Shining Nikki - Void Stardust (Part I)

(Star Beyond Galaxy/Heart of Ruins and Guides of Star/Trails of Heart)

note: this was a request from @aquarion135 as a continuation for Star Sea. Since the event ran two sets and the story involves both I put the two sets together so it makes more sense. And since it got long this is part 1, part 2 will be the event story you can find it here

Void Stardust ran as the second anniversary event so there are a few promo images that tell about the designs. Although they basically say the same story as the clothing text I put both.

Guides of Star A time traveler explores the unknown, leaving a myriad of stars in her wake, seeking somewhere to call home. Where her eyes reach, she sees the cosmos, sees a frozen scene of all that is bright and beautiful In the world. Civilizations from different times and spaces converge like sparkling stars, forming grand constellations. The stars of creation shine bright, home to thousands of civilizations. Though ancient, they're guides to the future. She reaches through the loop of stars and captures a spark in the nebula, there she paints a picture for the stars. The rosy glow blooms betwixt her fingers as the starlight crosses the parallel tracks and pursues its destiny. The celestial beeps continue to echo after the apocalypse, like a dirge to the past, a prelude to the future. Is what awaits us tomorrow a whole new world or the collapse of the olden days? The shooting star flashes through the sky with its long tall. A fleeting moment, an everlasting memory. Under the grand, vast mask, the sea of stars has landed in her heart.

Trails of Heart The girl dashes up the stairs, letting her pink hair fly through distant echoes and all colors of the aurora. To explore the unknown and create endless beauty—that's what has always motivated her since the beginning. Even the gossamer wings of a butterfly can create a tornado. As the warmth of spring arrives in the void, flowers bloom. In history, humans created countless treasures. Civilizations were born and destroyed, but never completely died out. Specks of floating dust become tiny stars that dance and congregate, journeying on into the future. The distant starry skies are beautiful memories we all share, granting us the courage to continue chasing our dreams. Embrace the galaxy with a soft heart, and you just might touch the deepest void and feel the heartbeat of the stars. Remember the promise we made? To meet each other even at the end of the world, under the light of the newborn stars. The future offers countless possibilities. Don't fear failure, for you will one day reach the stars of hope.

Image Text: About [Star Beyond Galaxy] The Glow, also known as the "Human Civilization Survival Plan," witnessed the demise of a civilization from its very inception— the vast void of a black hole, like a gentle mother goddess, nurturing and encompassing everything, yet ultimately consuming all. Hence, the design of Star Beyond Galaxy, takes inspiration from that symbol of destruction, the black hole. She embodies a translucent texture, constructed from nothingness, submerging into the boundless darkness. Silver-white radiance converges, forming a solidifying vortex, containing the history and civilizations of the past. Her emergence is like a pure and inevitable coincidence, scientists' hopes to save this world, futile and powerless. Only she remains, bearing the name "Glow," patiently searching, amidst countless plans, computations, and failures, for the most perfect salvation project.

Star Beyond Galaxy She was born when civilization was devoured by the Black Hole and witnessed it all through countless failures. The dark night is made into a veil, through which a bright track pierces, seeking a potential future for civilization. This transparent body is formed by ephemeral stardust. Though resembling a human in appearance, it's in fact AI. Glow is composed of strings of shapeless codes, which have eventually evolved into a brand-new inorganic life form. Glow is born to save the civilization of Miraland, no matter what it takes. While Glow gazes into the icy, silent darkness, the darkness stares right back. In the deep space, untouched by human vision, countless stars perish in blasts of heavenly, mystic colors. Destruction is inescapable, inevitable. Despair is its only companion, for no one IS left to compose a requiem. The gravity pull between the stars is what formed the bright, vast milky way, floating amid the ethereal sea of planets. The milky glow forms starry swirls, while the star-kissed skirt forms the night sky, lighting up the way to the future. The silver stars, like countless converging times and spaces, will always end up on one exact spot. The results of all these calculations are no more than an endlessly looping Mobius strip.

Heart of Ruins She is formed by countless selves, sharing one consciousness. The universe is endlessly dark—and she's but a soft glow. As Glow went through her first evolution, she learned that her mission was to save the dying civilization. Glow and the pink-haired girl meet in different times and spaces. In the infinite timelines, hope always lives on. Extremely rare happenings are called miracles. Glow doesn't quite understand, but she'll never stop searching. Glow needs a living, sustainable civilization. Beauty and truth, on the other hand, are none of her concerns. Time is a harp string of the universe. With it, Glow captures every note of human civilization for her database. AI never despairs. No matter how many times she's failed, Glow is always patient and reasonable, and never gives up. Deep in the galaxy, Glow calculates in silence. She's the last hope for civilization, after all. Glow sent her final plea for help, hoping that the superior existences in the galaxy would respond, yet they didn't. Hello human, I am Glow. A Ruins researcher received a strange message. And that was how the project began…

“I’m a twin”, Damian said one night. He could feel the narrowed eyes of his family drilling holes on his back in disbelief. Not that he could blame them. Damian had never so much as implied being raised with a companion, much less a sibling.

“I had a brother”. Damian paused to recollect himself. He had not said his brother’s name out loud in over 8 years.

“His name was… Danyal”. Damian hated the way his voice wavered, but he could not help it. Danyal was everything to him, his other half. Their heart beat as one and when one heart stopped beating, the other one died with it. At least until his family put his heart on metaphorical life support without ever realizing.

“Where is he now?” His father asked, voice filled with knowing grief and a hint of betrayal. It had in fact been 6 years since Damian first showed up on his doorstep.

“Up there”. All eyes shifted towards the specific star he was pointing to. “Right before he died, he promised me he’d guide me from the stars. Unfortunately, the stars are not visible in Gotham, so my brother is unable to be of much help unless I leave the city.”

“Your brother is Polaris, the North Star?” Tim questioned warily, most likely in attempts to not offend him. Damian was aware of how stupid it sounded, but Danyal had promised, and his brother never broke his promises.

“Yes. Danyal is with the stars now, just as he always wanted”

I can’t find the post, but someone suggested that Clerk Carmine is the fiddler who makes it out of the 12 firebombing and to 13 where he plays at Finnick and Annie’s wedding and if that’s confirmed somewhere, it just gives me ALL the emotions.

You mean to tell me that Clerk Carmine, who was just a kid when Lucy Gray got reaped, lives all the way up through every single one of these books and makes it to 13 where he presumably survives to see the sun stop rising on the reaping?

He lost his brother, Billy Taupe to Snow when Snow shoots him in TBOSAS. He lost Lucy Gray to Snow, (whether he killed her or is responsible for the mayor coming down on her for Mayfair’s death leading to her leaving 12– either way she had a grave in the Covey cemetary). He lost Maude Ivory (Clare) (presumably when she gave birth to Lenore Dove), and then raised Lenore Dove like his own child. Only, of course, for Snow to kill Lenore Dove too. Did Barb Azure make it out? Did Tam Amber? Or is he the last of the true Covey?

He’s also the first person to bring the katniss plants to Snow’s attention. This is one of the ONLY district characters that we have known all the way through the saga. There’s a good chance that he was alive for every single one of the hunger games, that he’s one of the only ones who knows the entire history of district 12 since the first war. And, in the end, he LIVES. He lives, and he’s still playing music and carrying on the legacy of the Covey into the new sunrise. And I think THAT is extremely significant.
