Some sketches of random Pokémon. Not sure if I’m gonna have this as a main style going forward but they turned out decent.

Lol
Tumblr media
Name: Lol
Species: Wooper
Type: Water/Ground
Terra Type: Water
Breed: Standard
Sex: Male
Breed: Standard
Height: 6 in
Weight: 8 oz
Ability: Water Absorb
Moveset: Tail whip, Water gun
In this photo, Lol is trying to eat rocks, but I swear he's not dumb, he's just a baby. Because he's still a baby Wooper, he still has to stay in a freshwater tank. Once he grows in a couple of weeks, than you can let him out and walk around, but make sure you still give him a tank that has water and mud. For now he eats algae and tiny bugs. Of you're interested I'm adoption, reblog or reply your qualifications and reasoning for why.

Hey there! Semi-Experienced Trainer here. Could I maybe get some tips on how to care for a Garchomp. . . Specifically one that is considerably larger than a typical Garchomp. Please help, he is always so hungry. I'm running out of money to buy food for him.
Ah, okay
Garchomp Care Tips
Tumblr media
Before anyone does this; Make sure you are ready and experienced to have a Garchomp! Idk Anon's story, but I'm assuming they got him as a Garchomp. If you want to train one, it is a LOT better to catch them as a Gible. Garchomp are very hard to train and can be very aggressive. Other than that, if raised from a Gible, Garchomp are actually very sweet and non aggressive to those they care about.
-The entire Garchomp line prefers warm an dry climates. They really really don't like ice or cold weather. I know Garchomp live in Sinnoh, but Sinnoh has warm pockets that they reside in
-Garchomp need a large open space where they can run and fly around. While I guess you could keep them indoors, they're really big and could end up destroying a lot of things.
-Garchomp will hunt smaller pokemon they find, and will sometimes bring them as a gift to their trainer. This behavior can be trained out of them as a Gible, but if caught as a Garchomp, it's going to be a lot harder to train out
-They will bite their trainers as a way to show affection. Usually, it is very gentle, but sometimes it can cause harm. You can help them find other ways for them to show affection
-Male Garchomp tend to be more aggressive than female Garchomp and are harder to train. Please be weary of this!
-If your Garchomp is nursing, you might notice they become a lot more ageessive. Snapping, lashing out more, threatening to attack, etc. This is normal for Garchomp parents, and you should leave them to be (unless your brining them supplies)
-Garchomp shed their teeth a lot, do you'd have to do a lot of cleaning up to do
-This line is carnivorus, eating small birds and rodents, but sometimes even hunting larger mammals. Despite this, they seem to have an affinity for Yache berries
-They get very dirty from the dirt and need to be cleaned regularly. The dirt can seep under their scales which can harm them

Yamask Lore
Tumblr media
(Art by Knightlight9 on Deviantart)
The First Yamasks
Yamask originated in a region far east of Paldea. Early writing shows that they were referred to as “šwtba” which would refer to a spiritual shadow and a soul. For simplicity, I am still going to refer to them as Yamask. The writing also shows that the Yamask looked quite different. They were more bird-like and had almost entirely human masks, and almost always appeared after someone died.
Death Masks
A death mask is a mask of someone’s face that is made after they die. The practice originally came from this region. But the practice would appear in many cultures throughout different time periods, which is how Yamask were able to spread. Despite a lot of other Galarian forms of Pokemon, Yamask weren’t brought over here by colonization. Researchers still don’t know how or when they got here. They just appeared one day.
Galarian Yamask
The Yamask here couldn’t wear the masks because not many were made here. But you know what was made here a lot? Runes. These runes can be really similar to the masks, as many of the stone runes were made after someone died. These runes were super common and placed almost all throughout Galar, so it wasn’t difficult for Yamask to find them. A thing that I personally find cool is that they’re said to be the spirits of Vikings, which is why they carry around runes. Vikings made all sorts of rune stones after all. So the curses that the Pokedex mentions? Plenty of rune stones have references to curses if they’re not already cursed themselves.
