Listen. I want Guillermo to have his hot vampire summer as much as the next guy. He deserves it. But one of the main points of the show is that vampires are just as human as we are. They are, inherently, Just Some Guy but with immortality and powers. Therefore, for true equality, Guillermo needs to be just as much of a cringefail loser vampire as the rest of the house.
