The weather birds had said that a big storm was on the way at the end of the week – in fact they were calling it a "weather bomb", which Algy thought sounded most undesirable and unpleasant.

Concerned lest his favourite patch of snowdrops might fall victim to this bombing by the weather, Algy decided to inspect and encourage them while it was still calm. It was another dark grey day, but as he perched on the bare ground among the hardy flowers, a wee gleam of low light made them sparkle and shine in a most delightful way, and he was thrilled to see that in addition to the clumps that were flowering, there were many self-seeded baby snowdrop leaves pushing up through the soil beneath the bushes, to bring even more flowers in future years.

Of course snowdrops always reminded Algy of a famous poem by Wordsworth, but he could hardly agree that they were like an unbidden guest, for he waited eagerly for their appearance every year…

I haven't talked about my daughter in a while (Miri), so I will now proceed to do a general timeline of things she does in the Sitcom AU during each major arc.

(Was it ever agreed on what the first arc was called?)

She appears every so often at Alex's house, she and Clyde bond immediately and both make Alex so tired and miserable (dw, they eventually join in on the mischief after they and Clyde have more trust in each other).

She gets in on the loop about the Lankmann Foundation, the patients and Winfrey. Ready from minute one to come barging in and leaving 200 injured and 30 dead (Not yet, Miri).

World's Worst Road trip / The fugitive arc

Miri stays in Eastridge at first, due to being at her home, and she is SO Mad about the days after. She and her family get questioned by the police, since they had the most contact with Alex as far as they knew. Her parents buy into the narrative of Alex being a criminal, but did not know them enough to be helpful, it just makes Miri more annoyed hearing her parents trash talk about a person she cares for.

She goes out every day to tear up or vandalize wanted posters, gets to school only to hear her classmates whisper bad things about her friend (and sometimes her, but that does not bother her as much) and at night she locks herself up into her room, hoping that wherever Alex and Clyde went, they are safe.

At some point, she meets up with Clyde and prepares to run away with its help (She gets to meet Alex again too!) and then the three continue on their journey, running from the police and the foundation.

I have some fun ideas for when they are at Simon's barn, all I will say for now is that, Alex is used to Miriam's shenanigans, Clyde enables them and Simon is terrified for the safety of this child (The Flock likes her a lot).

The Asylum raid arc

I've seen both options of either Alex or Clyde being taken by the foundation as well as scenarios of them just breaking in, for the purposes of this, we have a kidnapped Alex.

Miri is devastated and FURIOUS, but Clyde HARD refuses to let her go to save them. She stays at the barn for approximately 10 minutes before booking it and going armed with a metal pipe she found.

The moment she enters, everything is already chaotic, but all she needs to know is: The masked men are the bad guys, hit them in the knees then on their heads. She goes feral and every caretaker she sees is on the ground unconscious or bleeding out after.

After the raid, Alex (human or veldigun, I am open to both options), Winfrey and all the patients and so on are saved. Everything is okay again.
