Thinking abt trans hcs I don't think I've ever shared my favourites so. Here.

The most real and true one to me is Tasuku, Taichi, and Muku all being transmasc... Taichi looks up to Tasuku as someone cool and manly and Muku looks up to him as a "prince" and I think both those things become even sweeter if they're all trans :')

I think Madoka is untapped potential for xenogenders and neopronouns. Ignoring for a minute that JP pronouns don't really do that afaik. My rationale being: Madoka absolutely needs to do stuff that's quote unquote "cringe". I think it'd do cir a lot of good with how ci grew up to just make up something new for cleself. Yes I'm spitballing ci/cir/cle neopronouns I'm writing this at 11pm. Obviously this is also matching Sumi triangle neopronouns.

And most important actually is Guy gender... nonbinary Guy is a decently popular hc and I do sometimes get a little hmmm about it since it's obvious Why but. Well. Guy was raised as a robot, and everyone always acknowledges them as male, meaning they were also raised as a boy, meaning the presence of a perceived gender is not itself a human thing - or, at least, it isn't to them. The presence of "free will" is considered to be the defining difference between human and animal, and it's certainly the difference between human and robot. Questioning concepts like gender is one exertion of free will. If I had the brain power to think more deeply about it I'd love to write a fic about Guy questioning their gender as a humanising experience, as an example of autonomy... alas, this small paragraph is the best I can do, since this has been a thought for a couple years now.

Guy finds Hisoka asleep in the back room of Journey. It’s not any different from normal, but it still gives him pause for a second, wanting to watch him. A pause of admiration is as good a reason to take a break as anything else, so Guy steps closer and brushes the backs of his knuckles against Hisoka’s cheek.

Hisoka’s eyes flutter open, and Guy almost feels guilty—but Hisoka looks up at him, and all he feels is warmth filling up his chest.

During work, they don’t get to have moments like this. There’s too many other things to pay attention to, and though Guy treasures Hisoka’s company, he can’t watch at all times. He’s accepted that—or at least he tries to.

“...G’morning, Guy,” Hisoka says softly, sleepily, and Guy’s heart swells.

He’s not used to this kind of love, unfamiliar and new, but he cherishes it alongside every other emotion he’s fostered in his time at Mankai, with Hisoka.

“It’s not morning,” he says, leaning down to press a kiss against the top of Hisoka’s head. He pulls back and watches Hisoka’s eyes slip closed again, and can’t help but love that, too—Hisoka will keep resting, and Guy will keep looking after him.

“I don’t care,” Hisoka says, and his fingers wrap around Guy’s arm. “...Is the day almost over? I want to go home with you.”

To go home with Guy. It’s such a soft, simple thing, but it makes Guy want to linger here all the same. He puts his hand over Hisoka’s, feels his cold fingers and thinks that this is what makes his life here worthwhile. “We can go home soon,” he says with a small smile. “Until then, you can sleep more.”

Hisoka mumbles something that sounds almost like I love you as he falls back asleep.

⚙️He’s such a sucker for affection and your kisses always catch him off-guard, which always makes him so happy n blushy

⚙️and he rly wants to give that back but he’s so awkward about it

⚙️He wants to make sure you’re perfectly still so he can aim correctly and give you the perfect surprise kiss

⚙️And he definitely did it right, because you really didn’t know what was going on when you felt a light touch to your forehead until you looked up and found Guy right next to you

⚙️His kisses are very timid, but once he gets used to giving and receiving them, they become more frequent, but they’re still very special to him.

⚙️He cares so much about you, and, because of that, he wants to make sure he’s as gentle as possible so as not to hurt you by coming on too strong, which includes kisses

Rosehip tea: how romantic are they? how do they show affection?

⚙️He isn’t really affectionate at first, since this is his first romantic relationship

⚙️When you first started out, he went with things he’d see other couples do, which led to a lot of awkward situations where he thought he was showing affection well, but he just was doing things a bit more…uniquely(affectionate)

⚙️that’s not to say it wasn’t fun or adorable, though

⚙️For instance, he wanted to try taking you to a dessert shop and feed you a bite of his food, but he was so monotonous that you couldn’t help but giggle happily as you took the bite.

⚙️Later on, he found what his favorite ways of showing affection were through trial and error, and just by finding what you both liked the most.

⚙️He probably struggles with physical touch(even tho he loves it), and his affections lie in mostly in quality time, acts of service, and clunky words of affirmation

⚙️For example, he values having time with you every day where you can both relax and talk freely, where he gives you some food or you make some together

⚙️Along with that, sometimes he’ll just collapse on top of you or cling to you and you can just FEEL his body soften from its usual stiff position
