The U.S. syphilis epidemic slowed dramatically last year, gonorrhea cases fell and chlamydia cases remained below prepandemic levels, according to federal data released Tuesday. The numbers represented some good news about sexually transmitted diseases, which experienced some alarming increases in past years due to declining condom use, inadequate sex education, and reduced testing and treatment when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Last year, cases of the most infectious stages of syphilis fell 10% from the year before — the first substantial decline in more than two decades. Gonorrhea cases dropped 7%, marking a second straight year of decline and bringing the number below what it was in 2019.

Been back at it on STI based humanoid virus and bacteria. Held it off for a while as I struggled on the designs for the others.

not really osmosis jones fan oc in mind. More less inspired, but not really ment to be based within the setting and world of that kind of thing in mind. And definitely not going anime human like cells at work. I’m not fully sure if they’re a one off or not. But ngl I do like some of the designs so maybe? Idk

Chlamydia and Gonorrhea I’m satisfied with how they came out. But I’m still torn on the rest on the list. It is kinda funny people find them attractive. It’s like a siren but for getting freaky disease

It's always better to know for sure than than to live in the dark, because you can't treat an infection you don't know you have, after all.

Many STIs are asymptomatic when you first catch them, so it's important to check even if you don't have any symptoms.

There are many options available for getting tested, from visiting your local sexual health clinic or your doctor, to ordering (usually free) test kits online which come in discreet packaging. There's no reason not to! :)
