At Certain Strange Epochs
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Rebecca Solnit, and G.K. Chesterton: 'At Certain Strange Epochs'
[Video: Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, covering Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” in a 2009 concert appearance. I’m happy to find that they do not embarrass themselves at all — while the cover isn’t notably “original,” I wouldn’t have believed, until I saw and heard it, that any band could keep up with Grace Slick and the Airplane. As when I heard the song for the first time, the hair stood up on the back of my neck…]

Hiii, so I've been looking for fanifcs like Secrets and Masks for a very long. Like Hermione had been captured by the Dark Lord's army and sent to the Malfoy Manor. I would love it if Draco was also dark and powerful with angst and has to be a slow burn. It could be like they both are fighting and hating each other in the beginning. Especially, it has to be a HEA because my fragile heart can't bear it. I would love it if some of you all give some suggestions or recommendations.
Captured - HiraethsHome - M, 44 chapters, Words: 175,704 - Hermione will do anything to save those she loves, including giving herself over to the Death Eaters as prisoner. But when Draco abducts her in an effort to bait Harry Potter and return to the Dark Lord’s good graces, they’re both surprised to find that while neither can give the other what they want, maybe they’ll be able to find what they need.
Nightmares and Nocturnes By: olivieblake - M, 31 chapters, Words: 238,056 - A story per night to save her life. Dramione, dystopian post-war AU. HEA. COMPLETE.
Malfoy Manor gone wrong By: Miamii - T, 43 chapters, Words: 119,682 - Dobby’s rescue mission wasn’t as successful as one hoped. Ron can’t free Hermione before the Dark Lord arrives and has to flee without her. Hermione is left at Malfoy Manor with the Dark Lord and his absurd ideas of punishment for the Malfoys for Potters escape. This story follows the storyline of the book up till chapter “Malfoy Manor” in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Manor of Conception by psiphifan - E, 25 chapters - For not identifying Harry, Ron and Hermione at the manor when they are kidnapped by snatchers, Malfoy must serve his punishment in the strangest of ways. This shame will forever haunt him and the Malfoy name forever. The new relationship that develops is not what anyone expects, however.WARNING: Detailed depiction of rape in the second chapter. Please do not read if this bothers you. You have been warned (I hate to say it, but it’s been categorized as such.)

All I Need Chapter 3
Chapter 2 here
Warnings: Chapter based on the song, "Stars" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Character death. Lots of angst. I won't even lie, this chapter made me choke up while writing it.
******
After your brief conversation with Hizashi, you bolted out of the high school, got into your car, and sped to the hospital where your love was evidently at. You didn't even care how many laws you were breaking on the way there; you just needed to get there. You didn't even know what was happening, but the fact that Shouta said you should get there right now placed a sense of urgency in you. You arrived at the hospital in record time.
You parked your car, ran into the hospital, and went to the nearest nurses station asking where Mirai Sasaki's room was. The kind nurse pointed you in the direction of his room, and you ran faster than you ever have in your life. After what felt like a lifetime, you arrived at the hall where Mirai was at. You looked around desperately to see if you could find someone you knew, when you looked down the end of the hallway, and finally spotted Shouta, Toshinori, Recovery Girl, Izuku Midoriya, Mirio Togata, and Mirai's sidekicks from the Nighteye Agency, Bubble Girl and Centipeder.
Why were all of them standing in the hallway? Why weren't they in Mirai's room with him? You ran over to them, and asked right away what happened. Shouta was the first to speak up, "Y/N..." he trailed off. It was then that you really took notice of everyone around you; with the exception of Shouta, who just looked sad, everyone was crying. Shouta spoke up again, "Y/N...I'm so sorry..." he trailed off once again, gently placing his hand on your shoulder. "No," you said. "No..."
You ran into Mirai's room. All of the monitors were turned off, he wasn't breathing. He was gone.
"I lit a fire with the love you left behind.
And it burned wild and crept up the mountainside..."
You slowly walked up to his bedside. You knew he was gone, but you grabbed his hand anyway; it was still warm. He only died moments before you got there. You just missed him. You couldn't believe it, how unfair. What happened to him on the mission? Who killed him? He said people could get hurt, but he didn't mention anything about anyone dying. Why couldn't you have driven faster to the hospital? Why couldn't you be one of the people to say goodbye to him? You had so many questions swirling around in your brain.
Without even thinking, you crawled up into the hospital bed, laid next to him, and wrapped your arm around his chest and just started bawling. You couldn't stop; you were bawling to the point where you started hyperventilating. Shouta saw you, and suddenly came into the room, "Y/N, I know you're devastated, but you can't be here right now..." he said in his most gentle, yet monotone, voice. You snapped back, "I don't care, Shouta, I just want to be here with Mirai."
It was at that moment that everyone else also came into the room. Toshinori gently spoke up, "Y/N, they need to come in and do their jobs." Shouta piggybacked off that, "he's right, Y/N, there are things they need to do." You held Mirai even tighter, "I. Don't. Care. I just want to be here with him." It was then, of all people, that Mirio spoke up, even while he was still crying, "Miss L/N, you know the last thing he said to me before he died? He told me, and everyone else, to keep smiling, because society needs joy and laughter to bring on a brighter future. He would want that for you, too. You know how much he loved you." That made you cry even harder, and you clutched onto Mirai even tighter than you previously did
However, despite your all-consuming grief, Mirio made a fair point. It was at that point that your crying started to cease a little, and you could catch your breath. "That sounds exactly like something he would say, Mirio. He was your mentor, I hope you know how much he cared about you..." you trailed off. Mirio tearfully responded, "I know, Miss L/N. I know."
After seeing you calm down a bit, Shouta took this opportunity to pick you up from Mirai's side, carrying you bridal style to the nearest chair, where he just held you close and let you cry.
"I followed your ashes into outer space,
I can't look out the window, I can't look at this place..."
Shouta continued to sit there with you in his lap and let you cry. This was very uncharacteristic of him, but nevertheless, he let you lay there for as long as you needed to. Toshinori even came over and started gently stroking your hair. For one fleeting moment, despite your grief, you were so grateful for your friends.
"I can't look at the stars,
They make me wonder where you are,
Stars, up on heaven's boulevard,
And if I know you at all,
I know you've gone too far,
So I, I can't look at the stars."
******
Rest in peace, Sir Nighteye.
