Wait, people think Carver is the best TWDG villain?? I always thought he was basic as hell, and the fact that he was beefing with an 11-years old girl... Now Stranger on the other hand was great, he was super intimidating and off-putting and I was genuinely so scared he would hurt Clementine. I also liked Minnie for the same reasons (she was so creepy/off-putting), but I still think Stranger is the best villain bc he had a great setup while Minnie was kind of a secondary villain. But going back to Lilly/Carver, I also definitely prefer Lilly over Carver even though neither are my favorite... And now I'm kind of curious how you would rank the rest of the TWDG villains? 🤔

carver being the best villain is a sentiment ive heard for years 😭 im sure its coming from the "S2 is the best season" crowd tho which i also dont agree with 💀

the stranger is an effective villain. hes not exactly the typical villain type people expect. but hes very unsettling and him stalking clementine for who even knows how long through the walkie talkie is 🤢 he really makes me feel sick. she was using that talkie to deal with the loss of her parents, and this fucking creep took advantage of that so hard he was able to convince her to trust him. ugh he makes me feel so gross. and think of all the guilt clem must have about that situation. trusting this freak to help her find her parents, when if she had just stayed then lee wouldnt have gotten bit looking for her, and her parents were already dead the entire time anyway. oof. theres no way that isnt one of the biggest regrets of her life

carver is fine. i definitely think his character wouldve made more sense if they put kenny in that role instead. that way theres less "i am a grown man beefing with an 11 year old" and more "this is a child i helped look out for once, and im gonna make sure shes raised Right". but i agree that carver as he is is just over the top. overly villainous to the point of it being a little comical. like when villains are all tough like that my reaction is usually "god i WISH youd fucking kill me already so i dont have to hear your bullshit anymore do you know how GOOFY you sound??". if it was kenny in that role i definitely think they wouldve been able to tone it back a bit, and him "having a good side" wouldve been way more believable. as he is carver is kind of one note

joan.... definitely the weakest of the bunch. i dont really have much to say about her. david isnt even technically a villain but i definitely saw him as the better antagonist for the season. i mean hes definitely a villain in clems eyes. and is a constant semi-antagonist towards javi throughout the whole season. joans just kinda.. there.. doing things behind the scenes to cause conflict until the final confrontation. and then she can just disappear... okay

i like the way the antagonists work in S4. theres more of a discussion around what actually makes someone a villain and the difference between a person who fucked up and made (very horrible) mistakes, and a person who is straight up a threat. and i like that it connects back to the idea of lee and his murder of that senator. did he do something horrible? yes. did he destroy his relationship to his family? yes. does he regret what he did? i think so. and he definitely has guilt about his fucked up relationship with his wife. in S1 they mention how non-guilty people got sent to prison all the time. while lee is Definitely a murderer, we get to see over the season that hes a good guy who just wanted a family and in a moment of rage and betrayal did something he can never take back. this is why i never hated marlon. did he fuck up and do horrible things? of course. but he was a scared fucked up teen leading a group of other scared fucked up teens. he knows he fucked up, and continued fucking up to cover for his previous fuck ups lol. but he can be talked down. its a shame it ends the way it does, but i really like being able to teach aj the difference between people like marlon and people like lilly

lilly takes that kenny/carver idea and applies it to a clementine that has grown up and has been looking out for herself (and baby aj) for years now, instead of the 11 year old trying to figure shit out she was in S2. shes too old for lilly to be able to sway her in a way she couldve been more susceptible to in S2, and when lilly finally realizes this she just turns her attention to aj instead, seeing the potential in him (a potential clem does NOT want aj to live up to, wanting him to get to be a kid and not just a survivor, let alone a killer). lilly is fun because you can see in her that she WANTS clementine on her side, and throughout the season progressively realizes that its just never going to happen. both lilly AND clem come to the realization that this person they once considered family is beyond reason, their views too different, and so the fighting begins. their fight at the end of EP3 really feels like a "so its finally come to this" moment for both of them, their final fight. i always shoot her.

whats interesting about minnie is seeing her evolve from secondary antagonist in EP3 to straight up primary villain in EP4. the things shes done, the way shes been broken. she becomes her own downfall, seeing herself as someone beyond redemption. that this is just who she is now, its how things have to be. because if they didnt have to be this way? well then theres a lot more guilt she'd have to deal with. yelling at her in EP4 to just STOP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THIS ANYMORE but she has been changed (in her eyes) so irreparably that she cant see any other option. and she progressively sees clem as the one who fucked everything up for her, instead of accepting that it could all finally be OVER. after killing sophie, the delta was all she had left. it cant have all been for nothing. and so she blames clem for taking it all away from her, even tho clem is just trying to protect her family. the family that used to be minnies. and so in her rage she gets bit. something else that she couldve avoided. but shes just too lost to her own downward spiral, unable to be reasoned with. by that point she just wants it all to be Over. and she wants to take tenn with her so she can finally pretend things can all go back to the way they used to be. her, sophie, tenn, and their parents all together again, where no more bad things have to happen to them. shes super tragic and i love her for that. and i love how she holds this dark mirror up to clem. clem struggles to let go of her past too, and the guilt she has over the things shes done and people shes hurt. and that if she cant learn to let go and move on she could get lost to it the same way minnie did. theres a reason clem is so quick to accept her fate, but shes finally able to leave that guilt holding her to her past behind in that barn. and she returns to ericson a much happier and lighter person, so much weight finally lifted from her shoulders. its finally over for her too

so yeah. my fave villains are definitely the S4 ones due to their nuance and layers. then the stranger, then carver, then joan. if i had to put david on this list he'd probably be above carver. but thats mainly because he has more nuance than carver ever did

Changbin had been on tour for 2 months now. It was so difficult for both of you to deal with. What he didn’t know though, was that you had a surprise visit planned. All the guys were in on it.

They had been texting you non stop about how changbin had been pouting constantly, scrolling through pictures of you and complaining about how lonely he was. It felt like there was a thunder cloud hovering over him and anytime he smiled it was for a show or because you called.

You were packing your stuff as you got a call from him. You panicked for unknown reasons because unless you pointed your camera, specificaly at your suitcase, your room looked exactly the same.

You picked up the video call, ‘HEYYYY! YOU TOOK A WHOLE 5 RINGS TO PICK UP!! WHY?! HAVE I BEEN GONE TOO LONG? DO YOU NOT LOVE ME ANYMORE!?’ He threw out his wild theories and you couldn’t help but laugh.

‘It’s only been 2 months. Don’t worry, I still have faint memories of us together. Although… I think they’re fading…who are you?’ You said seriously and he gasped.

‘I KNEW IT! I’m gonna die alone oh my god…’

‘I’m the one losing memories, god, way to make your tour all about you.” You laughed.

He squinted at you, ‘you’re mean.’

‘I’m also one of your favourite people in the world. Did you call just to list off traits of mine?’

‘No. I miss you and your ungrateful ass,’ he pouted as he flopped back on his bed.

‘Don’t talk bad about my ass. It’s right there,’ you were walking out of your room when you tripped over your bag.

It peaked his interest, ‘you good? What did you trip over?’

‘You… forgot…how to walk..??’

‘Yeah, your face is so distracting and everything over the top of everything… My brain just couldn’t fathom anything else.’

This seemed to distract him and you guys talked about what had been going on recently. You managed to not fall face first somewhere after that and everything went well.

Your flight was 3 days later and you were so excited. You had told the guys to make sure changbin was distracted so he didn’t text or call you. The poor baby would think you were ignoring him.

When you landed, you rested up at the hotel you would be at temporary before their next concert. Your plan was to appear in the audience and he would look so surprised to see you. Then you would duck and make him think he imagined it.

It was mean but you would appear backstage so… no harm no foul.

Everything was going to plan and now you had seungmin walking you to a safe place to get some food before you went to the floor.

You met them all except changbin and it was so refreshing. You were just aching to hug changbin again. Although your wish came true when he walked past the room. He looked in, saw you and carried on walking because obviously he wasn’t expecting you to be there.

Jisung pushed you behind the sofa and sat in your place.

Changbin came charging back in, ‘Y/N???’

‘All these years together and I thought you knew my name,’ jisung fake cried. ‘After everything we’ve been through.’

Jeongin laughed, ‘he’s hallucinating again. God, you really can’t be away from them, can you?’

‘Codependency be like,’ hyunjin tacked on with a giggle.

Changbin sighed and side eyed the members as he left the room. ‘I’m not codependent… I just love them a lot. All your single, lonely asses can’t talk,’ he mumbled with a pout.

When he was definitely gone, Chan let you know the coast was clear. You stepped out with laughs, ‘shots fired! Damn.’

Hyunjin scowled at you, ‘Y/N shut up or so help me, I’ll call him back.’

You immediately stopped smiling and sobered up. You were about to say something but then you pretended to zip your mouth shut and gave him an overly big smile.

You spent a little more time eating then moved to go to the floor. With their help obviously, you didn’t want to accidentally run into changbin.

You were having fun, all the songs on this album were SO good. You made eye contact with changbin then he looked away but he looked back, frantically scanning the audience. You had ducked and he couldn’t find you again, he blinked a bunch, took a breath and moved away from that area.

You did this 2 more times and every time, he looked more and more confused. When the concert ended, you made your way to the security guard who would help you get backstage. It took you a little while to sift through the crowd but eventually, you made it.

As you got closer to their changing rooms, you could hear changbin talking.

‘I have no idea what’s wrong with me. I thought it was a wierd moment before but now… I actually keep seeing them everywhere. Like I could’ve sworn they were in the audience,’ you could hear him sniffling, ‘I wish I could go home… atleast for a bit.’

You knocked on the door and he opened the door. His jaw dropped as he stood there, staring at you.

‘Mail for a… ‘Changbin’? We have a package for a ‘Seo Changbin’,’ you said casually.

He turned and looked at everyone else, ‘you’re seeing this too right? They’re here? I’m not about to hug a mail man to death?’

Everyone laughed and yelled surprise. He turned around so fast and within a second, you were in a soul crushing hug.

‘I missed you too baby but I do need my ribs after this so…’ you wheezed as you lightly hugged him back. He loosened the hug with a quiet sorry.

After you had all calmed down, everyone laughed at how absolutely confused changbin looked on stage. He also apologised for calling them all lonely asses when jeongin reminded him.

It was a good day. You spent the next 2 weeks with them and loved every moment of it.

he's ecstatic; sage, omen, and jett are all supportive, save for the lighthearted teasing every once and a while by them and the others

the day of the premiere comes and he's bubbling on the red carpet, giving fist bumps and side hugs to his friends and colleagues that attended, the paparazzi going particularly crazy when he drapes his arm over yoru (he chalks it up as them being excited that yoru even came with his elusive persona)

the movie begins and phoenix is impressed. the plot flows well, it highlights aspects of his life and personality that's meaningful to him, and the acting is incredible! he doesn't even comment on the fact that every time movie him and movie yoru interact, the vibe of the scene changes in the smallest ways into something more...sentimental? oh, who cares, the movie is cool!

he doesn't even pay mind to the fact that when movie him was in peril, movie yoru had an entire scene of him rushing to the communication room, trying to reach him. he doesn't say anything when the end of the film comes near and they have a conversation with yoru hugging him. i mean, they're good friends beyond their public rivalry, he wishes that yoru actually hugged him during that time. this is such a nice homage to their friendsh—and they're kissing

phoenix feels heat rush up to his cheeks and ears as the tips of his hair flicker ever so slightly with sparks, turning immediately to yoru who's looking at him with the same unspoken "what the fuck"

jett is laughing her ass off and sage looks like a proud mother until her face falls when she realizes that the whole subplot probably isn't real and either 1.) phoenix and yoru's relationship just got outed or 2.) phoenix is Not Gay (the prior option sounds much more plausible to her)

the legion pr team has to physically stop phoenix from answering any interviews after the premiere. his face is plastered in the tabloids the very next day, the yorunix hashtag is trending everywhere, and thousands of dms are entering his social media accounts about how it's okay to be gay ("i know it's okay but are we gonna ignore the fact that they think i'm dating him???")

jett and sage are masters of deflection when asked about it, omen doesn't leave hq enough to be caught in an interview, and yoru himself is back to being too elusive for paparazzi to catch him...and poor phoenix is left to rethink his entire dynamic with one of his best friends

the rumors only die down after almost half a year of not entertaining questions about it, being ultimately overshadowed by another wave of seasonal "bisexual chamber" allegations (they are not allegations at all, chamber knows what he likes but god does he likes to see people speculate)

and hey, phoenix isn't mad anymore. it helped him discover a new part of himself, after all

- Ok realistically he’d have an A1 licence due to being 18 in Europe which restricts the bikes you can ride which is LAMEEEE!!

- In Czech you have to be 24 to get an A licence, meaning you can ride whatever. But idk that feels like too much of an age jump when everyone else is the same age

- Most other places make it so you have to be 21, so I’ll just use that instead. Levi can be 21 in this au

- I mean honestly I could just get rid of the motorcycle licence tier thing all together

- It’s a modern au but cmonnnn Funger universe does not give a fuck about its youth… but eh it’s whatever

- Prefers bikes around 600-800 cc. Fast !! But not exactly death wish fast…….. I mean kinda but still

- He just likes being able to accelerate fast, he doesn’t speed too much

- The top speed he’ll go is 150-170 km/h but Pav coaxes him in races to go faster

- His favourite and longest owned bike is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R… because she was the fastest Pav owned and he has a death wish

- He named her виктория (viktoria)

- She got into a crash so she’s been sitting in Abella’s shop while Pav saves up to fix her

- Takes his side mirrors off to lane split better

- Was a squid before Levi came around (squids are people who don’t wear protective gear) but still only wears heavy protective wear on night rides when he goes super fast

- During these night rides he so takes his license plate off lmaoooo

- Averages 200-300 km/h on the rides 💀

- Does a lotta bike tricks for fun too

- Served in the military for almost a decade and a half before having to retire for an unknown reason but still getting paid (ooooo mysterious)

- Does odd jobs here and there for extra cash

- But um don’t ask where he gets all the money for his bikes !!!!! He’s super cheap in every other aspect of his life

- Pav flirts with him constantly purely to try and get free drinks. Daan knows this and ignores him

- Marcoh works as the bouncer there (also a biker)

Abella

- local mechanic !!!! Pav’s go to when he can’t fix his bikes himself

- Pav will drop a completely totalled bike in her workshop and tell her to fix it and Abella will tell him to get the fuck out of her shop

- She also rides a motorcycle, I’m thinking a dirt bike of some kind?

- Definitely owns atleast a few different motorbikes though

- She’s an off road girlie at heart

- Pav smashed her side window clean off in a drive by after she didn’t let him pass her the road so she’s been trying to track him down for a while now

- just wanted to say her road rage is fucking terrible, you are scared for yours and other people’s lives if she’s behind the wheel

- Owns an occult shop and rips people off with stupid card readings

- O’saa hardly even runs the shop tbh, it’s mainly Marina doing it

Pav has a really good poker face. And Levi is autistic so he just believes everything he says, not a single shred of doubt… and Pav is like… in awe……. He knows he’s good at lying but he’s just… Confused at how fast Levi believes him.

Pav feels guilty for the first time in his life so he actually does pay Levi back

Pav going on and on abt how much he hates cops (he got a speeding fine) and Daan is getting sick of it so he pulls out a photo of Pav in the military. Pav turns his head and refuses to look at it. He is like totally silent and Daan keeps on trying to get him to look at it and he just turns away more and more… Don’t ask how Daan has that photo

1. What's your favorite Legendary Pokemon and why?

(I'm using these specific classifications as I answer your question)

So hot take but I don't really feel too strongly about most of the legendaries 💀 I seem to be more of a sub-legendary and mythical pokemon fan by happenstance, so I'm just gonna expand my response with them since I'm more interested in them.

Strictly Legendary:

I like Lugia and Mewtwo because of their respective movies, but I honestly think I'm most attached to Cosmog by a long shot. I don't have too much of an articulate answer behind as to why other than Gen 7 really nailed the landing with creating an attachment to the curious lil' thing and I love it so much :') I just love its personality, and would 100% love to keep it as a little pet and yell at it to get in the bag. xD

Sub-Legendary:

THIS THING. THIS THING GAVE ME HELL CATCHING IT IN MY FIRST D/P PLAYTHROUGH AND IT MADE ME WANT IT SOOOOOO BAD LOOOL

I really, really, really loved the concepts behind the lake trio and what they represented, and was particularly drawn to Mespirit at the time (although Uxie lowkey has the best cry). Nowadays the trio is almost neck-and-neck even, tbh.

I also have thoroughly enjoyed Ogerpon - she's the only legendary I've actually opted to use in my main team throughout all the gens because I got attached and didn't like the other grass pokemon options.

Blacephalon is also a weird take I can't explain. I love the chaos and variety of colors in its design. It just seems very chaotic and strange as is. OH, AND THE DOG TRIO FROM JOHTO. AND LATIOS AND LATIAS. GOD I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IN EVERY MEDIA.

Mythical:

OOOOH this one is VERY close because I love, love, love the mythicals apparently. Celebi's connection to time, the movie, THE GAMES, and the overall atmosphere behind it is just 110% my kind of personal aesthetic lmao. Like I'd love to have this little fairy are you kidding me???

Shaymin is a very very close second. I love how it has two forms and love its connection to nature. My connection to this pokemon in particular also grew because I associate it with the late memory of someone close to me who passed away. I think of them with this pokemon, so it holds an extra sentiment.

Otherwise I really really really also love Mew (fight me) and Jirachi is awesome because WISHES??? Bangers.

2. If you could Kieran any legendary (other than the Gen 9 legends), which would you give and why?

Lol you're so based for excluding the gen 9 mons, lets go.

Strictly Legendary:

Helloooo Gen 5 fans LMAO. I really feel like there's a lot of unspoken poetry between Kieran & the player with Reshiram/Zekrom parallels. I could honestly see Kieran holding either legendary relatively well from a symbolic standpoint, but Zekrom seems to fit him a bit more imo. He's quite motivated through his ideals to find a truth he wants to see - whether it be "the Ogre being misunderstood" before it was verified, his concepts for what makes a capable trainer and respectable or valued person, and his desires to prove himself. He gets a little too lost in his visions to the point where they cloud his perception and his judgement is ultimately soured; he's desperate to compete and externals it on the player, but in reality he's competing with the standard of an ideal he thinks he himself should be.

Sub Legendary:

I don't mean to pull too much from the lake trio with this post, but honestly, I feel like a lot of Kieran's journey and character arc can be summed up with his enduring willpower. Whether he's motivated through passion, spite and envy, or through his desire to correct his wrongdoings, Kieran really grows into his own because of how much he prioritizes his fire and determination.

Mythical:

Bit of an indescribable take for me but I'm oddly drawn to Marshadow for the mythicals - especially for Teal Mask Kieran. I think it just really symbolizes more of his timid dispositions and more gentle personality underneath everything his edgieness LOL, I guess? And there's something that speaks to me in terms of having him honor that side of him and learn to embrace it - especially alongside the other picks I listed.

THIS IS SO REAL. He’s only in like 2 episodes but god his voice is so attractive. Also, I’m such a sucker for a pregnant reader, idk, it’s a sweet trope.

Basic warnings since reader is pregnant. Light mention of vomit and stuff but as usual no Nsfw! Well, obviously a mention of being intimate since reader is pregnant.. and like yknow.

Jonathan’s never nessecarly been sentimental, not even twoards his significant other. While he's been open and a shoulder to cry on, he's never experienced the urge to cry himself. That doesn’t mean he’s never had other.. urges.

It doesn’t come as a complete shock (it does) when the news is initially broken. Of course he is happy, but he’s not sure how to express it. If anything, he’s outwardly acting as if this might be a slight issue.. which it is.

Hes thought of having kids with his partner, but given the life he leads that idea manifesting is slim to none. None of his goons are even aware of your existance, he’s keeped the very idea of him ever having a partner tucked away in their feeble minds. You’re too important for him to go around flaunting.

If you two weren’t married, expect him to push a very, very quiet wedding. One or two people, maybe a villian he trusts with this sort of information. He wants this kid, if you want it too.

He hires multiple at home nurses during the 8 months. He keeps them descreet, having them snuck in nearly everyday to assist you the more time goes by. He’s very much there by your side, noticiably not being seen as much by his goons. He can’t just stop doing what drives him, but he loves you too much for you not to be a big priority.

He’s a little more emotionally transparent during the pregnancy. He’s clingy, suprisingly, constantly holding onto you whenever you both are in proximity. Hes created something with you perminantly, you are his now, and of course he’s yours, so he’s pretty much ride or die by now. Not only that, but the fact you were so willingly intimate with him, given his profession and chemically scarred appearance.. he’s never finding another. You’re the only woman that could ever matter to him.

That being said, if he wasn’t already pushing you away from his ‘line of work’, he’s making sure you never even see a single vial of fear toxin. He’s not aware of the effect something such as that could have on you, espically in the state your in. He’s not sure what he would be able to do with himself if you got into an accident.

He’s by your side along with multiple at home nurses when you give birth, holding onto your hand the entire time and not even daring to flinch no matter how hard you squeeze it. He doesn’t have emotion in his voice as he attempts to soothe you, but he is.. happy.

Hes not emotionally distant as a father, but he doesn’t know how to handle children. He keeps basic precautions, such as keeping them away from his lab equipment and fear toxin, but what if his baby is terrified of him?

He’s hired men,,, and payed them rather handsomely to help make a seperate room for the baby to you and his liking. He’s very communicative during this, although he is more driven by what makes you happy.

He can’t exactly play with a baby, either. His leg prohibits a lot of extensive movement, and he’s a bit of an older villian as it is. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to spend time with the kid, far from it. He’s still a villian through and through, but his crimes have gotten less extravagant with all the times he spends assisting you and his kid.

Batman even grows more leniant, noticing that he isn’t actually a terrible dad. He takes his time apprehending Jonathan, and even then he makes sure it’s a possibility for you and him to see eachother with your kid.

He’s not a fun dad, but he loves his kid and you through and through. He’d do anything to protect the both of you, you’re the only people truly connected to him, the only people he actually cares for.

just wanna say, i love your redesigns/reimagining of the HH characters. I have so many gripes about the OG designs, character development, and lore.

like some problems I have with the OG content, I think it would’ve been better if cuss words in heaven were replaced with similar sounding words like fudge (f-word).

(maybe adam could get a pass since he is the first ever human and God could have sentimental value about that.)

I also think the idea of God and Jesus existing in this universe would be really cool and there is a lot you can do with that. it would be impossible for Charlie to ever get a meeting directly with God, the closest she could talk to is the Thrones or Seraphim. God would be a character that is implied but never directly shown in the show, like an enigma and impossible to imagine. I would like to think heaven isn’t corrupt like hell is, but there are some issues with hypocrisy and what constitutes someone being good enough to be redeemed. because the idea that heaven is just like hell, really doesn’t work. it’s literally HEAVEN.

anyway sorry for the long rant i just wanted to share my ideas and express how i enjoy your designs.

It's been two seasons now.

Yep I still don't understand the point of her character at all.

Honestly the more time goes by the more I'm starting to realise Zoe is the Iris West of miraculous. A character introduced into the the story that you can just tell from the get go that the writers had no idea wtf to do with her.

Which sucks because unlike some people. I actually think Zoe was a great character to introduce into miraculous. The opposite of chloe and she's got her own story to tell. The platonic chemistry she creates with Plagg as well is so sweet and great.

(Hot take: Honestly they should have just let Zoe keep Plagg for a bit longer because I can't express how sick and tired I am of fucking Adrien and Marinette giving up their miraculous when they feel defeated. It was fine in the New York special but it quickly overstayed it's welcome and it holds no sentimental value at all to me anymore cause I know this shows writing and I know they will get it back in the same episode or an episode later. 😮‍💨 So if Zoe actually has chemistry and wants to fight side by side with Plagg and Scarabella to feel safe and wanted. MOTHERFUCKER LET HER! Let her do different shit and explore more with that! God knows the actual héros will just abandone their responsibility anyway and make their Kwamis hit the dusty trail to find a new holder all because of their fucking telenovela dramatic romantic depression or whatever the fuck.

(I cannot be bothered with the way the show is acting like Marinette and Adrien were always so in love with eachother even tho Adrien didn't feel that way about Marinette until season five. THE DAMN SEASON WE ARE IN RIGHT NOW! He literally simps so hard for ladybug in season 4 and not once had any romantic feelings for Marinette in the entirety of 4 seasons and two specials! Her romantic feelings on Marinette, she's Chloé's sister who still loves and believes in Chloe despite their differences. I mean dude the possibilities are endless.

But no instead they sideline her in her own focus episodes for no reason or only bring her out to be Visperia and barely do jackshit in the background.

God knows what happened to this. (The missed potential here will always annoy me so much.) This could have brought Chloe back to the light and made Zoe a much more interesting character to connect with at the same time. Chloe Exploring a secret nice bond with her sister to give her character layers (AGAIN) while still being consistent with her hatred for Ladybug after the events of seasons 3 while Zoe starts to notice Chloe's obsessiveness with Ladybug and what that's turning her sister into and that causes some distance between her and Zoe which starts to make Chloe truly think and realize how much more important Zoe is to her than the grudge she holds against ladybug that has only dragged her down deeper and made her lose herself and those close to her.

Instead they just make her another Chloe hater cause god knows we haven't had enough of those characters already.

But I did expect for us to atleast explore something with Zoe's sexuality instead of just dropping it on her like a dead gold fish in a tank as the fish sinks to the bottom of the tank cause we didn't feed it and did fuck all with it. Basically got the Julerose treatment. Like every other lgbtq+ MLB character who's not a milf or over the age of 30.

You know what? Chloe and Zoe actually do have something in common.

They're both characters with so many interesting pathways to be explored and taken in but the writers said "fuck that" and took them fucking knowhere even remotely interesting or memorable.

In conclusion. Zoe deserved better. She is a character that could have worked if the people behind this fucking show cared to make anything work. But no. Characters continue to be assassinated and/or sidelined and written out of the story.

But that's okay cause Marinette and Adrien go Smooch Smooch this season😘 and nothing else matters. Fuck the characters, fuck actual development with payoff. Nope. Kissy kissy and hand holding is all that matters.

finished this year's pride redraw woop woop! mostly the things i wanted to improve on this year were everything general polish because i think i nailed the composition last time. I was also doing an artstyle transition last year and I didn't shade it properly, so i fixed that lmao. another thing is that i made em look more excited, and made the posing a lot more dynamic- the previous felt very flat, like there wasn't a lot of interesting rotation of faces. oh and i actually drew tara's hair correctly this time. and i actually drew the flags correctly. and i actually added a background

this one was the transition to digital, so a lot got changed. i made the composition and silhouette SO much better, and the colors got to be more accurate. the faces are super ugly tho

you can tell there was improvement here but it kind of looks worse than the previous one 💀 like at least that was cute i don't know why i thought it was a good idea to have them, like, entangled in each other

objectively this one is pretty bad but honestly? it's super cute also, i like it for sentimental reasons obviously lol it's the first time i ever drew these two, and they're now my main ocs, so

Not dealing with all the film making jokes. A few of them were funny but overall they were just kinda annoying

The implication that Church thinks that Grif and Simmons would have sex in a closet

The emotional gut punch that is all of this being a simulation by church meaning he created a scenario where his friends grieve him and at the slightest hope of him being alive they immediately jump at the chance to save him

This makes Grif quitting even more painful

Tucker no longer has a ton of kids (I just personally never really liked this joke)

Not dealing with the way Sarge’s character was done dirty. This is not the same man who gave several of the best speeches in the whole series.

If everything post 13 is truly getting retconned the way it seems to be implied then I’ll actually be kinda sad to see this season go. It’s not bad! Could’ve definitely been a lot better but it had quite a bit of potential and some strong ideas and moments. Evil sim troopers is a fascinating idea and I wish they would’ve explored it more thoroughly.

alright so let's see if i got it right: i notice that in catholicism, there's this prevalent feeling of superiority? in a sense. that our way is the true way. the way we act and conduct ourselves, the way we pray and worship, etc. which naturally leads to a lot of judgement and even (hidden) disgust, even a lot of looking down to, towards others who do not lead a life similar to ours (a life of "virtue" by devoting oneself to only help and work in the service of others, by refusing help as it's a personal problem to be sorted between you and god, etc.) and do not practice the same religion ("worshipping the wrong god").

and evidently, when we come across people who inevitably are different than us, there's this sense of "oh they're lost little lambs who have strayed from god" kneejerk sentiment. that obviously we don't want to express aloud because it's not up to us to judge but up to god, so we just stay quiet and go along with it and smile and nod. it's all just:

and this whole thing can absolutely come off as patronising. where you just know there's silent and strong disapproval, and the fact that we're not saying it aloud makes it really uncomfortable and worse than if we had just said it out loud. and if we do say something, it's very… passive-aggressive.

p.s. i know we joke about catholic guilt all the time, but in my experience, there isn't a lot of conversations surrounding guilt. we place a lot more importance on repentance and contrition. dunno just wanted to added hahahahaha

Want to talk about the p.s. part because it is pretty important XD it's true that most importance is on repentance and contrition, but that's what makes Catholic guilt so yummy (and shitty to experience). "How the other siblings are feeling" probably traumatized ☠ neteyam the worst, i think. witnessing a person, your own sister's, moment of death i cannot imagine. if i ever write post-fic drabbles i would probably add him getting up randomly at night and standing over sister!reader to listen to her breathing (to see if she's breathing). its a very real trauma response and i think he'd do it too, just to soothe himself (im sad too. i know. why do i hurt this boy its jake who needs to be hurt)
