how would you describe your ocs' scent? and do they use fragrances or any of the like in their daily life?
A really good question, Lacie! 👀
Lucas has an underlying scent of fresh ink on paper (does that make sense??) and baked sweets more often than not. He does wear cologne, also! I think it would be a scent like sandalwood. If you're close enough, you'll probably be able to smell his aftershave too 😌
Leumin's scent was described in game, actually! He smells like coffee, flora, and fresh laundry! He also uses cologne every now and then, if he's going to a special occasion or on a date. His cologne is very soft and almost unnoticeable unless you're close to him. I think it would be a scent like geranium.
Njero has a funny scent: he'll either smell like chemicals and potions, or candy and lavender. He doesn't use cologne but he does use oils from time to time!
Flores also doesn't use cologne unless he's in the human world, then he'll smell like bergamot. He normally has an earthy smell to him, in addition to a sweet fragrance of flowers ^^
So I'm shopping on Etsy for ACOTAR merch for Christmas (because I wanted to treat myself this year), and good GOD there are so many Tamlin's Tears mugs and Salty Little Bitch Tamlin candles and bookmarks. Whyyyy? At least the Suriel Tea mugs are kind of funny.
It makes me want to make my own stuff instead, to be honest.
your homelander with a scent kink is so true, i actually have a oneshot on that concept 😭 it’s my first time writing homelander, is it ok if i pitch it to u?
of course it is, darling!! y'all are always welcome to bring your fics to my attention. 🖤
Person A is a hobbyist candlemaker who has just moved in with a friend, Person B, who always has weird meat in their fridge. Person A one day comes in on Person B murdering a person, but instead of being alarmed, asks if they can use the fat for candles - since making candles from animal fat is more traditional, and something Person A had been planning to try their hand at, so is just using the opportunity they found.
With the festive season approaching I wanted to do some blog posts showing you some gift ideas for people on a budget. If you didn't know my actual name is Chanell (though my nickname at home is Bella) and I obviously get asked all the time if I use CHANEL products and honestly I have only really ever used their fragrances.
Most people will spend lots of money on Chanel perfumes and if you collect perfumes then by all means go ahead. However if you want to have Chanel fragrances but for half the price then do I have news that will blow your mind. If you didn't know Chanel have fragrance moisturiser mists that match all the perfumes but they are half price or more!
The fragrance mists last just as long as a perfume if not longer and yet they are way more affordable than a perfume. While I love collection fragrances I don't always want to pay crazy prices. Here are my 3 favourite Chanel Moisture mists:
I have been using these mists for years and love to give them as gifts to my friends because they are so special to give as gifts and yet I'm not bankrupting myself . So if you're looking to purchase a luxury fragrance mists this season why not check these out first. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Do you love Haunted Mansion Holiday, or at least how it smells? Do you have a Walmart near you that has candles on post-Christmas clearance? Then go ahead and get yourself this candle:
“Fresh Baked Cookies” from Walmart’s store brand Mainstays. It smells VERY close (in my opinion, identical) to the gingerbread cake-bedecked ballroom at Haunted Mansion Holiday. I found it for only $3.75 too, which is a lot less than most Disneyland copy scents will set you back. (Heck, even its pre-discount price of about $8 is less than most of those I’ve seen)
Also, if you use wax melt air fresheners instead, I posted before about the Test Track 1.0 scent dupe I also found at Walmart, Scentsationals “Take a Hike”. It does NOT smell like hiking, but it DOES smell like the original version of Test Track.
Person A makes their own scented ink for their pens, to give their letters a personalized and unique flair. Their favorite scent they use to write in their daily journal that they take everywhere with them. One day, they misplace it and it’s found by a stranger, Person B, who reads some of it, decides they don’t want to just reunite the journal with it’s owner, but also meet the owner since they’re intrigued by them.
