Small little mini rant because the Ozzie stan in me to but I really hate how people are using the 'Ozzie is the weakest Sin' excuse for him not doing anything during the trial.

Even if him coming to Blitzo's defense wouldn't change anything (and honestly, I agree with this point due to Satan's and the Ars Goetia's bias) he still understands the situation more than anyone in the room so yes, his word would have still held some weight even if the outcome would have been all the same regardless. This is a trial after all.

Also the 'weakest sin' excuse is still bullshit because he's still a Sin. A powerful demon! Is he as powerful as Lucifer or Satan? Likely not but he'd be on the same level as the rest and I refuse to believe otherwise.

If anything, 'weakest' shouldn't be viewed as power level more as morality level because let's be real, he's likely one of the more 'progressive' and 'nicest' of the Sins. Plus ya know, him dating an imp himself is likely looked down on by the others minus Bee. He may be respected by everyone but his peers, or at least the likes of Mammon and Satan and especially the Ars Goetia which he's also apart of I believe could be wrong.

It should be people viewing him as 'soft' as him being seen the 'weakest', not his power level or status

I already talked about my feelings about the trial itself here and I still stand by it. The whole court hearing was stupid af and made little sense. Also, why put IMP on trial now? The book thing was already dealt with so it's mute and Andrealphus gains nothing from it. Why are all the villains idiots in this show, it would have benefited him having Stolas on trial than anything else? But yeah I ranted about that already.

When I saw that post it literally reminded me of Brandon Roger’s skit. Except instead of a library he’s breaking into Hot topic, plastering IMP stickers and merchandise everywhere.

That aside, I’m not surprised that it is a Helluva Boss fan. Yes, it sucks that a fan did this but at the same time the Helluvaverse fandom/Standom and by extension Vivziepop already don’t have the best reputation for obvious reasons. 😭

And yes what the fan did was vandalism. The user, Juliet literally mentions that books were thrown everywhere. The librarians and the janitors are the ones forced to clean up not only the library but remove all the pictures and tape. The fans and Vivziepop’s associates should stop downplaying it/joking about it.

If I went to this school as a fan I would be embarrassed. People already get bullied just for wearing Helluva Boss merch publicly, this situation doesn’t help the fans’ case.

As for Vivziepop, I wish she made an actual response: condemning this behavior. I get it, she can’t control her fanbase’s actions and from the meme she posted, Vivziepop seems disappointed and tired. But at the same time, this is the same person who actively enables her stans on a daily basis.

If this was any other fandom, the Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel fans/stans would rightfully point it out and criticize (insert fandom) who did this.

I think this the perfect opportunity to talk about the fandom and Vivziepop. When it comes to the fandom/standom and Vivziepop, over the years especially with the release of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel it’s been slowly harder to tell the difference between the canon and fanon material.

Usually, the fandom and the creator are separate and you can at least differentiate them but the Helluvaverse fandom/standom and Vivziepop are always on the same wavelength and most of the material are almost the same.

It doesn’t help how Vivziepop can heavily inspired and influenced by both the Spindlehorse crew and her fans.

For example: 2 years ago an artist named Maria Quevedo made an animatic about Angel Dust using Paranoid DJs’ song. This is what the thumbnail looked like.

Flash forward 4 years later and look (it’s even in the background a Hazbin Hotel episode and in the playbill):

So it makes made me wonder, did Vivziepop see their work, contact them about, and commission them? Because Vivziepop does do a mix of stealing and putting fan related material in her official work (whether the original artist was involved or not). I can do more examples but we would be here all day.

If anyone is a fan of Maria Quevedo’s work and knows the context behind this Angel Dust piece please let me know because I know this isn’t a coincidence.

Make no mistake, Valentino is physically and verbally abusive and he treats Angel like garbage.

But I think the fandom is really underestimating the damage someone like Stolas can do. a sensitive abuser is way better at getting people on their side, because if they're crying then they must care, right? (even if that care is only about themselves)

if I were Blitzo on the receiving end of that argument in Apology Tour I'd feel like I was going insane because Stolas' framing of events is so warped

to claim he's never looked down on Blitzo (he has, all of s1) and Blitzo couldn't be bothered to help him (he sent his employees because his daughter needed a medical appointment) and that Striker is his "friend" (after his employees risked their lives fighting him to a standstill) and that he's been "trying so hard to support him" (y'know, by using his book to extort sex out of Blitzo, that's what support means now)?

and instead of ever considering if he's done something to make Blitzo feel the way he does, he just pouts and moans and plays the victim? and whenever he does consider if he's done something wrong it's always in internal monologue before he snaps right back to calling Blitzo an idiot or acting like he doesn't deserve Stolas' love

if it were me in that situation I'd want to scream. the extorting Blitzo for sex he did not want to have is dealbreakingly bad enough, but all the gaslighting that comes after? oof. It would seriously mess up my ability to trust anyone for a long time. I'd need a support network around me to point out how out of line Stolas is, not retroactively call the deal ending 'a breakup' and act like Stolas was an ex and not, essentially, an abusive boss (what do you know, the exact same way you could describe Valentino)

idk, besides feeling bewildered at Viv's writing choices and disgusted at the fandom for breaking out every victim blaming trick in the book to demonize Blitzo just to get Stolas off the hook (and Viv enabling it) I mostly just feel... sad

helluva could have been really great material that soft & sensitive does not equal nice and does not excuse abuse. it could have really shone a light on the way abrasive, hypersexual people like Blitzo are framed as culpable in their own abuse even when literally coerced at gunpoint into it

instead it's become one of those 'no longer satirizing the thing but just is the thing' type of media. and I honestly think that's the biggest letdown out of all of this. we have so many pernicious attitudes to dismantle and this show could helped do that for male, especially queer, victims of SA. instead it excuses it at best and romanticizes it and promotes victim blaming at worst

I find it so telling the only instance of SA in Helluva the show's remaining standom cares about is one line from Stella implying Stolas wasn't into having sex with her (sex she also did not want to have, but who cares about that, right?). what happens to Blitzo, then Moxxie being assaulted by Verosika & crew, and then Stolas making out with someone while drunk, plus Andre's creepy comments at Stella - that's all fine and not worth unpacking, because it can't be used to demonize one character while propping Stolas up

Easily Stolas. Ridiculously transparent, over the top abusers like Valentino definitely exist in real life, but when their victims call them out, people tend to believe it. Sad, conventionally attractive men employing DARVO techniques and sob stories are pure poison, and they have a tendency to get people on their side. Stolas is a testament to that, and it's genuinely terrifying.

Y’all, my Helluva rewrite only has one chapter and I’m already getting a bunch of people telling me that it sucks. No genuine feedback, just people telling me I shouldn’t even bother trying to rewrite Viv’s masterpiece and that I will never compare (exaggerating a bit, but they are saying that it’s worse than the show and blah blah blah). Like, I get it, I’m not a professional writer by any means, so it’s probably not great, but I literally say at the very beginning that I’m just rewriting it for my own fun and because I have a bunch of ideas. Vivzie’s standom really are the biggest Karens of fandoms, still making other communities look like saints. At least some of those toxic folks with standards and not take things too far. I rarely hear them being at this level of toxicity except for a few incidents like the time a Lila Rossi fan was bullied until she off herself… Someone saved the screenshots but the Twitter/X links are dead last time I checked.

Hey, you know it’s that bad when the Helluva critics have truckloads of evidence and testimonies from others about the wrongdoings of the standom and Vivziepop. I mean a lot of them were painful to see and read due to these people being stupid that they can’t take criticism to even criminal to the point of harassing others. But it’s real, not doctored. If this were a court case, y’all would be winning by a landslide and the stans would be sued for slander, misinformation, etc.

Compare that to other communities, it’s typically tame bc ppl can say criticize and not get harassed to suicide or deleting their online accounts/posts! Like, yes some shows have crisp art/animation and they have some criticism. But those critics weren’t harassed 24/7 or driven out. Ngl, there were times when I was tempted to say smth real nasty to a few ppl critiquing some of my favorite franchises… Then I reminded myself that I would never sink myself to the standom’s levels of pathetic. You know what any mature person would do? Block and filter.

I genuinely feel bad for innocent people wanting to say things. But they are so afraid of losing their friends and/or result in a social suicide aka reputation ruined online and in the real world… I think I saw stories of users breaking up w/ long time friends bc the latter were becoming brainwashed sheep of Vivziepop who refused to heed an ounce of criticism.

I’m an assuming person but my intuitions can be correct at times. These people will bitch and bemoan at the critics, going as far as to fight anyone who has the slightest critique. Go on, keep crying foul on Reddit or Twatter/X (compared to tumblr), some users have evidence of your shitty behavior. Like come on, why are y’all whining about your favorite things being critiqued? The shows are just fiction meant for entertainment and critiquing, not starting meaningless fights.

Well, that was a long rant but everyone, stand your ground and stay strong. If you know someone who’s a fan of a fictional media, gently remind them that opinions and criticism of said favorites won’t ruin their life. It’s just words, don’t take it to heart or as a genuine threat.

i’m a fan of helluva boss and my account literally has a pfp of blitzø and art of the show i made. my own fandom is calling me names and saying octavia should die in the new episode. all i did was make a post saying that i relate with octavia and want the best for her and for her to eventually escape both parents including stolas. people are so defensive of stolas they are telling me someone who relates with octavia and is in a similar situation as her that people like me should just die or deserve abuse for not letting their dad walk over them. im taking a break until people calm down because i dont feel welcome in my own fandom.

I am so so so sorry you are going through this. Fan or not, no one should be going through this for simply relating to a character for going through similar situations as Octavia. You are a person first and deserve to be respected and understood considering the pains you are dealing with.

Here are my mediocre predictions:

- Stoliz censored sex scene.

- the most stalest love triangle known on earth and Hell: Vassago/Blitzø/Stolas.

- Stolas singing and crying about Blitzø, Vassago, and Octavia. The usual.

- Stoliz kiss scene.

- Vassago and Stolas kiss, Stolas regrets it later on.

- Octavia being unhappy, missing Stolas, and realized her mistake.

- The standom still hating on Octavia and hope she dies.

- DHORKS kidnapped Stolas and use their pope army to overthrow Hell.

- DHORKS (agent 1 and 2) get killed. Government moves on and pretend that nothing happened.

- Humans on earth are still dumb.

-IMP never gets human disguises.

- Striker backstory of a blue blood similarly looking like Stolas who killed his friends and family.

- Striker and Stella become a thing.

- Striker kills Andrealphus.

- Cherubs end up homeless again and potentially trapped in Hell.

- Millie gets pregnant with twins.

- Crimson kidnap said babies and Moxxie finally takes the win.

- Millie and Moxxie have an argument and Moxxie is like “we are lethal team, we do everything together, and I love you.” Convincing Millie to have kids.

- Barbie Wire makes a return somehow and Blitzø talk about the past and pisses off.

- Oh yeah, the Stella backstory but the stans still hate her and focus on Stolas.

- Stella’s backstory isn’t really a backstory but like a compilation video, acting the audience knew what they were getting into.

- Seven Deadly sins with celebrity voice actors.

- Bel and Leviathan are chill and have a musical number.

- Glitz/Glam are secretly the daughters of Leviathan.

- Mammon/Striker/Crimson/Stella team up.

- The status quo reset and IMP goes back to killing people.

- Buckzo (Blitzø’s father) returns; Blitzø and him fight. Blitzø tells him, he ruined his life.

- More self loathing from Blitzø.

As someone who is both a fan of the series and a fan of bee as well as Mammon (while not condoning his actions because, work abuse is wrong), the double standards that standom has with plus sized people (and women in some cases) is fucking insane. LIKE, take Mimzy for example, a chubby woman that appeared in hazbin hotel......in one episode and then immediately she's gone, the standom basically treated her the same way they treat mammon and the other ladies in helluva boss.

That being awfully. And we also have Stella, another female character who is treated bad.. like yes, I agree, she is NOT a good person but denying that she isn't a victim to being forced to marry Stolas is a crime. do better
