Hi Maša 🤍 Don't mind me rambling a little in asnwering the question (:

The Rose of Versailles (1979-1980), adapted from the manga by Riyoko Ikeda. The scandals, the intrigues, the dramatic sparkling eyes and glittery tears! The big crush I had on Lady Oscar! I used to watch it all the time on television when I was a child (and a teen, and now as I am an adult) so there's a sentimental value to it too. This anime has the most specialest spot on my heart (:

ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept (2017), adapted from the manga by Natsume Ono. Not long ago I was rambling to no end about how much I love this one so it's no surprise I'm putting it on the list hehe. This anime has a super nice style, a banger funk sound track, great characters and a thrilling plot about a golpe and also delicious looking food. I found it by accident five years ago and regularly watch it every year, this is how much I like it.

House of Five Leaves (2010), adapted from the manga by Natsume Ono again (what can I say, I am a fan) I found it after watching ACCA and despite it being something entirely different, I think one can recognise Natsume Ono's touch in the lingering sense of ambiguity in the plot, the subtle tensions and the super charming characters that make both animes real bangers, the writing is great! The range, ma'am.

Mononoke (2007). This was recommended by a friend who suggested I may have liked the style and, guess what! they were right. The atmosphere is eerie and strange in the most charming way and compliments perfectly the various horror-themed plots. I haven't watched it in ages (,:

One Piece (1999-ongoing), adapted from the manga by Eiichiro Oda. Doesn't need introductions. Iconic. I have the fondest memories of One Piece that cover basically all my life. It feel so weird to think one day it will be over.

Special mentions: Mushishi (2005-2006) thank you Dani forever for recommending it, Cowboy Bebop (1999-2000) banger that I never finished, F (1988) that nobody remembers but I was literally obsessed with it as a kid

The interviewer’s name is Brooke. Steve isn’t sure who she’s with, he wasn’t paying that much attention.

She seems like a nice girl. Really, she does.

Steve is a little distracted though, trying his best to be earnest when he answers her questions.

“How did it feel when Jeremy told you he wrote the character specifically for you?”

“What was the most meaningful scene for you to film?”

“What was it like working with Nancy Wheeler? She’s my favorite.”

He thinks he does a pretty good job all things considered.

Well- considering that all he can hear is “Eddie! Over here” from the wall of paparazzi to his right. As kind as Brooke seems, he would much rather be hanging off his boyfriend while the crowd screams his name and begs for autographs.

Dating another famous person is all fun and games until work calls you both at the same time.

He looks over his shoulder between questions and catches Eddie throwing him a wink. He’s stood on the red carpet with the other Corroded Coffin boys and they’re all joking and laughing and acting like they don’t have a care in the world.

Steve knows that’s not true. They were all but shaking in their boots on the car ride over while their manager threatened them each on their lives to behave themselves.

He laughs under his breath and tears his eyes away.

“Okay! Now for some rapid-fire fan questions!” she says.

Perfect, this will be a good distraction until Eddie’s done being a goddamned model behind him.

Steve claps his hands together and furrows his eyebrows.

“I’m ready, let's do it.”

“What’s your favorite cereal?”

“Frosted Flakes, obviously.”

“When was the last time you went to the dentist?”

He snorts a laugh. “Uh, about a month ago actually. I chipped a tooth on set.”

“Yikes.” She looks down at the card in her hand. “Who is your most played artist on Spotify?”

He smiles, doesn’t need to pull out his phone to know the answer to that one.

“That would be my boyfriend.”

Brooke smiles at him and leans in conspiratorially, “If he isn’t really, I won’t tell anyone.”

He laughs. “He really is! If you wanted some juice though, Sabrina Carpenter is my second.”

She laughs and nods. “That’s perfect. I so see it. Okay, last one, what is your favorite snack to eat in bed?”

Oddly enough, he doesn’t really have to think to answer this one either.

“Pretzels, easy. We’ve been watching “How to Get Away With Murder” before bed every night and I’ve probably been through three bags this week. Honest.”

Brooke breaks her professional character to laugh and it spurs him on.

“It’s one of those things, I probably haven’t thought about a pretzel in three years and now that I’ve remembered they exist, I cannot put them down.” He notices now that even the camera guy is nodding and laughing. “You know when I was a kid, I used to love dipping a pretzel in my Coke can and hearing it fizz. That shit-”

He cuts himself off with a smile when he feels a warm hand slide around his waist.

“Hey hot stuff,” he giggles.

Eddie smacks a dramatic kiss to his cheek and squeezes his hip. His pretty smile taking over his face once he gets a good look at the blush that paints his cheeks.

“Hey babydoll. What’re you guys talking about?”

Steve’s head whips back around to Brooke. “Ooh! Ask him! I want to see if he says the same thing I did.”

She smiles and points the mic towards Eddie.

“What’s your favorite snack to eat in bed?”

Eddie puts on a faux contemplative look, puts a hand on his chin. He hums.

“Hm. That’s a tough one. God, I just don’t-”

Steve cuts him off, wraps his own arms around Eddie’s frame and gets in his face with a laugh.

“Oh come on, I know you’re thinking it! I want to be right!”

He makes himself giggle into Eddie’s shoulder thinking back to a few nights ago when Eddie had stuck two pretzel rods in his lip and pretended to be a walrus. So his confusion as to why Eddie isn’t answering only grows when he sees the filthy smirk on his face.

Eddie leans back far enough that he can see the mic flag.

“Who did you say you were with again?”

“E! News.”

Oh good. Steve had wanted to know that.

Eddie chuckles and Steve figures out what’s happening as soon as he feels Eddie’s hand shift. He can’t move his own fast enough.

“Well, Brooke from E! News, my favorite snack to eat in bed is my baby,” he punctuates it with a smack to Steve’s ass, “what else?”

Steve buries his blushing face in his boyfriend’s jacket and rushes to smack a hand over Eddie’s mouth before he can get out a, “Have you seen his-”

“OKAY, that’s enough out of you,” he looks back toward Brooke who is laughing hysterically, “I’m so sorry. He’s an animal.”

Steve is going to beat him up. Really, he is.

Eddie grabs his wrist and pulls his hand away from his mouth and settles it over his chest, bare under his studded jacket.

“Can you blame me? Look at him. Never tasted anything better.”

Okay, he’s done for real this time. He grabs Eddie’s arm and pulls him away, back toward the boys and more importantly away from the cameras.

“Thanks so much Brooke, you’re a gem, I am so sorry, again.”

Eddie cackles behind him and he just knows that they’ll never live this one down.

How about an allsan au where almoat everyman he meets absolutely fumbles for him when they spend only 5 minutes with him, he ofcourse is oblivious (hes not even bi in denial he's just stupid)

It starts ofcourse with zoro seeing him hold up a marine by the throat, Gin and Luffy being given food out of kindness and nothing else, Ace, crocodile being impressed by the mr prince tricks and so on so on

Also lots of men flirt with him on island but are quickly chased away by a glare and a sword to the throat or a guy wrapping around the pretty boy demanding food (or the good old possessive hat placement)

You decide the end couple but the whole of blue fumble for Sanji fr fr

Zoro choking on his drink as watches Sanji lift a marine by the throat which makes Usopp and Nami giggle at him. Gin falling for him as he eats the best food he's ever had in his whole fucking life that's keeping him from starving to death. Luffy falls in love with the way he talks about the All Blue and cares about his job and others. He's so fucking kind.

Ace falls for the guy who takes care of the others and doesn't let guests work, who spoils the handful of a little brother he has. Sir Crocodile who thinks the blond is cute and clever, who set up chances for his captain to save the crew and then him. Koza who sees how well he's taken care of his princess and the help he's given to take back Alabasta. He still insists on helping to serve and cook and Cobra is giving Koza knowing looks that make him flush and avert his eyes from the king and the cook.

Maybe it's after the time skip, after Dressrosa when Barto is literally drooling over the 'ONLY ALIVE' poster that Law is flustered and asking Luffy and Zoro about the cook. They're staring at him as Robin is giggling to herself because they are possessive. Both of them. It's the Monster Trio. Sanji is oblivious. Both of them are grumbling about Sanji not seeing their obvious interest but it's Sanji. If someone doesn't hit him over the head with a four by four he's not going to take the hint. Ask all of Tashigi's men from Punk Hazard who were crying at the cook not taking their advances. Okay maybe he just needs to be beaten with said four by four. Pedro straight up sacrifices himself for Sanji and Sanji only feels bad he's dead and that his life ended coming to get him.

You got the rest of the North Blue Boys who are obsessing over Stealth Black and Law feels like throwing up if it wouldn't insult the cook, he's so fucking excited. Luffy is over the fucking moon to see it in action. Yamato looking at Sanji from across the party and Luffy asks him what's up and he's just like Law with the whole 'the cook' thing. MARCO KNOWS better, he knows how to make an impression so at one point he's just talking to Sanji and Sanji keeps looking between Marco and whatever he thinks he needs to be doing so Marco just lightly grabs Sanji's chin and says it's rude to not focus on the person you're talking with. Sanji is so red and stuttering as Luffy wraps a rubber arm around Sanji screaming for meat as Sanji is ripped from in front of Marco to like the other side of the room.

Maybe it would end with zolusan or whatever the ship is called. Zoro asks if they have to do what Marco did after all the flirting he and Luffy have been doing for all of their sailing together and Sanji just being confused at what they're talking about.

So for Akutagawa, hmm. I'd say:

My favorite thing about him is probably his character. That sounded so vague lmao 😭 I love how he is, as a person. Like his personality/writing is just my absolute favorite (did I mention he's my favorite character). Idk if that's as specific as the question implied though, so something specific I like about Akutagawa is his drive. He's determined, reckless, definitely fueled by his emotions, and I love it

I don't have a least favorite thing about him, although I kind of wish he had eyebrows 🤔 also I hate that he abused Kyouka and Higuchi, but alas, character flaws and Akutagawa is not without sin

Favorite line is "Return the weretiger to me" is that even a question you guys. Honorable mentions to "The weretiger is my ordeal", "Yes", literally any time he's said Jinko, and ["Just the two of us?"] "Do we need any more?"

idk what "brOTP" means, I assume it means my favorite platonic relationship Akutagawa has? For that, it's Akutagawa and Gin. I know they're not the best siblings and Akutagawa isn't the best brother, but I still appreciate their dynamic as family, and I think Gin helps shape who Akutagawa is

I live and die for Sskk oh my God they're my favorite ship they're my everything they're soulmates I love them pleaseee Asagiri let them kiss we all know Akutagawa is in love with Atsushi and Atsushi is in love with Akutagawa, like omg they're so freaking perfect for each other, and mirror each other, and are infinitely connected even in alternate universes. Uhhh idk, I feel like Akutagawa is underrated? Like he was so not talked about for so long in this fandom, until the latest chapters. He's definitely getting the spotlight more now, but he's still underrated imo (no idea if it's an unpopular view tho lmao) (also this isn't unpopular but TOP AKUTAGAWA SUPREMACY THANK YOU 🛐)

gin, we need your critical opinion about megalopolis. was it really that bad?

i mean.

is it unwatchable? no. but also it is not good for sure. would love for it to be a case of "so bad it circles back being somehow good", but unfortunately no, becasue in order to achieve such a thing coppola should have gone camp and embraced the style instead of taking himself too seriously.

there are. ideas. that considered by themselves sort of make sense if you are desperate to find sense in this insanity of a movie, but whether within or without context for the large part they remain disjointed. and are anyway very cringe at core. i don't know how to put it kindly but the script just sucks. and choices were made.

Further food for thought: Bill claims gnomes are too stupid to possess, and that he cant possess babies because they lack object permanence. Yet he also claims he can possess animals and dead bodies.

You could write the gnome thing off as him just being mean to gnomes I suppose. Also that's from J3, which conflicts with the book of Bill in a number of ways anyway. But the idea that he needs his subjects to have object permanence comes from the Book of Bill itself, and it at the very least does conflict with the later idea that he can possess something dead.

ALSO, just remembered this now, on the page with the rats Bill remarks its not easy to have possessed "so many" rats. But later on the zombie page we're to believe he'd been actively possessing a "hoarde" of zombies at once.

These can't all be true at the same time, so he has to be lying somewhere.

Gin was seated by the window, his back to you, one arm propped on the sill as he stared outside. The faint glow of the rain-streaked glass softened the sharp lines of his profile, casting him in a light that made your chest ache. He was beautiful—effortlessly so, in a way that felt almost otherworldly.

There was something about him that had always drawn you in, like gravity tethering you to his orbit. He wasn’t the loudest, wasn’t the type to command attention with a word or a gesture, but he didn’t need to. His quiet presence spoke louder than words ever could, and it lingered long after he was gone.
