The vehicle is the extension of the pilot’s body. He will feel safer, stronger and faster in it, but also need years of experience to be come an ace.
Now with the help from our alien masters, we don’t have to waste our time. Instead of making the machine part of man, they make man part of machine.
You may feel constantly euphoric when you are installed in the machine, used as the core compartment of the vehicle. Yet your brain will be computerized to be 100% logical, never out of control again. Your organic body is useless, will be converted into super alloys and melted with the machine.
The vehicle is your real body, you are the brain of this body, and the alien AI is your master. In the strong wind, you feel proud and excited that you have become such a powerful being.
Obedience is no cons but only pros and pleasure.
Don’t hesitate anymore! Come and join the ranks now!

The leftism/anticapitalism leaving people's bodies the zeptosecond you imply that disabled people who aren't "productive" still matter in society and need to be treated like intrinsic equals who have a place in this world:

you know what gets me is when f1 drivers take their balaclavas off at the end of a race and the imprints are visible on their face and it looks like the panels on a robot. something about humans extracting themselves from a machine they just spent hours merged with and seeing the marks left by its touch

It's good that our finest minds have focused on automating writing and making art, two things human beings do simply because it brings them joy. Meanwhile tens of thousands of people risk their lives every day breaking down ships, a task that nobody is in a particular hurry to automate because those lives are considered cheap https://www.dw.com/en/shipbreaking-recycling-a-ship-is-always-dangerous/a-18155491 (Headline: 'Recycling a ship is always dangerous.' on Deutsche Welle) A world where computers write and make art while human beings break their backs cleaning up toxic messes is the exact opposite of the world I thought I was signing up for when I got into programming

hey, remember being 18 years old and playing mass effect for the first time and it's got this like intense aura of being very small and very insignificant in a very big, very empty galaxy? remember playing mass effect for the first time and everything all of this is so new and mysterious, and it's 2am and you're sitting in a dark room in the light from your tv and you're playing through feros for the first time and you feel that this is someting very old and very ancient and you are somewhere you shouldn't be and you don't know what's going to happen or where you're going but you keep on. there's a tingling in your stomach and you're playing mass effect for the first time. the thorian is a milennia old sentient plant being. the rachni queen is old and telepathic and a hive mind and in pain. sovereign is an ancient machine that has not been built but is, and has always been, and this is something so alien and so unlike and beyond anything your human mind can comprehend, and this is something unexplainable and huge and as uncaring and indifferent as the empty galaxy around you. you're playing mass effect for the first time and you're walking on the surface of an almost completely empty planet with nothing but your two companions silently walking beside you and everything is so huge and empty and silent and you're so small and insignificant and it's so beautiful and so scary and you feel like you are on a rollercoaster about to drop down. you are playing mass effect for the first time and you're playing the mission on the moon and you stop and just look up at earth visible in the sky. you know this. this is home. you are playing mass effect for the first time, and the galaxy is so big, and you are so tiny, and everything is about to change for you.
