wilson would definitely try to be as quiet as possible when first hearing you sing because it’s something he’s never heard before and he doesn’t want it to end. so he’s super discreet entering the house, closing the door very quietly and slipping off his shoes so he doesn’t make a sound, just smiling as he listens to you sing while maybe you’re working or cooking

for you it was such a reflex to sing while doing some mindless activity that you barely even notice wilson’s home and it’s not until you turn around and actually make eye contact with him that you stop because he startled you

he laughs out an apology, not meaning to scare you, but asking you to continue because it was so lovely hearing you sing, but you quickly became shy again knowing there was someone there listening to you

do maybe in an effort to convince you, wilson says he can leave the room and you can sing again without him there and it’ll be like there’s no one listening in. you want to say no initially, but that look in his eyes is pure excitement and he’s so genuine that you agree to give it a shot so he quickly leaves the room and you’re alone again

you want to pick a nice song to sing so it takes you moment to figure out what the best one would be, and when you settle on it and begin to sing wilson wishes you could see the huge smile on his face as he leans against the wall just listening to your voice and when you’re done he just comes back in and wraps you in his arms, giving you a sweet kiss and saying hopefully one day you’ll feel comfortable enough to sing whenever you want in front of him and you assure him that today definitely for you one step closer

I once had a landlord offhandedly mention that his mother had set this house on fire before. He and his wife lived on the first floor, and i rented the third.

Apparently his mom didn’t like his wife. So she set their house on fire. The house i was living in.
