Ratoleon Development

For my group project I teamed up with Dan Tran-Cong to create Ratoleon. We initially had the name of Rapoleon but decided to change it to Ratoleon. Ratoleon is a stealth platformer where you must avoid being found by the patrolling guards and collect the cheese for the cheese collector. There will be many obstacles that the player will need to pass in order to collect all the cheese required.

Logo icon - 10 years

After discussing options for the actual text of our copy-led campaigns and considering the visual feel of 10 years, we decided to manipulate the icon.

Kriszta's idea was to rotate Bumble's icon and turn the lines into 10. She created an animation of this movement on Procreate, which we are planning to use in advertising on social media. This will also be supported with the 10 years clicking at the end.

I am a lot more pleased with these designs than with the ones that have big text on the images. These developments seem more visually striking. They link all of our ideas through both the visuals and text.

Group feedback on these:

they work really well as a pair, however need to be more strong on their own

the brief is looking for a copy led campaign and currently the images with illustrations are more striking than the text

need to work more on typography and hierarchy

we have a theme 'I can't believe I didn't get the ick', so should separate that from the main text

need to focus on 10 years a bit more

i'm losing my mind and i hate adhd. It's 3 am and i have a group project that's deadlined at 11 am. I am the only one who's not done. I told the others I'll handle what is left but I CAN'T. I LITERALLY CAN'T.

I did do half of them in a panic when it hit midnight but now my brain is refusing to finish. I hate it I want to cry. I want to do my school projects on time and not in panic/stress induced bursts at the last minute.

It's even worse because this is a groupproject meaning others' grades depend on me and they judge me. Not in a bad way, no we are friends and they are completely right to feel miffed I left it until it's due time. BUT I CAN'T DO IT. I HATE MY BRAIN.

I wish I was fucking normal, I am so sick of this bullshit.
