why do you think Silas in TFP chose the alias “Silas”? obvs his real name is Leland Bishop, so he decided to get a new cool villain name.

why “Silas” tho?

I feel like often baddies choose their names based on something/someone else, often some sort of mythology. even Megatron chose his name because of cybertronian mythology. but that doesn’t seem to be the case for Mr. Leland here.

I know later he changes it to CYLAS because he’s a nerd idiot and wants to be creative and have a funky lil acronym but I just wonder what the inspiration was for the original iteration

Love it when aa fanfictions authors expand the Steel Samurai lore. My favorite arc is the "Samurai Nunchakus hunt" arc. Season 5 was absolute trash. Magisteel is the OTP. The Pink Princess has amazing character development.

All I'm gonna say is there's ALOT of potential for a sequel, the story was so fast paced it kept throwing stuff out there and I'd love to learn more about Hell Maiden lore and the freaky bear (that was let go btw so opening for a sequel there) and also sister Helley's past with Manberg!!!!! Is Kat going to be trained by them both????? I'd love another movie where Kat has been trained and has to kick ass and we get to learn more about the lore and powers of Hell Maidens...

thinking about how aiglamene has a shitty bone prosthetic leg. notably, i'm thinking about the "shitty" part and what it implies. because you can't convince me that harrow wasn't capable of giving aiglamene a perfect replacement by the age of like. seven. nor can you convince me that harrow wouldn't offer, even if she disguises it as pragmatism. so that leaves the conclusion that aiglamene refused. and the best explanation for why she would do that is: that leg was made for her by a necromancer she cared about.

aiglamene is an old soldier, capable of teaching the rapier, and claims to have seen duels involving a cavalier primary in her youth. so. yeah basically what i'm saying here is that aiglamene was probably someone's cav. and there's a good chance her necro died in combat and made her that leg shortly before

Thinking about the Pokemon AU for a bit... It's a shame that it's technically a porcupine, and that it would have had evolved by now, but I can't get the thought of Riddle having (having had?) a Cyndaquil out of my mind. He wouldn't be complete without ONE Fire type, after all.

no, no, hold on, you're absolutely right, Riddle should have a Typhlosion. he needs a big firey pokemon that erupts whenever it gets mad but is also very soft and likes being petted! it and Roserade are best friends and they play catch with Togedemaru! it probably keeps accidentally melting Trey's Alcremie and always feels terrible about it! this is perfect

as for Che'nya, I thought about Meowstic for a while...but then I read Delcatty's pokedex entries and, nope, there he was.
