Now that I've seen the post I need to add my 2 cents. The thing is, the whole "She was born lucky etc.." phrase and Zuko internalizing the lie Ozai told him about Azula having never ever struggled and had it easy as opposed to him is that this is what Ozai wanted in order to separate them and isolate Azula. And it's false to the point it's funny. It's in Ozai's eyes where he lacks as a bender despite him sharing the same blood with Azula. He beat a whole ass general at 16 and is considered a very good bender(as through his own words when he wants to convince Aang to take him as a teacher). Both him and Azula are amazing benders and are born with a greater natural affinity to firebending than most firebenders.

The tragedy lies in the fact Ozai made him believe Azula was blessed by Agni when in reality she has more aptitude for bending than him and made him believe he's worth less than the dirt under his shows for that matter.
