Baptiste knows more than anyone just how lucky he is. He escaped one of the most dangerous organizations around, and joined one of the best ones. He doesn't need people telling him about his luck, doesn't need anyone telling him about this impossible second chance he's been granted, but Cole is different — Cole is the one who let this chance happen, the one who brought Baptiste on board when others likely wouldn't have.

He looks to the man who some may call his savior, and offers him an understanding smile. "I will," Baptiste says, promise in his voice. "Overwatch? This is my home now." It's where he finally feels like he fits in, somewhere that he doesn't feel out of place or guilty of being in. "I never did thank you, Cole, for having faith in me. Trusting me." When no one else would.

There's a sense of belonging here — not just Overwatch, but also with Cole at his side.
