Nirvanabased flags. "Nirvanabased refers to a headmate, sisasystem, or system that has a structure based in the 1987 grunge alternative rock band Nirvana. This label is not inherently an origin. It means Nirvana could affect headmates, their roles, functions, or other parts of how the system functions. Nirvanabased systems or sisasystems may be heavy in music-related introjects as well."

Nirvanagenic flags. "Nirvanagenic is a xeno-origin relating [metaphorically or literally] to the 1987 grunge alternative rock band Nirvana, the music of Nirvana, or the members of Nirvana."

Nirvanaorma flags. "Nirvanaorma is a variant of nirvanagenic referring specifically to headmate origin, using the -orma suffix."

Nirvanadawn flags. "Nirvanadawn is a variant of nirvanagenic referring specifically to sisasystem origin, using the -dawn suffix."

Nirvanaplex / Nirvana Plurplex flags. "Nirvanaplex (or Nirvana Plurplex) is a plurplex term which for systems and sisasystems affected by the 1987 grunge alternative rock band, Nirvana. Nirvana heavily affects the whole system's or sisasystem's identity in some way."

Hey, system originals and hosts--or whatever word you'd use. And anyone else who needs to hear it.

It's ok if you want to put your headmates first, before even IRL connections you have. It's not wrong. You're not "cringe". You're not evil or selfish or "worsening your condition" by default. You share your body with your headmates. Whether you view them as parts of your'self' or not, you share a singular form you all have to coexist inside of. People outside your body shouldn't get a say as to what you do with it.

It's ok if you want to do things for them that you wouldn't otherwise do with your life. It's ok if you need to make compromises together about what path you wanna take, and change up some life plans until you can all agree or at least be okay with them. It's ok if the closest connections to anyone you have are those within your own body. It's ok to not want to be close to people unless they accept everyone in your system.

You're not anti-recovery. You're not "giving up" your body to some evil parasite. You're not "throwing your life away because of an illness". You're not bad if you "make everything about your system" because those people are a part of your life as much as any other friend or partner or coworker, you should be able to talk about them.

If you want to make decisions about your body as a collective, please do. You can live a happy and fulfilling life, connected closely with your headmates and all being happy together. It doesn't have to be a struggle 24/7. There will be good days, there will be bad. You won't always agree easily. Things can be difficult, but you aren't wrong for wanting your system to be as big of a part in your life as you yourself are.

When a headmate is inspired by something or someone (likely while or around the time of forming, but does not have to be) in a way that they aren't that thing or individual but still feel connected to it.

Some non exclusive examples of this are,

A headmate that formed while the plural unit was fixated on FNAF, causing the headmate to be inspired by William afton, but not be him

A headmate of an original character that was inspired or influenced by pre-existing character or similar.

A headmate that first formed as a fictive that has since gotten to a (self determined) point where they feel that now the character only inspired them and who they are.

Hello systems, plurals, and multiples of all kinds!

We're looking for some interesting resources, information, and links to add to our document!

This doesn't have to be just scientific studies/research on endogenic and non-traumagenic systems!

We're looking for anything system-related of any kind that you find interesting. An article, some history, a blog post, a book, a study, an FAQ. Traumagenic, endogenic, willogenic, Tulpamancy, spiritual, psychological. Functional/healthy multiplicity, dissociation, disordered and non-disordered plurality, trauma, other disorders, alter/system types.

Dictionaries are great! Guides are great too! Explanations, videos, plural media recommendations (books/movies/shows/games), apps, a list of links that somebody else had made, anything.

If you think you have something to share, but it might be a bit too off-topic, share it anyway! Maybe there's a place for it somewhere :)

The document will still be focused on endogenic research and some information for the most part. But you never know what might help :)

known we were a system for about 7 years now, probably been a system for far longer, and just realised. we got an intrusive self-fakeclaiming thought today and laughed it away

#it does get better it does get easier eventually you will not fear being wrong or out of place #the thought felt like it just rolled away like a little creek washing over stones #it used to be a tsunami size wave that would throw us around and leave us feeling like we're not fitting in or even in the right place #and now we're just. solid and sturdy and the water's calmed to a tiny trickle #this is the first self-fakeclaiming thought we've had in i think months #and honestly probably only brought on by very new system members not being used to being alone in front #(it's rare for us. we're almost always cofronting. but sometimes it happens and it's so jarring)#rejecting the idea that we could possibly be faking this gives us this massive sense of wholeness like. this is who we are. and it's right #it feels right it feels like. we're real again. we're healing and able to learn. we're doing better. we feel whole like this #sharing this body with a million others will only ever bring us joy this is home this is love this is healing this is right #i love being plural #i love having a system #i love my headmates #we're so so close to hitting our real milestone of being functionally multiple #our challenge kinda. the goal we have to say Yes we feel we have functional multiplicity now #is to just. be able to connect all the sidesystems and have dormant people come back now and then and recover lost headmates #(TOBY WE *WILL* FIND YOU EVENTUALLY)#and it's starting! we've discovered people from BEFORE the syscovery we've brought back Blank and Ro multiple times #we talked to Bee once!!!! i had a headmate that would generally like. encourage me to be nice to myself/take care of myself a while ago but i habvent seen them in like forever so i guess im doing this shit alone huh . mental disorder that developed as a 'coping strategy' not actually helping me cope at all. fork found in kitchen

Our scries for our random fathoms (we got SO lucky with the girl, the boy was a bit harder to scry but I like his tropical colors)

And our anniversary hatch, who we just knew would make a great fathom. We wanted to do glowtail since it made her tail look like a big piece of kelp, but... we're already spending gems on the yellow one so we need to stop somewhere.
