Im here to spread my favorite pregnant Blake head canon: Blake likes to sew things for the bay-bee(s)!!!

Not sure how good she would be at sewing. Maybe that could be something she's taught, or maybe she finger crochets little blankies. There are so many options!!!

Qrow: Let's take a look. (Gives gentle tugs on the seams and gives the onesie a once over) Nicely done, kid. You're getting the hang of this.

Blake: (smiles and pulls out the next project - crocheting a yellow and white blanket with a purple border) I'm not going to lie, Qrow. I'm surprised you know how to sew.

Qrow: Eh. Comes with the job. I couldn't tell ya how many times I've had to fix my own clothes while out in the field. (Notices Yang pass by the bay window while mowing the lawn) Or how many times I've had to stitch up our little Firecracker's shirts and pants.

Blake: (giggles behind her hand and pets her swollen belly) I'm surprised she isn't better at sewing.

Qrow: She can patch a hole and fix a seam, but making clothes? Psh! Forget it.

Blake: (braiding her fingers as she crochets) Jack of All Trades is still better than an expert in one thing. (Feels the baby wiggle) I think the Little One agrees.

Yang: (walks up to the porch) How's the baby clothes coming?

Blake: (points to the mountain of shirts, onesies, socks, and other miscellaneous clothes) I'd say it's coming pretty well.

Yang: (shocked Pikachu face)

Keigo doesn't like being cold.

It might be a natural bird-thing, and it might be a trauma thing.

It's probably both.

When he was little, skinny, and always cold, his mother taught him how to make blankets with his talons and whatever yarn they found (or stole) around. It wasn’t knitting, per say, but close.

Often, they'd make patches and stitch them together into bigger blankets, but sometimes, when they were really lucky, they got their hands on some thick, good yarn.

When he was taken in by the commission, suddenly he had more than enough warm clothes and blankets, but it didn't stop him from having a need to make things.

One day, Mera, his personal contact in the commission, sneaks him in a book on knitting and crocheting, and a whole bunch of yarn and needles.

When he's making things, Keigo feels safe.

Like he can provide for himself, and he never has to be cold again.

He gets better rather quick, and soon he is giving everyone at the commission scarves, blankets, sweaters, socks, you name it, he made it.

The closer he got to his official hero debut, the less time he has for this hobby, and sooner than he knew, he didn't pick it back up for five years.

Then he met Dabi.

It was confusing, even though he quirk was rooted in fire, he always ran so cold. Like his own fire can't even keep him warm.

Keigo hates it.

So, he goes home, and he picks up his old knitting needles, his favorite super soft yarn, bright blue and the deepest black, and he knits.

He knits a scarf, then a hat, then a blanket, then a sweater.

He doesn't give him any of it, of course, that would be insane at this point, but just doing it helps him feel a little better.

After that, he starts knitting for fun again, just a little whenever he can, but man, it feels good.

The first thing he gives away is a pair of black, fingerless gloves too Tokoyami.

The kid wears them every single time Keigo sees him out of costume, even on the warmest days.

He moves on to little hats and scarves to his sidekicks, a blanket for Jeanist after he helps him with a huge case (it was the only thing Keigo figured he would need that wouldn't be made out of denim), and a sweater for himself.

When he gets to know the league better, Toga gets several of those beanies with the two puffs on them, Spinner gets a purple scarf that matches his hair, Twice gets a huge sweater, Compress gets some fancy gloves, and Shigaraki manages to talk his way into a very off putting looking crocheted Pikachu.

Dabi rolls his eyes and threatens to set fire to anything the bird tries to give him.

However, after everything blows over, when he's in rehab getting treatment for his nearly dying body and shattered mind, Touya gets a package delivered.

A big, chunky one.

Inside, there are a bunch of knitted things. Touya picks them up, one at a time, and looks at them carefully.

A scarf, then a hat, then a blanket, then a sweater.

In the brightest blue and deepest black, and the softest yarn.

And a single, red feather.

Touya doesn't even think before he pulls the sweater on, and throw the blanket over his legs.

Then he picks up the feather, and realizes it's tied to a string that goes perfectly around his neck.

He looks at it for a while, twists it around between his fingers, before he pulls it over his head and lies back down.

Maybe he was ready for a visitor soon.

What sports do you play/have you played?

None lmao. I've always been physically behind people my age, a lot of physical things (tying my shoe, whistling, learning dance steps, playing the piano) take me longer to learn, or I never get the hang of, so I wouldn't have fared well. My experience stops at playing tag and going on those razr scooters that hurt ur ankles

-reigen likes to crochet and esp likes to make stuff for other ppl. mob's gotten mountains of mittens, hats, coasters, and even the occassional cardigan or sweater. reigen also has mountains of unfinished projects he put down and never picked up again- he bounces from project to project, moving on when his motivation dries out. likes it better than knitting bc its faster and he thinks the variety of stitches is interesting

-serizawa likes to sew, but specifically for cosplay. when halloween rolls around, he makes costumes for the kids and himself. one year, he offhandedly mentioned to reigen a zelda cosplay he never got to wear, and thats how he and reigen ended up accidentally doing a link and zelda couples costume...

-mob has tried to learn both crochet and knitting, but doesn't really get either. crochet is too complicated, and everytime reigen's tried to teach him, it ends up with mob inexplicably tangled up in his own yarn. however, mob does really like videogames, esp life sims and the occasional fighting game. ppl underestimate him bc normally his reflexes aren't great, but he can play competitive level smash bros. his mains are jigglypuff and pikachu

-ritsu likes journaling but absolutely hates drawing. he also doesn't particularly like creative writing. he only really plays games with mob, but occassionally he'll pick up the odd rpg or anything shou wants to play with him (usually minecraft). he's a big pokemon fan but he's a little embarrassed by it, so he doesn't talk about it outside of shou and (after a very surprising conversation) serizawa

-shou didn't really have any hobbies growing up in claw, but now that he can, he wants to try everything. he picks up drawing again after his dad is arrested and, eventually, tries other mediums like oils and spray paint. he doesn't like how long it takes for normal paints to dry but he loves spray paint almost as much as he loves his sketchbook (which was a gift from ritsu; he won't admit it, but he hand-binded the book himself just for shou). likes to play any type of game, but only when with friends. otherwise, he thinks they're kinda lonely. ritsu is his favourite person to draw

-teru loves fashion, but is abysmal at sewing, so his favourite place to go for weird items is the thrift store. he loves the mall, but only ever goes if mob tags along, saying its more fun that way. the only thing he likes more than dressing up, is dressing others up- esp if that person is mob, since they share a style. he likes rhythm games and karaoke a lot and can play the guitar. has a not-so-secret obsession with vocaloid

-tome tries lots of hobbies but never really sticks to one thing. she likes researching aliens and other supernatural phenomena. has thought of starting a podcast, but isn't sure if she could commit herself to it enough. reigen thinks she needs to stop being so much like him if she wants to get anywhere in life... aside from that, she's really into retro games and takes up any chances she can to play with her friends. she cried once, the first time she saw serizawa's videogame collection

Ideas for my own Pokemon x Twisted Wonderland fanfic

Part 1 Introducing My Oc

Twisted Wonderland/Pokemon OC

Name: Alexia

Gender: Female Age: 9 (she later turns 10 in Twisted wonderland)

Partner Pokemon: Swinub (no name yet) Alexia’s first pokemon. They met when she was 5 and they both got lost in a mountain. They are both the same age and have a bond similar to Ash and Pikachu. Swinub is very upbeat, cheerful and can read his trainer very well. He is a lot more social than Alexia and is a major help in Alexia meeting new people (for good or bad).

Handicaps: High Functioning Autistic, insecure, PTSD, Hypersensitivity, not always socially aware, can be blunt, has difficulty with change, difficulty with people and large groups. 

Hair Color: Currently undecided

Skin Color: Band/Honey Tan with freckles

Eye Color: Crystal Blue

Family: Mom, Dad, Older Twin Brothers, Grandparents on Dad’s Side, Uncle is Professor Kakui, Aunt and Cousin in Kalos.

Personality Quirks:

Alexia is terrified of the pokemon Drowzee and Hypno to the point of a violent phobia. She is so terrified of them that she runs from them or attacks them with extreme prejudice with her bare hands.

Alexia loves crazy fashion. She has a Mimikyu Raincoat, black boots with neon stars, a collection of hats and coats, and crochets scarves for each of her pokemon.

Alexia has a childish disposition, but can be very mature when needed.

Family backstory: Alexia‘s father's side of the family are descendants of the aura guardians (and distant cousin’s to Ash Ketchum). Alexia is the only one in her family outside of her grandparents to inherit the powers of aura but due to her autism, she is unable to train by traditional methods which are the only methods that her family knows. As far as her family knows, Alexia is utterly untrained in her aura powers but in reality, Alexia is decently attuned to her aura. While she is not a master she is able to use her aura to activate time flowers, find Pokémon eggs, and read the hearts of most people and Pokémon which comes in handy when she enters twisted wonderland. She is also able to generate an aura veil to protect her from mental attacks (due to her fear of being hypnotized, but her autism actually makes her immune to hypnosis)

Personal Backstory: Alexia was the first in her immediate family to have High Functioning Autism which led to some issues throughout her childhood. She wasn’t very social with most kids her own age (a trait she still has), and though she does have a few friends, she usually prefers her own company or the company of her pokemon.

As a toddler, Alexia loved exploring and often sensed the energy and aura and would wander off to find it. This led her to encounter Darkrai when she was 5 and a large group of Unkown when she was 4. Darkrai opened his heart to Alexia after realizing she wasn’t scared of him (finding humor in the story her brothers told her about Hypno and how she was more afraid of that pokemon than him) and how she didn’t judge him for his nightmare powers.

At age 7, Alexia got bullied by her classmates and teachers so badly that she stopped leaving her room. This led her parents to have her live with Kakui in Alola, who recommended that she start her Pokemon Journey early in order to aid in her mental health. She completed the Island Challenge and then went to Kanto where she met Ash and became friends (she didn't join him on his journey, but they ran into each other and had adventures often, especially in the movies)

WOII week 4 & 5 (How to analyze a work of design) + (Field trip to the National Museum of Singapore)

Our activity today is to gather our image and pay attention to materials, craftsmanship, and contexts. I chose the Pikachu collectible I got from Kyoto as it can only be found there.

For the items I brought, I brought my spectacle case as I think it is a well-crafted item since it is compact, lightweight, and high quality. My second item is keys as it is useful and compact. Not to mention the amount of handiwork that is needed to fit exactly into the specific lock so that we can unlock the specific lock. My last item is the Kyoto Pikachu which is exclusive to the Kyoto store. The material used for the Pikachu kimono it wears which is handcrafted.

In week 5, we embarked on a class field trip to the National Museum of Singapore to gain inspiration for our design works as well as to document the experience at the end.

I find that the key visual suits the exhibit as it is displayed before the entry to the area which gives off the feel of one getting ready to take off and hop onto a plane to a new destination. I can see that the design got its inspiration from the flight information display flipboards. In Singapore Changi Airport this is present in Terminal 2 which is recently renovated as well.

I like the font and layout used in this graphic to show a more stylish approach to convey that it has multiple flying routes to different places.

I personally like the idea that the design has a symbolic meaning to it which I can also implement into my design works for craft montage and studio trading card by making use of more visual communication and context rather than all text base.

Tonight was fun.

Trick-or-treating was a blast. I had a lot of fun passing out candy to all the kiddos and seeing the cute costumes. My social anxiety subsided enough for me to do most of the passing out of candy and complimenting costumes! The best costumes I saw were:

• Evie

• A gypsy

Ate some sloppy joes & chips (my uncle prepared his own dip and it was so yummy!), and then I came home and wrote what I needed to article-wise. I'm about to turn in for the night, but I just wanted to make a post to reflect on how good this night was.

I also won some items from the auction site. I'm excited. I'll likely keep these items, but eventually, I plan on bidding on items that I'll turn around and flip for profit.

For the future, my income plans will be:

Recently (over the course of the last year or so) I’ve taken up crocheting and thought I would post some of my projects here! The Shaymin, Horsea, Sloth, and flower-string were commissions. The Pikachu + Starters were the first thing that I made (although these pictures are of my fourth attempt). I’m really happy with how all of these came out! The flower-string is 100 inches long and looks soooooo good in my friends room <3 The rest of the projects were all gifts for my friends/loved ones.
