i think my favorite part of IT chapter two is when eddie crashes his car. like it kind of has everything. eddie insane road rage <3. eddie being a bit of a dick "it's my job to assess risks", it has "i love you mommy" which makes me want to jump off a bridge. eddie gesturing wildly instead of holding onto the wheel. his stupid fucking "edward kaspbrak speaking" <3 the face he makes when he's talking to mike lol. like he's expecting the car display to change. "EDDIE! are you okay?" "yeah! i'm pretty good."

puss in boots last wish even more spoilers specificly about the wolf
Okay we need to talk more about death becuse my god was he executed so fucking good in there, the whistle of slowed cown round around the rosie (wich is a song about death you mind), the fact we see puss's green eyes reflect in his bloody eyes right after he rocked his shit at that bar, how his eyes go from red with black pupils to black with red/white pupils when lightning strikes how he is the first ever character (I think) to make a dreamworks character bleed and the fresh blood is accualy shown Everything, everything about him was done right Also in case you didn't notice Death is the only ever oponnent puss has ran away from in so much fear Like EVER
We need to talk about death and his writing his desing his voice him over all more becuse my good was it all executed so well
(also I don't know what it's called but I'm pretty sure there is a study where if you play a noise when someone feels a certain emotion and you replay that sound when nothings happending that someone will feel that emotion again and it was used here I'm almost sure But I might be wrong on that one)

Oh shit I completely forgot about Lost Johns cave fuck that shit is horrifying
I think only 2 serial fiction podcasts have ever actually made me breathe a little too fast. The other was Limetown which...the Napoleon episode fucked me up (only episode I ever had to pause for a few seconds), as well as just the concept in general. But Magnus Archives in addition to being overall the best complete podcast I have listened to had a couple of real getters individually. MAG-15 Lost Johns Cave is one.
"It meant me harm."
And then when they played the recording back and I realized what she was saying my entire body just got cold.
Like, the reason I consume horror content isn't actually because it frightens me. It almost never does. So when it does more than unnerve and thrill me, it's doing a very good job. Congrats Jonny Sims for doing it a good two or three times in Magnus Archives.
By the way, the cave is real.
Here's how you go in.
Goodnight!

we need more movies like Mad God. ugly, horrendous, brutal, beautiful, kinda slimy works of craftsmanship and passion that serve no purpose but to make you reexamine the nature of creativity, storytelling, and the human capacity for cruelty. we need passion projects from singular demented creators given unlimited time and budget to execute their whims because let me tell you. I can only rewatch Mad God so many times

what do you fucking mean that's how charlie dies. THAT'S HOW CHARLIE DIES??? i mean i know the show has a penchant for killing off every character who's not a winchester brother or an angel of thursday but good god. what the fuck. charlie was such a good and enjoyable recurring character, and she had such a fandom impact that i've seen, and she's only around for THREE SEASONS?? (sidebar: it's amazing she has the presence she does for only being around for a couple episodes in the long run!) but: was this necessary? and she just dies offscreen after her skills are utilized to progress the plot of decoding the book of the damned?? oh my god. what in the actual fuck. i'm finding myself getting genuinely very upset at her death. she did not fucking deserve that. and i can absolutely see why the fan response to her death is what it is now. completely fucking unjustified and throwaway and useless.
