also had a lot of passion and love behind it. To me, G Witch is the same. It's a sci-fi Mecha, war is hell, story that also happens to be gay and full of love and passion and gjdjfghf. Like, THIS IS WHAT I WANT!!! Gimme more of this! Give me a story that explores all sorts of topics and ideas and is also gay and it's not like, sequestered to being just a romance story. Not that such stories shouldn't exist! They should be there for those who like that stuff as well! I just don't care for it ahaha~

Anyways, 100% going to buy the anime when it comes out in physical media.
