Modding games: There’s an active scene for Smash 4 mods, including one called Melee HD which completely changes the gameplay.

You can turn it back on and make full use of your console. The functionality is still there but disabled from within Wii mode. GameCube games: Nintendo simply flipped a switch to disable running GameCube games on your Wii U.Cemu: Homebrewing your Wii U is the only way to legally play Wii U games on PC, and with Breath of The Wild now running much better on Cemu than it does on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, there’s plenty of reason to.This does enable piracy, but that’s not the primary focus. Homebrew enables loading hundreds of games from USB storage, which you can dump yourself from the disc.
#How to to open the homebrew launcher 3ds browser install#
USB game loading: You only have a measly 16-32 GB of space on your Wii U, which is only enough to install a few games to the fast internal storage.
Emulators: Want to run Nintendo 64 games on your Wii U? With emulators, the Wii U can play almost any Nintendo game that isn’t a 3DS or Switch exclusive.
There’s plenty of cool things you can do with a modded console. Homebrew is a great way to breath new life into an old console. You don’t run any risk of damaging or bricking your console with normal homebrew, so it’s entirely safe. This process is long, but isn’t overly complicated and can be completed by the average user. You can even install backup copies of your games on a hard drive and run them from there. This includes emulators, custom games, and mods.
If you get a red screen, ensure you copied boot.Homebrew allows your Wii U to run apps Nintendo didn’t intend for you to run.
If it freezes, just force the console to power off by holding the power button, then try again.
Go to /SDCARD, then play “

Soundhax (when combined with the Homebrew Launcher) is compatible with versions 9.0.0 through 11.3.0 in the EUR, JPN, KOR, and USA regions.Įnsure your device’s Wireless Communication is turned on as udsploit (used in the next page) will need the wireless module to be active to function, and some devices (New 3DS, New 2DS, and Old 2DS) cannot adjust the Wireless Communication setting from the Homebrew Launcher. The Homebrew Launcher has many different entrypoints (methods of launching). Continue to Installing boot9strap (SafeB9SInstaller).If you appreciate this guide, we accept Donations.

"They say you shouldn't bring a knife to a gunfight, but - just hear me out here - what if the knife was a 12 foot long superheated sword wielded by a 60 ton mech?"
Lancer: Melee Plus expands on Lancer's melee weapons by adding three new weapon types: Blades, Impacts, and Lances, with 3 new talents to match!
Lancer has 6 weapon types: CQB, Cannon, Launcher, Nexus, Rifle, and Melee. Ranged weapons get split into five distinct and flavorful categories, while swords, hammers, fists, spears, and broken bottles are all just Melee? It simply isn't fair, and with this supplement I intend to bring justice. All existing melee weapons have been given new types, bringing new flavorful and mechanical distinction between Lancer's wide array of slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing weapons.

look at my 2DS I’ve had it since 2016 when the hinge on my first 3DS (original XL, blue) broke
it’s got my second-favorite Pokemon blorbo on it and also the Homebrew Launcher
red o2DS
i love how clean the homescreen is... i'm extremely jealous. (mine is a mess... )
also i love the thought process of 3DS hinge broke -> ok get one without the hinge. also i've never charged a 2DS before so I didn't realize that the charging port is just... at the top. I never really thought about it. For some reason I thought it would come off the side. Makes sense though.

every time i mod a 3DS the process has drastically changed from the last time
last time i had to download pokemon picross as a crucial step for some reason? i think to exploit a vulnerability in it? i was scared to delete pokemon picross off the system afterwards in case that bricked it somehow. pretty sure it wouldnt have. the system bricked itself eventually anyway because it was a shitty half broken preowned 2DS and one of the ribbons connecting to the top screen broke or whatever im sure the way that sentence is inevitably wrong stands out to somebody
the time before that, the first time i ever did it, had me open one of the base 3DS applications nobody ever uses and use a QR code to permanently change that app to a homebrew launcher but it became infinitely more complicated by the fact that it was a shitty preowned half broken 2DS where the home button didnt work because the previous owner- a small child- stabbed it. the home button was crucial to the process. anyway the bottom screen stopped working eventually. because of when the kid stabbed it
this time on my not shitty or preowned ancient original 3DSxl from 2016(?) the process had no picross and, helpfully, had a step where the controls to open certain menus could be changed in the case of a stabbed broken home button that would have been great before, and had me navigate to a specific point in the 3DS settings menu, take the sd out, put the sd in my laptop, run a batch file on it, and put the sd back in the 3DS which felt like it was going to explode my poor dual screened surgical patient but instead just automagically changed the settings menu to a homebrew installation menu
this version of the process was the easiest so far though. modding your 3DS has never been more accessible and is the best way to ensure you can continue accessing 3DS games after the 3DS eshop closure.
just dont get one a kid stabbed, or where the top screen sometimes doesnt work and then eventually always doesnt work

I've had some ideas kicking around for a homebrew variant of the shadowhawk for a while now that I finally decided to put to paper (or I guess in this case Solaris Skunk Werks). My goal was to maintain the SHawk's character within the 55 ton trio (low heat, mid range harrasser with a flexible and balanced mixture of ballistic, energy, and missile weapons) while making it less aggressively mediocre than its succession war era designs thru the use of some lostech.
Tumblr media
As the ashes began to settle following the Blakist Jihad, the Magistracy of Canopus determined they needed a cheaper and more flexible alternative to their fleet of advanced SHD-7Ms. Utilizing light fusion engine and multi-missile launch system technology from the allied Dutchy of Andurian, surplus production spares from the Canopan defense industry's work on the Taurian Brahma heavy mech, and the output of their own 7M line, Majesty Metals & Manufacturing produced three functioning prototypes for a design they called the Shadowhawk XA1. Despite costing 20% less than the model it was intended to compete with, internal politicking between MMM and the Magistracy government eventually sank the project. One of the prototypes was donated to the Magistracy Armed Forces Museum on Canopus IV while another was converted back into a standard 7M. The final prototype was sent to Capellan space for further testing but it vanishes from MMM's and the CCAF's records shortly before it was slated to arrive at the testing range.
Tumblr media
Designed to fill the role of a medium-range skirmishing unit with a degree of inter-mission flexibility, the SHD-XA1 is built on the same endo steel chassis as the 7M. The bulky and fragile Core Tek 275 XL power plant has been downgraded to a more resilient experimental 275 light fusion engine while the 5 jump jets have been retained. 9 tons of armor leaves the pilot moderately well protected, relying on the XA1's speed and cover to protect the mech.
As opposed to the 7M, which saw fit to upgrade the size of the venerable 2H's weapons, the XA1 attempts to beat it in quantity amd accuracy. In the place of the guass rifle, a pair of light class 5 autocannons have been mounted in the left shoulder weapons pod, while an extended range medium laser has been installed in both the center torso and head. A five-tube multi-missile launcher is located in the right torso. All of the mech's direct fire weapons are networked to a targetting computer in the left torso, while all of its ballistic and missile systems draw from a shared 4-ton cellular ammunition stowage bay in the right torso. 10 double heat sinks allow a mechwarrior total freedom to use her weapons as she chooses, and while the torso-mounted weapons load leaves the mech vulnerable to flanking attacks and narrows its effective firing arcs, it does leave the arms free to engage in melee attacks once the mech closes.
The SHD-XA1's lends itself towards acting as a skirmisher or fast response unit that can tailor its exact role thru the use of specialty ammunition. Smoke and inferno missiles allow the mech to provide cover to advance under and anti-infantry/anti-vee capabilities with its MML, while the TC-linked autocannons can be configured to combat heavily armed units, aircraft, or fast moving targets through the use of armor piercing, flak, or precision ammo. The design's thin armor, fair mobility, and moderate range mean that the mechwarrior is advised to maintain distance and speed slightly behind the lime of battle until the enemy is weakened enough for her to close on and dispatch isolated unit.
This was fun to put together! Let me know what you think- should I do more homebrew mech variants?

CYBERPUNK 2077: Thorton Colby "Vulture"
A modified Thorton Colby CX410 Butte, designed for death races in the Badlands. Uparmoured, ruggedised and equipped with a pair of well-concealed machine guns, as well as a far less well-concealed guided missile launcher, the Vulture is a mean opponent, and might even keep you safe in Pacifica!
On another note, the Vulture has become my favourite variant of the Colby, though I prefer the Little Mule's paint job. The 'Vulture' would look supreme with a .50 on the back as well, either a CROWS setup or operated manually like a Hilux technical, it might even be in competition with Panam's rig for most dangerous thing on the ground since the Abrams tank.
Speaking of which, I have to post that thing about the homebrew Nomad clan called the 'Ironsides,' a Nomad clan of 'forgotten' US Army troops (read: went AWOL during the 4th Corpo War) from the 1st Armoured Div who drive around the Badlands in souped up HEMTTs, FMTVs, Bradleys and Abrams, as well as whatever other vehicles they've picked up over the years. Of course, by 2077, all but the clan's elders are new blood, joining the clan from the streets, or 'vets', the descendants of the original unit.

"Small" Riley Post-Mikoshi Info Dump because I'm bored lmao:
Follows DFTR -> Temperance, so spoilers at your own risk
I've been going on and on in servers about how I think V should be extraordinarily fucked up after going toe to toe with Smasher, even if it's an close match, since Smasher just seems like the kinda dude who'd tear you to ribbons even if you have the upper hand. Riley ends up needing to replace two limbs, dislocated her organic shoulder, breaks her organic leg, loses her left optic, ruptures her left eardrum, you get the drift. I beat her up to hell and back, basically.
Post-Mikoshi, Vik determines that Riley's cybernetic leg is just beyond saving. It's barely functioning because the wirework and neural connection were damaged in the fight and Vik just doesn't have the materials on hand to fix homebrew cyberware, so they ditch it (despite a lot of protesting from Johnny). He gives him a RealSkinn prosthetic that's standard in NC, the one with the hydraulic kneecap that all the NPCs have.
Johnny gets Riley's left optic replaced, same neon-green color as before. It leaves him with two huge scars over and under the socket at a diagonal (direction-wise, think around 11:27 on an analog clock, the scar curves slightly downwards). The cut requires upwards of 75 stitches between the forehead and the cheekbone-- it fades better around the eyebrow but still looks pretty gnarly the further down you go.
Riley's final blow to Smasher was a point-blank firing of her projectile launcher that essentially blows the entire mechanism (as well as her left hand) up, so Vik digs out the shards of what used to be the launcher and seals up her now-empty forearm with a black plate. He recovers her left hand with matte-black subdermal armor and leaves it at that (covering up the tattoo ink she has there, RIP). The yellow areas in the picture below are all black plating while everything else is RealSkinn.
Tumblr media
From a distance it sort of looks like she's wearing a glove and wristguard, probably not very unusual in the grand scheme of things. Johnny wears a lot of long sleeves post Mikoshi to keep the thing under wraps regardless.
When Arasaka eventually comes a-knocking on H10, Johnny barely has time to grab the Malorian, her Samurai jacket, a few personal items, and an old guitar he'd bought before corporate guards swarm her place. Everything else of Riley's-- her bike, her weapons, her personal belongings, all of it-- are seized by Arasaka and eventually wind up as evidence in the NCPD.
After Johnny fucks off to squat in Pacifica, he starts changing Riley's physical appearance up-- partly out of fear of Arasaka hunting him down, partly out of guilt and an unwillingness to see her face whenever he looks in a mirror, and partly out of depressive negligence. He grows her roots out, and when her hair's long enough, he dyes it black with CHOOH-station hair dye just to feel a bit more like himself. He wears more makeup, even though he's shit at remembering how to do it. He gives her a few more piercings (nose ring, eyebrow piercing, he tried to give her a tongue piercing but it got infected so he was forced to let it close up). He pretty much ditches her entire wardrobe for long sleeve tshirts and flannels and sneakers because it's all he can afford and all he can afford to bring himself to wear.
Tumblr media
He starts going by "Jo" (this is something I'm still workshopping tbh-- I don't think he'd refer to himself as a derivative of "Robert", and calling himself "Riley" seems in incredibly poor taste and a disrespect to V's memory. Calling himself a simple "Jo" a la a John Doe seems like the easiest solution) and warms up slowly to Steve, who won't stop pestering him about music because Johnny's depression-playing's easy to hear from down the hall. He also strikes up a weird semi-friendship with Steve's mother, Gillian, who asks Johnny to watch Steve sometimes when she goes to work and doesn't want him alone with his dad.
Between the alias, the hair change, the new piercings, the radical change in wardrobe, losing Riley's cybernetic leg (arguably her most identifiable physical feature) covering her cloud tattoo (arguably her second most identifiable physical feature), and already being absent from most NCPD databases, pretty much no one's able to tell that the woman in West Wind Estates used to be the most famous merc in the city for four months. Johnny's able to fly pretty under the radar for the most point moving forward, save for watching his back regarding Arasaka, and most people who knew V have a somewhat hard time realizing it is V under all the new changes. The only people who don't struggle are Rogue-- she's too astute to be fooled by something like that, imho-- and Mama Welles-- she's seen Riley change her facial apperance several times under her roof, I have no doubt she'd be able to pick her out beneath all that hair dye too.
Johnny sticks it out for three months before he decides he's had enough and makes the plans to break for a fresh start. He takes the bullet pendant and his dog tags and puts them in Jackie's niche, since he views Jackie's sacrifice as the reason he and Riley got to meet in the first place. Even when shenanigans happen and Johnny eventually stays in NC, though, he doesn't retrieve the necklace. Not until fix-it gets firmly underway.

Class Feature Friday: Companion Innovation (Pathfinder Second Edition Inventor Innovation)
Tumblr media
(art by Malignanttoast on DeviantArt)
And we’re back with the second currently available innovation from the inventor class, the companion!
Everyone loves a little robot buddy, and with this archetype you can have one for your inventor character. These mechanical allies are so strongly associated with the class that the iconic inventor character canonically has one in the form of Whirp, the goblin-like clockwork robot.
As an innovation, these mechanical buddies are implied to be part of the inventor’s experiments into creating a truly unique design. They might be trying to perfect the artificial intelligence that governs their actions, or perhaps creating some wondrous new integrated tech which could revolutionize construct crafting as a whole. Alternatively, perhaps instead the inventor created their companion purely as an assistant for their other experiments and ventures.
Much like the innovations of other inventors, however, they constantly tinker with them to improve said companions in various ways.
As we’ll soon see, these companions turn a solitary inventor into one part of an impeccable duo both on and off the battlefield.
The construct companion follows many of the same rules as other companions, such as being  a minion with only two actions per round, but they also benefit from the fact that as independent beings, they can use their own actions to activate various abilities associated with innovations, including overdrive, explosion, and so on, as well as gain the benefits of offensive boost to their own attacks. Additionally, they start at either small or medium size.
Of course, there are many modifications that can be taken to customize these mechanical allies. Among the basic ones are increased speed, aquatic mobility, give them larger size, greater manual dexterity, a projectile launcher, advanced sensors, or even greater intellect to use certain skills.
Greater breakthroughs let them improve their integrated weapons, become warded against magic, gaining climbing apparati, greater durability, becoming even smarter, or converting into a ranged turret mode to trade mobility for firepower.
The greatest modifications include flight, true intelligence, resistance against all harm, integrated runic capacitors to improve their attacks, and the ability to transform into a barricade.
Of course, there are inventor feats geared towards those that choose to have a companion. These include No! No! I Created You!, which helps their little friend recover from effects that would subvert their control; Collapse Construct to make them compact for storage and travel; Advanced Construct Companion to outright buff their stats; Clockwork Celerity to briefly speed them up; Construct Shell to provide protection for yourself when you ride it; Incredible Construct Companion to make them even stronger; Lock On to bolster their aim; Paragon Companion to perfect them; and Engine of Destruction to make them absolutely devastating.
Other feats they might benefit from include Built-in Tools, Explosive Leap, Haphazard Repair, Variable Core, Searing Restoration, Megaton Strike and it’s upgrades, Megavolt and it’s upgrades, Manifold Modifications, Deep Freeze, Unstable Redundancies, and Full Automation.
There is a lot of customization to be had with this innovation. Your companion might be a small little scout and helper, a big brawny combatant, somewhere in between, or maybe you load them with all sorts of special offensive abilities to make them almost like a remote spell-thrower. Or maybe you make them bigger than yourself and use them for mounted combat (potentially in water or air too!). The sky is the limit.
I’m not exactly the biggest fan of how 2E handles companion creatures, but I will say that the loosey-goosey “here’s a bunch of examples, if you don’t find an exact match, homebrew your own or reskin it” approach does actually work well, because as long as you can imagine it, your construct companion could look like anything. It could be a classic clockwork construct, a technomagical creation blurring the lines with golems or the aeon stone constructs sometimes seen, or it might even be a refurbished robot from Numeria or the like. One character’s companion might be a mass of gears and steam pipes, while another might be a brain in a jar with a body sporting mechanical tentacles and treads, while another still might be an elegantly crafted facsimile of an animal or magical beast, looking like something that would be presented to royalty and ensure your family’s prestige for hundreds of years. If you can imagine it, your companion might just look like that.
Bilsprig is furious, the little kobold’s contemporaries simply do not GET his newest creation. This contraption is not simply an automaton, it is an ambulatory trap apparatus that brings the traps to your enemies. Yes, the weaponry is aimed and triggered by the automaton itself and not by the target, but by the seven dragon gods, they are still traps!
Chasing rumors of the legendary Mosquito Witch, an inventor and cryptid hunter by the name of Maximilian Valx heads into the marshes with his pet automaton, which he has specifically engineered to capture the cryptid creature. However, he will soon discover how thoroughly in over his head he is.
Called the Stitching Inventor by some, Lord Kalluvus has never had any patience for magic, let alone necromancy, but he has always thought that rotting corpses were such a waste, and so he has long tinkered with creating lightning-charged horrors that combine gears and strange capacitors with twitching preserved flesh.

11.17.0 update info
Last updated May 23, 2023 8:01 AM (gmt-6)
If you have CFW:
Nothing broke. It is safe to update.
If you have a USA 3DS and a custom home menu (NOT a custom theme), it will be overwritten by this update.
If you don't have CFW and are still on 11.16.0 or earlier:
11.16.0: DO NOT UPDATE! You can still use Seedminer! https://3ds.hacks.guide/seedminer
11.15.0 or 11.14.0: You can retrieve movable.sed through Mii mining: https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/3DS:Seedminer/Mii_mining.
11.13.0 or earlier: You can use a non-Seedminer method (see https://3ds.hacks.guide/get-started).
If you already updated to 11.17.0:
Use this website to determine whether you can currently install CFW! https://troubleshoot.uwuu.ca/seventeen/
Special exceptions:
Seedminer/BannerBomb3 still works on KOR/TWN consoles.
If you own any DSiWare on the eShop, you can use these instructions to install CFW: https://gist.github.com/lilyuwuu/d7fb508f2b8d36818bb9278b447560f2
Other *hax exploits (e.g. PicHaxx and steelhax) also still work, at least on EUR/JPN (for now). See https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/3DS:Alternate_Exploits for a full list.
For everyone else:
super-skaterhax (New3DS-only) and kartdlphax (requires Mario Kart 7 + a 3DS with CFW) are currently broken on USA consoles, but expected to be fixed in the coming days. EUR/JPN are likely unaffected.
USA N3DS users will be able to use super-skaterhax to install CFW once it is fixed. EUR/JPN N3DS users probably already can. https://3ds.hacks.guide/homebrew-launcher-(super-skaterhax)#
O3DS users are not currently expected to have a free software-only exploit. If you have one of these consoles (and don't have a second console with CFW for kartdlphax), the cheapest available option is ntrboot. You can get a preflashed cart here for about $10 USD: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005530134052.html.

Play Vib-Ribbon on your New 3DS/New 2DS! (part 1)
Vib-Ribbon is already a fun little PS1 rhythm game, but what if there were a way to make it more fun- and PORTABLE?!??
Yes, you can indeed play Vib-Ribbon on your modded New Nintendo 3DS! It even supports custom tracks! Getting it set up might take a while, but don't worry- it's easy to do and this tutorial will walk you through the whole process, step by step. Just be patient, take your time, and read the instructions carefully. I believe in you!
To get started with this tutorial, you'll need the following things:
A New 3DS, New 3DS XL, or New 2DS. You can't just use any old 3DS, it has to be any of those 3 specific models. An easy way to check if your 3DS is "New" is to open it up (if you can) and check the right side of the bottom half. "New" 3DS and 2DS models generally have a little grey nub above the face buttons (see image below.) If your 3DS or 2DS has that, you can go along with this tutorial. If it doesn't, then sadly, this tutorial won't work for you.
Tumblr media
Modern custom firmware on your New 3DS or 2DS (usually Luma3DS launching via boot9strap). Follow 3ds.hacks.guide/checking-for-cfw to check your New 3DS for CFW. If it doesn't have CFW, you'll have to follow 3ds.hacks.guide to hack your New 3DS; it shouldn't take too long. You can come back here when you're done.
You'll have to know how to transfer files to and from your microSD card and how to install CIA files to your New 3DS with FBI. You should know how to do those if you've already hacked your New 3DS with the guide above.
7-Zip to open 7z archives and all other kinds of files. You can get it at 7-zip.org.
A disc image of Vib-Ribbon, preferably the Japanese NTSC-J version in CHD format. The European PAL version works, but it has stuttery framerates and cuts off a chunk of the bottom of the screen. Try looking through the roms subreddit's megathread if you don't have it already; it has a link to an Internet Archive PS1 collection that has the Japanese Vib-Ribbon CHD.
All the music you like saved to your PC, if you want to play with custom tracks. You'll have to convert it into a Vib-Ribbon compatible format; I'll cover that later in Part 2.
Once you've got all of that ready, let's copy the emulator files! We'll be using the PCSX-ReARMed emulator to emulate the PS1 and Vib-Ribbon. It runs under RetroArch, so you'll need to install that.
Insert your New 3DS's microSD card into your PC's SD card reader; use an adapter if you need to. (New 3DS/New 3DS XL owners I'm so sorry)
Make a folder on the root (top directory) of your microSD Card and name it retroarch.
Head over to buildbot.libretro.com/stable/.
Find the latest stable version (it should be all the way at the bottom), click on nintendo > 3ds, then download the RetroArch_cia.7z file. Extract the files with 7-Zip.
Open the retroarch_cia > retroarch folder that you just extracted.
Copy everything in the retroarch folder except the cores subfolder to your SD card's retroarch folder.
Open up the cores folder on your PC's end. You'll see a lot of cia files.
Copy only the pcsx_rearmed_libretro.cia file and the info folder to the retroarch > cores folder on your SD card.
Get all the "scph55xx.bin" BIOS files from here: gist.github.com/juanbrujo/cf55d223ad01927a48f9ebac9f50bdee and put all three of them into your SD card's retroarch > cores > system folder (make it if it doesn't already exist).
Put your Vib-Ribbon disc image somewhere convenient on your microSD Card. I recommend making a dedicated folder for it (and potentially any other cool ROMs you may use with other homebrew emulators in the future.)
---------------------------------------
Now you're ready to install and configure the PCSX-ReARMed emulator!
Put the microSD card back into your New 3DS if you took it out and turn it on.
Open FBI on your New 3DS. Both the Homebrew Launcher and HOME Menu versions will work fine.
Navigate to SD > retroarch > cores and select the pcsx_rearmed_libretro.cia file.
Select Install CIA and install the CIA.
Exit FBI.

You'll now have the PCSX-ReARMed app on your HOME Menu. Load it up and you'll be greeted with this:

It looks like a lot, I know, but relax. We'll get through this!
Go to Settings. You should see a lot of settings.
Go to Video. Bilinear Filtering should already be turned on. It's not strictly necessary, but Vib-Ribbon does look better with it on.
Select Video Filter and look for the Normal2x.filt filter; this will make Vib-Ribbon look sharper on the New 3DS's screen. (Pro tip- you can jump through menus faster with left and right on the D-Pad.)
Back out of the Video settings and go to Audio.
In the Output menu, set the second Audio option to dsp_thread. PCSX-ReARMed performs much better with this.
In the Resampler menu, set the Resampler Quality to Higher. This will make Vib-Ribbon sound as clear as it gets!
Back out of the Audio settings- you're almost done! Go to Directory; it should be somewhere near the bottom.
Set the File Browser directory to the folder you put your Vib-Ribbon disc image in by browsing to the folder, entering it, and selecting Use This Directory.
Set the Cheat Files directory to sdmc:/ > retroarch > cheats and select Use This Directory for that. You'll find it handy later.
Finally, go all the way back to the Main Menu, select Load Content, Start Directory, and select your Vib-Ribbon disc image. Select the Sony - PlayStation (PCSX ReARMed) core if prompted.
When the game starts, tap the bottom screen to enter the Quick Menu.
Go to Core Options > Audio and make sure Reverb Effects is turned on.
I suggest you set the Sound Interpolation to either Gaussian or Cubic; you'll be doing your ears a favor.
Tap Resume Game on the bottom screen or select Resume in the Quick Menu to resume the game.

Congratulations! You now have Vib-Ribbon running on your New 3DS/2DS!
Phew! You might be shattered by now, so you can take a break here. Once you're ready to go on, click the link below to go to Part 2, where you'll set up custom music!

also re: pokémon DS games downloaded via 3DS homebrew. i said this a while back (& i think i made a correction but I don't remember) a while back i said that you can't play the games with IR in the cartridges b/c it triggers the antipiracy. this is actually false as the newest versions of the DS game launcher has patches that lets them be playable. so stuff like HGSS and BW and BW2 are perfectly playable when you pirate them onto a homebrewed 3DS (and as always homebrewing a 3DS is so epic)

For the ask thing I picked at random before I read them 90, 100, 23. Think you will like 100 tho
23. Have you ever watched people having sex?
nah i mean it could be cool maybe but i haven't had the chance to try it out ig fjkgkg
90. Who is the coolest person you follow here? Tag them.
ahhh um i think @aerisafterdark 😳 but all my moots are rad as fuck too tbh fjjfgkhl
100. Put your hand into your underwear right now and type a reply to this with your other hand. Say whatever you want, so long as you’re touching yourself as you type.
did you know that 3ds homebrew was originally made possible thru a obscure lil game called cubic ninja? by scanning a fucked up qr code with the level sharing feature you caused a buffet overflow which could be used to download and execute a launcher program from your sd card and thus run homebrew software

just finished modding my 3ds and WOW i have some choice words to say
— modding is voodoo black magic i will forever appreciate
— to the 3 people in the homebrew discord help channel that just actively ignored my questions. I hope you have a very unmerry thanksgiving and i apologize for my questions being phrased like shit
— im sad that i had to wipe my entire SD to make the launcher actually function, but. im not really that mad. all i lost was my pkmn data but honestly. considering that save file editing exists i can care less
its the nostalgia of playing through those saves i’ll miss. but whatever. i have cheats now:3
— pliers are my best friend now. fuck my shit ass HP laptop for continuously eating my SD card
— i am eternally glad that i started modding it early. it was 7:40 when i stopped and i started at around… 5? . if i started later then i l’d probably be eating much later
and i will now proudly mod the everloving shit out my 3ds and upgrade its rank from “omg my childhood baby” to “omg my eternal beloved”
