La ciudad y los perros - Mario Vargas Llosa

La ciudad y los perros es la primera novela del escritor peruano Mario Vargas Llosa. Ganadora del Premio Biblioteca Breve en 1962, fue publicada en octubre de 1963 y obtuvo también el Premio de la Crítica Española. Originalmente el autor la tituló "La morada del héroe" y luego "Los impostores". Su importancia es trascendental, pues abrió un ciclo de modernidad en la narrativa latinoamericana. A la par con otras obras de diversos autores de América Latina, dio inicio al llamado boom latinoamericano. Ha tenido múltiples ediciones y ha sido traducida a decenas de idiomas. La aparición de La ciudad y los perros marcó un hito en el desarrollo de la novela hispanoamericana, significando la superación del regionalismo narrativo, en boga entonces en el ámbito latinoamericano, y de la novela social, preponderante aun entre los autores españoles. Fue incluida en la lista de las 100 mejores novelas en español del siglo XX del periódico español El Mundo.

The Time of the Hero - Mario Vargas Llosa

The Time of the Hero is a 1963 novel by Peruvian writer and Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa. It was Vargas Llosa's first novel and is set among the cadets at the Leoncio Prado Military Academy in Lima, which he attended as a teenager. The novel portrays the school so scathingly that its leadership burned many copies and condemned the book as Ecuadorian propaganda against Peru. It won the 1962 Premio Biblioteca Breve for best unpublished novel and the 1963 Premio de la Critica Espanola. This book marked a milestone in the development of the hispanicamerican novel, signifying the overcoming of narrative regionalism. It was included in the list of the 100 best novels in Spanish of the twentieth century of the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

So I suppose that Florida supported Argentina but I don't know if Louisiana will supported France or Argentina for these reasons:

Louisiana besides being a french colony in the past he was also a spanish colony since 1763 until 1803, so I was thinking he had a good relationship with hispanicamerican(?) (I don't know if that therm exist in english??) countries and states. And maybe he has a good relationship with Argentina.
