6. Would you have joined the DA?

Now? Definitely!! As a student? I would hope so, yes. Fun fact about me is that we watched a documentary about the Scholl siblings in school when i was like 13/14 and that led to me having a full-on identity crisis where I asked myself if I would be able to be the kind of person who doesn't just do/say nothing when faced with injustice, and I was so scared of not being the kind of person who joins the resistance I literally had sleepless nights over this back then. So I think or at least hope I would have!

15. What character gives you the most gender envy?

Ohhhhh okay obviously Tonks has to be on this list (yes I know the ask said "character" but I refuse to name just one!). I also LOVE lesbian quidditch player Ginny oh god. And Marlene. oof. Just Marlene! And early 2010s-fanon butch Dorcas?! YES. BUTCH DORCAS. Also, obviously Sirius Black in all his leather-jacket wearing dog collar and doc martens aesthetic glory.

do you think that the hermione-fication of every character in every. single. fandom. is also a fucking plague. (its not even just other fandoms, all characters are thought of as being unable to function if hermione and remus are not there AND I RAGE SO MUCH-)

stop making my queen lily evans a marauders era hermione. stop making other girls appear dumb for not focusing on just studies.

while I'm not a big fan of lily evans, this is so true. every single meme, incorrect quote, fic, etc, are just filled with this trope, and while I understand that it can be funny at times, it just gets tiring. Like harry and ron were just as smart, and had just as much of a hand in all the plans being made. Honestly, it kind of pisses me off how in DH, harry and ron didn't do jack shit and hermione was the one prepping for the journey, taking care of everything and they just didn't do shit cuz "we can't, you're the best at spells" as if they couldn't survive without her. The fandom literally basically shows that no character can function unless hermione or remus is there, as if a reading of "hogwarts: a history" would be of any help in boiling an egg. I haven't read the books in a long while and I don't engage with the fandom a lot cuz of jkr, but this is still an ick for me.

44. Who would dance in the kitchen making dinner? Would the other join in or watch from the doorway?

I head canon Harry as the better/more frequent cook, but I think Ginny would goof off more in the kitchen when she does cook. She'd be more likely to dance around in the kitchen, whereas Harry takes cooking more seriously and uses it as a time to think. If Ginny was dancing around while cooking, Harry would watch from the doorway. However, if she gestured for Harry to join, he absolutely would.

45. Can they fall asleep without the other?

Yes! One of the things that makes Harry and Ginny my OTP is that I think they're really independent. They choose to be together and they love each other very very much, but they don't need each other in the sense that they can't function alone. I think they are a great comfort to one another and that like any happy couple, they're bummed when they spend nights away from each other, but they're both strong and independent enough to be ok on their own.

60. Who pulls the other closer when they’re sleeping?

100% Harry. Even though he experienced very little loving touch growing up, I just can't help but head canon him as being very physically affectionate with Ginny. I can picture him so clearly pulling her in close as they fall asleep and thinking how lucky and happy he is. It melts my icy little heart.

I saw in the comment section of Beyond the Veil that Voldemort scene was your work! Have to congratulate you on that scene - so many suggestions of internal politics, politics that Voldemort takes advantage of! Rowle trying to blame Snape, Voldemort still punishing Rowle but questioning Snape as well, Draco and the Malfoys being humiliated. As ashesandhackles said in comments precisely - you replicated the vibe of Dark Lord Ascending chapter! Great stuff and thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much! Haha, there were moments where I thought his pov might have come across as being too Disney villain-ish, but then Voldemort is pretty much your standard Disney villain, so I just played into it. It was an interesting scene to write because Voldemort is such an obviously evil villain but it ended up becoming fun because of that. He could say all of these awful and disgusting things without me overthinking it. So glad you enjoyed it! ^_^

2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?

Snily and Wolfstar and maybe Harmione (although I get the premise of these, these characters just don’t personally mesh well for me in a romantic ship).

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

Ok so, I used to heavily dislike Snape lol, but thanks to my friends @ashesandhackles @thedreamermusing (yes you 😆) @urupotter and the very … insightful 😂 … discussions we’ve had, I’ve come around. I feel like I had a very surface level view and understanding of his character. I now appreciate Snape and his arc for all that it is. I appreciate the integral part of the story that he is. I’ve leaned a lot further into his friendship with Lily, the dynamic of this friendship completely fascinates me, particularly during their childhood and early years at Hogwarts. The parallels between Snape and Sirius are also fascinating to me, there’re so many and there’s so much to flesh out there, and beyond that, when you look at Snape’s rivalry with James and dig deeper into the class connotations surrounding it, when you really analyse the dynamic behind all of these pre-canon relationships and the circumstances surrounding them, you get a much deeper appreciation for his character and everything that we see unfold in canon. All round it’s been a journey of understanding that his flaws only make him more compelling and that you don’t have to be an apologist of his flaws to appreciate him as a character.

if you could have any fantastic beast as a pet which would it be?

I am a normie who loves cats, so a kneazle would be absolute perfection for me. A super smart cat who picked me and might outlive me? That is such a dream come true.

My more adventurous answer is a demiguise. It was my favorite creature in the Fantastic Beasts movie, and I am so fascinated by it. There is this ethereal and haunting aura to a demiguise that I really love. It is a mysterious creature that you would have difficulty perceiving while it can see not only you as you are now, but also who you could be. What an eerie little thing.

Thank you! 🖤✨✨ VII - pensieve - if there was one character whose memories you could look at who would it be and why? Usually, I think I would like to see Lucius Malfoy's memories because it would fill in a lot of blanks about wizarding society, the Death Eaters and Snape's pre-double agent days. Someone completely random like a shopkeeper in Diagon Alley would be neat too! Not everything's about Potter after all lol.

VIII - ministry - what would be your dream job in the wizarding world? Hmmm... hard to say. Spell inventor would be my top choice but it doesn't seem to be paid position. However, if Newt Scwhatshisname can make a whole bestiary in a suitcase, I'm sure I could conjure up a traveling house/laboratory complete with a little garden and not have to pay any bills! Preferably I'd have an assistant(s) or housekeeper to take care of all those domestic details while I do ✨science ✨. And we can make potion ingredients for my experiments plus sell the surpluses off to the wizards for $$$ to pay all the wizards taxes if there are any and to provide a salary for all my wonderful magical interns (Because I ain't owning any slaves).

36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?'

I love this one!

So I have to have music to get into the mood for writing. That means picking one song and listening to it for however long it takes to get the chapter written. It's my way of making sure everything is in the same tone, and I have playlists for my ships and writing in general to kind of fast track it. Typically I find a lyric in the song that really speaks to me for the theme and take it from there.

Title I'm most proud of is so difficult. Because of the theme and how well it fits I'm gonna go with "I Could Fly With the Boy on the Moon"

okay from the "real" subjects? History of Magic or Magical Theory would be cool! Like, they're the kind of subjects everyone is inclined to hate because they think they're going to be so dry and boring but I think History and Theory can be so fascinating and cool if taught well?! 8. What happens if one of them gets sick?

They're both stubborn about admitting when they're sick. Ginny's pretty calm and collected when Harry's sick, but Harry is a total worrier when it's her. Sometimes she's a little annoyed by it because it's hypocritical (especially since he has a fairly dangerous career and ends up injured that way from time to time), but mostly she thinks it's sweet.

20. Choose one song that perfectly describes their relationship.

Hugging You by Tom Rosenthal! (Specifically the acoustic version) It's hopeful, but sort of sad, and I think of it as Harry and Ginny in the summer of 1998 slowly coming to terms with everything that's happened and learning to be happy together again.

39. Who would rescue an injured animal and nurse it back to health? What would the other think?

I can see both of them doing something like this. Harry has a compulsion to fix things, and both he and Ginny are fond of and good with animals in the books.

They would find it endearing, but they'd definitely tease each other - probably calling the rescuer Hagrid in an affectionate way.

40. Who has an insatiable appetite? And what does the other do to help?

I don't think this really applies to either of them.

42. What's their favorite type of weather to enjoy together? (getting snowed in together, watching thunderstorms, etc.)

They like the rain. They curl up on the couch together, each with a good book, and enjoy the sound of the rain hitting the windows.

Based on this prompt: Draco has received news of a rare magical creature sighting and has been called in to illustrate the animal and it’s natural habitat/den. Only problem is: he can’t find anyone to pet sit his beloved animals and seeks outsider help by hiring a pet sitter through a wizarding company. Enter: Harry James Potter, pet sitter extraordinaire and living his best life hanging out with animals all over Britain, enjoying the vast and interesting towns and houses he finds himself in. Draco, loves his animals so much and asks to have regular contact through letters.

Dear Potter, I am writing to ask for your help again to take care of my pets. Unfortunately for me, they seem to have grown on you and they have been misbehaving with any other pet sitter.
