old thoughts on justin and homnibus

i don't even know what hb was planning to do with justin if he DIDN'T appear just once. it'd work for a few "some magic-related chaos happens and homnibus tries to pretend it's all normal or that it's not actually happening" jokes and maybe That was it but i can't stop thinking abt like. god the route they took was just so weirdly complicated and i think that's one of the obvious reasons besides "no one cares abt him or homnibus" he got dropped. the only way i could've seen it working is if they had him find out WAY too early for homnibus or just. literally had him tell justin "magic is real lol don't tell nobody" but also the character is very basic so it wouldn't have mattered otherwise. i doubt he'd have much of a personality even if he was given more screentime 😔

Hablo de todos

Bueno... Empecemos con lo principal, soy alguien que si tiene el chanse multishippeara a su personaje favorito, asi que...

Papá pitufo: Papawillow, pargamel? (no recuerdo como se llame el ship), papá pitufo/ madre naturaleza y un poco el papá pitufo/Homnibus. xDDDD

Luego tengo las que no tienen que ver con mi fav pero me gustan mucho tambien: Stormfette, Braifty, Vanefty, Brutsy (quiero pensar que asi se escriben las ships xD)

Y por ultimo estan las ships que me parecen lindas y ya, pero no me provocan emocion alguna: Brumsy, Blossom/Brainy, Smurfette/Lily, Handefty, Hefty/Smurfette, Stormy/Clumsy, ...

Se que es super limitado para la cantidad de personajes que hay en la franquicia, pero estas son las mas resaltantes la verdad...

37 years ago, The Root of Evil, an episode of The Smurfs (Classic) aired on NBC on October 25, 1986, This episode was TOTALLY brutal for me, as Homnibus sweeps away Papa Smurf with a broom, Farmer and Miner fight over a carrot, and Mother Nature scares Papa Smurf with her wand.

I might make some Smurf (AU) and I've been into Smurfs lately.

AU Backstory:

Here's Poltergeist Smurf, a smurf who has the ability of a Poltergeist. How can you activate this well its simple, just die......no seriously that's it...just die. Just like how this smurf did sonce he also wants to have some sort of talent like every other smurfs in the village so he tried to be a potion maker smurf but he put in the wrong ingredients and made an loud explosion. Papa Smurf heard it from his lab and ran towards his house but found nothing, just rubbles and a ghosty smurf to which he finds out he's dead!!!! Papa Smurf now feels guilt around himself since he wasn't able to save one of his children, Poltergeist doesn't mind being dead since he found his true self/talent but he does forgive Papa Smurf since it's not his fault actually.

Papa smurf can never forgive himself or tell Willow, Homnibus, Grandpa, Grandma or the other smurfs since he feels so much guilt. Poltergeist feels really bad since Papa blames himself but one day, he'll make Papa smurf see that it's not his fault for letting Poltergeist die.

wizards and wizards apprentices in the smurfs dont do shit. all they know is never get a love interest*, hubris, spellbooks with weird titles, thinking the end justifies the means, and pour liquid into other liquid.

*i was gonna make this bit “not interested in women” but unfortunately papa and selwyn had to be the exceptions to that. the rest of us though- lord balthazar being unmarried despite being well past the age expected for marriage in medieval times, gargamel not wanting to get married and being outright disgusted when cupids arrow makes hogatha fall in love with him, homnibus who lives alone and also doesnt have a wife, all the one-episode-wonder evil bastard wizards who arent on screen long enough to be into women, scruple going on a “date” with brenda but not having any interest in her and just doing it to get her wand, and of course last but not least brainy smurf just... being brainy smurf- the rest of us fit that.
