Waiting for new episodes of She and Her Perfect Husband and Between Us, I started watching Sleepless Princess - yes, yes, yes, I still haven't finished The King's Avatar, I know, but, well, too many modern dramas make Kati a cranky woman - and it's hilarious! I'm only on episode 3 - he still thinks she's the king's spy and she still thinks he plans to murder her in her sleep - but it's hilarious!

Why did I choose this one? Zheng. Yecheng. Zheng Yecheng and his lovely, lovely real voice. No wonder this man studied opera. His voice is... mwah! And this being ZYC, his chemistry with Hu Yixuan is once again off the charts - seriously, this man has chemistry with a chair! Can't wait to hit the real emotional stage because nothing gets you harder than angst in a comedy drama!

Cute, cheesy, predictable, fluffy, farfetched, cliche, basically everything you probably saw before that has a married contact / CEO ….yeah you know the type especially in a cdrama but with a twist 😉Seriously though, this is so worth the watch if you love romantic fluffy romcoms. The child in this is beyond adorable and for me steals almost every scene. Yes, the storyline is a bit outrageous, I mean the whole idea of a child psychologist ‘forced’ to marry to help a child because he wants her to become his mom…… yes it’s a bit 🤪 but you just kind of go along with it. The cast (especially the main leads cause oof) has phenomenal chemistry together which makes all the craziness a bit more forgivable. At least for me it did. This drama definitely won’t be for everyone.

Does anyone else wish we had more content of He Xuan in the original novel? He's literally one of the two ghost kings to ever emerge from mount Tonglu, and he did it in 12 years. He's definitely super strong, but we don't really get to see him fight any one on page. I also want to see how him and Hua Cheng met. It was probably so funny. I WANT HUA CHENG HU XUAN FRIENDSHIP. I also want to know how he met Shi Qingxuan. How did Wind Master decide they would be best friends. I NEED MORE BEEFLEAF BACKSTORY!

Review of drama:

Good action scenes and good whump. No aftercare for those who were looking for it. Very realistic whump and clear exhaustion is seen in the behavior of the characters in the later episodes when they have been going through the tomb for hours. I like the character development for Ma Da Dan, who also got the ending he deserved, after all the trials of the tomb. Luckily, I was able to post this exactly one year after the previous one. I apologize to anyone who was waiting for it, though seeing the amount of interaction on the previous one, not many people were. I will start working on the third season soon, for those looking for it. If I missed anything, please feel free to let me know and any requests for whump lists are welcome.
