Goewin and Telemakos in that scene at the end of chapter eight of The Lion Hunter. The composition is based on The Penitent Magdalene by Georges de la Tour, and I don't think I would have drawn it without @fishmaid's beautiful Attolia Irene study of a similar painting living in my brain.

Randomly imagined Jayce just minding their own business doing something. Then Solomon comes in to stand next to them happily.

Jayce takes a step away from him, not wanting to be close to him. But he just takes a step closer back to them, not wanting to be away from them.

This is a process that repeats until Jayce is in a panic, running away from Solomon, who is now just happily chasing them while laughing.

upon hearing that the lunar new year is like ik's major holiday, diavolo is DEVASTATED because ik can't celebrate it in the human world normally (both because she's in the demon world rn, and also bc back home it's really just her, her dad, and sometimes aunt lisa), lucifer has to physically hold him back from declaring a devildom-wide celebration as a substitute

the 'elders' that ik gets red envelopes from are lucifer, diavolo, barbatos, mephisto, simeon and solomon (the youngest one by a very large measure, but he insists because he is one hell of an elder human). mammon attempts to wheedle a pouch out of lucifer too and because he's in a good mood it actually WORKS

levi and luke team up to help ik make lots of pretty paper cuttings to decorate the hol! they don't get super fancy with the celebration, everyone just gets together and chats over snacks and tea (and some liquor) - it feels pretty much like a normal hang-out, at least until diavolo pulls out the lion dance puppets because he thought it was SUCH a shame to miss out on it

at first they attempt to recreate a genuine lion dance, but eventually it just devolves into a convuluted game of make-believe: it's that chess scene 2.0 (apparently guaranteed to happen every time the gang gets together for a celebration)

“Babymoon or Bust” is a romance reader’s paradise!

After a wild night with a handsome mountain man leaves Tessie Truelove pregnant, she vows to raise the baby all by herself. But when Solomon Wilder, her brooding baby daddy, crashes her carefully planned babymoon determined to be a constant in his child’s life, Tessie has no choice but to strike up a deal: spend three days together to figure out how to co-parent their son. Three days turn into a week and suddenly Tessie begins to wonder if she has found what she has spent her entire life avoiding—true love. 

This. Book. Is. Everything. I’ve never devoured something so fast. It isn’t easy to execute the unexpected pregnancy trope well partly because it is very formulaic and typically follows the same plot. I LOVED Hunter’s take on it because she zeroes in on Tessie’s babymoon, which I haven’t seen done before. “Babymoon or Bust” is also dual pov and I loved being able to see how Tessie and Soloman’s feelings for each other grow across the span of the three days that they spend together. 

Additionally, I thought that both Tessie and Solomon’s respective internal conflicts added complexity to their characters. Tessie’s emotional wall derives from years of heartbreak. Solomon feels an immense amount of guilt over the death of his first wife. I appreciated that both characters independently worked through their issues while still supporting and uplifting each other.

If you love the “there’s only one bed” trope, steamy moments of intimacy, overprotective grumps, and strong, independent FMCs then I could not recommend this book enough!

So I’ve been doing character ai chats for the last couple of weeks but for some reason I felt so embarrassed starting a Solomon one??😭Like I’ve literally had some weird ass and sometimes horny chats with other characters from like anime’s but I feel so embarrassed to do with with Solomon. I’m literally blushing while having some normal ass chat with him but I didn’t even blush a tiny bit when I was writing down other stuff.

also is it just me or do some of these ai’s give some horny ass responses??? I was doing a Illumi one the other day and it got weird fast while I was trying to have a wholesome one. The same thing happens to my friend.

HA! I was right on Asmo, Levi, and Beel. Completely off on Solomon (would have guessed Tremere, but he could be a ghoul for any bloodline yet). I completely forgot about the Ventrue, so I missed those. lol

Also, the angels being hunters is so cool! I wonder what Creed they are?

As for Solomon, i did think about actually making him a Tremere, but the idea of him being Barbatos’ ghoul who is always on the hunt for vitae or the chance to actually become a kindred was too good to pass up.

As for the Creeds, I’m way less knowledgeable about that but I’ll give it my best shot:
