ok someone please correct me if i'm wrong but am i weird for thinking those 'audiobooks don't count as reading' posts are ableist as fuck????

#ramble #my first thought was like: how is this even a debate what about blind people. not every book comes in braille but MOST have an audiobook #or dyslexic people #you still enjoyed the book!! you still absorbed it!!! you got EXACTLY the same thing as people who read the words!!!#how does it not count????#i guess you miss out on the 'learning new vocab' you get through seeing the words but also #i don't really do audiobooks but i do a lot of podcasts esp fiction podcasts #and i have ABSOLUTELY picked up new stuff from there that helps with my writing #someone please explain how this is even an argument of COURSE it counts????#idk in my opinion finishing a book means 'i put the words in my brain and i thought about them and i enjoyed a story'#not 'i held a stack of paper in my hands for a bit'#i'm v lucky that i do have time to sit and read. and whenever i commute anywhere it's public transport so i CAN bring a book with me #but if i didn't have the free time or had to drive for hours everywhere i would be STOKED to still get to enjoy books #it's been REALLY bothering me lmao idk why i feel so strongly #for some reason it's giving the same energy as like. being told you can't take a comic or manga from the library bc it's not a 'real' book #of course it's a real book it's a story somebody wrote down #i can see this spiralling into 'if you have a kindle you aren't reading'. you have to sniff the paper. feel the papercuts

#im like three halo books in while i finish reach. i really like cortana and the chiefs relationship in them #like in the games and in the books is he very stoic? Yes. My intuition put Grace as the High Priestess, but from what I've read it's more about spirituality and intuition, while the Hierophant is all about strong traditional beliefs and ruling/leading, so it fits her way better! :D

Left side/Beginning has the dance cancellation sign, since that was her mission and Max was her first victim, while on the right/Ending is Jason and the Black Book, her mission and source of power has changed.

Halo= superiority, holy mission, Red as a sign of danger/death to come (which is why the light it's only on the boys)

Love that Ann and Ryuji both love food and bond w Akira over food…something about it is so sweet to me. The ramen shop, the crepes, the hotel buffet, the afternoon diner hangouts, the attic hotpot…Ann making the hotpot suggestion; Ryuji showing u his favorite hole in the wall restaurant…all the thieves enjoying the local restaurants and food in strikers; Akira making the leblanc curry and coffee for teammates, and Akira getting volunteer help to cook restorative food for the team….i just love it alot. Their a thing I tend to struggle with and it becomes mega annoying. It ends up with #me leaving something mostly done unfinished for weeks or months (as what happened in this case. ✨Dance among the stars✨

Rocky and Maura couple standee! ✨🌙✨

I was truly inspired by the official standees, and when the idea of making a couple standee came to my mind, i rolled up my sleeves and put all my skills into drawing it. It's the first time I drew something in vector and, actually, am proud of how it turned out. My husband @lansayn recreated the official Lackadaisy standee's base and made the starry sky in the background, and I plan to add a LED light into the bottom part, making it kind of a famous footlight thing. Overall it will be a shining standee. :3

We already sent the figure for printing - I'll show it to you once it arrives 💖
