Sebastian as a not so confident dom

I had this headcanon for a while, i’ve seen a lot of people talking about how he would be possessive in bed and when in public with his S/O, like, well... my english is not so good to describe this, but i think i made myself clear. What about his first times?

I think that before having any sexual intercurses he would be the same, like how we see him on game (he can’t trick me, he ain’t even kissed a person yet)

So what happens when years later a really dominant MC comes around and between their usual flirty banter they get tired and says something like “don’t be too cocky, Sebastian, i can make you look like a flustered first year if i wanted to” and obviously Sebastian answers with some taunting like “go ahead, i’m sure you can’t”

I like to think that as fast as he sees some skin he gets so flustered that he has to drop all of his acting.

Maybe later on their relationship Sebastian learns from them and really becomes that dominant person we all think he is as an adult.

So, I also grew up with Harry Potter and had to learn about the flaws I didn’t see as a kid. As I still like the concept and have that nostalgic connection I still like to interact with the fandom (no official shit, she ain’t getting my money), but I do like to think of the iffy parts and imagine changes that would make it better.

Most of those fixes I find more interesting than the original

Bill works as a curse breaker for Gringotts in Egypt: some real stolen historical objects in British museum vibes

Or

Bill studies structural warding at an university in Egypt: higher education for wizards. The idea of wizarding architecture interests me greatly. He’s 20 at the beginning of book 1. Could be far more useful in year 7.

It was Sirius’ idea to spend the summer after graduation travelling around Europe.

Despite his mother throwing him out and disowning him, the inheritance left by his uncle couldn’t be touched by her. It left a hefty amount in the hands of a boy who wanted nothing more than to splurge on his true family—on the friends he made, the friends he bonded with, the friends he loved. 

It had taken a stern talking from Euphemia about being smart with his money before he calmed down a little, before he took the reality of life after Hogwarts seriously. Not before he booked an all inclusive holiday for the two of you around some of the countries you had dreamt about visiting after school. 

You had argued it was a ridiculous amount. He argued you were worth it. You had told him you would find a way to pay him back. He told you not to bother and then booked expensive hotels just to spite you a little. 

But it was worth it. 

It was worth every single penny when he got to wake up in that fancy hotel, the balcony doors open and a light breeze drifting through the room. The sun just starting to break through the horizon, the streets empty and his favourite sight of you curled up against him, seeking his warmth even in your sleep. 

“You’re being creepy again,” you murmured, your lips brushing against his skin from where your cheek was squished against his chest. Your eyes were still shut and there was a furrow between your brows but, fuck, you looked utterly perfect to him.

“It’s not creepy when you know I’m gonna do it,” he retorted, his fingers lightly brushing stray hairs away from your face.

The crease between your brows deepened. “That’s not how it works.”

“Semantics,” he grinned, even if you couldn’t see it. “I can’t not stare at you, baby. You look your cutest like this.” 

You huffed against his chest. “No, I don’t, I just woke up.” 

“I know what I said,” he hummed, lightly pinching your side until you lifted your head, eyes opened and now glaring at him. “There’s my girl.” 

“You are utterly insufferable in the mornings,” you grumbled as you tried to lie back down on his chest. 

But Sirius caught you before you could, his hand on your cheek lifting your head up again so he could kiss you. “And you are always so grumpy.”

“That’s what happens when my boyfriend decides to wake up at the ass crack of dawn,” you snapped back, though something warm and fuzzy bloomed in your chest at the sound of his laugh. “I don’t get how the fuck you were late to class every morning when you wake up so early.” 

“I never woke up this early at school,” he admitted as he pulled you close to him again. 

“Then how come you are awake now?” You questioned, happily settling against his side once again with your leg thrown over his. 

“I already told you,” he hummed as he pressed a lingering kiss to the top of your head. “I like seeing you at your cutest.” 

“Creep.”

“Your creep.”

“Unfortunately.”

Y/N Potter became an aunt in 1980 to a wonderful little boy named Harry. Her brother, James, had asked her to be the boy's godmother, as his best friend Sirius was named the boy's godfather. She of course accepted this honor, not knowing that a year later, the boy would be hers to take care of.

The night of Lily and James Potter’s death, as well as Lord Voldemort, Y/N was left by some of the most important people in her life. Peter had died, murdered by a supposed friend, Sirius Black, who was thrown in Azkaban after killing Peter and a dozen muggles. And then there was Remus, who had just left without a word, no note, no letter, just left. Remus was like another brother to Y/N, they had become friends before James and Remus became friends. So when he left without a trace, she was quite upset, she had just lost her brother and sister-in-law, one of their friends, another getting locked up and she was all alone with a baby that she didn’t know how to care for.

That was until she had run into Severus Snape at the late Potters’ grave not even a week later. He was leaving a fresh lily on the stone as she walked into the cemetery. They sat and talked for over an hour until Harry began whining to eat. This became a routine for the two adults. Eventually Severus began to help Y/N take care of Harry and herself, getting the Potter girl a job at Hogwarts with Professor Sprout after remembering that Herbology was her favorite subject. He helped her around the house and the two became unlikely friends. 

By the time Harry had reached 11, Y/N was offered the position as Herbology professor after Sprout had retired. She of course accepted the position, the first person other than Harry being told was Severus. She had gotten the job thanks to not only Professor Sprouts’ recommendation but also Severus, McGonagall and Binns. Getting a recommendation from Professor Binns was her greatest accomplishment other than being able to raise Harry when she was just barely an adult. She did give a lot of thanks to Severus for helping her raise the boy. 

Although Severus and James never got along, Severus had always been fond of the Potter girl. She was his favorite Potter that he had ever interacted with, which had only been four but that hadn’t mattered to him. Severus was quite fond of Lily but after realizing she was unattainable, he was able to move on from her. His fondness shifted to a different Potter, this time Y/N. Severus acted like a guard dog in a way, trying his damnedest to keep her safe and happy.

Not only did he act this way to her but also Harry. The boy grew up seeing Severus nearly everyday and had taken to calling the man Uncle Sev when he was 4. Severus had a fondness for Harry but nothing like the fondness he had for the boy’s aunt. Although her brother and his friends were terrible to him, Severus always liked the Potter girl better than her mischievous brother. He knew she was much different from her brother, more reserved, more intelligent, kinder.

The two grew closer and closer as the years went on, it got to a point that other professors were betting on when they would get together and students were constantly asking if they were a couple. Of course the two denied it but then later fantasized about being with the other instead of fessing up to their feelings. However, everything went astray during Harry's third year. Sirius Black had escaped Azkaban and Remus Lupin the new DADA professor.

Draco shook his head. What a disgrace, Father’s voice hissed in his ear. As if it weren’t bad enough that you’re pining for a boy. Did it have to be this one?

Draco wholeheartedly agreed. It was bad. It was so bad, he couldn’t imagine it being any worse. The unwanted, unwelcome attraction threatened to rip him asunder. Wild urges coursed through his body all day, every day, morphing from lust to rage to longing to horror like a boggart in a crowd.

It had started on the train, where he seized an unprecedented opportunity to stare at Potter, unobserved and uninterrupted, for fully three minutes as they left the King’s Cross station. Which was more than long enough to count the inches Potter had gained over the summer, and get hypnotized by the bobbing of the sharp new bulge in Potter’s throat while he drained an entire water bottle in one go, and to twitch uncomfortably at the action of Potter’s newly muscled arms, nude in his sleeveless Muggle shirt, while he heaved the cages on top of the overhead shelves. Long enough to map the new angles of his face, strange in its familiarity, mark a new nook between the ear and the jaw, the beginnings of a new dip in the chin, the sharpened cut of the eyebrows. Long enough to feel a stab of desperate envy when someone else made Potter laugh. Long enough for Potter to finally look his way and wound him with that reckless green gaze. And if Draco imagined that something had fractured in Potter’s features too, if only for that single moment, so be it. A fantasy to soothe the ache.

My hot take that i know tumblr will not believe is that, in the USA especially, it is not common knowledge in real life that JK Rowling and by extension Harry Potter are symbols of severe anti-transgender sentiment. You have to be moderately to severely Online or deep in activism circles to know that. Almost everyone here has been an active Tumblr and/or Twitter user for years, which means that you, dear reader, are multiple orders of magnitude more Online AND significantly deeper in activism circles than almost anyone you'll pass on the street.

Just in the past two weeks I've met professional psychologists, doctoral candidates in counseling, inclusive medical providers, and a good handful more otherwise-accepting professionals who didn't bat an eye when brief HP references were casually mentioned in conversation. These are the type of people who apologize and correct themselves for saying "homeless" instead of "unhoused", but then joke about which Hogwarts House they would be in. This is absolutely a "non-geologists all know the chemical structure of quartz" type of issue.

Understand that I'm not trying to minimize the harm that Rowling, her ideology, her cultish followers, or her newer works have caused. Honestly I just kind of hope that this makes some of y'all feel better as you go into the world and see casual mentions of HP. Most people out in the brick-and-mortar world genuinely aren't attaching an ideology onto their memories of an old book series. Most people you pass on the street or in a store aren't using HP merch to mean they want to hurt you. Assume ignorance instead of malice until proven otherwise.

the hogwarts legacy conversation really highlights something that i think usually stays hidden under the polite facade of liberalism. in the past days, weeks, months, it has become increasingly more apparent that there are SHOCKINGLY few trans allies in spaces which pride themselves on inclusivity and acceptance. as liberal people whose allyship so far has been limited to offering pronouns in their bio and maybe putting an infographic on their insta story once in a while are pressed to make choices to actively support trans people, it becomes increasingly clear that what they offered was never allyship at all. it becomes increasingly clear that their 'allyship' was contingent on all trans people being nice and unobtrusive and separate from other issues. people are dropping their illusions of supporting trans people shockingly quickly when confronted with the choice to actively harm people or not play a video game. as pat loller described it, they are presented with a trolley problem with trans people on one side and jk rowling/the (already paid) game devs on the other. one side will not be damaged. the train will take them on to their next destination, in fact, with very little fanfare. the train will crush the trans people. you have to actively pull the lever to crush the trans people. so-called allies are actively pulling the lever and then getting upset when trans people get upset about being DIRECTLY HARMED. how dare we speak up about the issues we face. how dare we be upset about the direct disregard and harm that people who claimed to support us are now foisting upon us. how dare we be messy about that. we are being actively legislated out of existence, and people who said they were our allies are abandoning us in droves for their much larger problem of... not being able to play a game. it's honestly fucking comedic. your allyship means nothing if it comes with conditions. your allyship means nothing if you are not willing to take action for the sake of your allies. your allyship means nothing if you are not willing to LITERALLY SIT STILL AND NOT DO A SINGLE ACTION for the sake of your allies. the trans community asks people NOT TO PLAY THE GAME. and people look us in the eyes and tell us that a few hours of antisemitic gameplay is worth more than our lives. fine. whatever. we see how it is. glad that they're finally being honest, at least. if you play hogwarts legacy or engage with harry potter i hope you die.
