It’s Hamir time! 🔨

This guy went through a lot of changes since his first iteration. He started off a bit more of an Armadillo than Pangolin, had only a single 2h hammer, and was named “Armorus” early on.

At some point during gameplay/animation development of Hamir, I proposed that we give him two hammers instead of one so that I could keyframe a more unique move set from Artemis!

I'm not going to buy the DVD to confirm if this is true, but I've been informed that the MoM director's commentary confirms Hamir is dead. When Wanda pulled him into the Mirror Dimension? Yep, he died. I am so mad right now I can't even begin to imagine how they thought "you know what this movie needs? more dead poc!" Also, the recent Strange comics apparently retconned this, but Hamir was Wong's dad for a while in the comics and I'm upset Wong and Hamir never got to be father and son in the MCU

Oh man dear Nonny :( That really is a wasted opportunity. Having Hamir and Wong be father and son would have been a great way to show a family aside from the main character. Ever notice that no one in these movies have a family unless they’re the main star of that particular film? 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s so strange to me. Like show the families 🤣 But yeah, giving Wong a father would have been great. Someone he can confide in, and actually be affectionate too. I can see him being such a protective son too. It would have given him a chance to show his soft, gentle side. Not to mention give Hamir more of a prominent role.

I’d love it if he got a scene where Stephen realizes that they were father and son. Hamir’s always so chill and goes with the flow while Wong’s always planning ten steps ahead and barking orders like a drill sergeant 🤣 Like how do these two share the same blood? They’re polar opposites. And that in turn would open the discussion about Wong’s mom and other potential family members. Just more Wong lore pls 🙏🏻

The Actual Meaning of True Love's Kiss

Summary: Stephen gets cursed. It's fine, not a problem, easy fix, Tina explains. Everything he'll need is a "True Love's Kiss." It's not fine, very much a problem, and not easy at all. Thankfully Wong is in the same room and having a couple revelations of his own.

Technically I wrote this fic as a gift for @sanctum-stinker at the end of last year, but that's not going to stop me from posting it as my entry for the March prompt "acceptance" of the @yearoftheotpevent now that I actually can post it! (Especially since time to write is tight right now and I want to focus on Unity of Magic)

This is very very self-indulgent and I'm not even going to try and hide it. Especially since this is the first time I actually gathered the courage to tag Master Jio, who is a recurring OC of mine you'll know if you've read my other works.

Master Wong, I was wondering, how did you join the Mystic arts? Did you stumble upon it on accident or were you raised with magic growing up?

My family has been at Kamar-Taj for generations now. My father actually worked pretty closely with the Ancient One, our Sorcerer Supreme at the time. When I was old enough to decide, he gave me the choice to lead a ‘normal’ life outside of sorcery, or to train under the Sorcerer Supreme.

Now I’m the Sorcerer Supreme, so I’d like to think I made the right decision.
