As a person who wears hearing aids I really want to clear some mistakes that appears while writing deaf!clint :) (idk if that sentence makes any sense lol)

1. You can sleep with hearing aid, it's not that uncomfortable as you read in those fics. You can sleep comfortable because everything depends how your head is lying on a pillow. You can press your ear to the pillow and still sleep — but only if that weird noise doesn't bother you bc if it does, it can be uncomfortable. People (including me) don't sleep with them just because it is not Eco friendly. Like if you have hearing aid with batteries, you have to buy more of them bc usually batteries rest for a week when you turn off them at night and turn on at day. And if you have hearing aid that you have to charge — they last for only 21 hours and then you have to charge them. The best option is just charging hearing aid at night.

2. Technically there is no hearing aids for adults that have a fun color BUT if you have a small ear you can use the child one (well, you have to change the program and the child aid doesn't have that many options but it is a possibility). Also you can buy stickers for hearing aids to make them more unique :D

3. There is a lot of companies that makes hearing aids but the most popular are Phonak and Oticon. I have the Phonak one and I'm very happy with it.

4. They're fucking EXPENSIVE. In Poland one hearing aid is for like 6000 polish zloty (that's my mom's salary lol) but the goverment helps people with buying them so i didn't have pay 12000 polish zloty. I paid only like 2000 polish zloty for two? And my hearing aid ISN'T like the best quality — the best one is like for 12000 polish zloty for one hearing aid!!!!

5. There are two kinds of the part you out directly in your ear — one of them is totally build up and with the other one you can feel the wind in your ear (I have to admit that I almost cried when i felt the wind in my ears for the first time lol)

6. I've talked with other deaf people and we all agreed that when you are used to hearing aid, not wearing it can make you anxious. Like I wish I was joking but I'm not.

7. Fucking wind. Like when the day is very windy you don't hear anything bc of the wind.

8. If you are born deaf (just like me for example) there is a high possibility that for some people your voice will sound weird. Maybe bc your voice can be a little bit higher? Idk tbh.

9. Yes, we can meet ableism. There are people that think that they can be ableists bc they don't see the hearing aids.

Hello guys!!!

First of all, English is not my firts lenguage (i'm argentinian!) soo, forgive any spelling errors (all the English i know comes from vines, avengers cast interviews and ao3 fics, and my super sexy best friend who help me whit this xd)

Anyways, i drew a lot of Tim/Peter because i think they're really cute and i love them, but something i love even more is peter being Matt's adopted son

So from this au (idk how call it) Peter is the adoptive son of Matt (And Clint, bc in this Au Matt and Clint are married, i love HawkDevil) and for some reason Peter ends up in Gotham.

I love the idea of Peter being scared of Batman until he meets him (in his spider suit) and think "Oh, he's like a goth version of my dad" So he starts messing whit B cause its funny. And at the same time he meet Red Robin, and, well, he fall in love (and Tim to). He tells RR about he being from another universe and RR decide to help Peter to come home (and help him to messing with Bruce)

And in the other universe Matt is freaking out because his son desapear, and make it problem of all the defenders (and Frank)

I'll probably go into more detail in other posts but for now this is what I have about this au!

ALRIGHT BABES I HAVE AN EXCERPT FOR YALL,

its from my Christmas/everybody lives/post-endgame Ironstrange fanfic

I'm at a fork in the road, a place where i can go one direction with this story or i can go another direction with this yknow.

i need yall's help to decide if i should keep this in or not.

for context, Stephen lost his memory due to an incident that is tbd right now and him and tony are deciding who to invite to the Christmas party Tony wants to throw when something gets revealed

also before this they ended up getting all hot and bothered together iykwim. for like the first time lol i got tired of waiting for that scene so i just plopped it in before the Christmas party.

excerpt below the cut

“Uh, maybe Peter and Wade. We also couldn't go wrong with inviting Clint and Matt, i know Peter and Wade patrol with them sometimes.” he was having a hard time trying to figure out who to invite when he was so close to Stephen, they were torso to torso and Tony could feel everything. 

“Alright, you may have to enlighten me though, i know who Clint, Matt, and Wade are but who is Peter?” he asked Tony with a smile and he escaped the doctor’s grip. An unreadable expression on his face. Suddenly a chill filled the air. “Tony?” he asked softly. 

“You don't remember him, do you?” he laughed sadly. “Of course, that’s what this was about. The incident” he turned away from Stephen. 

“You’re scaring me, Tony, what about the incident? And what does this have anything to do with Peter?” he was so confused, did i do something to peter? Is that why he couldn't remember? 

“you’ve worked with him before, we’ve all fought with him. He died in the first war against Thanos. But you wouldn't remember his name or what he looked like because you’re the one who hexed him. None of them would besides Wade and me.” he explained, almost sadly. 

“Is that what you think the incident was? Me hexing this Peter guy.” he asked and tony nodded looking away from him. “Why wouldn't any of the others remember him? Why only you and Wade?” 

“Because I was off-world when you hexed him and Wade seems to be immune to that sort of thing.” he answered, that childlike joy that was there before was replaced with a sad understanding.

"he had called me, a week afterward. i didn't understand what the message was so i came back and you were there waiting for me on my doorstep." he took a deep breath "it all makes sense now."

"i've kept up tabs on him but its been dead air, i dont think he knows i remember who he is." he explained and Stephen, the more he tried to remember to add anything to the conversation besides silence the more the headache in the back of his head grew.

"i suppose that explains why i cant remember, and depending on the spell i used, which it sounds like a complicated one, explains why i feel so depleted. " he said after a minute, trying to rationalize the situation the best he could. "invite him to the party so i can meet him again, wade and him are together right? so that means we shouldn't separate them." he changed the subject, trying to make Tony feel less bad about a situation he (probably) couldn't control. "why don't we also invite Yelena and Kate, I've heard that they just got back from Russia." he added moving to sit next to Tony on his bed.

"okay." he agreed with a small smile, a little of the joyfulness returning. he could see it in his eyes....

Today I'm here to rec a cute little fic from @42donotpanic! This one's a rarepair, folks, (written for the DDE Rarepair Bang, in fact!) so if you love Clint Barton or Matt Murdock, check it out to see if you like them even better together! It's got some great environmental detail as it explores Matt's experiences in libraries as a space, and Matt is a bit of a flirt (as usual). I was really fascinated to see Clint as a civilian here, I think it totally changes the dynamic without the Avengers and their associated world-ending dangers, haha. It was a cozy, sweet story with a lot of introspection and some good ol fashioned boy-kissing. Plus, it has some lovely art by Iithril at the end!
