I'm not an expert on US law as I'm not from the united states but anything you may imply/say that doesn't suit your case could easily get used against you in court. Even if it's something you accidently slip up/not related it still may be.

And when you talk about serious issue in a rough situation it's easy to blurt out something that can be reread as malicious. And to add to the fact, Q is speaking in his second language.

I actually had that talk with an anon the other day, about how apologies for example can be used against you if by doing so you admit to wrongdoings like idk « I’m sorry we made you sign unlawful ndas ». (can’t seem to find the post that’s what i get for being so shit at tagging 🥲)

But yeah you’re right that in the face of a potential legal issues one must be careful with the things they say and the words they use but like if you chose to go live to talk about the situation then speak on it ? Like a thank you both for the work done and for making the problems known to him, a call to his community not to harass those who talked, wouldnt bring legal harm to anyone.

Plus, and now this is just my personal (from a moral, not a legal standpoint) opinion on this kind of situations, but when someone fucks up and want to fix their wrongs, shouldn’t they take their responsibilities and take action to do the right thing even if it might cost them rather than worry about protecting themselves from the repercussions of what they’re responsible of ?

And yeah definitely agree that it’s easy to slip up and say something you might end up regretting, especially when speaking a language that isn’t your primary one, and it’s why it would probably be best for Q/Qstudios to communicate via statements that are prewritten/reviewed by a law professional rather than Twitch streams. 🫠

Completely lost here, when should the next installment of your season 5 fic be out?

hi anon! i uploaded my last chapter exactly one week ago, so nothing new will be out for a while. as i said in my notes, the earliest i can get up the episode 7 script would be next sunday, and since i am working 6 days a week now, it most likely won’t be actually finished until sunday the 25th. and then the fic chapter will drop the week after!

i’m really sorry to have lost a consistent posting schedule, but i’m genuinely trying my best to still get quality content out to you guys in a relatively quick timeframe. i don’t ever want to sacrifice the quality of my writing just for the sake of weekly uploads. i hope you can understand! as soon as i have a concrete idea of when the next script and chapter will be posted, i'll let you guys know. but no worries—it will absolutely be sometime this month!

i am not an artist so this is probably none of my business but i am in the medical field so can i just say the way 99% of people draw gideon’s chest wound is completely anatomically incorrect

obviously we have no idea how big the fence post would have been but nearly everyone is drawing way too many ribs and ignoring the sternum. assuming it went right through her heart there should be like three ribs showing at most, and much thicker ones than i’ve seen portrayed:

there’s also the question of whether the rail went through her sternum or adjacent to it. in order for ribs to show on either side of a wound in the very center of her chest it would have had to punch right through her sternum and knock it completely out of place. it’s much more plausible that a wound to the left of the sternum would reveal jagged ribs on either side. it also just makes more sense in general since the heart is on the left side and the rail would have had an easier time impaling the cartilage on the inner ends of the ribs than the bone of the sternum.

anyway of course yknow. draw it however u want but i just wanted to provide some info on the anatomy of the whole thing :]

I read killing stalking and I am screaming its so fucked (in a good way?), I'm generally uncomfortable with the CONSTANT explicit and obviously fetishised rape scenes, its just gross, HOWEVER literally every other part of the comic portrayed this horrifically abusive relationship in such an interesting way, I almost fell for sangwoos bullshit later on when he was acting all vanilla and normal with Bum, BUT THAT WAS JUST YET ANOTHER layer of manipulation, maybe even subconsciously.

from all the talk about this comic a few years ago I thought it was just glorifying an abusive relationship but like no, you're not meant to want these two together, you're meant to root for Bum to get out, though again, the rape scenes are so much and so unnecessary and totally damped an actually interesting story

I gotta be honest 😅 I’ve kinda moved on from KS cuz I read it like a year ago, so I don’t really have the memory or energy to give this a proper thought out reply. But I will say I didn’t take any of the scenes from KS to be anywhere near fetishizing tbh. I’ll probably never experience a situation like the one in KS, and the only way I would ever know how scary and terrifying that would be is through a piece of literature like KS. Do some people take the content from KS and do…nefarious things with it? Yes. Does that mean Koogi was fetishizing SA/abuse? I…um…Based on my readings of Koogi interviews, absolutely no fetishizing was being done by the author.

And, I don’t mean for this to be rude, but no you’re not meant to root for Bum to get out. You’re meant for him to get help. In every aspect of his life, not just help away from Sangwoo. He’s not a perfect character and he’s not meant to be. He did hurt people and do bad things—even before he met Sangwoo, he’s a deeply flawed and broken character. Bum wasn’t the ‘good guy’ of the comic. Nor was he the bad guy. No one really was. That’s one of biggest points of the whole comic.

Sangwoo is the biggest example of this imo. What do you think would’ve changed about him if his mother hadn’t been his abuser?

I can get behind the idea that Pinky can read, write, and potentially MAYBE do basic math. However, The Brain has been shown reading, writing, and doing complicated math on multiple different occasions. This evidence immediately makes your claim void and false. hm. okay. this ask gets a complicated long answer.

before i state my response and opinion on this, i want to note i myself am an artist, and i’ve consulted many artists AND photographers on this topic, including my own father who is a professional artists and has to deal with stolen art CONSTANTLY.

straight up, i’m not going to be doing this. here’s why;

i have a hard strict rule that i will NOT use any art in its stereotypical meaning (drawn or painted) for any board. the ONLY exceptions to this is if it’s made by the requester, given to me by the requester, or are old / antique paintings. i also will not use a photo with a watermark because that clearly indicates they’re trying to profit off this photo, and don’t want it stolen.

with this, i only use pinterest for my moodboards and layouts. pinterest is viewed by a lot of people as free reign because 99% of it is reposted from somewhere else. is that okay? absolutely not but what can you do. most of it isn’t professional photography, simply random stock or pictures taken by normal people on their phone. half the photos on pinterest are posted by ad sites, or are stolen 99 times over. if you reverse image search an image i use, all that will show up is an avalanche of different pinterest links.

i’m not gonna be posting pinterest links because that feels like a bigger slap in the face than than no credit. that’s giving credit to someone who did not create it, which is even worse in my opinion than crediting nothing. that’s not better than nothing to me.

i will absolutely give credit if i know the explicit source of an image, that i will happily do. but if i don’t know the real source, i’m not. i am fully open and honest that NOTHING i post is my own except the formulation of boards and layouts, that i feel is enough. also finding the actual first explicit source of an image is near impossible when from pinterest.

l i have never seen any other moodboard account ever do this, so this isn’t like an overarching common sense rule i’m ignoring. also when you make a layout for your account, unless it’s art do you ever put link or photo credit? i have never seen that in my time on social media, and no offense anon i don’t think you do it either, no one does!

so TLDR; i’m not gonna be doing this. it seems more disrespectful than giving zero credit, and to me these images feel like they don’t need credit in general. if anyone has any other insight and opinions that side with why pinterest link credit should be given, please enlighten me, but i doing my opinion will change.

unfortunately i only write for fem!reader (she/her pronouns & afab) simply because i am & identify as a woman. i feel odd trying to write for someone im not and don’t identify as because i couldn’t completely represent them to the full extent they’d deserve in my fics. this rule will never change unfortunately. i will only ever write for fem!reader and fem! audiences (though you are always welcomed to read regardless. i think there’s even web browser extensions that replace certain words but im unsure). i don’t do m!reader, trans!reader or even gn!reader just simply because i couldn’t properly portray those targeted audience in a fic correctly (and how they’d deserve) and i’m not comfortable writing for different types of readers

Maybe it’s just a pet peeve but it’s vaguely annoying when hyper artists (big bellies, ass, boobs, what have you) make the torso super elongated and it’s fairly clear they didn’t check the proportions. Please at least sketch out a stick figure first, so someone’s legs aren’t twice as long as their torso. If it’s more of a giant/giantess thing then that’s one thing, but for an average person their spine does not in fact get longer to compensate for size of other assets

Just saw your recent post and it sort of reminded me of that one YouTube video I’ve watched regarding Goldmary’s Supports in Japanese.

Apparently, Goldmary and Etie’s B Support consists of these two flaunting their looks (ENG localization however kept it but instead change some details like looking at silverware), Goldmary’s Support with Framme and Yunaka are a lot more explicit in the former talked about weight gain and the latter mentioned undergarments upright.

Other than that, I agree that censorship in Engage is somewhat weird.
