Chan was over the moon, really. He was grabbing a shirt from his closet, since the only fresh out of the dryer one he had given to you. Slipping into a pair of sweats after, he hummed a tune, feeling happier and more relieved than he had in quite some time. Moving out had been stressful, finding this apartment had thankfully taken away a bit of that stress, but the process of getting everything from campus to here – still a task he definitely found hectic and wished to be over soon. During all this, he had gotten help from his friends, Haknyeon and Yohan, who were living in one of the dorms that hadn’t shut down. He had also kind of hoped for his older brother to maybe come and give him a hand, but sadly he had been too busy with his own nearing deadlines and a job he had to keep if he wanted to stay in that nice studio he rented. So, yes, Chan had been stressed and worn out and now he was just worn out but for the best reason he could think of. You. He smiled to himself, closing the door to his closet now and making his way out of his bedroom – only to see you standing next to his couch (god, he loved that couch) holding the family picture his mum had given him once he had moved out and into the dorms.
“Being nosy?” He grinned, his arms wrapping around you, cheek nuzzled against your neck. You would have probably dropped the picture if only you weren’t completely frozen in place. Your brain was working overtime right now, sorting thoughts, trying to remember if he had ever mentioned having a younger brother, if he had ever said something remotely close to having a younger brother.
Maybe this was funny. Maybe this was all hilarious and the best comedy ever produced, and you just didn’t get it. Maybe you should laugh about it and tell Chan that, hey, by the way, the guy next to you in this picture? I fucked him. Twice. Oh, and also sucked his dick. Just, you know, in case this mattered to you, Channie boy!
Instead, you said nothing. You stared at the picture and tried to make sense of it. Because as much as this might be funny for outsiders, to you this was the worst thing that could have possibly happened.
“Y/N?” Chan asked now, parting from you again only to put his hands on your shoulders and turn you around to face him. “Are you okay?”
“Why- who- who is this?” You pointed at the picture. Chan smiled again, his face literally lighting up and for a second you hoped he would say “ah that’s just this guy that happened to be at the photoshoot because my actual brother couldn’t make it and so we hired someone who looks a little bit like him”. He didn’t though.
“Oh, that? That’s my brother, Wonwoo, he’s a few years older than me and I think he goes to your university!”
“Right,” you swallowed the lump in your throat and cleared it after, pulling a hand through your hair as you slightly turned around to put the picture back where it belonged.
“Is everything-,”
“I know him,” you began. There was no point in lying, you figured, or just not telling him, because at one point Wonwoo would come and visit Chan and you would run into both at them by chance and- well, if you had the chance (and the courage that is) to make that situation just a tiny bit less awkward… you’d take it.
“You do?” Chan raised his eyebrows, clearly surprised. You nodded.
“Yeah. I joined his e-sports team at the beginning of the semester and-,” you took a deep breath, both of your hands rubbing over your face, “fuck, okay, I’ll just say it. Chan, I swear I had no idea who you were when I- when this happened, alright?”
“You’re beginning to worry me what is-,” he stopped mid sentence, almost as if he suddenly remembered something.
Judging by the way he now took a step back, with his eyes growing in size every passing second, you could very easily guess what he remembered. A part of you told you to feel bad, to have empathy for him, and for a second you contemplated giving in – only to remind yourself the next second that he couldn’t have known, and neither could you; this wasn’t anyone’s fault and instead of dwelling on and regretting this, you perhaps should just move on and act like it never happened.
“Chan?” You carefully said now, surprised at how calm you suddenly felt. Chan, on the other hand, was not calm.
“You’re her, aren’t you? The girl my brother so desperately wants but can’t have?” Your heart broke a little at that. Did he really have to say it this way? You pressed your lips together and, instead of trying to talk yourself out of the situation and his accusation, you simply nodded. Chan groaned, pulling both his hands through his hair.
“This can’t be happening,” he mumbled, starting to pace up and down the living room. How on earth could this be real? Him being so attracted to his new neighbour and wanting nothing more than to finally do exactly what you had just done, only for this new neighbour to be the girl Wonwoo had been pining after and crying about for the last eternity? It was almost laughable.
“Well, it is happening, Chan. But this doesn’t have to be a big deal, he doesn’t have to know.”
“Oh yeah, he can never find out about this!” Chan turned to look at you again. His face was red if from anger or disappointment or any other negative feeling you couldn’t quite say. All you knew was that he was on the same page as you and that would be enough for now.
“Good. Then I’ll get going now.” The man across from you only nodded, still distraught, and went into the kitchen leaving you to collect your clothes from the floor and finally flee the apartment down the hall and to your own.
-
This had not been your plan. Like ever again. You weren’t supposed to be here, in this familiar place with familiar hands all over you, a way too familiar cock in your mouth. It wasn’t supposed to have you dripping down your thighs, wanting nothing more than for that familiar cock in your mouth to soon fill your needy pussy and fuck you stupid.
And yet, here you were. On your knees in the office of your Friday lecturer’s office, Mingyu in front of you, his big cock down your throat, hips showing no mercy.
“Told you you’d come back crawling, princess,” he smirked, hands holding your head in place as he fucked down your damaged throat, “knew you would miss my cock splitting you open.”
If you had been in any other headspace you would have probably rolled your eyes because you definitely had not missed him - you had plenty other cock to choose from, but Friday lectures after a stressful week filled with avoiding your neighbor and your best friend and… just trying to somehow maintain a normal life when everything was severely fucked up… it had kind of lead to you wanting someone to take your mind off things. And when Mingyu had walked into the classroom, wearing that stupid sleeveless shirt and the stupid tight jeans, there was only one person you wanted to do the job.
So, there you were now. Choking on his perfect huge cock, your hands on his thighs, tears building up in your eyes as you stared up at his face, the cocky grin having you squeeze your thighs together.
“God, I missed how well you take my cock down your throat, Y/N. But I missed your pussy even more.”
Pulling his cock out of your mouth now, he had you lifted up and pressed against one of the many bookshelves seconds later, his mouth on yours, kissing you wildly. His tongue massaging yours as his one hand was on his cock, lining it up with your already bare pussy (he had literally torn your panties off the second you had stepped into the office with him) and the other grabbed your braless tit underneath your shirt.
“O-Oh, Mingyu, f-fuck,” you moaned against his lips when he pushed into you, his lips moving down to your neck, kissing and sucking on your senstive skin and you honestly wondered how on earth you survived all those hickeys you got left and right.
“Yeah, say my name, you fucking whore,” he groaned, bottoming out and kissing you again, even harsher this time. His hips began moving just as ruthless, books literally falling out from the shelf on impact, your moans getting caught by his mouth, his length feeling incredible inside of you, causing your walls to clench, squeeze him. Mingyu couldn’t help his own sounds, feeling too lucky to have you back around him, to feel your perfect pussy, to have your tit underneath his hand, your nipple in between his fingertips. Too many nights had he spent thinking of you, about how you tasted, how you sounded. And now he was back here, back in this office where it had all started.
“Cl-close!” you cried out and Mingyu licked your neck up to your earlobe, biting down on it before bringing his thumb to your clit and beginning to draw circles that made your head fall back and another book slip from the shelf.
“Fuck, are you gonna come this quickly for me? You like my cock that much?” Mingyu knew the answer, the cockiness in his voice still having you wrap your legs around him even tighter.
“Y-yes, I love your cock, f-fucks me so good!” you whined, sure that hearing these words would make Mingyu lose a part of his composure.
“Fuck, baby, yeah, told you no one can fuck you like me,” He couldn’t help himself anymore, his cock throbbing inside of you, twitching with every word you said, every sound you made. He changed the angle a bit, his hips thrusting up, hitting your sweet spot and making stars appear in front of your eyes. Your nails dug into his shoulders, mouth ripped open as more and more moans escaped you, saying his name like a mantra and finally feeling your orgasm hit you.
The waves of pleasure made your pussy almost vibrate, Mingyu biting into your neck as he came too, spurts of hot white cum shooting inside of you, making you feel so wonderfully full. He fucked you through both of your orgasms, perfect rhythm and all - until he stopped and parted from you, cock still buried deep inside. His eyes found yours and the cockiness had changed into something else. You gulped down the regret that already started to form.
“Missed you,” Mingyu then mumbled under his breath, his sweaty bangs falling into his forehead and you bit your lip, hand coming up to move them out of his face.
“Did you?” You asked and he nodded, both hands now resting on the backside of your thighs.
“I did, yeah.”
Nodding slowly, you softly pushed him away, giving him the sign to pull out and drop you back onto the floor. When you landed, you felt your combined releases beginning to spill down and Mingyu was quick to grab some paper towels and wipe them away.
“I thought after our last meeting you would be… well, you know, not my biggest fan.”
“Why? Because you fucked some of my friends? It’s a free world, Y/N, who would I be if I was mad at you for sleeping with people you want to sleep with?” He carefully got all of the cum wiped away, throwing the towels into the bin by the desk. His words had made your heart somewhat leap - this was definitely a different (and more mature) reaction than Seungcheol or Wonwoo had shown you. Clearing your throat, you pulled your dress back down your thighs, thanking him for cleaning you up in a small voice.
“I guess so. I just- I don’t know it’s all a mess,” you sighed and sat down on one of the chairs in front of the desk. Mingyu followed you, he himself tucked back into briefs and jeans too. Instead of sitting down, he leaned against the desk and crossed his arms, tilting his head as he looked down at you.
“I agree, it is messy. But it’s not your fault. I know Wonwoo said some shitty things to you, Y/N, and he was definitely wrong for saying them. But maybe cut him some slack - he is kind of in love with you after all.”
“He won’t be after he found out who I fucked a week ago,” you replied dryly, making Mingyu’s eyebrows shot up.
“Who did you fuck?” He asked and you sighed, leaning back in the chair and crossing one leg over the other.
“His little brother.”
“You fucked Channie?!” Mingyu’s jaw dropped. You laughed bitterly.
“Well, of course you know him, too. How unexpected.” You now also crossed your arms, looking up at Mingyu whose jaw was back in place, a small smile tugging on the corner of his lips.
“Of course I know Wonwoo’s younger brother, Y/N. He’s one of my closest friends.”
“Do you always fuck the girls your closest friends have feelings for?”
Perhaps that hadn’t been the right thing to say. The smile disappeared again, leaving room for a frown.
“Don’t do this, Y/N. Don’t push me away again because you’re scared. Do you really think I don’t know that all of this, all of the fucking around, is because of some sort of challenge you came up with?”
You sucked in a breath, frozen in place. Of all the things he could have said, you wouldn’t have thought this was one of them. For a moment you contemplated whether to deny all of it. That it wasn’t a challenge and you just liked to have sex with 13 different people in 6 months. But looking at him, seeing how he didn’t judge you, wasn’t mad at you, made you feel like you should be honest with him.
“How do you know?” You asked, your eyes never leaving his face. Mingyu shrugged.
“I kind of guessed. I asked around about you, after we met at the coffee shop. Most of the people I talked to said you were more quiet, even a relationship type of girl. At least until two years ago when you and Jiwoo started challenging each other to do stupid shit, approximately around the time a certain someone graduated and left you two with the knowledge he led both of you on. Does that ring a bell?”
You got up from the chair, the sound of it sliding over the floor making you flinch.
“Excuse me?”
“I get it, Y/N. He hurt you. He played you and your best friend. Graduated and then let you both know you were screwing the same guy. And instead of talking about it, you came up with challenges that would make you forget, that would get you to heal this wound he created.” Mingyu put his hands on your waist, eyes staring into yours. There once again wasn’t any judgment, just pure understanding. It scared you, the way he got it all so right.
“I’m guessing the challenge isn’t over yet?” He then continued and you nodded, throat dry and eyes somehow watering.
“No. I still have three more to go.”
Mingyu nodded, hand coming up to cup your chin.
“Then finish your challenge, Y/N. And if you want me, I’ll be waiting.”
Your heart did a leap again and your eyes widened. Did he just-
“Mingyu, I-,” you started, but he interrupted you by leaning down and kissing you. Softly and without any indication for more. He just kissed you. Lips slowly moving against yours, hand caressing your face. You felt your eyes closing, your hands almost automatically moving up to lay on his cheeks and suddenly you were the one indicating more. You pressed yourself against him, the need to be close to him suddenly so strong. He was right with what he said. You had been different back then, before you had been confronted by the man who had almost broken you and your best friend apart because he loved mind games that much. You had wanted to be with him but he had never called you his.
“Y/N…,” Mingyu breathed against your lips now, thumb stroking over your cheek.
“Don’t speak,” you whispered back, closing the small gap once more to kiss him and forget.

Soonyoung was on your apartment floor with several books spread around him. Even though he had wanted to study (after all his extravagant dance school in Europe did not exclude him from the sad reality of a student in South Korea), he had given up about thirty minutes ago, now scrolling on his phone while you were on your couch with your laptop propped on your lap. You hadn’t told him (or anyone) about what had happened with Mingyu yesterday. You also hadn’t returned any of Jiwoo’s calls the past three days, only texting her you were busy and would get back to her after the weekend. Truly, you were sure your best friend suspected something was up, but decided not to pester you about it (yet).
“Should we order some food?” Soonyoung said after a while of silence and you looked up from your screen and at him.
“Sure. What are you in the mood for?”
The two of you decided to go with a simple order of pizza, waiting only for around half an hour to now munch away on the delicious treat.
“So, what’s up with you, hm?” Soonyoung asked you, back propped against your coffee table, eyebrows raised. You almost choked on your pizza.
“With me? What do you mean?” You asked, trying your best to sound like your normal self. Soonyoung put his pizza down onto his carton and cleaned them on his black joggers.
“Well, you’ve been staring at your screen for two hours, not getting actual work done. And you’ve barely spoken a word. Also, Jiwoo told me you haven’t really talked to her all week,” Soonyoung looked truly worried, his head slightly tilted to the side. You suppressed a sigh. Of course Jiwoo had talked to him. She had found out about you two becoming close, not exactly jealous but slightly confused as to why you were avoiding her.
“Fine. Maybe something happened,” you pouted, sinking into your couch, laptop now discarded next to you. Soonyoung looked at you expectantly. Clearing your throat, you felt your heats cheek up.
“I might have… slept with Mingyu again.”
“What?!” Soonyoung’s eyes widened.
“And after he might have told me he knows about the challenge and is, uhm, waiting for me.”
Silence. Awkward silence. Soonyoung wasn’t even blinking as he stared at you, his mouth dropped. You weren’t surprised by this reaction in the slightest. Sighing, you threw your hands in the air.
“I know, okay?! I know I shouldn’t have slept with him, but I can’t exactly take it back now.”
“Truthfully I don’t really care about you fucking him again, Y/N, I am more concerned about him waiting for you. Does that mean he likes you?!”
“I guess so? God, I don’t know, Soonyoung. He didn’t… we didn’t talk much after that.”
Soonyoung deadpanned at you.
“Did you fuck again after?”
Instead of answering you took another bite from your pizza. Soonyoung fell to the floor dramatically.
“You are unbelievable, Y/N. I hope you’re aware.”
Oh yes, you definitely were.
-
Another day passed, and you sat at your living room table eating lunch. You hadn’t talked to Mingyu at all, even though he had texted you. A part of you wanted to forget about what had happened because considering your already confused feelings, this was the last thing you needed. A past fuck-buddy suddenly declaring he would wait for you to finish fucking three other guys. Sighing, you shoved your plate away, wondering if perhaps ignoring Jiwoo had been the wrong thing to do, when suddenly you felt your phone vibrate. It wasn’t a number you had saved and for a second you contemplated just not answering, but did it anyway.
“Hello?”
“Hello, Miss. It’s Lee Seokmin speaking, Choi Seungcheol’s assistant.”
You immediately got up from your chair. What the hell? Why was Seungcheol’s assistant calling you? A strange feeling appeared in your stomach and you tried to shake it off, your hand balling into a fist.
“What do you want?” You finally replied, hoping you didn’t sound too harsh. Seokmin on the other line looked over at the door to Seungcheol’s office, clearing his throat.
“Mr. Choi would like to send you a car to come pick you up and meet him at his office.”
You felt yourself starting to laugh. He wanted to do what? Send you a car? Meet you? Who the fuck did he think he was?
“Does he now? Well, you can tell Mr. Choi that I’m not interested in seeing him. Ever again!”
“Well, Mr. Choi did expect you to say that, Miss. He wanted me to inform you that the job he offered you is still on the table and would earn you 7 Million Won.”
The phone almost dropped out of your hand. 7 Million Won?! Was he out of his goddamn mind?! Anger filled you, anger towards him for thinking he could buy your forgiveness and towards yourself for actually considering the offer. It wasn’t like you desperately needed money, but 7 Million Won wasn’t something to just… turn down. You took a deep breath, contemplating your options.
“When?” You sat down on your couch.
“The car could be there in an hour.” You stood up again.
“An hour?!”
“Yes, Miss. If you’re not sure, we can also arrange a car to pick you up later.”
“N-no. An hour is fine.”
Hanging up the phone shortly after, you wondered how you always found yourself in situations like this. Maybe because you didn’t know how to say no. Or because you liked to suffer. Liked the thrill of getting into scenarios that were completely unpredictable.
Judging by the way you ran into your bedroom, eyes scanning over every item of clothing you owned, this situation had been caused by more than just you loving to do the unpredictable. You, or at least a sick part of you, wanted to see him. Even after that stunt he had pulled, you found yourself thinking of him. Missing him. Even yesterday when you had been with Mingyu a part of your subconscious had wondered if perhaps it should have been Cheol you went to for relief.
The car did show up an hour later. Anxiety spread through you as you walked to the elevator, knowing full well you were wearing sexy underwear under your pencil skirt and low cut, tight fitted, long sleeved shirt. You had dressed to impress and you hated yourself for it. Seungcheol shouldn’t be in your head anymore. You should be over him, should at least try to get over him. Instead you were here in some of your sexiest clothes on the way to see him, the driver nodding at you through the rearview mirror. You smiled with your lips pressed together, your hands tightly clasped together in your lap. Whatever was waiting for you at the office, the only thing you cared about was seeing him, maybe even touching him. Thinking about the last time you saw him, your thighs automatically pressed together. This was ridiculous, you were ridiculous. Wanting a man so obviously immature should be below you! He had taken your call while another woman was sucking him off! He was a child, a stupid, stupid child that did not deserve your infatuation. And yet.
The car stopped in front of one of the taller skyscrapers, the driver opening the door for you. Your breath was stuck in your throat, thanking the man with a small smile and a nod of your head. It was as if you had been ported back to your first date with Seungcheol. Arriving at the hotel, going inside. Seeing him. Just thinking about the elevator ride and what happened after dinner… you shivered as you walked through one of the revolving doors, your heart beating in your ears. Your bag was safely under your arm, and you hoped and prayed you didn’t look as nervous as you felt. Walking further inside, you saw a tall man standing at one of the automatic gates, his eyes glued to the iPad he was holding in one of his big hands. He was wearing a fitted pinstripe suit, a pair of round specs on his well defined sharp nose. His hair was styled upwards, only a few strands falling into his forehead and when you almost reached him, his head lifted and you looked into a pair of sparkling brown eyes that made you almost trip over your own feet.
“You must be Y/N. Welcome. I’m Lee Seokmin. It is a pleasure to meet you in person.” He bowed to you once and you quickly followed, trying to act as nonchalant as possible.
“You too, thanks.” You smiled when you were in an upright position again. Seokmin nodded once before reaching out his arm, leading you to the gate that now opened. Walking through it, you tried to somehow convince yourself that you were not extremely attracted to Seungcheol’s assistant. What was it with you and handsome men these days? Could you ever be around, let’s say, mediocre looking people that did not have your pussy flutter just by looking at them? Jesus.
“Mr. Choi is waiting for you upstairs. Please, after you.” The elevator doors opened and you thanked Seokmin once again, going inside. You watched as he pressed the highest number on the buttons, your eyes widening slightly before looking ahead. Perhaps you were confused about the family business - Jiwoo had never really mentioned what her parents did, nor what Seungcheol was working as. Instead of dwelling on it (maybe it was like Chandler in Friends or Barney in How I Met Your Mother and you just weren’t supposed to know what they did for a living) you waited for the elevator to arrive and finally stepped out when you reached your destination. You were greeted by a grand entryway, luxurious couches on both sides of the room, facing the windows showing the skyline of the city. Flowers stood in crystal vases on the glass tables in front of the couches and there were magazines spread around them. On the far right side stood a small reception where a blonde woman was talking on the phone, bowing her head at you and Seokmin when she spotted you.
“Please follow me.” Seokmin put his hand on the small of your back for just half a second, but you felt the spot burn nonetheless. Pathetic, really. You blew air into your cheeks, trying to get rid of the thoughts swarming your head. You had gotten laid literally less than 36 hours ago!
Seokmin led you through a hallway that eventually ended in big wooden doors he now opened. The light coming in through the window was beautiful. It made the whole room look friendly. There was a light brown, wood desk at the side, right next to the huge window. A chair stood behind and a fancy computer on top of it. Countless documents were stacked neatly next to the monitor and you guessed this was Seokmin’s space. You watched him walk to the other wooden door, knocking two times before opening it.
“Mr. Choi, she is here.”
You heard his voice only muffled. It still made goosebumps erupt all over. Quickly, you took a deep breath, closing your eyes for a second while Seokmin was still distracted. You brought back the phone call with him, the girl he had on his dick while he talked to you. Brought back how you had felt, the anger, the hurt. The crack in your heart for whatever reason. When you opened your eyes again, the nervousness had made room for just the anger you needed.
“You can go inside now.” Seokmin once again bowed his head and you smiled at him, before walking inside the office. The door closed behind you and the air inside the big office suddenly felt incredibly stiff.
There he stood. Suit, but the jacket discarded over the armchair in front of his grand desk. His first few buttons open, suspenders on his broad frame, somehow making him look even sexier than he already was. His hair was styled up, kind of like Seokmin, just a bit more neat. And his eyes were on you the second you had walked inside. His burning, deep brown eyes that almost made you forget all this anger inside of you.
Quickly, you let your eyes wander the room.
“We’re alone.” You said matter of factly and Seungcheol scoffed.
“Who else do you want here?” He asked, taking a few steps further into the room. You now also saw his tight dress pants, the way they hugged his thighs so perfectly. You swallowed, before looking back into his face sternly.
“I thought I was earning 7 million Won today?”
The corners of his lips twitched, a smirk making its way onto them.
“Right. The job. Well, I can’t just hire you without an interview first,” he explained, leaning against one of the armchairs placed on the left side of the room. There were two of them, right across from a couch of the same dark green velvet. You stared at him for a few seconds, the urge to yell at him so strong.
“An interview?” You repeated and he nodded, crossing his arms in front of his chest and god, how much you wanted to touch him, feel his pecks underneath your fingers, feel the way he breathed.
“Nothing gets handed to you these days, sweetheart.”
The word caught you off guard. Your thighs instinctively pressed together.
“You offered me this job, Seungcheol. Pretty sure that inquires no interview needed,” you shook your head, “I didn’t come here for games, if you won’t-”, but you didn’t get any further, because suddenly he was right there in your space, his breath almost hitting your cheek as his hands were firm on your waist. You felt yourself gasp, looking up into his handsome face.
“I can’t do this, Y/N,” his voice was just a whisper, a desperate whisper filled with so many emotions you felt like your head was about to fall off, “I can’t- fuck, I wanted to call you so many times.”
“Yeah? And would there have been a girl sitting on your cock while you did?” You somehow managed to sound venomous, even though you felt your panties stick to you, your pussy throbbing painfully. Cheol groaned, hands wandering to the small of your back and pushing you closer to him. You didn’t stop him even though you knew you should’ve.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N. I was immature. Jealous. Hearing Jiwoo telling me about you and the challenge… I was so mad. I felt used. And then it dawned on me that I wasn’t the first and most definitely not the last and, fuck, the jealousy drove me nearly mad. I wanted to get back at you, wanted to make you feel the way I did, but it was dumb, so, so dumb.”
While he spoke he came closer to you, his lips now pressed against your cheek, his fingers grabbing the fabric of your skirt. You clenched around nothing.
“Y-you took my call with another girl sucking your cock, Seungcheol, what the fuck were you thinking.” Without even really taking notice, your hands moved up, now on his biceps, digging into the dress shirt. He shook his head, lips now on your neck, not kissing you, just letting them glide over your skin, his nose breathing in your intoxicating scent.
“I know, baby, I know I did. Fuck, the truth is I had her waiting there the whole fucking day, hoping you’d call when my sister gave you my card. And when Seokmin told me you were on the line… I swear she was on my cock only as long as you stayed on the line, baby, I swear to you.”
Pathetic. Was what you should’ve been thinking. And a part of you was, a part of you wanted to push him away and tell him he was sick, but the bigger part stayed right there, letting his breath hit your skin, his hands roam, over your back and finally onto your ass, pushing you even closer, making you feel his hard length against you. And now there was no stopping the moan coming out of you. Right then he kissed you, his lips hot and wet on yours, desperation making both of you part your mouths, tongue finding tongue, a dance as crazy as you both felt erupting between them. Your hands tangled in his hair as he lifted you up, crashing into the next wall, making one of the (probably very expensive) paintings fall to the floor. Neither of you cared. Instead he kissed you harder, one hand now moving in between your legs, feeling your wet core, making him groan.
“Fuck, baby, so, so wet, so hot for Daddy, aren’t you?” You nodded rapidly, hands on his face, pulling him closer, kissing him again. Teeth and tongue and hotness, your head was filled with nothing but cotton and him.
“Shit, I missed you so much,” he breathed against your lips before continuing, his strong arms now carrying you over to the sideboard where he shoved down whatever was on there, placing you on it and getting rid of your panties immediately. He held them in his hand for a second, before he shoved them into his back pocket.
“God, fuck, pl-please fuck me, Daddy, need you so bad!” You cried out, your hands on his belt and he groaned, nodding the way you did before. He let you open his belt and pants and then proceeded to get out of them, his huge cock springing free a second later when his briefs were down by his ankles as well. You whimpered at the sight.
“Think you can take me, sweetheart?” He asked, hands on your face, kissing down your jaw and you wrapped your legs back around his waist, wanting nothing more than for him to fuck you senseless.
“Y-yes, need you to split me open with your huge cock, Daddy, pl-please.” Cheol sloppily kissed your neck, moaning at your words. He loved to hear you beg, loved to hear you call his cock huge, loved to hear you wanting him to fuck you. Quickly, he grabbed the base of his girth, lining it up with your tight cunt, his tip being sucked in immediately by your wet heat. You gasped, hands on his still clothed shoulders. He leaned his forehead against yours as he pushed in further, your cunt apparently still stretched open from Mingyu from the day prior, but you shook the thought off, instead moving your hips to meet him, your pussy taking even more of him now. His groan made your whole body shiver and once he bottomed out, he kissed you again, his tongue in your mouth immediately. It was still desperate, still hot, still crazy. When he did his first thrust your eyes rolled back into your head and the moan escaping you came from deep within.
“Fuck, y-yeah, your tight pussy takes my cock so well, such a good slut for Daddy, just for Daddy,” he murmured, lips sucking on your neck as he continues thrusting, the pain turning into pleasure real quick. You let your hips move with his, head leaned against the wall behind you, the sideboard banging on the floor with every move. Cheol felt like his cock had never been inside a pussy this good. His whole body shook, wanting to paint you white but also to never stop fucking you. Every time your walls clenched around him he felt a little closer to heaven, the sounds you were making more than just music to his ears.
“A-Am close, Daddy!” You cried out, fingernails digging into his shoulder blades and Seungcheol grabbed your thighs, changing the angle slightly.
“Are you gonna cum on Daddy’s cock, baby?” He thrusted even harder now and you basically screamed his name, nodding when suddenly you felt his thumb on your clit, stars appearing before your eyes as you felt your orgasm hit you almost out of the blue.
“F-fuck, Daddy, I- oh my god!” The orgasm made all of your vision go blurry and because he hadn’t finished yet he fucked you right into another one, his lips on yours, your arms tired around his neck, but the pleasure still so strong in your veins.
“Did so well for Daddy, such a good girl, gonna make Daddy cum with your perfect pussy,” his voice was shaking with lust and you clenched around him once again, bringing him even closer to the edge.
“P-Please cum inside me, Daddy, want you to breed me, want you to fill me up s-so good, want your cum so bad, a-ah!” It was almost like a spell, your words. Cheol’s orgasm hit him hard, spurts of thick white cum filling your spent pussy just as you hit your second orgasm, whiny moans making Seungcheol’s head spin.
“Fuck, you’re perfect, baby.”
His forehead was back to being pressed against yours, both of you only slowly coming down from your highs.
You felt his sweet kisses before you opened your eyes again. He kissed your cheek and your jaw, kissed your neck and moved up to kiss your lips again. Soft and with so many feelings you were almost sure you’d start crying any second. What had you done? Once again, you had crossed this line, had decided to put your friendship with Jiwoo on the line because what? You wanted some good dick?
Sighing inside of you, you knew that wasn’t true anymore. There was more to this and if you were smart enough, you would try to figure it out before you did anything else with anyone (read as: Mingyu).
“Cheol…” You didn’t know where the nickname came from, but it was now out in the open and when you opened your eyes and looked at him, saw the way his eyes sparkled, you felt your stomach and heart jump.
“Don’t say it, please,” he whispered, his hand softly caressing your cheek and you bit your lip, letting your own hands move up and cup his face.
“I won’t. I don’t have to.” You leaned in to kiss him again, his soft lips made for yours, and your heart was beating rapidly just as much as it was breaking.
Seungcheol had gotten you some paper-towels, helping you clean up and you were now seated on one of the green velvet armchairs, basically twiddling your thumbs waiting for him to come back from wherever he had gone after handing you the towels. You wanted to leave, or at least you thought you did. Leave and use the bathroom and don’t ever turn back.
When the door opened, you stood up, seeing him walk back inside. He looked at you once the door was closed.
“I know what you’re thinking, Y/N. And I respect your feelings, I truly do,” he walked over to you, stopping when he reached you. He was itching to touch you, but he also wanted to give you space.
“But the truth is, you never asked Jiwoo what she’d think about you and me. You just assumed she’d hate the idea.”
“I don’t even know what I think about you and me, Cheol.” You replied, a slight pain shooting through his heart.
“I don’t believe you.” He breathed and you sighed, shaking your head.
“It’s complicated, everything is just so fucking complicated.”
“It doesn’t have to be.”
Something in his tone made you look up again. There was a certain look in his eyes - a determination you hadn’t seen before. As much as it was hot it was making you nervous, too.
“What do you mean?” You carefully asked, crossing your arms.
“I mean that I took care of it for you. I respect and admire your will to finish the challenge you accepted. As much as I hate to think about you with another man, or in this case, several other men, I don’t want to make you feel as if I don’t respect your wishes.”
He now dared to put his hands on your shoulders, thumb caressing you over your shirt. You stayed silent, mainly because you had absolutely no idea where this was going. He took care of it for you? What the hell was that supposed to mean?
“What I am saying is, I found three men you can finish this challenge with. Men I trust, that I know won’t try anything with you after it’s done.”
Your jaw dropped and so did your arms. His words rang in your ears and still needed a while to be processed.
“You- you did what?!” you exhaled and Seungcheol nervously bit his lip.
“Look, I know this is weird, but the sooner you get this over with… the sooner you can tell if you want to be with me.”
You were truly speechless. Seungcheol had found you three men? To sleep with? You had to sit down. The plush armchair was perfect to catch your worn out frame. You shook your head.
“What the fuck? Where did you- what did you? What?” Looking back at him you watched as he now took a seat on the couch across from you. He folded his hands, arms laying over his thighs as he leaned forward, clearing his throat.
“I think it’s the best thing. You get this over with and you’re free from all of your drama, Y/N. Just think about it.”
“And who are these men?” Ignoring his words, you asked the next relevant question. Cheol licked his lips and looked over to the door. Then, with his voice loud and clear:
“Come in!”
You froze in place, watching the door open and two men stepping in. One of them was Seokmin, the other you hadn’t seen before - or you thought you hadn’t. The closer he came, the clearer you recognized him as the guy who had picked you up earlier. Your eyes widened.
“You already know Seokmin and Vernon. They are some of my most trustworthy employees. And I would say they are handsome enough for you to enjoy them. But, of course, it is up to you.”
This was ridiculous. But then, what about your life hadn’t been these days? Pressing your lips together, you looked from the two back to Seungcheol.
“That’s only two,” you stated the obvious. Cheol nodded.
“Well, yes. Jeonghan is still on a business trip. While Seokmin is my assistant and Vernon my personal driver, Jeonghan is my business partner. He has his office on the other side of the floor.”
He had really planned it all, through and through, as if it was one of his projects at work. Getting up, you began pacing back and forth, finally stopping and pointing at Seokmin and Vernon that still stood behind Cheol kind of awkwardly.
“You want me to fuck them?” You asked then, making Cheol clench his jaw. He followed you, also getting up.
“I want you to fuck them once. Once and never again.”
“Still. You would know I did it. Wouldn’t that bother you?”
“Why would it bother me? You’re an adult, Y/N, you can sleep with whoever you want.”
“Even your friends?”
“They aren’t my friends, they are my employees.”
“So you’re a pimp now?”
Cheol’s eyebrow twitched.
 “Y/N.”
You sigh audibly, throwing your hands in the air.
“I don’t know what to tell you, Seungcheol. This is absurd! You can’t just go and pick who I sleep with!”
“Didn’t Jiwoo do the same?”
“That is totally different and you know it.” You stretched out your index, pointing at him accusingly. He sighed, pulling a hand through his hair.
“I know what you’re thinking. And yeah, maybe this is a bit about controlling who you’re with before you make a definite decision about us. Perhaps this is selfish and wrong of me, fuck, it most definitely is. But I just need you to understand that I am serious about this, about you. I want to be with you, but I also don’t want you to give up your pride. I understand where you’re coming from, and as much as it may bother me I know this isn’t about me. Asking them to do this for me, to sleep with you, it wasn’t easy for me, and you can still say no, I won’t force you into this.”
With every word he said, you found yourself more and more torn. Because, yes, it was indeed selfish and controlling of him. But then again, if you just did this it would be over. You could continue your life and hope to somehow get back to where it was before the semester started. Swallowing down your doubts and anger, you finally breathed out.
“Fine. I’ll do it. But I hope you know this is not a certain yes that I want to be with you after the challenge is completed.”
“Yes. I know.” He dared to walk a few steps towards you, his eyes set on yours and, god, why was he so good looking? So pretty and yet so infuriating. You shook your head, not entirely sure what to do with yourself or the situation.
Seokmin and Vernon were still in the room with you and you shifted your gaze from Seungcheol to them.
“And you’re okay with this?” You asked, unsure. The two men nodded and you sighed, letting a hand run through your hair in distress. Great, they were on board at least. How exactly this was going to go though? You had no idea. Looking back at Cheol, you took a deep breath.
“You’re crazy, I hope you’re aware,” you said. Cheol smiled slightly, daring to softly caress your cheek.
“Crazy about you, darling.”
-
It had been a week. A full week since Seungcheol had told you that little plan of his and you had yet to hear from either of his “employees”. You found it ridiculous, considering you hadn’t even been a fan of the idea in the first place and now they couldn’t even be bothered to call you?
Coming out of your last class that Monday, your mind was already somewhere else (exams, that is) you almost missed the well dressed man leaning against his car outside the building. Only when he called your name, did you look up.
“Seokmin?” You asked, surprise displayed on your face. The handsome man nodded, his jaw a little tightened.
“We need to talk,” he said, opening the door of the passenger seat. You frowned, looking around before finally getting in, your bag safely stored between your legs. He had a nice car. A German brand, you noted. Seokmin got in on the driver’s side, closing his door and finally turning to you.
“So, uhm, what do we need to talk about?” Watching Seokmin, the way his knuckles turned white as he held onto the steering wheel a little too strong. His well fitted black suit strained around his thighs and you swallowed hard, wondering if he had picked you up to do what his boss asked of him.
“Vernon and I told Seungcheol we already slept together.” The words took a few seconds to reach your brain and once they did, your eyes widened and you sat up, one hand finding balance on the seat underneath you.
“You did what?!”
“We are going to the office right now and you need to tell him it’s true.” Seokmin turned to look at you, your mouth hanging open.
“We are… what? You expect me to lie to him?”
“Yes, that’s exactly it, smart girl.”
“Woah, no. I can’t lie to him, he will know I am!
The glint in his eyes made you flinch. While he seemed to be a proper young man, sweet on the outside, something slumbered inside him and you weren’t too keen on finding out what it was. If lying to Cheol made all of this go away - so be it. Perhaps he didn’t know you as well as you thought - perhaps he would buy it and you were free.
“What about the other one? Jeonghan?” You asked as you put your seatbelt on and Seokmin started the car.
“He’s in it too. Obviously he can’t say he had sex with you yet since he’s still on his business trip, but once he is back…” He began to drive off, your nod going unnoticed by him. While he drove, you allowed yourself to check him out a little more. Whilst you were sure that you wanted to avoid the inevitable complications it would bring if you were to sleep with him - it wasn’t like he wasn’t someone you’d consider if the circumstances were any different. He was tall and handsome, with a face shaped like a Greek gods. His black hair was styled upwards, once again only a few strands falling into his forehead. The little mole underneath his eye, right there on his cheek looking so endearing.
He drove the car in silence not mentioning if he saw you staring and you decided that not speaking to him would do you more good than not. Arriving at the office around ten minutes later, he held the door open for you and you thanked him with a nod, your bag back on your shoulder. You followed him inside, the now familiar entrance hall and elevators greeting you in their elegant demeanor just like last time. Just like back then you were extremely nervous, feeling sweat forming on your hands, your teeth continuously gnawing on your bottom lip. Seokmin and you entered the elevator and you tried to calm your beating heart. This was going to be fine. You had lied many times before - maybe not about something like this to someone you had a very… specific… relationship with, but… yeah. You gulped when the doors opened and Seokmin led you to where he had a week ago. Knocking on the door once, he then continued to open it, again letting you go ahead.
Seungcheol was leaning against his desk, hands holding onto its edge. Your eyes met his immediately and your stomach did a flip while the rest of your insides seemed to tighten uncomfortably.
“Very well, we’re all here.” He pushed himself off the table, hands now shoved into the pockets of his tight pants that made his thighs look extremely delicious. Only when you stopped staring at his legs did you register what he said. Your head moved to the side and you saw Vernon sitting on the armchair across from the couch, your eyes widening slightly.
“Seokmin, take a seat next to Vernon, won’t you.” Cheol said, but his eyes were locked on you. His assistant nodded and walked over to the driver, presenting him with a nod before taking his place on the other armchair. The second he was seated, Cheol walked over to you in three big steps, his arm wrapping around your middle and pulling you closer. You gasped at the sudden contact, hands finding Cheol’s chest.
“Tell me, darling, did you fuck them?” His eyes said something you couldn’t grasp and while your throat dried up, your head still somewhat knew how to function and nodded. The man holding you close clicked his tongue.
“Use your words, baby.” His grip around you tightened and you cursed yourself for feeling that right between your legs. Pressing your thighs together, you cleared your throat.
“Yes, I did.”
Seungcheol watched you closely, eyes roaming over your face, your neck and chest. He saw the mark he had left slightly fading and a small smile played on his lips.
“Is that right?” He mumbled, looking at Vernon and Seokmin for only a split second before his attention was back on you.
“Tell me then. Tell me what they did to you.”
The request caught you off guard. Seokmin and Vernon froze in their seats, not daring to look at each other. This had not been part of the plan. Seokmin tried to stay positive - neither he nor Vernon had given Seungcheol any details of your presumed nights together which meant you had full creative control. But then again, Seokmin thought, would he be okay listening to you sharing a story about how he fucked you? He shifted on his seat, his poker face staying even with his dick uncomfortably twitching inside his briefs.
Now, you looked over at the two men, not able to read anything in their blank faces. Fine, this was up to you then. Clearing your throat again, you looked back at Cheol.
“You sure?” You wanted to know. Seungcheol nodded, his arm still tightly wrapped around you.
“Fine,” you dropped your bag onto the floor, “Seokmin fucked me in the back of his car. Right about a day after your little presentation. He didn’t wait long, just pulled me onto the backseat, fingered me open for him and then took me from behind until he came.”
You were impressed with yourself, your voice didn’t go up higher, nor did you stop looking at him during any time of your little speech. Seungcheol’s face was unreadable.
“Did he make you cum?” He asked then. You shook your head.
“He watched as I finished myself off.”
Wherever that confidence came from - you weren’t sure. You didn’t notice the way Seokmin’s eyes narrowed or how he crossed his legs, didn’t notice how angry splashes of red appeared on his neck. He had watched you getting yourself off? Please, if anything he’d make you cum with his fingers, cock and mouth. He would never just come and then leave you to finish the job yourself. Still, he remained calm, leaning back in the chair and ignoring the images of you on the backseat of his car, of his cock repeatedly thrusting into you.
“Vernon?” Cheol continued then.
“It was in my apartment three days ago. I invited him over and we had dinner. We both wanted to get it over with, but also to have it be pleasurable nonetheless. So, we started making out and I eventually rode his cock till he came.”
Vernon felt his blood rush down south at that thought. Little did you or anyone else in this room know how far this was from anything that had happened to him in real life.
“Did he make you cum, baby?” Cheol asked, one hand now cupping your face. You shook your head.
“No. I finished myself off when he was gone.”
While it did hurt his pride a little bit, Vernon understood what you were doing. He still couldn’t help himself imagining what you’d look like with your fingers pounding into your cunt.
For a few seconds Cheol was quiet. Then, he chuckled lowly. Your heart dropped. Shit. He parted from you, cracking his neck once, twice, before looking over at his two employees, slash, friends.
“So, you two can’t even do this one thing for me?” He asked calmly, and Vernon and Seokmin got up, ready to defend themselves, when Seungcheol shook his head, holding up one of his big hands.
“Perhaps,” he began, “Perhaps, I need to show you what you missed out on.”
Your ears perked up at that, heat rising inside of you, gaze on Seungcheol’s back. Show them what they missed out on? When he turned around, his eyes full of fire, you felt yourself gasp. He had pulled you close again, his chest pressed against yours, head leaned forward, lips right by your ear.
“Liars get punished, baby,” he whispered, “should I fuck you right here in front of them? Give them a show?”
The small groan coming out of your mouth gave you away. Seungcheol kissed you then, hot and demanding, his tongue thrusting into your mouth from the get go. He let his hands roam over your body, shoving up your shirt and groping your tits, having you moan into his mouth as he finally picked you up and laid you down onto the couch, right into Seokmin and Vernon’s view.
“S-Sir, we- we can g-go,” Vernon stuttered, eyes glued to the way your shirt had risen up, showing your stomach and a little bit of your underboob and, god, Vernon was already hard.
“If you want to, go. But I doubt either of you wants to miss this, isn’t that right, darling?” Cheol smirked down at you, your face hot and your pussy throbbing for him already.
“Sit down and enjoy the show because I fear this is the closest you will get to this pussy, boys.”
Vernon plopped back down onto the armchair then, his mouth already hanging low while Seokmin was torn. A part of him wanted to stay, wanted to see you get railed, wanted to save the pictures for later when he was alone, imagining it was him instead of Seungcheol fucking you. Another part wanted to leave though. He definitely didn’t want to be part of Cheol’s sick game. He already did everything for that jerk, why the hell should he comply even now?
But the second he heard your moan, Seokmin found himself sitting back down. The sound went straight to his cock and he crossed his legs like he had before, trying to ignore how tight his pants were growing.
Cheol had moved between your legs, hands gripping your bare thighs, silently thanking you for wearing that skirt today. He pressed kisses onto your flesh, biting into it after, making you moan. Hands found your panties, pulling them down and inhaling your scent just then, licking his lips.
Dashing forward, he sunk his tongue into your folds, fingers still digging into your skin. Seeing red, you let your hands move to his head, nails almost hurting his scalp. You moaned out loud when his lips closed around your clit and a finger found its way into your tight heat.
“Tastes so fucking good,” Cheol mumbled loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, “bet you regret not being able to taste her pussy, isn’t that right?” He sucked your clit into his mouth again, tongue flicking against it in a fast rhythm and you arched your back, crying out his name. Cheol was wonderful with his mouth and fingers, maybe even deserved a medal for the way he coordinated his finger and tongue, how he licked into your hole and up your folds, how he devoured your bud as if it was a delicacy in a 5 star restaurant.
“Hear how wet she is? My little slut likes being watched, doesn’t she?” Cheol moved forward now, pressing two fingers into you and pumping them in and out at a fast pace. You gasped, hands on his biceps, holding on for dear life.
“D-Daddy!” you cried out and Cheol smirked, looking over at Seokmin and Vernon who were both staring at you.
“That’s right, cry out for me, baby.” He picked up the pace, licking his lips before he dipped down, kissing you again, more tongue and teeth than anything else. Your hips were chasing his movements, fingers digging into his muscular arms.
“Holy.” Vernon swallowed, his hand pressing down onto his crotch to get some kind of friction. His mind was racing, everything kind of a blur while his cock was getting harder with every second. Seokmin, meanwhile, was sitting quietly on his chair, eyes locked on you. He thrived on the way you arched your body, the way your face was pulled into a grimace, your mouth hanging open, eyes squeezed shut. He didn’t even try to control the erection in his pants, knowing well enough it was only going to get worse.
“Should I show them your pussy, baby? Do you want them to see how wet you are?” Seungcheol pulled his fingers out of you, your juices so visible on them for everyone to see. Vernon whimpered at the sight, while Seokmin stayed put. Your chest was heaving, watching how Cheol moved up again, letting his fingers sink into your mouth. You sucked them in, tongue swirling around them as if they were his cock. Cheol felt his dick twitch and he licked his lips, your taste forever the sweetest he had ever tasted.
He then moved you, having both your legs hang off the couch, spreading them for Seokmin and Vernon to see, both of them holding their breaths as they saw your needy cunt, the way you were dripping, your eyes wide and so full of lust Vernon couldn’t help but reach into his pants, palming himself over his boxers, eyes glued to your glistening folds.
“Look at that, looks like Vernon likes your pussy, baby. Bet he wishes he could be the one to do this, hm?” Cheol let three fingers push into you now, the stretch making you cry out in pleasure, holding onto the edge of the couch as your head fell backwards. The sounds it made, the way his fingers reached you right where you needed him to, pushed into that spot over and over again, your walls clenching around him more often than not.
“Yeah, look at how well that pretty pussy takes my fingers, such a good girl for Daddy,” Cheol mumbled more to himself than anyone else, even though he was still aware of the two other men in the room. He loved watching you come undone, loved the way you moaned, cried, whimpered  - every sound you made was like music to him. A symphony he could never grow tired of.
“D-Daddy, pl-please!” Your eyes were rolling back, your hips lifting off the couch, about to reach your high, stomach tightening - when Cheol pulled his fingers out and instead slapped down onto your clit having your body jerk and tears building up behind your eyes.
“I told you, liars need to be punished.” Without any warning, he grabbed your hips again, having you on all fours on the couch, his cock freed from his pants, pumping it once, twice, before slapping his free hand onto your asscheek. You moaned, almost losing balance and your eyes flew to the side when you heard Vernon moan again. His hand was inside his boxers now, jerking off without any control, hand flying up his cock in rapid movements. Seokmin was still not moving. Your eyes stayed on him even when Cheol rammed into you, his one hand on your hip, the other around your neck.
The eye contact made Seokmin question his sanity even more. Why the fuck would you look at him right now, why would you not close your eyes and enjoy Seungcheol fucking you? The moans that erupted your whole body as Seungcheol began thrusting made Seokmin almost come untouched. He balled his hands to fists, ignoring the urge to touch himself. You were still looking at him, your hair falling into your face as Seungcheol pulled you up, hand fully wrapped around your neck as he fucked into you hard and quick.
“Tell them how good I fuck you, baby.” Cheol groaned when you clenched around his length and you whimpered, eyes rolling back for a second.
“Y-you fuck me so good, Daddy.” Your voice was shaking with lust and pent up frustration and Seokmin felt himself twitch again, felt how close he was to release without even doing anything. Pathetic.
“That’s right. My little slut wants me to fill her up, isn’t that right? Wants her pussy full of cum.” His thrusts got faster as he spoke and you could only nod, eyes back to their original position - looking right at Seokmin. You couldn’t really say why you felt the need to look at him, maybe because you wanted to challenge him, make him touch himself. It reminded you of the time Seungkwan had watched you and Wonwoo in the library and how he had needed encouragement to touch himself. Right now you felt like there was more behind Seokmin’s actions, though. He knew he could touch himself, after all Vernon was going on himself like a horny teenager, but Seokmin didn’t want to. He wanted to prove a point. And you wanted to break him. You let another moan out, your hands moving to shove up your shirt, showing both of them your tits for the very first time, your hands massaging them harshly, thumb and index pinching your nipple. Cheol noticed, groaning as he changed the angle one more time, kneeling down with you on his lap, fucking up into you now.
“Putting on a show, aren’t you? Such a little whore, fuck.” Cheol took over your own task, massaging your tits as he fucked into you and you let your fingers spread your pussy, circling your clit as you let your head fall back, hips bouncing off Cheol’s lap now. Your cunt pulsated around him, his cock hitting your sweet spot with every single thrust and you were sure you were about to come.
“D-Daddy, a-am so close, c-can I please come?”
“You think you deserve to cum?” Cheol let out an evil chuckle, before pushing you off of him, his cock slipping out of your pussy, your orgasm once again denied. You almost fell of the couch, but Cheol caught you, turning you back around to face him. Then he pushed your head down, his cock slipping between your lips easily, a surprised gasp erupting you the same time as his cock slid down your throat.
“Told you already, liars get punished. That’s why those two aren’t allowed to touch you and you,” he thrusted up, a cough jerking your whole body and drool ran down Seungcheol’s shaft, “you don’t get to come on my cock or my fingers. Now, take Daddy’s cum like the good whore you are.”
He began to fuck your throat to the fullest now, tip being the only thing left in your mouth before he rammed his hips forward, repeating this motion until tears streamed down your face, your pussy throbbing from all the need and neglect, his cock finally pulling out of you - only to have his hot and thick cum land all over your face and neck, his moans of your name only making you needier. Cheol fell back into the cushions, his cock still in his hand.
“Good girl, such a good girl. Common, show us how good you can make yourself come, isn’t that what you did in your stories, too?”
Your eyes widened, realizing that you did this to yourself. Your head was cloudy, only thing on your mind was to release and so you didn’t wait any longer, leaning back on the couch, back hitting the armrest as you spread your legs, letting two fingers slip into you, while the other hand was squeezing your tit, back arching as your hips chased that sweet orgasm you earned for.
“Fuck, look at you. Such a good whore, so, so needy.” Cheol lazily stroked his softening cock, enjoying the view of you with his cum all over you, fucking yourself with your fingers.
Vernon, meanwhile, had finished into his boxers approximately around the same time as Cheol had shot his load onto your face. Now, he kind of regretted it. Seeing you like this, the way you fucked yourself, the way you whimpered, cried, tears mixing with the cum on your face, both dripping down your chin and onto your chest… he just continued jerking his cock, wondering if he could just come again.
And then there was Seokmin, still seated the same way as when this had begun, just that there was a very obvious bulge in his pants, hurting from how hard he was. He tried to steady his breathing, but he knew the second you started fucking yourself it was over for him. He was right.
Once you reached your high, the orgasm rushed over you with so much force you sobbed loudly, liquid shooting out of you as you rode out your orgasm on your fingers, whimpers and sobs continuing to fill the air. Seokmin moved, just slightly, and his cock came in contact with his pants, just a tiny bit of fraction. He moved and he came untouched, ropes of white filling his briefs as he felt his fingers dig into the armrest of his chair, his cock twitching over and over in his pants, his breath heavy.
“Good job, baby, did so well for Daddy.” Cheol was quick to pull you up, wipe away the cum and tears from your cheeks to instead feed them to you, your lips sucking on his digits with exhaustion.
“Oh fuck-,” Vernon’s eyes rolled back as another orgasm hit him, just a bit of cum shooting out his worn out cock and he fucked up into his fist three times before sinking into his chair, completely spent.
Cheol got you tissues, cleaning you up with care while Vernon had excused himself to the bathroom. Seokmin still hadn’t moved.
“This was okay, right?” Cheol whispered to you when you stood up, your clothes all back in place. You nodded, patting his cheek.
“Yeah. I like myself some good old voyeurism, Cheol,” you smiled, your tired bones yelling at you to go home.
“Do you still want me to fuck them?” You asked then and Cheol laughed, caressing the back of your head.
“Now, it is them who will want to fuck you, baby.”
Seokmin felt their eyes on him then, felt the way red crept onto his cheeks. He was wearing black, so maybe if he got up it wouldn’t be visible that he literally came without touching himself. Slowly, he raised from his chair, and watched how Cheol and your gazes wandered right to where he hoped they wouldn’t. While you felt your exhausted pussy clench, Seungcheol smirked cockily.
“Now, won’t you look at that? Our little Seokminnie came untouched. How cute.”
The words hit Seokmin deeper than they probably needed to. Clenching his jaw, Seokmin walked past you and Seungcheol, opening and slamming the door behind him to go to the bathroom and hopefully manage to clean himself up. How convenient he always had another suit hanging in the closet.
-
It had been five days. Five days that Seokmin had to live with his boss giving him that look. It’s like Seungcheol knew exactly how to get Seokmin to doubt himself. And perhaps that was true considering they had known each other since college. Seungcheol the big business major who then went abroad and Seokmin who was doing well and still somehow ended up being Seungcheol’s assistant. It wasn’t a bad job, more so the opposite. Or at least it had been for the longest time. Now, Seokmin wasn’t so sure. Was this still a good job he liked going to when all he could think about was you and how you looked spread open on that couch he had sat on countless of times before? All of that combined with Seungcheol’s knowing grin and the unspoken words that somehow still echoed in Seokmin’s mind whenever his superior walked by.
Every night since then Seokmin had laid in his bed with his cock fucking his fist, thinking about you. It was dirty and wrong and bad and yet he still did it. Did it every time his back hit his mattress. The images of you were burned into his brain and there was nothing he could do but hope it would be over sooner rather than later.
Work was fine, apart from that. He had a whole lot to do and was able to distract himself by going to meetings, driving across town to check up on the factory, by going to lunch with partners and finally by finishing reports that were actually Seungcheol’s job. Normally this was alright with him, Seokmin didn’t mind doing Seungcheol’s work, knowing exactly how busy he was. But today, five days after he had seen you split open by him, Seok felt very differently.
“I have this phone meeting now, don’t I?” Cheol came to a halt in front of Seokmin’s desk, holding a Starbucks coffee in his hand. Seokmin nodded.
“Yup.” He didn’t look up at his boss, instead continued to eye whatever was on his screen. Cheol snorted.
“You really gonna be like this, Seok? Common, it happened to all of us before. Coming in our pants, I mean,” the condescending smirk was back on his lips, “you know, when we’re teens.” While Seungcheol laughed at his own idiotic joke, Seokmin stayed quiet, ignoring him. Eventually the older man left to walk into his office and Seokmin was left alone again.
Looking at the bottom right of his screen he saw that Seungcheol entered said phone meeting and sighed in relief, leaning back in his chair. Seungcheol was going to be occupied for the next 45 minutes and that was really all he needed. Just a few minutes without fearing his boss to walk about and make him feel small. God, how badly he wanted to get back at him. But he hadn’t dared to call you, too embarrassed about what had happened. His thoughts wandered back to you, to the way you had held steady eye contact while Cheol had fucked you. He wondered why. Why you had done that, why you had chosen to look at him. Taking a deep breath, the assistant shook his head, about to go back to work, when he heard the wooden door opening, his head quickly moving to the side. There wasn’t anyone on the agenda for this time, not even for the spot in an hour so who-
You walked in just then, a white babydoll dress on your body, and Seokmin stood up, unsure what to make of your sudden appearance. Your pink painted lips turned into a smile.
“Hi.” Seokmin swallowed.
“Hello, Miss.”
You two stayed silent for a bit, before Seokmin cleared his throat and sat back down.
“How may I help you? I fear Mr. Choi is in a meeting right now.”
“I actually came to see you.”
Seokmin froze in his spot, feeling his hands cramp and his brain come up with the craziest scenarios.
“Why?” He only managed to reply, still not looking at you.
“Well, I wanted to ask you for coffee. I know Cheol is in a meeting. He told me earlier. And I thought we could… talk.”
Talk. Seokmin swallowed down the apple-sized lump in his throat. Talk. Did you really think he could talk to you? After what he had seen? After what you had done to him? He tried to calm himself by taking another breath.
“You want to talk? About what?” He was proud of himself for having his voice appear collected when he was anything but.
You shifted on your feet, your little purse hanging from both of your hands in front of your body.
“Uh, I don’t know. Just talk. I feel like maybe we got off on the wrong foot and-,” Seokmin stood up again, his chair making a rather unpleasant noise as it slid over the floor. You flinched, eyes widening.
“Got off on the wrong foot?” Seokmin walked around his table and stopped when he reached you. Now, he towered over you, making you feel small.
“Y/N, I needn’t remind you that we were never supposed to get off on any foot. Because of your lifestyle it just so happened my boss thought we should meet.”
You frowned. Your lifestyle?
“Excuse me?” Crossing your arms, you stared at Seokmin who stared right back. He tried to ignore the strong urge to look at your cleavage, to remember how they looked all naked and squeezed by your hand.
“I don’t want to grab coffee with you. Nor do I want to talk to you. About anything.”
“Really? Is that why you came untouched watching me pleasure myself?”
Your back slammed against the wall, the air leaving your lungs as Seokmin had you pinned against the concrete behind you.
“Say that again.” His voice was low and his arm on you made your knees weak.
Perhaps, if you were honest, you had kind of hoped this would happen. It was stupid, really, stupid and making everything even more complicated, but you had been thinking about him a lot. Even when you had let Mingyu into your bed again two days ago, Seokmin had been right there, Seokmin and the way he had cum without you even doing anything directly to him. Seokmin and his thighs. Seokmin and how he would taste on your tongue. It was haunting you and you just really needed to get him out of your system. You had thought that maybe you could get him to drive you home, asking him to come upstairs. Apparently, though, you didn’t even have to think that far.
“Did you enjoy it? Watching Seungcheol fuck me? Watching me finger myself?”
Seokmin groaned, his hand moving to your throat, making you moan and, fuck, his ears began ringing. Without giving it any more thought, he pressed his lips onto yours, almost ready to have you reject him, but instead he felt your hands grab onto his collar, your purse falling onto the floor. Immediately, he deepened the kiss, his tongue gliding over your lips and you gladly let him enter. Your lips moved together in perfect sync, his tongue guiding yours and making butterflies erupt in your stomach. He then pushed one of his delicious thighs between your legs, having you gasp into his mouth when you felt him flex against your core. It felt like an instinct, the way you began rutting your cunt against his leg, his low moan filling the heavy air.
“You like getting off on my thigh, baby?” He whispered against your lips and you nodded rapidly, a whimper coming out of your mouth when he pressed himself closer against you, his thigh now moving with your hips. His lips attached to your neck, kissing and sucking on your skin and you let your hands wander off to the back of his neck, nails digging into his skin, leaving small crescent moons right there.
The stimulation from his thigh was immense, almost too much, considering how much you had fantasized about them. Your head banged against the wall behind you, teeth sinking into your bottom lip to minimize your sounds. Seokmin continued kissing your neck, hand now moving to squeeze your tit over your dress, noticing right away you went braless.
“Look so fucking pretty in that dress, shit.” He kissed you on the mouth again, grabbing your face with the hand that had previously been around your throat. You moaned into his mouth, feeling his thumb press down on your stiff nipple. For a while you just made out like that, just kissing as if your life depended on it and somehow both of you felt like that was the case. Then, when both of you heard Seungcheol’s laugh through the wooden door, Seokmin parted from you, his eyes dark, his lips swollen. Without hesitating, he picked you up from the floor and moved to his desk, his lips back on yours, biting down on your bottom lip and making you cry out. Placing you on his desk, he continued to let his hands roam over your thighs, right hand finally touching your needy core.
“All for me?” He mumbled against your ear and you nodded again, hands on his cheeks, guiding him back to your lips. You felt like you could get drunk on his kisses. Seokmin leaned in harder, while his fingers slipped underneath your panties, touching your soaked folds and moving down to press down on your sensitive clit. You moaned again, your eyelids fluttering as you felt him circle your clit, your hips almost automatically starting to move. Seokmin smirked against your lips before he continued to kiss you, his tongue finding yours right away, nothing seeming more important than kissing you. Only when he felt your hips shake, he decided to pull your panties off your legs, your ass lifting off from the desk for a second, your panties soon on the floor. Seokmin licked his lips before he finally sunk a finger into you, your face showing nothing but pleasure. He grinned confidently.
“Is this what you actually came for, baby?” He asked then and you nodded, sucking his finger right up your needy pussy. Seokmin groans quietly.
“Yeah? Naughty girl, aren’t you?” His lips found your jaw, moving down to your neck again and you quickly opened the zipper off your dress, having it fall off your shoulders in no time. Seokmin sucked in a breath, eyes glued to your tits.
“Touch me, Seokmin.” Your breathy voice made his cock twitch and he moved quickly, hand now squeezing your tit while the other added another finger, pumping in and out of you at quick speed now. Your eyes rolled back and Seokmin knew you were trying to stay quiet. He chuckled.
“Let it out, baby. Let him know.” And while in theory that sounded extremely hot, you weren’t sure how Cheol would take this - you fucking his assistant right outside his door. Still, you let out a louder moan when his fingers hit your sweet spot, the squishy part of you making Seokmin bite into your shoulder.
“Fuck, you’re so tight, baby.” He pulled his fingers out, sucking them clean, while your hands moved to open his pants, belt first, then zipper and button. You couldn’t wait to get your hands on his cock, to have him in your hand and to finally have him pound into you. Finally, when his pants landed on the floor and you saw the prominent outline of his cock behind his gray briefs, the moan escaping you now could have surely been heard by the man behind the wooden door. Seokmin moved quickly, one hand moving to your neck, lips chasing yours as his other hand grabbed his shaft, your legs wrapping around him as he finally sunk into you one inch at a time.
“O-Oh, Seokmin!” You cried out and he cried back, forehead resting against yours. Only when he bottomed out, all of him safely pushed inside, did he move his head, his lips now right by your ear.
“I’ll fuck you better than he ever could, baby. Make you cum harder than he ever will.” His words make you clench around him, your head dropping back as he began fucking you, the desk making noises that neither of you believed could stay unnoticed. His hands gripped your hips as he continued to fuck into you, your mouth hanging wide open, hands holding onto the edges of the table, his dick so good there were stars around your head.
“God, look at you. Gonna fuck you stupid, baby.”
He picked up his pace, moving forward and raising one arm to move some of his documents to the side, having you lay down flat on the desk, your head hanging over the edge now. You looked absolute angelic and perfect, he couldn’t help but twitch. Your cunt kept on clenching around him, almost as if she never wanted to let him go again and, fuck, if anything Seokmin felt just the same. His hands dug deeper into your skin, his grunts having you arch your back and when he pressed two of his fingers against your clit, circling it like he had done before, you couldn’t help the cry that escaped you, your legs spasming around him as you felt your orgasm rush over you. Seokmin felt you throb around him, felt the waves of pleasure that erupted you and he moved quicker now, eyes focused on the way your tits bounced with every one of his thrusts. He knew he was close, fucking you through your orgasm and continuing to rub your clit, your pussy spent but still asking for more.
“S-Seokmin, do-don’t stop!” You almost screamed, your voice full of need and Seokmin’s head felt like it was about to explode.
“Yeah, take it like the good whore you are, fuck!” He leaned forward now, hand now behind your head to steady it as he kisses you hungrily, his hips still rutting against yours, getting that second orgasm out of you just as he feels his own approach.
“Gonna cum, baby.” He mumbled with your tongue on his lips, your cry finally getting him over the edge, hot white spurs of his pleasure painting your walls as he fucked you and now him as well through your orgasms, the desk hitting the floor repeatedly at this point, the sound obnoxious and so obvious.
Obvious and obnoxious to the person behind the wooden door who had recognized your first moan and hadn’t been able to concentrate on the meeting ever since. How fucking dare you, he thought, fucking Seokmin right outside his door. Seungcheol had wanted to go out there and drag you in here, finish the job he knew he was the best at. He didn’t though. He knew how you felt about your challenge and as much as he hated it - he wanted to respect you. So, now there he sat. His cock hard hearing your noises, knowing exactly what you looked like when you made them, with three old dudes on the phone talking about whatever. He had muted himself at some point when the desk outside began rutting against the floor too loudly. He made a mental note to get these nailed to the floor.
Seungcheol also recognized your cry as you came, his cock twitching uncomfortably. He shifted in his seat, clearing his throat and pulling a hand through his hair. Thankfully, about fifteen minutes later, the meeting was cut short because one of the partners had an emergency and so Seungcheol said his goodbyes and left the call, immediately jumping up from his chair to hurry over to the door, opening it swiftly.
There you were, seated on the edge of the desk Seungcheol knew Seokmin had just fucked you on. You turned around to look at him, jumping from the desk with an innocent smile on your face. Seokmin had stood in front of you. He had kissed you. Seungcheol had caught you kissing Seokmin. His hand was about to cramp, that’s how hard he balled it.
“Y/N.” Cheol said sternly and your eyebrows shot up.
“Seungcheol I-,”
“I am taking you home. Seokmin, I need you to cancel all my meetings for the day.”
He didn’t give either of you a chance, instead he grabbed you by the wrist and basically dragged you out and to the elevators. The atmosphere was cold and you knew that it was most probably because of what he had heard. You bit your lip, glad you had thought about grabbing your purse after you and Seokmin had parted and he had gotten you some towels from the bathroom.
The kiss after… it hadn’t really been planned. But once he had helped you clean up, his cum dripping down your legs and all… his face had been so close and then, suddenly, you were making out again. Not with any intention, you both were worn out, but just because you could.
“Cheolie…” You pouted up at him, but Cheol ignored you, instead taking his car key out of his pocket and continuing to drag you along when you reached the garage.
He placed you on the passenger seat and then moved to the driver’s seat. The drive was silent. Cheol didn’t say a word and you felt like you should probably give him the space he needed right now.
When he finally parked at your apartment complex, he also finally looked at you.
“You kissed him.” He said. You were confused.
“That’s normally what happens during sex, yes.”
“No. After. When I came out. You kissed him.”
You blinked at him a few times. Then, you grinned.
“Choi Seungcheol, don’t tell me you’re jealous.”
“I am. Extremely. I told you I want you to finish your challenge, I even picked the guys for you, Y/N.”
“Then what’s the problem?”
“The problem is you kissed him after. Like you kiss me.”
Your heart clenched inside your chest. Quickly, you undid your seatbelt and instead leaned forward, placing your hand on his cheek.
“Cheolie…” You pouted again, but he averted his gaze, his cheeks slightly red. You let your teeth sink into your lip.
“Daddy…” The whisper made Cheol look up. He was still semi-hard.
That’s how you found yourself with his cock down your throat and him fucking up into your tight heat. As it seemed neither of you could have an adult conversation without a certain situation being in the way.
“God yeah, no one takes my cock like you, fuck.” His head was leaned back against the headrest, his mouth hanging wide open as he used your throat to get off, to forget.
“You want only my cock, I know you do, want only me to fill you up, want only my cum to breed you, my little whore.”
He mostly spoke to himself, almost like a pep-talk and you gladly let him, your tongue swirling around him as you hollowed out your cheeks.
A knock on the window made him still inside your mouth.
“Oppa?!” The voice was muffled through the glass.
Jiwoo’s eyes were as wide as could get, but somehow grew even wider when she made eye-contact with her best friend who was currently getting throat fucked by Jiwoo’s older brother.

Zero context WIP game ! Thank you @clawbehavior for the tag, excited to do this because I've got like 10 different wips and kept resisting the temptation to post snippets. These fics don't have definitive titles yet so the ones here are approximative descriptions
1. Ms Ji & the Kangs
“Yohan-ah, I love you, don’t cry” Isaac says, patting his baby brother’s stomach when he fusses. They’re both laying on Isaac’s bed after lunch, a bit drowsy in the early hours of the afternoon. Young-Ok watches the two as she folds laundry.
“Nanny, why does Yohan have no eyebrows ?” Isaac asks curiously.
She chuckles at the question, taking a tiny pair of socks out of the basket and folding them together. “Most babies are born without much hair, he’ll grow them later on.”
2. Conversations
Gaon swipes ‘accept call’ and props his phone against a utensil holder as Elijah’s lovely face comes into view. She has cut her hair into a bob, even bangs forming a curtain on her forehead.
“Gaon, it's an emergency ! You need to come to Geneva and do something !” Elijah’s voice immediately comes through the phone speaker, loud enough to be heard over the sound of meat sizzling on the stove. “Yohan is serious about growing that ugly mustache and the clinic receptionist keep trying to hit on him !”
3. Yohan through Isaac's photography
October 1991, Yohan showing me his teeth
Gaon chuckles at the photo. It’s blurry like the objective had gone out of focus at the last minute. Yohan is giving the camera a smile and scrunching his nose, eyes closed under his fringe like he’s shielding them from the flash. Some milk teeth are missing from his gums, two permanent ones just peeking above the surface. He must have been no more than six or seven here.
4. Gaon scrolls online forums
"Judge Oh, I have this file I wanted discuss with you"
Jinjoo comes up behind him to see just as he is about to unlock his computer. What greets Gaon after entering his password is the previous night's research topic brightly displayed on the screen. Shit. Carelessly, he had simply shut the laptop before going to bed, instead of closing the tabs and erasing his search history.
Panic and embarrassment seize Gaon on the spot. He's about two hundred-percent certain that Jinjoo got a glimpse of what was written on the screen. Omegaverse fanfiction of him and their boss. Gaon wants to explode.
"You have…a lot of open tabs, Judge Kim."
5. Another snippet from Conversations
“You have something under your eye”
“Hmm ?” Yohan hums, closing said eye when Gaon’s thumb gently swipes across his skin.
“Eyelash.” Gaon flicks it away “crap I should’ve told you to make a wish”
They’re laying on the couch in a tangle of limbs, Gaon on top of Yohan like a weighted blanket, chest to chest, book long abandoned on the coffee table. Kkomi is on the armrest behind Yohan’s head, sniffing at his hair. Gaon yawns into Yohan’s collar.
“We should go to bed.” Yohan says, voice hoarse.
6. Sunah lives
It is routine until her ears catch familiar voices, ones she thought she would never hear again, along with the cries of a fussy child.
“Gaon-ah, give her to me”
Sunah turns around to see, to her surprise, peering over the café’s balcony, Kang Yohan, his niece, his former associate, passing over an agitated toddler.
“I told you we should have brought her stroller,” Kim Gaon’s reprimands are a refreshing thing to hear “She gets tired.”
“It would have been inconvenient though, with all the stairs and narrow streets.” Kang Elijah chimes in. She is on crutches now, standing just a few centimeters shy of her uncle’s height.
“That’s fine” Kang Yohan hauls up the little girl against his chest so that her head rests on his shoulder, pats her back. “Appa will be the stroller today."
Tagging @thedeviljudges if you feel like doing it !

Bungou Stray Dogs Otoge
So I saw an earlier post about what BSD characters being the love interests in Diabolik Lovers, so why not make an otoge/otome game for them?
Dazai Yohane proudly presents you... Bungou Stray Dogs Otoge!
Warning: Crack, some angst in the bad endings, OOC even maybe. Random thoughts in a mental breakdown. Spoilers for Storm Bringer. Character deaths mentions.
Notes: None. I just want to distract myself.
Love interests:
Dazai Osamu - 1 True Ending, 1 Good Ending and 2 Bad Endings
The mystery type
"Posterboi", yes, he's on the poster for the common version of the game, the limited version ft all 5 love interests (except for Fyodor because he's in the secret route)
Ranked #2 in the popularity poll
Is loved by all the fangirls
Likes to fool around with MC
All of that disappear when you got out of the common route and head for his route
FUCK PLEASE GO BACK
Shout out to Dazai slowly opening up gotta be my favourite genre
Will have a CG where he takes you to Lupin and slowly opens up to you about his past
Best bed scene in the whole game
One of the bad endings is where you two committed a lover's suicide together and succeeded.
Nakahara Chuuya - 1 True Ending, 2 Good Ending and 3 Bad Endings
The rich guy who'd buy you everything as a gift, jewelries, fancy clothes, a store, a building even?!
Candidate for the next mob boss
5/5 (actually 4.5) on these criterias:
The (soon to be) mob boss
Cruel, cold to almost everyone else except for his 'family' aka the mafia
Is actually a nice person
Will treats you gently, like a princess when he's head over heels for you
Gap moe (he likes dogs)
So inevitably, he ranked #1 in the popularity poll
Is almost everything the Italians hates about 'romanticizing the mafiosos'
His route is basically a whole "FUCK GO BACK" like Dazai, since we'll focus on his traumas and his past more.
He will opens up about his fear of not being a human, about the calamity that lives inside him
Has a CG where he takes you to visit Rimbaud's and The Flags' graves.
That one route would make the players put the Switch/PS Vita down and ask themselves why are they here, just to suffer.
Best kiss sounds in the whole fucking game I say. His bed scene makes you went from angsty mood to instant horny.
One of his bad ending is about how Chuuya lost control of the calamity inside him - Arahabaki when he saw you, killed before his eyes by the enemy, and with Dazai out of the picture, there isn't anyone there to stop him anymore.
Nakajima Atsushi - 1 True Ending, 1 Good Ending and 1 Bad Ending
That one character make everyone goes 'hell I could adopt him even not flirt with him.'
Cute, shy boy
Is cute when needed and sexy when wanted
Makes you wonder how can an angel like this even exists
Has good kissing sounds *if you know what I mean*
Drifting off the common route we dig deeper into his past, about the beast inside him, about the orphanage and the headmaster
A CG where he'll cry in your arms and you soothing him, reassure the boy that it's all in the past and he isn't alone now
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke - 1 True Ending, 2 Good Ending and 2 Bad Ending
Tsundere type
Foul-mouthed
Eventually will slowly opens up to MC
God he's so cute and precious
Needs a hug for all the traumas he's been through
His route basically focus on his past and how Dazai affected him so much
He has a CG where he sat down and talk with you about Gin and how he grows up in the slum, about why did he crave for power so bad, and why he wanted to be acknowledged by his ex-mentor.
3rd best bed scene in the game.
Kunikida Doppo - 1 True Ending, 1 Good Ending and 1 Bad Ending
Workaholic type
A man who dedicates his life to work
The handsome one with glasses
It's really fun watching him slowly falling for you, especially when he has this "58 standards for the ideal woman"
He'll slowly crosses them out just for you 💖
His route focus on the reason he dreams of an ideal world, his ideal world
Will has this 'behind the scene' flashback about The Azure King's case and Azure Apostle's case 2 years ago with the death of Rokuzou and Sasaki.
A CG where he holds you tightly in his arms and speaks with a broken voice, teary eyes about how he's so scare that his ideal might consume him one day like what happened to Azure King. He is whom chases his ideals like the moth chasing flames, but deep down under that perfectionist, workaholic mask is how he's insecure and scared that his ideals will burn him down like the flame that burn down the moth.
2nd best bed scene in the game.
His bad ending is basically when his ideals finally consume him and Kunikida became the 2nd Azure King.
Secret route: Fyodor Dostoevsky - 1 True Ending and 1 Bad Ending
After you finish everyone's route, a new, hidden route will be unlocked. And it's the Russian man, the mastermind behind everything
To be honest, this is quite of a short route. No common, just straight to his route
Also a mystery type
The smart, prodigy type
The one who has this aura goes "run for your life" or either "damn he's hot"
Expect an unhealthy relationship when you're in this route
This man will uses you like a pawn on his chessboard
Gaslighting, manipulation, abusing, you name it. Everything is in this route
What good ending? No good ending with him for you missy. Only true end or bad end.
WORST BAD ENDING IN THE WHOLE GAME. Please don't ask what it's like.
Fandisc: 2 fandisc with one being the current timeline, the other is about when Dazai is still in the mafia.
Bonus contents for 1st fandisc:
An extra route for Fukuzawa
A Bad Ending in common route ft a 3P, a Dazai x MC x Chuuya sandwich *chef's kiss*
An another Bad Ending in common route ft a 3P, an Atsushi x MC x Akutagawa sandwich
And a new Bad Ending in secret route leads you to a Dazai x MC x Fyodor sandwich
Bonus contents for 2nd fandisc:
A Mafia!Dazai route
An Odasaku route
An Ango route
A Bad Ending in common route that's extra spicy ft a 4P with the Dark Era Trio?!!! *chef's kiss*

Straight out of a kdrama: WOODZ is pulling his alleged girlfriend out of harm in new pictures
One of today’s hottest items, Cho Seungyoun (also known by his stage name WOODZ) was seen in a rather intimate position with his alleged girlfriend on 20th May at around 9pm in Sogong-dong. In the pictures, we can clearly see the heartthrob rocker and a mysterious young lady talking in front of a 7-Eleven store, the girl reaching something out to him, then the multitalented singer-songwriter pulling her towards him - out of harm as a motorbike is seen passing by. The close scene is making fans swoon worldwide as it looks like a scene straight out of a kdrama.
However, some fans expressed their disappointment that their favourite singer is seen around a young lady as he has not announced that he was taken. On top of that, just a month before the incident, WOODZ was quick to reassure fans at his latest fansign that he was single, and went on to explain that his songs were mostly about searching for one’s self-identity, telling his haters off and raging about today’s society because he did not have a lot of experience in love.
Meanwhile, WOODZ debuted as a solo rock singer in 2021, and is one of the emerging artists of today’s music scene in South Korea, shaking up the hearts of young girls with his aesthetic and high-energy MVs, head bobbing songs and even his not so secret tattoos (which you can see in this previous article).
Check out the pictures of WOODZ and his alleged girlfriend below!
What do you think about the news? Are you happy for WOODZ and his alleged girlfriend?
Tumblr media
Most of the time, you would not read such articles. You didn’t care about celebrities’ rumours, you watched their movies, shows and listened to their music, but you couldn’t care less about whom they dated and whom they didn’t. You knew that it was usually fake either way, or if it was actually true, then it was disgusting that paparazzis could put pictures up on the Internet, and the celebrities in question would be the ones receiving all the hate, not the ones who took the pictures without the others’ consent.
However, now, you were the one involved, you were the one seen in the pictures, and given the location, given the unmistakably hanging 7 on the sign behind you, anyone who frequented this particular area knew that it was this specific 7-Eleven, not somewhere else. Your boss had been meaning to fix the hanging 7 that was pretty much a safety hazard now, but to your luck, it was caught on camera just like your work outfit and your dyed blue-black hair even if your face was blurred out. Anyone who could put two and two together would know that you were working here, not just being here on a casual date with this so-called heartthrob at 9pm.
“This is just unbelievable, who do they think they are?” You exclaimed angrily as you tossed the phone showing the article back to your co-worker, Yohan. He was the one who had brought up if you had seen the article published early in the morning after you had asked him why there were more people here than usual, and why they were giving you odd glances. So while Minhee was taking over the counter, you and Yohan were in the staff room, away from the curious eyes. Who knew when paparazzi would show up here at this rate?
“I thought the same. You and a rock singer dating? Please,” the younger boy huffed as if he had any right to talk about your non-existent love life like that when he himself wasn’t any better. When a pretty girl showed up at the counter, he basically malfunctioned. He could only be bratty to girls who treated him like a younger brother - yourself included.
“We are not dating. I was just giving his wallet back because he had left it on the table inside the store, then he thanked me for it, and then, the motorbike guy came, and yes, he did pull me towards him, but it was anything but romantic. I felt so awkward, I wanted the ground to swallow me up.”
“But why? You are the one who always complains that chivalry is dead!” Yohan pointed out with a raise of his eyebrows, and you had to give it to him that he was right.
“I don’t know, it was just… weird. He’s practically a stranger!” You reasoned as you leaned onto the shelf with the uniforms, your head throbbing ever since you had laid your eyes on the article. This could not be happening… This had to be a dream… You were the most ordinary person on Earth, why did you have to get caught up in a dating rumour with a rock singer?
“So you didn’t even exchange numbers that would mean you could contact him now?” Yohan broke the momentary silence, his face pondering. You, on the other hand, gave him a deadly glare as if he had asked if you had killed a person.
“No, of course not. I’ve told you there’s nothing between us.”
“It’s not too good then. How are you going to discuss what to do about the whole situation?”
“I don’t know. I don’t know if celebrities discuss these things when they are rumoured to be with common people,” you reasoned, letting out a huff of air at the end of your answer. You ran a hand through your hair, not caring about the mess you would leave behind because it was a mess either way. Not just your hair but the whole situation.
As if it could get any worse, the door of the staff room flung open, and your manager walked in with his hands on his hips.
“Would anyone mind telling me why people are asking ME if the girlfriend of a certain singer is working here? And by anyone, I mean you,” he said as he pointed at you. Oh, come on, could this get any worse?
“Look, there’s nothing going on between me and that certain singer, I swear. I just went after him last night because he left his wallet behind. That’s all.”
You tried with your most confident tone and your most convincing puppy eyes, but you should have known that didn’t work on your manager. He wasn’t a bad manager, if anything, he was a reasonable boss. However, what he hated the most was drama, and if anyone caused trouble, he would go absolutely feral. Good thing that he hadn’t yet done so.
“This is still not good. People are flooding the store, and they don’t even buy anything. How did they even know it’s our store?”
“It’s because of the hanging 7 above the door,” Yohan chirped in, and even though he wanted to be helpful, it didn’t work because your boss just became even angrier.
“Fine, then I’ll fix the sign now, and you should take the day off while we figure out how to keep the peace of our store.”
“But-” You tried to protest, but your boss didn’t let you, and told you firmly to take the day off. He even mentioned that you should try to dye back your hair in case that would help with people not recognising you around here, and whilst it was reasonable on his part, you felt like a child being reprimanded for something you hadn’t even committed.
May it be your fury or the fact that you had the whole day to yourself afterwards, but you had a plan: if you didn’t know how to contact that so-called singer, you should find out where his agency was, and maybe, they would help you settle the case if you were cooperative.
Or so you hoped.
When you let Yohan know about your plan before leaving the store, he insisted on accompanying you. He came up with sillier and sillier answers as to why (what if crazy fans would flock you? What if someone would throw eggs at you? What if they wanted to throw you out of the agency when they got to know why you were there?), so you told him you would wait until the end of his shift, and then you can go together. In the meantime, you looked up this so-called WOODZ’s agency - it was his own agency according to the articles which made everything more and less intimidating at the same time -, and spiralled down into the hellhole of the internet, seeing too many versions of the story of last night, but none of them were true. Some even went as far as to say that you had been kissing after this singer had pulled you closer to him, and one commenter even said that she saw you leaving the store with the celebrity. Absolute nonsense, absolute bonkers. If you hated gossip before, now you absolutely detested it.
Tumblr media
Getting inside the agency was no big deal as it seemed that there was an exhibition part of the building about the artist’s life that fans could visit, but getting through the receptionist to talk to Cho Seungyoun himself was more difficult.
“We can’t just let anyone inside that says that they are the girl in the articles.”
“Do you think I would come here for fun if I wasn’t that girl?” You counter-attacked the receptionist dude who couldn’t let you in for safety reasons which you could understand, but still, his explanations were getting on your nerves.
“Crazy fans do exist,” Yohan blurted out absent-mindedly beside you, totally not helping the situation. You gave him a deadly side-eye before turning back to the receptionist.
“Do they even dye their hair to the colour of my hair?” You threw the question at the dude behind the desk, then threw your hands up in the air out of frustration. “Then, what can I do to meet him? Can’t you just tell him that I’m here, and he can see for himself whether it’s me or not, then problem solved,” you suggested as your last piece of hope, and that seemed to spark something in him.
He gave you one long stare before picking up the phone and calling someone (hopefully the so-called heartthrob), then randomly took a photo of you, and when you asked what it was for, he explained that it was for identification to send to Mr Cho as he called the artist. Yohan mumbled something along the lines of ‘how cool’, and before you knew it, you were given a visitor’s pass, and told to go to the fifth floor.
“And what about me?” Yohan puckered his lips at the receptionist who seemed to be on the edge already.
“And who would you be?”
“Her colleague. Her emotional support colleague who wants to make sure that she’s treated right,” he answered all too seriously, and if you didn’t know him, you would say that he was overreacting, but you knew that he could be very adamant when it was about people who were close to him.
You two had been on good terms ever since he had started working at the convenience store and given that you were older and had worked there already, you had been the one to show him the ropes, and you had developed this sibling kind of relationship quickly. He and Minhee could talk about all the boyish topics they wanted while you gave him life advice when he needed it and got him out of trouble when he messed up an invoice or clumsily broke something.
“Fine. But no pictures or videos, either of you,” the dude warned you both before giving out a visitor pass to the younger boy as well who giddily followed you through the gates, and eventually to the fifth floor.
As soon as you stepped out, there was a 30-something guy waiting for you two who introduced himself as Han Seungwoo, WOODZ’s manager. Then, he led you to a meeting room after a few empty corners, and when you stepped inside, the rock singer was already there, looking up from a bunch of documents when you stepped inside.
Last night, the singer had been wearing a casual grey hoodie, similarly plain sweatpants and no make-up. He had looked like your typical boy-next-door, although he was far from a young boy now, and you had no handsome neighbours like him. Even though you would have wanted to deny, you couldn’t deny that he was attractive, not in a pushy way, not in an overwhelming way, but there was a certain degree of boyishness mixed in with his muscular features, and he just looked nice, even as a casual visitor last night.
Now though in a chic white shirt pulled up until his elbows, sliced back hair, slight dark make-up, he did look extra fine. Damn it, it would have been easier to shout his head off (to find a solution to the problem at hand, of course) if he hadn’t looked like that.
He stood up, bowed at you two before signalling to the chairs on the other side of the table.
“Good afternoon! Please, take a seat,” he greeted you two politely, and you exchanged a glance with Yohan beside you. Was he always extra nice, or was it because he didn’t want you to get more frustrated because he believed that you weren’t in the best mood? Either way, he was like a real gentleman, and even his voice was gentle (was a rock singer allowed to have such a gentle voice?) as he introduced himself officially while all of you were taking a seat at the table.
The artist’s manager sat beside Seungyoun himself (he mentioned that he preferred his real name, not his stage name) while you and Yohan were on the other side, introducing yourself quite clumsily, to be honest. However, Seungyoun didn’t give you an odd glance when Yohan introduced himself as your little brother-like colleague who was definitely not your boyfriend before he wanted to know.
“Well, thank you for the information,” Seungyoun chuckled hearing the younger boy’s words, and his eyes turned into little crescents as he was laughing. That was really cute or something, but you weren’t here for that. You were here to get out of this mess.
“So uhm… I don’t know how people do this usually, but can’t you release an article saying that there’s nothing between us, and explain what happened exactly? It’s giving me a hard time at work, people are flooding the store and asking questions. My manager is also quite agitated,” you explained in one-go, hoping that all this newfound information will make him empathise with you enough to agree to your plan.
There was a few seconds of silence when Seungyoun and his manager exchanged a glance, and you felt your heartbeat picking up its pace. What if they thought you were crazy? What if they didn’t want to stir up even bigger of a mess? Such thoughts crossed your mind, but the casual way they gave in eased your worries.
“There’s no guarantee that the public would believe you two, but we can try with an official release on the agency’s side,” the manager articulated solemnly, and you nodded immediately, knowing all too well that the public could think whatever they wanted despite the truth being far from the situation.
So you got started on putting together a statement, and since you were already there, Seungyoun wanted you to have a say in this. Not because he didn’t remember what had happened the night before (you couldn’t have wiped the memory from your mind even if you had wanted to), but because he wanted your consent as to what they would put out. Yohan nudged you in the side hearing that, and you mouthed a why, but he just gave you a smug, boyish grin in return. What was he up to, jeez?
The statement took longer than you would have thought so, and Yohan got so bored in the meantime that he started scrolling on his phone. Thank god he did though because another mess was on its way, it seemed.
“Oh… Ooohh… This is not good,” he vocalised while you were doing the finishing touches on the text, and all eyes were on him now. He pushed his phone to the middle of the table, an anonymous post with the title ‘WOODZ’s alleged girlfriend is seen at the artist’s agency' open on it. You immediately snatched the phone and scrolled down to read what they had to say.
“I saw WOODZ’s alleged girlfriend entering the boy’s agency earlier today, about an hour ago. She was seen with another guy who seemed like her brother or something… Either way, here are the photos I’ve taken… You can clearly see that it’s her, and now we can be even more sure that he’s dating her,” you quoted from the post, your mouth hanging agape at the end as you looked at the photos taken of you and Yohan entering the building. Even though you both had masks on, your dyed hair was still the same, and it seemed that it was enough for the eagle-eyed fan to spot you and make it into an announcement.
You felt like the ground opened up beneath you. Just how… Why… How did this even happen? How could showbiz be like this? When the rumours and drama were far away from you in magazines and on online boards, it did seem bad, but not this bad when you were directly the target of these rumours. It was one thing that you had gotten swirled up in one rumour, but to be caught up in another one? Sure, you could have been more careful when you had entered the building, but should you be paranoid from now on?
“I think at this point it would be easier if you two just… dated,” Yohan blurted out casually, and you felt your eyes widen as you gave him a glare.
“He has a point,” Seungyoun’s manager, Seungwoo, voiced out his opinion as well, and given the singer’s solemn face and lack of response, you had a feeling that he felt the same way.
“That does not solve the problem of me not being able to work because of what’s happening at the store.”
“You can work here. We have some vacancies,” the rock singer suggested seriously, his eyes boring into yours. You could tell that he was being genuine, and since he was the CEO of his own company, he could make it work, but still…
“Wouldn’t that make everything worse?”
“Well, that depends on how you see it. If you work here, we can give you a piece of mind as no one will bother you here. You can also come in from the back or from the garage which are for staff only, not through the main entrance which is for the general public. We can also appoint you a security guard if you would like to. It’s my company, so we could also make adjustments as you see fit. You wouldn’t need to feel like you inconvenience anyone because this is what we do here, that’s our job,” he announced confidently as if he had practised it already. Maybe it wasn’t a surprise that he could lead his own company, he seemed to take everything into consideration while speaking eloquently about a matter.
“We can’t do that elsewhere, but I also understand that you have your own job, your own goals, your friends and colleagues there, so it might not be your first choice,” he added a bit belatedly when you still didn’t speak up. He kept the eye-contact with you, but that just made everything worse because you wanted to believe him. You felt like you could believe him when he looked at you like that, but it was still so sudden, so new and so… scary.
“I… I think I need a bit more time to think about this,” you concluded when you found your voice, and the artist and his manager both nodded.
Seungyoun asked his manager to give you a pass if you needed to come by in the future, you also exchanged contacts, and you also decided to drop posting the official announcement for now. The singer told you to contact him anytime you felt like you needed it because of the situation, and before you would have left, he even apologised for the trouble.
“It’s not your fault. You can’t change the fact that you are a celebrity,” you responded out of empathy, and you saw hurt flash across his orbs, but you didn’t want to ask about it. You were sure that he had his fair share of hardships while being in the spotlight even without articles being written about him.
Maybe he was going through one right now as well.

Working at Seungyoun’s agency seemed like the most reasonable choice given the circumstances, but it took you a whole bunch of supposedly helpful things - such as writing a pros and cons list - and totally unhelpful things - such as tossing and turning in bed at night for two days in a row to make that decision. In the meantime, you went to dye your hair to black and cut it jaw-length short - shorter than it had ever been - so as to at least confuse the paparazzi or fans if they passed you by or came by the store. You still got odd glances, but at least you could have some peace of mind before leaving the store - and your lovely coworkers - behind. Your manager let you quit immediately given the circumstances, and Seungyoun let you join a few days later when you felt ready and had enough of being scooped up at home. You were more nervous about going outside when you were alone at home than when you were actually outside.
It didn’t mean that it wasn’t scary, but they were really nice at the company, and apart from Seungwoo, the artist’s manager, and Wooseok, the receptionist (you got to know his name later on), no one knew who you actually were, which was a relief. You had your own pass, your own duties as an assistant in the production office, and since you were a newbie (and that’s how you had been introduced to everyone on the first day), no one looked at you weird or deemed you incapable. They showed you the ropes, and soon enough, you were sucked into the world of album production, concept making, marketing plans and merchandise distribution. In the meantime, the rumours died down a bit though it didn’t mean that you were 100% rid of your fears and slight paranoia whenever you stepped outside.
Seungyoun, on the other hand, was kind and polite like the first time you met him - to be precise, the second time, but the first one at his company -, and when you bumped into each other in the corridor, he frequently halted to ask how you were doing and what you were up to. He did that with other employees as well, so you weren’t an exception, but it felt nice that he cared nevertheless. Especially because you knew that he was super busy recording for a new album, and he had his own company to run, so he had a lot to do.
You did look him up in the meantime, listening to some of his songs, and actually found yourself growing fond of his own style, especially when you felt like you could conquer the world while listening to a few of his angriest songs (they were great for singing in the shower when the stress got to you).
However, you didn’t really look up his stages and such, so when you were in a meeting to decide on his outfits for his next comeback and they were showing old press and stage photos and even videos of past performances, you were taken aback to see more revealing clothes on him such as sleeveless shirts, blazers without anything underneath and tank tops. You hoped that no one noticed that you were visibly shocked because you sure were. Seeing him in his usual cardigan and cotton pants combo or elegant, usually loose shirts were common, but seeing him like that on stage… well, that made you feel a bit uneasy because he seemed to know the power he had on his fans.
Days went by, the comeback was closer, and days got longer as everyone prepared extra hard. So after a long day when you wanted to have some time to yourself before leaving for home and joining the hustle-bustle of the commuting city centre, you went up to the rooftop of the company building. You looked at the buzzing city beneath you with all its sparkling city lights while taking a few sips from your carbonated drink and trying to ease the headache that was creeping onto you.
However, when the door to the rooftop flung open, and Seungyoun himself walked out, you felt uncharacteristically bashful as if you had been caught red-handed being here. It was common for colleagues to come up here during breaks, you just happened to be here on your own now. Well, he didn’t seem to mind your presence either, just asked if he could join you.
“Sure. It’s your company after all,” you told him semi-jokingly, and he reciprocated your smile as he stepped beside you, leaning onto the rail just like you did. He had a really charming smile, you had to admit, and it was lovely when his eyes turned into little crescents because he was someone who had that typical cute eye smile that could make girls swoon.
“Sometimes I still find it hard to believe that it’s mine,” he admitted as he looked at the city. You had read that he had been writing and producing songs, even being a back-up vocalist for a lot of acclaimed artists before creating his own company and debuting as a solo artist. You didn't know before that people could be paid a lot from royalties, but he sure had his name on a lot of different artists’ songs, and he had also been working part-time before becoming a full-time musician. So he had absolutely worked hard for it, that was one for certain.
“Is it better or worse to have your own company?”
“In a lot of aspects, I think it’s better because I have a lot more freedom, I have a lot more say in my artistic direction, but on the other hand, if I get into a scandal or my sales go down, the whole company could suffer the consequences including the trainees and solo artists that are here now,” he concluded as eloquently as always, and you couldn’t help but think of the dating rumour that you two had been a part of.
“I’m sorry that-”
“You don’t need to be sorry for that. I didn’t mention the scandals because of that,” Seungyoun cut you off before you could immediately go full-on regretful mode. Then, he gave you a soft, gentle smile, and continued slowly yet confidently. “Part of being in this industry is about dealing with the rumours and groundless accusations. They are pretty much inevitable, so one needs to work on themselves to withstand it. I also did that through counselling, and I still see a psychologist from time to time. They’ve helped me a lot at the beginning of my career, and it’s good to have those sessions to clear my mind and give space to more important thoughts and ideas.”
You heard of the free psychological consultation artists, trainees and employees under the company could sign up for, and you applauded Seungyoun for the initiative and also for speaking up about the matter. It must not be easy for him with the stigma around mental health in the industry, but that was just one more reason you looked up to him.
Since he shared something more vulnerable about himself, you decided to do the same. So after a long breath, you shared with him that you had also seen a psychologist when you hadn’t gotten into university upon graduation, and you had believed that all of your dreams had been crashed and taken away from you. It had been such a dark time for you, something that you didn’t like talking about, but it led you to start working at the 7-Eleven and make friends with your colleagues - something that you had never taken for granted afterwards.
“What would you have wanted to become? If you don’t mind sharing,” he inquired after sharing your sentiment that reaching out to a professional in times of need isn’t unnecessary, but rather brave.
“You’re going to laugh-” You started tentatively as the young man turned towards you to give you a semi-offended glare.
“I won’t, I promise.”
He looked at you like a puppy that was waiting for a treat, eyes all shiny and bright under the dim lights around, and after a long sigh, you gave him your answer.
“I wanted to be a journalist. Not the gossip magazine type, but maybe writing about hidden gems in Seoul, travel content and interviewing people about their life stories.”
When you finished, there was a moment of silence before the boy erupted into laughter. You almost threw hands at him because he had promised not to laugh, but before you could do so, he justified his action, still giggling.
“I thought you would say something like… I don’t know… astrophilosophy, and that’s why you said I would laugh.”
“What? Would you have laughed if I had told you so?” You raised a challenging eyebrow, but in the next moment, you also found yourself laughing along with him.
Gosh, it seemed so easy to be around him like this, it almost seemed easy to imagine that it could always be like this with him despite you two having quite a bit of a history yourselves. You didn’t even want to think about the what ifs regarding your future, you just enjoyed this moment and the conversation you were having.
Tumblr media
You didn’t know just how crazy a comeback season could be until you found yourself in one, but it was super busy, everyone was doing a lot of work, and although you were only an assistant, not the ones actually making decisions and tracking sales and engagement, you were always on the go as well. It kept your mind occupied, so you didn’t have to worry about your paranoid thoughts that actually easened a bit once Seungyoun made his comeback and mentioned that the truth wasn’t what was written in those articles once asked about it at a fansign.
He didn’t outright deny anything, he shared only this much, and asked fans to understand that if he didn’t come out with a story on his own, it was to protect the privacy of the person involved (aka you), and he wanted to be as considerate as possible in such an intrusive situation as it was. It seemed to calm the nerves of the fans, and since the boy didn’t post anything suspicious on social media or said anything that could indicate more, the rumours died down. Seungyoun even won at music shows and his album sales were solid, so the rumour didn’t seem to affect his comeback (thank god).
Yohan was having the time of his life in the meantime though, watching variety shows of Seungyoun during his breaks at work because he was loving the idea that you were now working for the singer (he said it was like a fanfic coming true). Instead of you, now he had Minhee and Hyeongjun - the new employee to replace you - to chat to, and as quiet as Minhee was, Hyeongjun was a chatterbox, so these three really gave you a headache with all their questions in the groupchat Yohan made for you all. Somehow it seemed that you adopted these boys as little brothers, and they were living their best life being your adopted siblings.
Thankfully, your parents were also reassured that even though you changed jobs so quickly, you managed the new tasks and responsibilities well, and despite them not having heard of your rumour before, you came clear to them, and explained everything. As expected, they believed you over the rumours and were extremely happy to see that the singer protected your privacy, yet stood up for you (and himself as well).
However, even with a pretty successful comeback season ending, work didn’t stop, and it was true for you and Seungyoun as well. You needed to ask him about some materials, but when you asked his manager, he told you to check his office first. The singer wasn’t there, so Seungwoo suggested his studio.
As you got closer to his recording studio, you could already hear an unfamiliar melody in the hallway. Not that you had listened to all of his songs (okay, maybe you had done so a few times), but you knew most of his songs, so you guessed that he wasn’t practising but rather working on new songs. You decided to ask about it once you knocked on the door and he let you in.
“Are you working on a new song?”
“Yeah, work never stops, and it’s good when inspiration hits,” he explained as he looked up from his keyboard, a weary albeit gentle smile playing on his lips. Even though you were here to ask a work-related question, you couldn’t help but pry a bit. You knew that he was always so enthusiastic to talk about his music to anyone, so you hoped he wouldn’t mind.
“It sounded a bit different from what you usually put out. Are you venturing into something new?” You quirked an eyebrow, curious and genuine as usual. He dropped a shy smile, scratching the back of his neck as if he was unsure what to call this new song.
“I want to, but I’m just experimenting for now,” he reasoned almost timidly, and this was the side of him that you usually didn’t see in a work setting. You saw clips of him being shy when fans complimented him or when other musicians called him their role model, but he was usually this confident, ever-so-ready-to-take-on-the-world kind of artist and CEO at the company, so it was rare to see him in such a state.
“Do you want to have a listen?” Seungyoun inquired as he kept the eye-contact. There was no challenge in his eyes, no fear, no pressure… He was just there, suggesting something that you didn’t know whether he suggested to a lot of people, but you didn’t have any reason to say no.
So you took a seat beside him while he was clicking something on his computer, then the first few accords of the song started slowly, calmly. It was like walking on the beach, by the ocean, reminiscing about the past while getting lost in the crystal clear water peacefully reaching for the sand under your feet. Then, the song gradually picked up its pace, and the waves started crashing down on the shore, unpredictable and hard, like a sudden rainpour that brings heavy winds, dark clouds and unforgiven rain.
The song went back to a more tranquil pace after the first chorus, but the waves hit again at the second chorus, and the water kept coming and coming through the bridge, and with one last burst of rage, it came to an end.
You felt like the air was sucked out of your lungs when it ended, the song felt so personal and raw. Just like how in those movies, you see all these flashbacks while the character is rushing to turn their life around, this is how you felt when you were listening to this song, and when it ended, it seemed like there was an intersection where you could choose where to go, what to take away with you.
“Wow… that was… amazing,” you jumbled the first words that came to your mind because truly, you were very positively taken aback.
“Did you really like it? You can be honest-”
“I really liked it. It was really heartbreaking though…” You admitted as you turned your head to look at the singer. When he was all scooped up like this, many empty water bottles on his desk, bright, wide eyes waiting for your answer, he seemed more like a school kid hoping that you liked the idea he had or the small thing he had put together than the CEO of this very company.
However, there must have been a reason he let you listen to this song, and even though you could have easily dodged the question, you decided to ask about it.
“Was it inspired by real life? You don’t have to tell me if you aren’t comfortable…”
“Yeah, it was,” he told you directly, cutting you off. There were a lot of instances when you could feel the emotion in a singer’s voice, and Seungyoun’s song had to be the prime example of that. It was like he was bleeding through the syllables, that’s why you had such a gut feeling.
You didn’t even want to push for more because he seemed to be zoning out after his answer, but a few seconds later, he started sharing the story behind the song.
“I had a relationship before I became a solo singer, and part of why she left me was because of me potentially becoming famous. We kept getting into arguments, and I knew I couldn’t ask her to stay because I understood a part of her reasoning, but after a while, she always found something to nitpick, and nothing I did seemed to please her. It just got messy, and I didn’t really write love songs because it was difficult not to be reminded of the whole experience. But now the inspiration just hit and this song was born in three days,” he shared without batting an eye.
The more he talked, the more your heart churned, and you wondered if it were to ever be released, how would this particular girl react to it. Seungyoun wrote in the song that he was madly in love, but he was tired of the arguments, and how she always left him first, leaving him behind, bleeding and badly hurt. It might have been even messier than you could have imagined.
“I’m so sorry,” you mumbled tentatively, though you wished you could have said more, said something better. You knew that relationships could be messy, but hearing about someone’s experience who was this gentle and who had such a big heart, you had this feeling that you wanted him to have the best possible relationship he could have. You wanted to see him happy, you wanted to hear his love songs that were more joyful. Was that weird?
Seungyoun’s raspy voice was the one that brought you back to reality.
“I just don’t know if I can ever ask anyone to give up a part of their privacy to be with me,” he shared like a sorrowful plea, and this time, you didn’t need to search for the words. You were ready to give him your point of view.
“Look, you made it happen in my case as well. I think you’ll be able to work it out if both parties want to.”
“Would you really let it?” Seungyoun inquired, and you didn’t have to ask him to specify what he meant. You knew that he was asking about you agreeing to a public relationship, and given that you had that experience or semi-experience, you knew that it was both easier and more complicated than one would think. Yet, it wasn’t the idea that surprised you, it was the way he asked about it. As if he was asking about it in your case as well. As if he was asking about it because…
“Like hypothetically, of course…” He added belatedly when he saw you gaping at him like a fish, unable to blurt out any coherent words.
“Of course…”
“If we actually dated, would you really be willing to give up a part of your privacy for me?” Seungyoun asked head-on, and though you were dancing along the lines of the hypothetical-not so hypothetical question, your heart was bouncing like crazy.
“Yes. You’re a great person and you deserve it. I mean, if hypothetically I was in love with you, I would feel that even more intensively. It might not work out, but at least I would want to give it a try,” you confessed straightforwardly, each and every one of your words genuine. From what you had seen and what you had experienced beside Seungyoun, you had a feeling that he would be the most caring, most considerate boyfriend who would want to do nothing but protect and cherish his significant other, and even just the thought of it sent a pleasant shiver down your spine.
His lips blossomed into a coy, yet joyous smile, and you had to look away for a few seconds to be able to think straight. Afterwards, you tried to divert the topic to the actual question you had come here to ask regarding work, but even after you dealt with that and left his studio, you had this fuzzy feeling in your stomach.
Oh boy, were you in love?
Tumblr media
You didn’t mean to, but somehow you blurted out what you had talked about with Seungyoun regarding you two hypothetically dating, and Hyeongjun went crazy in the groupchat. He said that it was a sure sign the singer was in love with you, but you shrugged off his words.
Nevertheless, the more you tried to pay attention to Seungyoun’s actions towards you, the more you realised that despite him being a very polite person in general, he wasn’t like that to other employees; he didn’t get them their favourite brand of fruit juice at the end of long days, he didn’t have hour-long conversations with them on the rooftop of the agency, he didn’t share more and more songs with them in his studio after working hours, he didn’t offer them to give them a ride home, and he most definitely didn’t fall asleep on their shoulder once he pulled an all-nighter in his studio and was tired the next day.
On the other hand, with him, it wasn’t like crashing and burning, it was a gradual landing, not an instant fall. You both needed time to open up, to be more sure about the other’s intentions and feelings, and slowly yet surely, you walked towards the same direction. There was no grande scene either when you confessed, it was just like any other day, it was just like any other recording studio session when he showed you one of his songs, and somewhere along the lines, he admitted that his question wasn’t about hypothetically dating, and you admitted that you knew.
Afterwards, you were both smiles and giggles, and nothing really changed, except that there was an even more peaceful air around you two. Apart from that, everything was the same, you still kept things professional during working hours, but one thing was for sure: at least you could tell Hyeongjun that he was right: Seungyoun’s question wasn’t actually about hypothetically dating.
You didn’t even mind though.

well, to indulge myself i'm writing this post to ramble and share a bit of my Gahan barbarian!au. it's going to be a bit of a long post i think, we'll see.
i saw noel's post about their gladiator!yohan & prince!gaon (check it here!) and it makes me miss writing the arranged marriage barbarian!au i have, it only has what.. 3 or 4 chapters I think. you can read it here.
i've always been fascinated by the visuals of medieval, historical, period era. even post apocalyptic future settings like Horizon Zero games franchise.
i think i started au bcs i've played too much Assassin's Creed Valhalla— i haven't finished it yet, too preoccupied with Monster Hunter World— but i have sketched my female Eivor several times in my sketchbook. this was when i'm curious and interested enough to draw human but haven't fully grasped the gesture, anatomy, shapes and all. i usually draw what i take interest on and it helps me tremendously, to keep on learning and push through my frustrations.
and of course.. my Gahan brainrot picked it up. hence the barbarian!au for TDJ born
i have sketches of Gahan in this au, i think i've shared them here too but i'll re-share here. it doesn't catch many eyes, i admit it's a bit of a bummer but I like the idea anyway. I used to imagined them before I went to sleep, now it's idol/celeb!gaon x mysterious husband!yohan that's occupying my mind. but anyways! here are the sketches.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1st sketch is me trying to see his body proportion in viking/barbarian attire. the upper left sketch was me wanting to see modern Yohan stripping off his clothes ig haha.. anyways, between Gaon/Jinyoung and Yohan/Jisung, it's VERY difficult to nail down his face. less lines doesn't resembles him at all and add some more lines he looks too realistic to my simplified version of Gaon/Jinyoung. it was hard trying to find the balance for these characters to be in the same picture and look like they belong in the same style. i want to do Yohan/Jisung's pretty face justice but i still struggled in this sketches. i think this was 2021? 2022?
2nd sketch— his long protruding neck lmao i haven't fully grasped how a person can pose naturally but it came out as if he has turtle neck syndrome going on. well done Yohan! you are a turtle apparently according to my hand. all jokes aside, this was me attempting to paint his face bcs i never really attempted to paint gahan. i doodled and sketched more than i paint/rendering and i'm on my way to learn more of rendering daily if possible, alongside with my daily sketches. you can also see i've tried to give some color to his attire and some medallion or such. do you see a braid there? i will get there, the braid is something significant in this story ;)
3rd sketch is basically me planning out his character design as a barbarian/viking chief. you can see bits of references cuts here and there, took me quite some time bcs i just started to really try my hands on concept character design properly— i love cloaks and capes and vikings has exactly just that, and the winter times are especially my favorite type of attire on them so i thought why not give Yohan polar bear fur as his official formal attire while still flaunting his wonderful body to the world be it summer or winter lmao. here's where you know it's fantasy. i'm sure people back then drink ales and what not to keep their body warm so they can go bare-chested in winter even but i'm sure the day after that they will regret it. but i make Yohan and his clan to have special abilities for living in cold places. doesn't mean i don't make them wear winter attire but this is only bcs i want him to be bare-chested xD the one I post here was before i dabble on the sketch a bit more. hopefully one day i can share it again with more updates for this au.
now.. onto Gaon's sketches.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
he's a Prince in this story. his parents, the King and the Queen, arranged a marriage for him for political reasons. but they have special reasons as to why they pick Yohan, aside from political purposes, to be their son's betrothed and gave him away to Yohan's barbarian clan.
1st sketch (ignore the upper left, that's Jinyoung from his other drama). i want to see him in medium and long hair length. there's a purpose to this. he has his canon Gaon hairstyle when he was the Prince in the palace. but with time and some adjustments living with Yohan and his barbarian clan rubs off on him. perhaps it's due to that, or he's grown tired to cut it off again and again (he has no one to groom him properly now unlike in the palace), practical reason is to maintain heat around his neck while in winter, or it's his idea of adapting and blending in with the enemy. you can't blame him for being wary. he's whisked away from his comfort place and home and married off to a fearsome and famous barbarian on the land at that time, almost willingly got raped by Yohan on 1st chapter (yes, you read that right). other reasons why he grows his hair, as i mentioned the culture rubs off on him, is something to do with the hair braiding too. and personal reason is that i want to see pretty Gaon in long hair lol
2nd sketch on the left was him on early days on Yohan's fur beddings. the right was him perhaps laughing out loud by some surprising and amusing thing Yohan said after living with him for some months, you can see the different hair length there. gosh he looks unalive in here lol idk why.. my sketches were still rigid here
3rd sketch is them after establishing a genuine intimate relationship and Yohan has to be away to fend off some unexpected visitors. unfortunately it cost Yohan some of his men's lives. but he made it back to his clan and his betrothed. i make it as if Gaon was anxious waiting for him and one of the barbarian shouted for Yohan's arrival and he ran immediately. lunged at Yohan perhaps, the barbarian Chief managed to catch him but didn't quite have the strength to carry them both upright as the weariness sinks into him post battle & adrenaline wearing off of him. he's home now, in Gaon's arms.
now.. the hair braiding.
barbarians/viking has long hair and braids on their hair. styled cascading down or up into a pony tail or a mohawk and such. idk if this is historically correct but i'm winging most of this anyway but the idea of braids in this story is that it's significant to lovers. it's a mark between special intimate relationship (like lovers, spouses, soulmates). one can have a braid or braid their lover's hair should they wish to, it's very intimate and special for them. jeweleries might have certain status symbol for them and their ranks but I also prefer these barbarians have something simple to symbolize their intimacy. something that can get overlooked but enough for their significant other to know (and some people) what it means.
I like the idea of Yohan having accessories for his attire but his hair is clean from braids. clearly it's saying something if you've read this far and seeing my sketches for their different stages of relationship. over the years of them finally developing feelings and genuinely established a relationship, despite already being married an Gaon almost got raped by Yohan, they are lovers.
yet Yohan never really initiates anything about him wanting to have braid(s) or braiding Gaon's hair. he might have explained about what braids are to Gaon when the bambi was curious or off-handedly commented something about it. Gaon really finds out the real meaning from Yohan's ppl and he wonders why Yohan never asks or wants braids from him. then he realizes Yohan has always been respectful to him, even years after that night he almost raped him. always keeping healthy distance, outside of their sex and other intimate physical affections, he usually waits until Gaon ask first regarding intimate things. not that he never initiates things, he figures something as serius and committed as this is something Gaon wants to have an option to bail out from. they were arranged to have marriage for political reasons after all, Gaon has the freedom to not have feelings for him as long as he stays within the wedding pact rules Yohan make with the King & the Queen ( for Gaon's sake too). He never expects to have feelings for the Prince and he always keeps the option of Gaon falling out of love of him one day. it is only fair, he thinks.
but then Gaon asks him if he wants Gaon to braid his hair. the Prince never ceases to make him falter. it still shocks and amuses him, to have someone have this much effect on him. even with nervousness and blushing state Gaon is in now after uttering those words.. Yohan wonders what he has done to have this kind of luxury to have someone this precious in his arms.
and if his people noticed a single braid just near the back of his neck when wind swept his hair or if he pulls his hair into a ponytail on hot summer days? they will all grin smugly.. Yohan likes to keep it a bit hidden from view mainly bcs it's practical and he doesn't want ppl to accidentally graze it off when he's having friendly wrestle matches or axe practices. or even having people cut it off when he's at war. he doesn't hide it per se, it's visible when it's visible. Gaon smiles sweetly and adoringly when he finds this out bcs to him, it feels as if Yohan is unconsciously protecting it. protecting their relationship, protecting Gaon.
and if Gaon walks out of Yohan's tent, that days when he asks if he can braid Yohan's hair, with a braid or several on his hair? visible to everyone? the people cheer and roar in celebration. they throw a huge feast and toast to their relationship, congratulating the power couple. wishing the gods to give these two their blessings and to protect them. they're finally able to see their Chief have a partner that is equal to him. it's a memorable day
but if you think this story doesn't come with heavy angst, tears, pain and betrayal.. well think again ;))
i will stop here. thankyou for reading! i hope i can pick up this au again in my drawings & writings

K-Pop Spotlight: WEi
As they transition from an unfamiliar first love to experiencing new passions, WEi is taking their fans, affectionately dubbed RUi, along for the journey. This week, we’re highlighting WEi to celebrate their latest mini-album [Love Pt.2 : Passion]. We caught up with the six-member boy group to chat about love songs, their first two years making music together, and their ideal locations to visit on holiday. Check out our full interview below!
Tell us about your new mini-album [Love Pt.2: Passion] and what you hope fans take away from it.
YONGHA: We’ve been continuing our album journey with the Love series, and I believe it reflects the passion that we have, just like the album is named after. We hope fans can watch how WEi’s love develops throughout the series.
DONGHAN: We highly recommend that fans would pay attention to our sexy vibes through this album!
Which non-WEi songs would make up the soundtrack of your lives?
SEOKHWA: I believe I have that popping magnetism that would make everybody around me happy. That’s why I feel like “POP” by Nayeon would be the right soundtrack for me.
JUNSEO: For me, it’s anything “4” by LANY. The song tells how the singer could do anything for their loved ones, and I relate to that a lot when I think of my fans.
Your fifth mini-album explores different definitions and ways of experiencing love–what are some of the first love songs you remember loving?
SEOKHWA: I remember singing Pixie Lott’s “Mama Do” back then. I fell in love with the song after watching Lee Hi singing it on K-Pop Star.
DONGHAN: I fell in love with K-pop after being obsessed with “U” by Super Junior.
What’s your favorite genre that WEi has experimented with so far? Are there any genres you want to try in the future?
SEOKHWA: We did try a lot of different genres. Whether it was sexy, or hip-hop, I think we targeted genres that were more popular with the audience. I personally love “BYE BYE BYE” the most. Rather than being an experimental artist, I wish to be an artist that can color any type of genre into WEi’s style.
DONGHAN: I loved working with all WEi songs! If there were a genre I would like to try, that would be…something that can show the sexier side of WEi.
If you could go on a special holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you bring with you?
YONGHA: I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland. I would love to watch the northern lights and go camping with our members.
YOHAN: My holiday would be staying at home…with my family that I love the most.
Is there a moment that you’d consider the highlight of your career up to now?
SEOKHWA: There were a lot of moments…but two stand out the most. During our showcase for our 3rd mini-album, my parents came to see me, and I cried a lot. Even our staff and members were crying too. The second moment was during our first concert in Korea. It was unforgettable because the members and I shared the same feelings during that concert, starting from the entrance.
DAEHYEON: I remember the last night of our first concert when we were commenting on stage. We all cried for a long time. It was because of thinking back on all we have done to come this far, and the time it took to see our fans in real life finally.
This year marks your second anniversary together—which member would you each say you’re closest with, and has that changed since your debut?
YONGHA: I’ve never thought about this thoroughly because all of us have gotten along with each other since day one. We are always happy together. :)
DONGHAN: I have specific moments where I need peace, so I like to be with members who are quiet and chill (maybe not SEOKHWA, though, haha). All jokes aside, WEi, as a group, we have gotten along really well since our debut.
Want more of WEi? Check out their music video for “Spray” here.

Do you think Soo Hyun and Ga On would have lasted if she hadn't died? I wonder how Yo Han "dying" would have impacted him, since dying and escaping to Switzerland were always Yo Han's intentions in a scenario where Soo Hyun hadn't died.
this is a very interesting question!!!!! and of course, this is just me thinking through this and by no means do i necessarily think it would've gone this way bc there's 101 scenarios in which we could create here.
that said, i think gaon would try his best to make it work with soohyun, but i think it would ultimately ruin them. or at the very least, put them in a spot where they resent each other, especially gaon.
there is not a world where gaon could live without yohan in some capacity - we've seen this in the show with him trying to leave and also confessing how much yohan (and elijah) mean to him. that is still true imo regardless of whether soohyun died or not. with gaon thinking yohan died and even him realizing he hadn't, gaon cared for him enough either way.
but i do think he'd stay behind and make it work with soohyun because he ran back to her thinking that's what he wanted, but i also believe it'd be a lie. that kiss was awkward as hell - with both of them seemingly realizing that it wasn't what they thought it would be. but gaon's too loyal for his own good, and i think especially with the professor's betrayal, the hold that soohyun and him had over gaon, would eventually start to crumble.
soohyun also made it known how much she hated yohan, but gaon never got to that point. he distanced himself simply bc he didn't want to become a person he couldn't recognize under yohan's belief system, but that never stopped him from working with yohan in the end. gaon promised soohyun to trust yohan first to handle the disaster that was unfolding, and then they'd look into him more. and if that had actually come to fruition instead of gaon's betrayal, they still would've found the truth.
maybe that might've swayed soohyun into liking yohan, but it was clear in the beginning she felt yohan was taking gaon away from her and the "light."
i don't think gaon would have to choose between the two if she were alive, but i do think that gaon would eventually realize that he isn't happy under her thumb. as friends who see each other whenever they can, at least there's some amount of distance, but if you're talking about a relationship where you're expected to typically be closer than friends, i think that would eventually fracture gaon's world view (again esp bc professor wasn't there either) of her by being so suffocatingly close.
and this might seem like a stretch, but i could also fully see gaon becoming repressed with his sexuality and living that lie until he couldn't anymore.
i just don't see a world where soohyun and gaon could've ever worked out beyond friends because really, their personalities are so different, too. gaon's dealing with a lot of childhood trauma and a completely different outlook in life that soohyun never had to experience. and that's not to say two people with two diff backgrounds can't date - bc that would be silly otherwise - but we see soohyun remaining positive while gaon lives with a suicidal mindset when the briefest of events happens that fold his reality in two. and even if mental health wasn't there, it's still very clear that the injustices that gaon faced have shaped his worldview that the law and order put in place is integral to upholding a good society, but he's also not afraid to see its flaws and find a loop hole for a better outcome (ie. not going yohan's lengths, but i do believe he'd be a compassionate judge when needed but unforgiving in circumstances required).

The Devil Judge Rewatch Ep 9 ( Part 2)
Continuation of Part 1, which can be found here.
We left off in Part 1 with clueless Gaon looking forward to Ms Ji's cooking.
And here we have him being so happy at the spread Ms Ji had prepared. And I guess maybe it had been a long while since he had someone cooking a proper meal for him. Maybe since his parents' deaths cause Soohyun and Professor Min didn't seem like the sort to be able to whip up such a thing. And neither could Elijah or Yohan as well.
Tumblr media
And then we see his expression going from this...
Tumblr media
To this.
Tumblr media
And hoping that it was just the soup that sucks. He had went on to try the ginseng kimichi.
Tumblr media
Only to realise that the tastiest thing that could be eaten - it was the rice.
With this, we have another misunderstanding getting cleared up.
Tumblr media
That Yohan had banned Ms Ji from cooking, and Elijah saying she disliked Korean cuisine. They were all due to something else and not what Ms Ji had thought. That Yohan was afraid she would poison him or that Elijah was being unappreciative.
In fact, it was Ms Ji using every healthy ingredient she could get her hands on that made it hard to stomach her cooking. And it goes to show how much she do care for Yohan and Elijah, despite how they weren't the most friendliest towards each other.
Suspecting each other in the wrongest way possible, most of the time. Yet that hadn't stopped their care and concern. And that is so much more heartwarming than to keep saying 'I love you' when your heart isn't in it.
Next, we have Gaon confronting Elijah. And I just love how cute the two are.
Tumblr media
To me, this is where I think Gaon had fallen further in love with this new found family of his.
Tumblr media
And maybe that is why he is so motivated to get the entire family to eat together. So much so that he had held the cutlery hostage and made Elijah call Yohan.
Tumblr media
To be continued in Part 3 as the next bit, I want to put the pics all together in one post.

Reaction to Ep 461
SPOILERS ALERT
I've been rooting for Daniel (Hyungseok) vs Logan (Taesang) forever so I'm pretty pleased. Then again now that I remember it, wasn't Logan defeated already in the homeless/first love arc?? I thought it was impressive that Danny did it but did later events make Logan dismiss it as trivial? Or did PTJ forget it? But then again in one of his vlogs he mentioned that older arc specifically as Danny's trigger for growth so yeah maybe Logan simply just deleted it from his brain?
Anyway some of the other fights unfortunately happened off-screen when in fact these are what readers had been waiting for.
Well, let's open for a jump scare review.
Tumblr media
HAHAHAHA [INSERT EVIL LAUGHTER]
The fight between Vin (Hobin) vs Changyoong itself imho is a bit underwhelming, but the fun side of it is Changyoong is utterly traumatized by scared of Vin.
Vin has no choice but to show his polycoria now since there's no replacing his super dark sunglasses for now (here's my begging PTJ to insert real consequences of this condition, especially since Vin's happened because of an accident).
Again I'm pretty satisfied with the Daniel vs Logan fight, even more so because there's a new flashback of a humiliating bullying scene that we've never seen in the school episodes (earliest arc). And to those who think that it's too much...well where I come from there are such awful bullies it's bordering on human rights violation (or even a crime).
But the most satisfying comeback from Danny is not the fight itself imho. It's the way he basically told Logan that he didn't care anymore (in my last review I mentioned that he doesn't think Logan is worth his time...and I was right).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also glad that PTJ erased whatever feelings of amicability between Vin and Logan that was briefly present during the God Dog arc. I feel like it's distanced Vin further from his earlier bully self (I do wish that he would apologize to Duke/Deokhwa tho, especially since he's now a huge fan).
Tumblr media
Also too bad that we are not privy to two action scenes. First, no onscreen action scenes with Jay at all. Like none. I get that things are going at the speed of lightning right now but I enjoy watching Systema and Arnis duels and Jay's action scenes were always enjoyable to me due to the elements of surprise (kinda like reading Gray/Sieun's fight scenes from Weak Hero).
Tumblr media
Second, Jake (Gimyung) was there (he's the sleeping dude in the ambulance) AS AN ALLIED MEMBER HECK YEAH. AND I'M GLAD TO SEE HIM IN CASUAL CLOTHES (looking much younger and fresher after a staycation in a hoodie). But we saw nothing of what he did.
Tumblr media
Well at least he left this in his wake (which impressed Taejin and a new goon Jo Yisoo).
Tumblr media
Overall, I'm looking forward to reading the next episode. I suppose having Jake around means that out of the three experiment victims, Samuel (Seongeun) is going to be rescued by Jake, then Johan (Yohan) by Zack, and Big Danny by Danny.

37 or 18 with gahan pretty please 😻
this some gooooood shit. i'm gonna get to the second prompt later. originally, i was going to write gahan reuniting in yohan's bedroom after gaon finds the blueprints. i enjoy a good love confession like every other sap on here, plus that scene would lead nicely into a one shot i'm toying with where gaon stays with the kangs for a few days before they leave korea for good.
but then i thought, yohan's always showing his affection. it's time for him to use his words. so we ended up here. thanks for dropping a prompt and giving me something to play with anon.
hope you enjoy!
---
did you miss me? + gahan
yohan wakes up confused and in pain, not confused because he's in pain, but confused because gaon is sitting beside him when he should be halfway across the city with "his world".
'did you miss me?' asks gaon, lazing in the armchair with a strange energy yohan could parse out if he wasn't in so much pain and damn, being shot was inconvenient but it was a whole lot more manageable than the terrifying k-shaped hollow in his heart.
'elijah called me saying you needed help,' says gaon, unfolding his limbs like a large cat, 'but she neglected to mention it was because you'd been shot, which means she didn't trust i would come.'
'and that got me thinking that this shit,' and gaon's expression is so brutal, agonized and enraged, that yohan swallows, 'keeps happening because you don't tell people before heading into danger because you don't trust anyone to have your back, and god forbid you need anyone.'
'so instead of asking questions like "what the fuck happened?" or "who did this to you?", i'm going to ask the most important one because it's the one that's going to determine whether i stay or go: kang yohan, did you miss me?'
--
i'm skirting the five sentence cap rule through grautuatious use of commas and cliffhangers. but on the other hand, you get to choose your own adventure. so what does our depraved cunty little kyh say?

~ the devil judge fics that rewired my dna ~
so uhm here’s my small silly little list of some tdj fic that has altered my soul because let me tell you. when a tdj fic hits it HITS. so maybe there’ll be a fic here that you haven’t read that you’ll enjoy here
these are all gahan because yes and also all completed because i’ve been hurt too many times before. also i love all of these fics very dearly so they’re not in any order
Tumblr media
➤ it’s here i’ll be with you by mcreary
➣ Mature, ~27k words, Post-canon, Angst with a happy ending
➣ Gaon keeps attempting to fix things, but somehow, one part always seems to be missing.
➣ for me, this is THE post-canon gahan fic. what stands out for me is while gaon may be awfully lovesick, he doesn’t completely isolate himself - still maintains and forms friendships with people. watching the development of this and the way he heals is EXQUISITE and it’s written EXQUISITELY. the yearning has a wonderful payoff too. it’s just really fucking amazing guys plz read it
➤ Gravitational Pull by Amethystina
➣ Teen, ~22k words, Ep 13 canon divergence
➣ As grateful as Ga On is that Soo Hyun rescued him from Bamboo Spear's violent mob, he can tell she's lying when she claims to have heard about it on the police radio. That explanation just doesn't add up. So Ga On pressures her to tell the truth and, to his surprise, she reveals that Kang Yo Han was the one who sent her.
That one simple admission sets off a series of events that Ga On could never have predicted — events that bring out feelings he's done his best to ignore.
And desires he realizes he might not be strong enough to resist.
➣ i like how this fic doesn’t ignore how strongly gaon obviously feels for soohyun - i mean she’s been the only person for him to rely on for years. yet despite that, gaon works through what he actually wants and feels and chooses yohan. i cannot get over how well gaon’s inner thoughts are written. in fact, i can not get over how well the characters are written, full stop.
➤ Once you say it out loud, it can’t be undone by Ivrigasked
➣ Mature, ~9k words, 5+1, Domestic
➣ Alternative title: Five times Gaon catches Yohan off guard, and the one time he sees it coming.
➣ sometime domestic-style fics can be overly sickly but this is not one!! love the follow of gahan’s relationship and it’s written so well and smoothly. the yohan pov is nice too :)
➤ Destroy Me More by saturate
➣ Explicit, 6.5k words, Ep 12 canon divergence, Sexual Content
➣ “What kind of monster am I becoming?” Gaon asks, then, and wishes he could regret it, this becoming. He knows that Yohan is a monster, in some ways. Knows that only another monster could stand on his level, be his equal, and Gaon yearns to stand beside Yohan with an intensity that hollows him out.
Yohan’s hand on his shoulder, his neck, his cheek. Gaon shudders. Wants more. Wants everything. “It may be hard,” Yohan says, and his ears are flushed red, like something in this is getting to him, too, “but it can’t be helped.”
➣ i love episode rewrites! really wish this is what happened in episode 12 ngl. absolute nailed the characters and their mannerisms and their incredibly hot dynamic. there’s some lines in this that making me go fucking feral - an absolute masterpiece when it comes to that and the writing overall is just great. i come back to this a lot just to scream
➤ Bedroom Hymns [series] by godotismissing
➣ Explicit, ~31k words, Sexual content, ….various kinks
➣ Kinky Gahan fics
➣ i mean it’s porn. but if you want some excellent tasteful well written porn for gahan these are all the PERFECT fics. some of these have pretty different …… premises but they’re all EXTREMELY hot and will unleash all the pent up tension you have after watching the amount of sexual tension they have in the show jesus christ
➤ underneath the waterfall by vi (imvi)
➣ Mature, ~21k words, Post-canon, Hurt/Comfort, Angst with a happy ending
➣ They’ve always been different kinds of wounded animals.
➣ for me, this is THE other post-canon gahan fic. it hurts sososo much then carefully puts you back together. like gaon is very sad but yohan comes back to mend him and it’s just so. everything
➤ path of the fossils by noctevicos
➣ General Audiences, ~1.5k, Fluff, Intimacy
➣ “You can touch me, you know. You won’t hurt me.”
“I’m trying not to,” Yohan says, and then his eyes widen and he freezes, as if he hadn’t meant to say it out loud.
Too late, thinks Gaon. I see you.
➣ i come back to this one a lot because there’s something so tender and delicate about it that i love. it paints such a beautiful picture. it’s written so wonderfully and it’s so just ugh everything i really just melt when i think about it
i may add to this in the future but for now. go show these fics some love 🔫

Sunshine in the Mirror - A Breakdown
This will be a very long write-up of my thoughts on the Genjitsu no Yohane Sunshine in the Mirror anime. I will be starting with an episode-by-episode look at the story and then delving into some talking points about the show. NOTE: There will be significant spoilers, so please don't read this unless you've finished watching the anime or have no desire to continue watching. Also, I apologize for the length of this post and if I sound too aggressive or defensive.
Coming-of-Age Story
From the very beginning, Sunshine in the Mirror sets itself up to tell a coming-of-age story, specifically the story of Yohane overcoming her social anxiety and finding her place in the world. The first sign of this is the failed singing audition in Tokai and subsequent phone call in episode 1, where we see that Yohane is quite dependent on her mother, both financially and likely otherwise (being too dependent on others is a theme that comes up repeatedly as the story goes on). While this is not unusual for a 16-year-old, and neither is her naïveté about working more than three days a week, both show that Yohane simply isn't prepared to live an adult life yet - a life where she has to take responsibility for her own actions and provide for herself, especially when these two traits are combined with her inability to talk to most people comfortably. While it might be easy to say "just get over it," the reality is that life is usually not as simple as that. It takes significant time and support to get over that small teenage view of the world. But Yohane doesn't have as much time as a teenager in our world would due to the lack of any sort of school system to train her to be a productive adult (I will elaborate on this more later). As a result, she finds herself dependent on Lailaps to guide her through most situations, from how to talk to Hanamaru again to establishing a way she can get by every day in Numazu, at least in the short term.
While singing for Hanamaru in episode 1 is an important step for Yohane in communicating with people better, it's episode 2 where we see her take bigger strides in understanding how adult life works and settling into the role that, as we learn much later, Lailaps has created for her. Of course, her progress isn't without its bumps in the road. Being a fortune teller sounds like an easy enough job, but even that requires effort to pull off, something Yohane clearly didn't know before attempting it. That's not to mention accidentally hurting Hanamaru's feelings by insisting that money is all that matters in a working adult life (something that a number of grown adults in real life seem to believe as well). Nevertheless, thanks to Lailaps, Yohane starts to understand that some of her beliefs were mistaken. Her subsequent decision to make up with and support Hanamaru is perhaps the first sign of taking initiative that she shows in the story, with the second coming in the next episode along with the first sign of how dangerous the Calamity can be.
There's not too much to say about this episode as it largely consisted of the "Be as One" fight scene and Mari's introduction. The one thing to point out here is that Yohane takes an important, albeit not flashy step forward by getting Dia and Chika to stop arguing and start cooperating. Saying something like "hey, get it together" might not sound like anything of note, but for someone who struggles to speak with strangers, saying that to two strangers who are wielding weapons is legitimately an accomplishment (ask an introvert in real life and they will probably agree). The praise Yohane receives from her more combat-adept peers seems to give her a boost in confidence, something which carries over, albeit in subtle ways, into both her conversation with Mari and the events of episode 4.
Episode 4 is where we see Yohane get more of a glimpse into the everyday working lives of You and Kanan. While she starts to appreciate the value of contributing to society in episode 2, she's still only doing odd jobs right now, so having a chance to be on the front lines alongside girls who have established jobs is a valuable experience for her. This is also where we see the confidence boost from episode 3 start to show. There are a few times where Yohane instinctively gives a retort in response to something Kanan says, only to apologize afterward, even though Kanan doesn't think she's being rude at all. Yohane is starting to feel more comfortable being herself around people now, though she still has a little ways to go before she can really consider herself their equal. While delivering mail and repairing a swing may not be huge accomplishments or relate specifically to the trials that Yohane must overcome as a person, they do represent a recurring theme in the first half of the story: the idea of Yohane learning more about how to find her place in the world from the girls who have, for the most part, already found their own places and want to help Yohane find hers. Having spent this time learning from her more life-experienced peers, she's now ready to start acting on what she's learned so far. Going into the next episode, this is where we start to see some payoff from the buildup that has taken place up until now. Episode 5 is Mari’s episode, i.e., the episode where we gain more insight into why Mari has been so reclusive up until now. While we see that she at least somewhat trusts Dia, enough to indirectly help her keep Numazu up and running anyway, it’s Yohane who is able to get Mari to open up a little bit more and take a chance on the people of Numazu. Despite struggling with her own social anxiety, Yohane by this point has learned a few things from her peers and experienced first-hand the value in trusting and cooperating with others. It’s this experience that allows her to find the right things to say to get Mari to take a stroll through the central town of Numazu and see how the townsfolk feel about her after so many years. And it’s the combination of this experience and how she can relate to Mari that allows her to help her new friend through a difficult moment and learn to trust the townsfolk. This was something Yohane simply wasn’t capable of until now. It’s one of the more overt displays of Yohane taking action based on what she’s learned from the other girls, and one that comes up again in the next episode.
If episode 5 is Mari’s episode, then episode 6 could be called Riko’s episode, albeit perhaps to a lesser extent. After their encounter at the tree stump, Yohane and Mari largely stick to Riko like glue for most of the episode, seeing some of her self-doubt at one or two points. Just like how Yohane would not have been able to help Mari at the beginning of the story, the two of them may not have been able to spare Riko much attention if not for the growth each one has experienced by this point. While the “Hey, dear my friends” MV doesn’t depict events that literally happen, it very clearly depicts the nature of the relationship between these three: Yohane, who got a series of important helping hands from Lailaps and everyone else, was able to (figuratively) help Mari to her feet, and then the two of them together are able to help Riko to her feet. While Sunshine in the Mirror is largely the story of Yohane growing up with the help of her more life-experienced peers, these two episodes show that she is not the only one who has room for growth. Having now played a major role in improving the lives of two other girls on top of her smaller roles in helping out around Numazu, Yohane is starting to feel more confident in her abilities, and she starts thinking about taking initiative in certain situations. The end of episode 6 marks the end of the first half of the story, both episodically and thematically.
These six episodes were largely about introducing the setting and characters as well as having Yohane learn important lessons about living as a proper adult from the other girls. The remaining seven episodes make up what could be called an ‘independence arc’ of sorts. This half of the story focuses on Yohane going through that time all teenagers experience - the time when they’re ready to start branching out on their own more and no longer want their parents (or in Yohane’s case, Lailaps) looking over their shoulder and making decisions for them.
Episode 7 features the first instance where Yohane somewhat rejects the attempts Lailaps makes to help her. Yohane feels the need to take initiative and try to make the “girls’ night” the best it can be for everyone (except herself), partly, as we’re later told, because it’s still in her nature to want to be this awesome person who does cool things and receives a lot of praise from others. This shows us that in spite of her progress so far, Yohane still has some growing up to do. But it’s noteworthy that she’s actually willing to put in work to accomplish this now instead of trying to take the easiest possible path to fame. It’s also noteworthy that she recognizes how she still needs to rely on Lailaps for some things and, in spite of her earlier remarks, is openly grateful for her longtime companion coming to her aid again. Yohane learns another two important but less obvious lessons from Lailaps and the other girls: that it’s not good to ignore your own needs and desires and that it’s okay to rely on others for things as long as you’re not trying to have them do everything for you. After we have a chance to see everyone enjoying what is basically a day off, a break from their usual working routines, we see Yohane apply these lessons by asking the other girls to sing with her at the upcoming festival (a request that is met with an ominous reaction from Lailaps) as she doesn’t feel comfortable singing in front of a crowd all by herself yet. This leads us into the controversial(?) Episode 8.
The festival episode is certainly one point in the story where we don’t see as much growth from Yohane compared to most other episodes. Instead, it serves as more of a check-in, a way to see how far she’s come as well as how much room she still has to grow. For most of the episode, we see everyone either running stands or just enjoying the festival. In particular, we see that Yohane appears to have learned that the proper way to run a fortune-telling shop is to make vague statements about people’s future and not try to predict the weather. She also appears to be a little more comfortable being herself now, exchanging some light banter with the little kids from the earlier episodes, having them accept her doing so, and even getting their assistance running the food stall without having to ask them. By this point, Yohane has a very different reputation in Numazu than she did in the beginning; she’s started to establish a place for herself in the town she once turned her back on. The second portion of the episode, featuring the scramble to find Yohane’s lost staff, has several things happen, albeit in a way that perhaps could have been reorganized. The main takeaway from the ordeal is that Yohane is still just starting to climb out of her shell and is at a point where she is very vulnerable to the idea of failure. She’s come a long way since she first returned to Numazu, and she’s terrified of having everything she’s built up come crashing down all at once. While it may not seem like a big deal for her to lose her staff when she just plans to sing on a stage with the other girls, the point is that she’s dependent on that staff and doesn't think she can sing with everyone and stop the Calamity without it. If she were unable to get up on that stage and sing, she might well have retreated deep into her shell out of shame, undoing all of the progress she’s made up until now (similar to something we see in a later episode, but to a much greater extent). Fortunately for our heroine, the staff is found, and the performance goes smoothly (except for stopping the Calamity, as we learn later). The one other thing of note here is how Yohane lashes out at Lailaps over the lost staff before apologizing later. Now that we’ve had a couple of episodes designed to bring all nine girls together, it’s time to see exactly how the changing relationship between the self-proclaimed siblings has affected Yohane’s growth and how it will affect her from now on.
Episode 9 begins with Yohane waking up from a dream (which happens to give us a major clue to the truth about Lailaps) and feeling very unmotivated to do much of anything. While this could be seen as a sign of regression back into the girl who thought she could get by doing the bare minimum in life, it’s more likely a sign that Yohane is feeling lost. She thinks she’s just accomplished something major (and says as much in a way which hints that she actually hasn’t), but now she’s at a loss for what to do next. Is stopping some force that she doesn’t understand what she really hoped to accomplish? Should she just be an errand girl or a fortune teller for the rest of her life? There are probably a number of thoughts like this going on in her head, and she has no idea how to sort them out. While there is a classic case of ‘just a little too late’ following this as Yohane tries and fails to keep up with Lailaps, the next thing of note is the conversation between these two later in the episode. Beyond the foreshadowing that was actually strong enough for seemingly everyone to notice, the key takeaways here are Yohane recognizing that it was Lailaps who created the opportunity for her to help out around the town as an errand girl, giving her some purpose to fulfill in Numazu, and realizing that what she really wants to accomplish is something she still hasn’t grasped yet. After a quick check-in moment featuring Yohane fitting right in with the other girls, no longer timid around them, we have the chance to see what our heroine thinks she needs to do in order to truly find her place in this world as the next episode begins.
The first part of Episode 10 follows up on both Yohane’s decision to pursue what she thinks she’s missing and her failed audition from the first episode, reminding us that she wanted to be a professional singer. Still being largely unable to say no to people when they insist on things, Yohane inevitably gets swept up into giving a speech about her time in Numazu and her second chance at a singing audition in Tokai. This leads to another disagreement with Lailaps, though surprisingly, it’s arguable that this one isn’t any fault of Yohane’s. She does make a bit of an insensitive remark about Lailaps “babysitting” her, but then she almost immediately says that she would like Lailaps to come with her both to Tokai and to her speech, only for the wolf to strongly deny both requests without any explanation. Naturally, this weighs heavily on the girl’s mind as she prepares to give her speech, even as the usual children we see around surprisingly treat her a little bit like a minor celebrity. The fact that Yohane is even able to give a speech in the first place (at least until the absence of Lailaps and the return of the Calamity) is one of the more obvious signs of how much she’s grown over the course of the story. After all, this is the same girl who could barely talk to Hanamaru in the beginning, even when it was just the two of them. Once the Calamity starts causing trouble again, we see another, perhaps more subtle sign of just how far Yohane has come when she goes to help Hanamaru and insists that she will protect Shishinoshin (Hanamaru’s boar companion). She had no sense of responsibility at all when she first returned to Numazu, and she was too scared to branch out and do much of anything involving other people except when she had to. And now here she is, swearing to protect her friend’s companion from hyper-aggressive deer, magical lightning, and potentially other unpleasant things that she doesn’t really understand at all. While she doesn’t end up doing much to resolve this situation in the next episode, her reaction to not being able to help is night and day compared to what it would have been had this happened much earlier.
The immediate danger to Hanamaru and Shishinoshin is resolved quickly in Episode 11, largely thanks to Million Dollar. While it’s unclear how Yohane feels about being unable to do anything to fend off the corrupted deer, there is zero subtlety about how useless she feels for not having ended the Calamity a few episodes ago as she throws away the staff she’s been so dependent on. This is a curious point, as it represents throwing away the bonds she’s built with the other girls (which Lailaps explicitly says at one point). It’s unclear if Yohane is aware of this and that her throwing away the staff is a sign that she doesn’t think she deserves the others’ friendship or if she’s doing so to remind herself of her own perceived failure. Whatever the case may be, we see signs that she might be on the verge of remembering or figuring out something important when she grows frustrated with Lailaps for not sharing details about what happened between them in the past (perhaps not unlike a large number of viewers watching this show). While Lailaps takes it upon herself to retrieve the staff - the symbol of everything Yohane has accomplished up until now, our heroine is practically abducted by most of her friends, who are determined to cheer her up and restore her confidence. It speaks to just how depressed she is that even the silliest antics from the other girls aren’t enough to make her feel any better. It’s not until Chika’s charismatic speech that Yohane gains a renewed sense of purpose and sets off to find Lailaps, setting up for the final resolution between the two of them.
Episode 12 is mostly about resolving the mysteries surrounding Lailaps and how those relate to Yohane’s ability to face both the Calamity as well as the challenges of everyday life. Prior to the big resolution, however, there is one other scene worth drawing attention to. When one of the children reports that her sister is outside somewhere, Yohane is the one to volunteer to find her, insisting that the others “leave it to the local errand girl.” While it’s not the first time in recent episodes that Yohane has done something like this (she did insist on protecting Shishinoshin in the previous episode), her word choice represents a dramatic shift from the early episodes where she was very reluctant to do random odd jobs around the town. Of course, rescuing a child is far from just an odd job, but it’s the desire to be useful that matters here. Not long after this comes the climax of the episode, where we learn that Yohane unintentionally cast magic to transfer a part of herself to Lailaps so she could have a close friend (or sister) to communicate with. This scene reminds us that Yohane used to have trouble talking to people in any real meaningful way and frames this major childhood event as a way for her to finally have someone she can communicate with freely. It’s here that we also learn more about what Lailaps has been thinking this whole time, namely that she’s been trying her best to look out for Yohane but has grown attached to the point where she’s a little afraid of going back to the days when the two couldn’t talk to each other, and she perhaps has been reluctant to face that fact until now. As the two communicate, they both accept that it’s necessary for Yohane to reclaim the part of herself that she gave to Lailaps as a child, not just in order to stop the Calamity, but also in order to live a functional adult life. The exchange happens, and now Yohane is ready to take initiative again and finally stop the Calamity.
Much of Episode 13 is spent showing how the Calamity is affecting everyone’s lives and contrasting that with what their lives are like when it isn’t a threat. But to focus on our heroine once again, Yohane shows her newfound confidence and understanding of herself by using her magic to communicate (telepathically!) with the other girls and ask them for their help in one last song, the aptly-named “Song of Courage,” to restore Numazu to normal. But of course it won’t be that simple, as she becomes trapped in some sort of magic bubble before the song is finished. She again doubts herself here, but this time it takes significantly less to get her back on her feet, as some encouragement from everyone gives her the strength to break free of her imprisonment and grant even more magic to their song, even having it reach every single person in Numazu. This last renewed effort is finally enough to put the Calamity to rest (for now?) and return everyone’s daily lives to normal. After checking in on everyone, we see Yohane telling Lailaps about what she’s learned and her new, more mature outlook on life. The story (so far?) concludes with the other girls all coming up to Yohane to talk about wanting to continue singing as a group going forward, perhaps implying that Yohane would be the one to take the lead on such endeavors, a role she never could have handled even halfway through this series but is likely prepared for now.
Now that I’ve broken down some key points about how Sunshine in the Mirror is a coming-of-age story, I want to focus on some common talking points surrounding the show. While my opinion on the anime may be obvious by now, I want to preface this next section by saying that I’m not trying to attack or change anyone’s opinion or necessarily “defend” the anime in this write-up. I only want to bring up ideas here that I feel are worth considering.
Fantasy
There has been plenty of discussion over how much of a fantasy show Sunshine in the Mirror really is and the expectations surrounding a show that is advertised as fantasy. This discussion, perhaps indirectly, brings up an important question: what defines “fantasy”? An adventure in another world? Characters fighting for their lives in a world with magic and strange creatures? Or perhaps just a world with different rules compared to our own, typically including magic and a variety of creatures that don’t exist in our world? While Sunshine in the Mirror does not feature much fighting or a traditional adventure about exploring the world, it does feature a world where magic exists and which features certain important differences from our own world. The first episode introduces us first to the Calamity, some kind of seemingly magical force (which we later learn is technically part of the world itself) that threatens to disrupt or even consume Numazu, and then later to the fact that magic not only exists in this world but is something Yohane is able to wield (e.g., transforming a stick into a staff), even if she doesn’t understand exactly how to wield it. Oh, and a couple of fantastical animals in the form of Lailaps and Shishinoshin. Later episodes introduce us to other instances of magic, technology, and fantastical beings in the form of Million Dollar’s blasters, the Scarlet Delta armor set, the cannon You uses to deliver mail, Tonosama (Kanan’s frog mech), the fairy version of Ruby, as well as Mari, who has horns and the ability to hear things other people can’t hear in this world, and her familiars. Looking at it like this, it appears the anime does feature plenty of fantasy content.
Of course, what’s most important is how much the fantasy content features in the show. Some elements, like Shishinoshin and Tonosama or the blasters and armor set, don’t come up very often, and it could be argued that their relevance to the plot is minimal. On the other hand, Mari’s horns and Ruby’s very existence as a fairy are more relevant to their characters. And of course, Lailaps and the Calamity are two of the most important plot points in the whole show. It’s fair to question why the less common elements aren’t featured more, but it’s important to keep in mind that this story only has thirteen episodes of runtime (and there are likely several reasons for this), so featuring more scenes that feature those elements would require replacing existing scenes. It could be argued that some scenes could easily be replaced, and perhaps even that the show would benefit as a result, but this could be argued of virtually every story that is more than a few paragraphs long, and it may be more difficult to argue that enough scenes could be replaced to accommodate more of the less-featured fantasy elements without telling a completely different story. The writers wanted to tell a coming-of-age story that takes place in a fantasy world, not a fantasy adventure with coming-of-age elements. While it’s perfectly fine to prefer the latter over the former, it’s much more difficult to argue that the writers’ preference is objectively worse. Additionally, it’s not unusual for certain elements in fantasy stories to not affect the plot much until later in a story (some of which can be very, very long), or even just remain as background elements for the entire story, not unlike some of the fantasy elements from Sunshine in the Mirror. This doesn’t mean that the fantasy elements were necessarily utilized as much or as best as possible, even considering the show’s length and the main point of the story (Yohane learning how to be a proper adult). It just means that what constitutes a “good” fantasy story is not necessarily straightforward.
Additionally, there is one other (possibly underappreciated) element of the “Mirror Numazu,” as I’ll call it, that is different from our world and also very important to the story: the expectation that 16-year-olds should have adult responsibilities (like working) and the lack of a school system to prepare teenagers for adult life. In the original Sunshine, Yoshiko has plenty of growing up to do, and while she experiences some character development, it’s hard to say she’s ready to be an adult by the end of the story. This is not a bad thing because she still has two more years of high school to prepare her for adult life. But in Sunshine in the Mirror, Yohane has to learn how to be a responsible adult now. While the other residents of Numazu are happy to help her along the way, the fact remains that she doesn’t have nearly the same amount of time or the same support structure that she would have at that age in a modern world. That might not sound like a big deal, but how many of us can truly say that we were proper, responsible adults less than a year into high school? For those of us who have finished school, how well could we have handled being thrust into a working adult life at the age of 16? Maybe we could have adapted to it in time, but it certainly would have been a more challenging experience for us. While not exclusive to fantasy worlds, per se, this difference between the Mirror Numazu and the original Numazu is arguably the single most important and unrecognized fantasy element in this story. Perhaps it’s disappointing to some that such a thing would be more important to the story than the force that threatens to consume an entire town (and possibly more), but this may have more to do with the expectations surrounding the story than the story itself.
Expectations and Differences from Sunshine
What exactly were the expectations for Sunshine in the Mirror coming in? Personally speaking, I really only ever saw comments about how this show would be the glorious return of Aqours, gracing anime again after more than four years. I never really saw anything more specific than that. It seems there are fans who expected just that. But there are other fans who seemed to expect something else. I’m aware there is a manga subtitled “Unpolarized Reflection” that apparently has more action-adventure elements. Were fans who were less satisfied with the anime expecting it to adapt that? If so, that’s not entirely unreasonable, though it’s important to keep in mind that the other Love Live! Manga tell largely different stories compared to their anime counterparts, so logic suggests that this would also be true for Genjitsu no Yohane. The idea that the two would tell different stories is also supported by the differing subtitles: Sunshine in the Mirror and Unpolarized Reflection. While it’s not unusual for an anime adaptation to add or remove subtitles, changing a subtitle into something completely different is often a sign that the two pieces of media will tell very different stories that take place in the same world. So it seems there was a relatively low chance of the anime directly adapting the manga.
But perhaps the expectations from less-satisfied fans were unrelated to the manga. Perhaps such fans were just expecting a more conventional action-adventure fantasy story? Or maybe something that would be very different from the original Sunshine? Or perhaps just something that would appeal to a larger audience than an idol show would? Or maybe an anime that would clearly be one of the best anime in a long time? Or, based on some comments, the expectation was simply that it would either be action-adventure or slice-of-life/drama but not a mix of the two. I don’t mean to claim that any of these are wrong. But I’d like to break down each one.
Starting with a conventional action-adventure fantasy, why would this be an expectation for fans who are not familiar with the manga? Simply because it’s the most common type of fantasy story? Or because of “Fallen Angel Yohane”? There is some logic in these expectations, but consider for a moment what spinoffs are usually like. How often are spinoffs made in a completely different genre compared to the works they derived from? There are examples like the Attack on Titan: Junior High, if we want to count that, but that’s an example of an action show having a comedy as a spinoff. Arguably one of the more prominent spinoffs is A Certain Scientific Railgun, derived from A Certain Magical Index. But that’s an example of an action show derived from another action show; if anything, Railgun has more slice-of-life elements compared to Index. The closest thing to meeting this expectation may be The Idolmaster: Xenoglossia, a one-episode OVA about idols fighting in mechas. To my (admittedly limited) knowledge, this was not very popular. Maybe that’s just because it was made at a time when idol shows were not especially common, when Idolmaster fans wanted to see an adaptation of the games, and when there were lower expectations for anime in general. But even if Xenoglossia might be more well-liked now than when it first came out, it would still mark only one example of a non-action show receiving an action-oriented spinoff. Does one instance mean it’s reasonable to expect that of another idol show spinoff?
What about something very different from the original Sunshine? It’s certainly reasonable to want something that differs from what we’ve come to expect, but this brings up a few questions. For one, what specific things should be different? And how different should those things be? What elements should be removed, and what elements should be retained? And why? To focus on my own opinion again, I personally consider the main point of Love Live! to be how the girls come together towards a goal and help each other grow as people in the process, and this is the main thing that makes me such a big fan of the franchise, along with things like the type of comedy and the specific balance of comedy and drama the franchise uses. These elements are mostly present in Sunshine in the Mirror, albeit with much more focus on Yohane than any of the other girls. Can a story be considered an entry in the LL! franchise if it doesn’t have these things? Was the expectation for Sunshine in the Mirror to not have them? Or maybe to only have some of them? To be an event-focused story instead of a character-focused story? It certainly wouldn’t be wrong to prefer any of these things. But this just brings back the questions of what defines this franchise for each fan. How much can change without this anime becoming, for all intents and purposes, part of a completely different franchise? I don’t believe there are any right or wrong answers to these questions, but I believe they are questions worth asking.
As far as appealing to a larger audience goes, this would be somewhat understandable. Many of us may desire to share our love for LL! with more people, especially people who dismiss the franchise simply because it’s about idols. But what may be less obvious is that there are disadvantages to having more people engage with a piece of media or media franchise. For example, consider the popular YouTuber known as Gigguk, someone known for a dislike of traditional idol shows and a love of action, adventure, fantasy, and different takes on concepts he normally dislikes (such as Oshi no Ko’s depiction of idols). Prior to Sunshine in the Mirror’s first episode, there was a meme about how Gigguk is such a sucker for fantasy that he planned to watch this show even knowing it was a Love Live! spinoff. For what it’s worth, I have no idea how he actually felt about the show or if he even finished it (though I personally doubt he did). Assuming he didn’t finish it, then the show would likely have to be very different and probably either very action-oriented and/or have writing in the top 1% of all anime for him to finish watching and legitimately enjoy it. If this happened, rather than make him appreciate the main LL! entries more, it would likely just lead to him complaining (not all that seriously, to be fair) that future entries weren’t like this spinoff. Of course, this isn’t just about one person. This also applies to many more people who have similar likes and dislikes.That said, it’s possible that changing the anime to appeal to a larger audience would also attract viewers who would actually become fans of the franchise. But with new fans comes new expectations. When a franchise grows bigger, fans both new and old may start to think about how this increase in size means the franchise is making a lot more money, and that with more money, the franchise can and should become better. There are two problems with this way of thinking. The first is that fans may start to think that every penny the franchise makes can be applied to every part of the franchise at the same time as opposed to the money being distributed among the many different products that make the money in the first place (like spending money earned from merchandise on animation instead of spending it to create new merchandise). This is an unrealistic expectation that can lead to a lot of negativity. The second problem is that fans may apply this thinking to aspects of the franchise that cannot be objectively improved with more money. For example, fans may come to expect better stories and writing, but they may disagree over what actually constitutes better stories and writing. Some new fans may prefer to see the stories change in certain ways, while other fans may be uncomfortable with those specific changes. It could be argued that this already happens within the fandom, but with even more people watching these anime, this could happen even more. Is that something existing fans want?
Then there is the idea of Sunshine in the Mirror being one of the absolute best anime to be made in a long time. This expectation seems to assume that any of the other LL! anime were unquestionably among the best anime around the time they first aired and did not have any elements that could be criticized. And maybe that is the case for a number of fans. But if so, then what is it about Sunshine in the Mirror that makes it inferior to its modern-world counterpart? Is it just the idea that it should be full fantasy or not fantasy at all (as discussed below)? Or perhaps it’s not about LL! being near perfection. Perhaps this expectation just assumes that with enough money, this level of quality could easily be achieved (see above for why this is unrealistic). There are also two more questions that come with this expectation: how many stories, anime or otherwise, in general could be considered the best or at least one of the best around the time they came out, and is it reasonable to expect any given story to be one of them?
Finally, there is the idea of whether Sunshine in the Mirror should be a mix of more traditional fantasy anime and slice-of-life/drama. Here’s yet another question: if someone argues that it shouldn’t be, then why not? Is there a rule that says anime should only be one or the other? If not, then maybe the question should instead be about how a mix of the two should be balanced. That is, how much of one should there be compared to the other and how often should the story change focus from one to the other? Once again, I won’t even try to answer any of these questions because I don’t believe they necessarily have any right or wrong answers. I just believe they’re important questions to consider when thinking about what the show was and what it could have or should have been. And this leads into the final topic I wanted to discuss.
What’s the Point?
What exactly is the point of Sunshine in the Mirror? Why does this anime even exist? It’s not reinventing the wheel or trying to establish a new direction for Love Live! or anything like that. And it’s not telling a story about the “Fallen Angel Yohane.” So why does it exist? While it’s obviously impossible to know exactly what the staff was thinking when planning the anime, the simplest explanation is that they just wanted to tell a coming-of-age story about how Yoshiko might deal with her social anxiety and find her place in a world with no school system and where she doesn’t have her chuunibyou persona to fall back on, perhaps because they consider that to be the most important part of her character. But if that’s the case, then why make it in a fantasy world? If they just wanted to tell a story about a girl growing up and they’re not going to include any fallen angels or demons or dark magic or anything, why not just have it take place in the modern world and just have Yoshiko not go to school because of crippling social anxiety? This question also has a simple answer: why not? While the world of Genjitsu no Yohane is certainly not explained in significant detail, it does (as discussed earlier) contain a number of fantasy elements to make the setting fundamentally different from a modern world. And there are fantasy stories that could feasibly take place in a more modern world without rewriting the entire story. A protagonist with magic powers could still have supernatural abilities in some form (like Mob Psycho 100), and fantastical creatures could still appear in our world (like Digimon) and even live in our world (like Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid). On the other side of the spectrum, there are stories like Restaurant to Another World, which features plenty of fantasy elements. But many of those elements are not especially relevant to the plot and mainly exist to create a less mundane setting. Of course, there are also stories that would not be the same at all if they did not take place in a fantasy world (like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End). And while perhaps not to the same extent, Sunshine in the Mirror also contains fantasy elements that may be difficult to separate from the story (as discussed earlier). But what I’m trying to say here is that it’s not unusual for a story in a fantasy world to be less about the world or any single fantastical element and more about something that could more or less take place in our world. So why does any writer create a fantasy story that could take place in the modern world without any major adjustments? The answer is the same as it was for the last question: why not?
Closing
To close this excessively long breakdown, I want to make it clear again that none of this is meant to attack anyone or necessarily change anyone’s opinion. In spite of everything I’ve said, I have no problem with people simply not liking the show for what it was. The Love Live! franchise is very important to me, and that includes a spinoff that does not even feature the brand in its name. And after seeing some of the discourse surrounding the show, I just wanted to express my thoughts on it in a relatively organized way. If anyone reading this thinks about any of the ideas I’ve brought up at all, I would consider that an accomplishment. And if not, then oh well. In that case, if anyone is actually reading this, then I apologize if I sounded too aggressive or defensive. And I hope you enjoyed seeing my thoughts on Sunshine in the Mirror.

Domestic WEi
Daehyeon:
You begged and begged for Daehyeon to be done with his work;
And it’s not like he wanted to leave you to boredom, he promised after many weeks apart that today was gonna be just the two of you;
But his computer got in the way;
When inspiration strikes you can’t let it runaway;
You of course understand but you really missed him and spending time with him.
So now there you were sitting on his lap while he types his thoughts away.
It didn’t take you long to fall asleep and when he noticed his heart clenched;
He felt so guilty, you only wanted one thing and he failed to give you what you wanted;
His work was finally done but he didnd’t want to wake you up, so he stayed on the couch holding you and caressing your hair making sure to whisper a “I love you” in your ear.
Donghan:
It was his turn to clean the dorm and let’s just say he wasn’t too happy about it;
Usually they clean in twos but they played rock paper scissors and Donghan just so happened to be the only who lost;
But lucky for him you showed up at his door an hour ago, asking if he was busy;
He told you that unfortunately he wouldn’t be available and explained he had to clean the dorms;
You went inside and immeaditely rolled up your sleeves as a sign of help;
Donghan didn’t expect you to join this tedious task but he was very happy he wouldn’t be doing this alone:
At the end of the day it took way less time and it was extremely pleasant for the both of you;
You had your dance breaks, singing duets and your own season of show me the money;
It’s safe to say Donghan wouldn’t mind losing a game again.
Yongha:
Avatar was all people were talking about and you never really cared that much, but your boyfriend certainly did;
He was so sad he couldn’t get tickets for the first screening of the movie, and you were so sad you couldn’t just tell him you got the tickets;
This is the downside of surprises, you have to make him suffer until it’s the right time;
The day finally came and you had asked Yongha to pick you up, you hadn’t specified why and he didn’t ask either which good for you cause you had no excuse prepared;
When he got to your place he called you and you stepped outside;
You got in the car and he asked you if you were okay, you said yes of course but you just wanted to see him;
He of course was extremely happy but when you showed him your phone he couldn’t believe his eyes;
“WAIT??!! YOU GOT TICKETS???!!!” ;
You told him you were sorry for not telling him sooner but you didn’t want to ruin the surprise;
He couldn’t care less if he was sulky for a week straight he was just so happy to have someone like you by his side, so thoughtful and loving;
Let’s just say he was like a kid with candy for the rest of the night.
Yohan:
He finally had some free time in his hands so the only logical thing to do was relax;
But he felt like staying in the same environment as always wouldn’t really give him the sense of free time;
So he called up a hotel and made a reservation for two people, you and him;
After getting off the phone with the receptionist he texted you;
“Tomorrow im picking you up, pack lightly”;
You were more than confused, what do you mean pack?? But you knew that if you made any questions he wouldn’t answer them;
So you packed not sure of the outfit choices but you also didn’t know what you had to pack for;
Tomorrow finally came and he did indeed show up at your door, dressed like an uncle going to hawai;
You were scared you didn’t have your passport with you and you asked him if you’d be needing it and he laughed;
“We’re going on a staycation dont worry”;
When you got there it was like paradise the place was so calm and pretty you couldn’t wait to jump in the pool.
But yohan had different plans, he layed on the bed and dragged you with him,
“Did you just come here to sleep??”;
“No but right now it’s the thing I want the most and I want to cuddle you”;
You were caught off guard with his sincerity but you quickly melted to his side.
Seokhwa:
Another day another parenting shift for Seokhwa;
And apparentely for you too;
You were both currently pet sitting cookie and dalli;
It’s not like you didn’t like it but it’s definetly not what you had in mind when Seokhwa called you to come over;
It was time for cookie’s walk so you briefly said goodbye to dalli telling her you weren’t going to take long;
And off you were for a little trip to the dog park;
Cookie is a little scared of crowed and loud places so you have to pick him up;
So it’s really just the two of you walking;
You didn’t mind it was kind of peaceful just stroling around with no places to be or anything to do really;
And of course no outing with Seokhwa would end without some silly or cute pictures;
If there’s not a picture, it never happened.
Junseo:
It was Yongha’s birthday and everyone was in charge of doing something for his little surprise bday party;
You and Junseo volunteered to make the cake;
So that led you to go grocery shopping and now you were in the kitchen reading the recipe;
“Are you sure we got everything we needed?”;
“Yeees, not only we double checked we triple checked Junseo you can breath”;
Everything was going well until one of you spelled the flour;
“Why would you do that?!!”;
“I didn’t it was you!!”;
As you were saying that he threw some flour in your face laughing at your now white casted face;
You didn’t let him win this war and you lathered some frosting on his face;
With all this laughing and screaming Daehyeon decided to check on what was going on;
Not only was he shocked at what he saw he had to break up “the fight” or you'd use all the ingredients on one another instead of the cake;
You both promised there was need for supervision and that you wouldn’t screw around anymore;
But stealing glances at Junseo you could tell this was far from over.

9 Fandom Peeps to Get to Know Better
Augghh I love these games! thank you for tagging me Mickey 🥺🌸(@thisautistic)
3 Ships You Like :
1. Yohan/Moogyeong from The Shape of Your Love (manhwa by Park Nodeok)
Tumblr media
this is my ultimate OTP. i never had OTPs before them. they'll be my rise and fall. but yeah, anyway. they. my boys.
2. Vegas/Pete from KinnPorsche The Series
Tumblr media
they had me by the throat even before i knew kpts existed and just, well. then i watched kpts and found them and they were everything i hoped for and more. a lot of it is also because vegas and i are very much alike without the mass murder aspect 😂
3. Alan/Gaipa from Moonlight Chicken
Tumblr media
listen, MLC is like, the best thing i've watched in a while and alangaipa gave me what i had been craving since yohan/moogyeong c. 2019 : a small rare/ghost ship with barely any screentime but that hooked people in worldwide. firstkhao's acting was just bonus. alangaipa represent everything that i want from my own life. i couldn't not love them.
First Ship Ever :
Kanata/Miyu from Da!Da!Da!
Tumblr media
oh, these two. i was head over heels in love with them. i shipped them even when i didn't know that shipping existed or what it meant, when we didn't even have anime on TV besides the broadcast on SONY at 5pm sometimes. i just wanted them in love and happy and raising a kid together. ugh i miss them.
Last Song You Heard :
The Moon Represents My Heart, by the Moonlight Chicken cast! God do I love this song so much! It fits all the ships so well! The lyrics are gold! (I also recently found that this is a cover of the OG by Teresa Teng and that's even more beautiful??)
(also, this has been helping me visualize and write a lot of sand/ray, surprisingly enough.)
Favorite Childhood Book :
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Tumblr media
ahhh, well, this is embarassing. i didn't have a favourite book until adulthood actually. and it's my only favourite (as in something i've read time and again). i don't think i'll ever find another book like this one. this is it for me. nothing can ever top this. (yes, I'm very picky about my favourites lmao)
Currently Reading :
i found out this fic exists because of twitter discourse lmao, and I'm not even a dramione fan, i'll probably never read another work, but goddamn, the writing was stellar. lived up to all that hype. good stuff. (I'm almost at the end so wish me luck!)
Currently Watching :
Our Dining Table
Tumblr media
no offence to those who love this, i loved the manga when i read it years ago, but lord was i bored to death even on the second trial at watching this lol. I'm soldiering on though, i'll get through this!
Currently Consuming :
Thai BLs
uhh... not sure what answer this demands actually, so, uhhh... lots of thai BL i guess? that's really what i've been consuming lately. i had never watched thai BLs before KPTS in 2023 so it's eye opening, they've gotten better ( i tried once before , quite a while back when a friend recommended, and i found it ridiculous so i never thought i'd actually ever watch any again lol, mostly because i never was a fan of live action BL dramas in general)
Currently Craving :
💵💵💵💵
well, i'll be honest here, money is vital and that's what I'm craving lol, i gotta feed myself and my cats and pay a 50k laptop repair bill that my company thrust on me even though it's not my fault it's damaged. anyway, essentially I'm experiencing financial doom among other unfortunate events, so here's your chance to commission a fic or donate at my KOFI so...... haha.
alright, this was super fun! I'm tagging @skyfish7 @semantics-error @justfionn @boyslovecorner @peachym00 @lilitblaukatz @ae-azile
(please feel free to ignore if you're feeling up to it!)

Note
who is your current favorite love life idol and why? were they your first favorite idol or did you discover them after playing the game more? did you dislike them or not care about them then they grew on you?
im very interested since i feel like youve mentioned it but never really went into depth about said topic.. love you corpsette btw
my first favorite was riko, i remember i got into love live in ~2016 (after sunshine season 1 but before season 2, before the first aqours duo-trio album as well) with my first actual taste of it being sif1 (rip....), i saw her at the screen to choose your starting idol(?) and i really liked her from that point. however, i think shes probably been overtaken by yohane for my favorite aqours member. recently yohane got an anime focused on her and ive been meaning to watch it but havent yet... i also need to finish sunshine season2 ive been procrasting SINCE IT CAME OUT!!! T-T
Tumblr media Tumblr media
^the picture of riko (red hair) i used here was probably one of my faves as a kid i thought she looked soo pretty
also, back then i considered myself to have a fave muse member (eli) but i barely interacted with muse in any of the games and only watched like 4 eps of sip so i gave up on labelling myself as having a fave muse member since it feels a bit wrong to do so when i know so litttle even though information is easily avaliable to me yk, however towards the end of me labelling myself as having a fave muse member it started to shift to kotori
Tumblr media Tumblr media
when nijigaku (at the time pdp) was revealed i clung to kanata, however my fave nijigaku member is now probably lanzhu (she might be one you remember me talking about? possibly yohane as well), the only sifas season i fully(?) read was season 2 bc of her, thats the season she was introduced/an antagonist in, i want to watch the nijigaku anime to see her but i heard they changed her personality a bit so im a bit anxious. everyone hated lanzhu when she was first revealed it seems except me. also shes the only member i actually tried to read all of the bond stories of in sifas (rip........)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
for liella, i forget who i liked when they were first revealed pre-anime, but i do like keke. i also think margarete will become a fave as well when she joins liella in the upcoming third season i already like her a little :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i havent engaged with much hasunosora but i think if i do ill like tsuzuri
Tumblr media
i dont think ill be able to pin the exact reason why i like everyone - i just attach to a character and accept it i guess, but i can give a reason i like keke and why i think ill like tsuzuri!
keke - how much she wants to be an idol... even as a kid i wanted to make music in a way, and when i first watched aqours i guess the urge grew stronger, so its like im watching someone who has the same wish as me actually succeed in doing so...
tsuzuri - when her introduction video was released my first thought was "wow, i think people might describe her in ways i was described" (specifically, how i was once described as always seeming like im in another world or somewhere else mentally) so ive been predicting me liking her ever since. but i havent read too much about her yet so

I fucking devoured Midnight Museum last night, binged all the episodes released so far - I had already watched the pilot - and I am obsessed. This shit is right up my ally, fuck ep02 I hate snakes and critters bro. I’m so sad this show hasn’t caught on internationally yet b/c it’s so good.
Some thoughts:
KhathaDome: They really are the Thai supernatural versions of Yohan and Gaon my god and yours like the restrained emotion Khatha has every single time he interacts with Dome is wild. “Looks like your younger brother” sir I have concerns, I have questions, I have comments. I want Yohan and Khatha to meet up and be like “you too huh?/yeah” and talk about their babydoll twinks with big lips
Tumblr media
I have actual theories in my head of what Dome is/his relationship with Khatha but I’ma save that for a separate post.
Direction: Is actually really good, GMMTV clearly has a budget for this show in terms of set design, and costuming which they’ve chosen to invest in the most. The CGI is very sci-fi channel which is fine. What I like is the techniques the director uses to build tension since they have to be more creative to make up for the lack of special effects budget. The action is easy to follow, the lighting is always good, and there’s some genuinely interesting shots.
Music: I really love the soundtrack for the show, there’s only been a couple awkward music ques, but for the most part everything has flowed really well together. The leitmotif for Khatha and Khatha/Dome gets me every time I love it.
SFX: Okay so when I say “special effects” I’m including practical effects here as well. Of which, aren’t to bad. The spider eyes on that one dude in ep02 were pretty impressive actually. I love body horror, it’s the worst, and I was excited they played with that aspect of horror even if I hated watching it lol The cgi is mid, not surprising tbh (the moths looked ridiculous tbh) you can tell which scenes, so far, they’ve invested more CGI budget into - any of the galaxy-esque scenes - which is valid. I can tell the crew has thought thoroughly on where and how to use their budget and I appreciate that. Plus, the CGI dragon in Fairy/Devil also looked awful but the wigs were immaculate. I would rather have some mid sci-fi channel CGI than bad costumes tbh
Overall: I really fucking dig this show, the plot is SO interesting. Legit right up my fantasy/mythology/horror/supernatural loving heart. I’m a huge SFF fan anyway and this is hitting some great notes. I think the mystery is really interesting, I’m digging the way they’re playing around with different myths, folklore, and religion. The costumes are great I love any show that features an ombre suit (Kinn’s impact) I need more ppl to watch!!!!
Sidenote: I don’t follow GMMTV like that nor do I watch a lot of their shows cause, frankly, they bore me 98% of the time. So idk who most of these cameos are or why everyone is freaking out over this Tay dude appearing in ep07. Kudos to the idea tho cause it’s getting ppl hype lol
