During his observations, he noticed, that Reader didn't do anything wrong. They were a normal, tired person. Cyno heard, how Reader cry themselves to sleep, missing their home and friends.

He helped Dehya fight with a group of eremites, who tried to capture Reader.

He left Dehya and Reader without the word. He has many things to think about.

But, somehow, Reader managed to avoid every patrol.

Nahida gave Collei instructions on where to take Reader, when she met them.

Collei managed to get Reader away from Forest Rangers patrols. Thanks to Collei, Reader's 'trip' to Vanarana went almost peacefully, except a run in Cyno.

When Charlotte met Reader, she almost interrogates them for an interview. Charlotte learned everything about Reader's journey so far. She decided to keep the information for now. If time comes, she will use it.

She is also on Reader's side.

She does observe Reader's behavior. So far, Reader didn't break any of Fontaine's laws.

When Neuvillette became more restless is searching for Reader, some people from Fleuve Cendre wanted to hang Reader. This way they would escape Neuvillette's wrath and Reader won't suffer through torture. Chevreuse stopped them, saved Reader and started a meeting with everyone, who lived in Fleuve Cendre. The same meeting, that end in Navia and Spina di Rosula (and Furina) took Reader to Melusines' village.

I have a cat so I wonder if Venti’s allergies can even set off to real life cats? What if he is still in the game and the player’s cat is nearby? Does he hear the meow and then freeze up?

I think that his allergies would be triggered by real life cats too, I mean there's no reason why they wouldn't be, I don't think it would be triggered with him still in the game, though in one of his character lines he literally sneezes just from thinking about cats which is kinda funny

But yeah, it would certainly be a hitch in the plan, he would probably immediately jump into your arms at hearing the sound of a cat, then have to deal with the absolute dread that comes with the knowledge that he is going to be in close proximity with one for an extended period of time

It would be absolute torture but he would not even think twice about resigning himself to that fate, if being incredibly uncomfortable 24/7 is what it takes to be near you then that's simply what's going to be done, nothing you can say will deter him

Luckily there are a few solutions to this

For starters, if you were just particularly lucky, you might have a hypoallergenic cat, which could greatly reduce the effect of allergies

The second solution is over the counter medication meant specifically to deal with cat allergies, because there's certainly an abundance of allergy meds that exist here which don't there, so this is probably going to be your best choice (if he ever gets you to go back with him he's taking a lifetime supply of that stuff btw)

If all else fails the final solution is just the seclusion method, whether you choose to seclude Venti or the cat is entirely up to you

But he is absolutely going to make it work no matter what method you go with, that's a guarantee

(Also imagine you both sitting on opposite ends of a couch, cat in your lap, Venti glaring daggers at it, wanting nothing more than to be in its place, occasionally asking you when it's his turn with that playful tone which does little to hide his very obvious jealousy)

Personality: um my friends would describe me as a caring, gentle person - who ya can always vent to / go to when you have problems. Many people also say I have some kind of Rizz (even people on Tumblr here 👁️) but I am just being honest with them 🤭 but also; even I am not perfect. On Xiao and age/maturity.

This serves as both a headcanon and a vent post, inspired mainly by the fact that I keep running into the narrative that Xiao is a teenager or otherwise viewed as a "child", mainly due to his shorter stature (and Eng dub?). I find this super bewildering and even demeaning, personally, and it frankly gives me a bit of an ick.

Xiao is older than most currently living characters in the game. He was already a part of the five foremost yaksha when Guizhong died in the earlier stages of the archon war. Before that, he was enslaved by a nameless god for an undisclosed amount of time. We don't know how long he has been alive before this god got their hands on him, but I believe it's unlikely he was snatched up right after his birth/cultivation. (There even is an argument to be made that Xiao lived as a mortal human or animal prior to gaining his immortality, though I'm not knowledgable on the topic.)

I myself place Xiao at around 4000 years old, and I think that's a realistic estimate of his canon age. He was around during the early stages of the archon war as a member of the five foremost yaksha. He was canonically involved in the sealing of Guizhong.

Xiao isn't a child despite being described as having the appearance of a youth. Claiming otherwise is incredibly demeaning (also to actual people who simply look younger than they are). He isn't a moody teenager. And he especially isn't 'coded' as a minor simply because he has a smaller character model. I don't see people infantilizing Cyno or Venti (who are actually smaller than him, btw!).

Xiao is a soldier, deeply traumatized and weary of life. If anything, he is old, ancient, and feels it in every inch on his body.

He's a cranky old man, and I mean that in the most loving way possible.

My parents get mad at me when I don't tell them what I'm listening to (music-wise), and then whenever my song comes up on the playlist in the car I get judged.

Yes I know. I have acne, it's been in my life since I was 11. I have a million different products, but can never keep using them long enough to work.

I've had skin rashes, acne, whiteheads, blackheads. They're small, but there's so many, and they're all over my face. So I look red all the time.

"Oh, why don't you wear makeup?" that's like saying "If you have glasses and are insecure about how you look with them, just take them off" <- it makes their eyesight worse. They can't see without them. They don't feel comfortable putting contacts on. etc. etc.

i personally think he wouldn’t take a date at the angels share over a picnic, he probably gets a bit antsy if he hasn’t been outside all day or has for only very minimal amounts of time. of course he understands if you don’t want to go out and lay on a blanket under windrise, and is willing to compromise with one spread on a balcony within the city, or a roof if you’re willing. anywhere where he can see the stars, where the wind blows through his hair, where he’s quite literally in his element.

one perk of being the creator is that you don’t have to worry about bug bites or allergies anymore, nor about getting sick. but above all, your wants matter, and if you insist on a more traditional dinner then he’ll oblige. he’d obviously prefer balcony seats��or just anything near a window, really—but a relationship is a two way street, and he’s willing if it makes you happy.

part of it is, as you’d expect, his being the anemo archon. he does adore nature, and would love to bask in the beauty of your creation with you. he admittedly isn’t the best at cooking as most of his meals consist of apples pulled right off the tree, but seeing you enjoy food that he made does give his confidence a boost. he likes being liked by you, and will do everything in his power to keep it that way. he’s been without you for far too long to lose you to his selfishness now, and any discomfort fades quickly enough with a strong breeze and the memory of your smile. you’re happy, so he’s happy, and even though he doesn’t understand what if means to be divine… he is happy you try to share it with him. take a detour on the way back to the city, stop by starsnatch cliff for longer than you intend to, let him put a cecelia in your hair and say something soft that makes your heart pick up. his own soul flutters at your smile, and he can’t imagine any other place he’d rather be.

Astrophysics major I designed yn to be more like Ai Hoshino just with a little more hints of spice (by that I mean the whole smarty pants thing, the whole lies thing will make sense more into the story bc I plan on stretching it out a lot), I know oshi no ko anime ended already but it's so addicting esp the opening so that's where the whole persona comes from since its a bit weird to have random people in the group I decided that hu tao would be there for comedy reasons, lumine because of aether, Ayaka because of the whole ayato thing and I just think she fits as a manager/co-manager and everyone needs a rich friend. Kokomi bc I purely think she'd be the sweetest ever she has humor shes cute aesthetic etc and I js love her. Yoimiya is there for ayamiya purposes, and Mona bc I'm so in love with her omg I don't even ship Scaramona but I have no other ideas anyway I made yn an astronomy geek since it's similar to astrology (not really but u get it) perfectionist, like literally got valedictorian instead of mona by a penny. oh also the visual and main vocalist (plays guitar when the song needs it) btw (sorry) she's good with Childe and Kaeya, while both of them are basically affiliated w everyone.

lumine ! Music Performance major loves her brother but does tease him and always proclaims to be the better twin to throw him off. even tho your group doesn't always use instruments like heizous, she specializes in the guitarist zone. (think of this group as b-Komachi) had the potential to be the visual but Kokomi bombed it. As mentioned, she's in the same major as her brother and sometimes shares morning classes with Venti. Along with hu tao she also often indulges in teasing and comedy.

kokomi ! Fashion Design major kokomi is in charge of the ideas for on-stage outfits while submitting them and letting Jean and Ayaka handle the rest.. Judging by her exterior, she's a visual not just because of her fashion and appearance, but also because of her extremely kind nature. I swear she's like a prototype of Mizuki and wonyoung (pjsekai) and takes some responsibility along with Ayaka.

ayaka ! Business, Management, etc major following in ayatos footsteps, she's in the same department as he used to be. Planning to finish college and go to be a director in the entertainment industry. she doesn't mind becoming a movie director or anything related to (public entertainment.) However, when Ayato does one day retire, she would have to either take on his duties and leave her own, or somehow manage to take care of everything at once (example)

hu tao ! Business major very often has the same classes as ayaka since the management part of ayakas major is done separately to keep focus. She takes after-school music classes hence she IS an idol. she does lead the funeral parlor, but not everyone knows that. She wants to continue the funeral parlor as long as she can to let someone else from her family inherit it, as it is very important to her. She's also more on the humor/entertainment side of this story like lumine.

mona ! Astrophysics major in the same major as yn and kuni, Mona tries not to make name a third-wheel so she tries not to talk to him TOO often. mona is also really close with name. She's often to be called a tsundere and very stoic. but that doesn't apply to people she's really comfortable with. She's more into zodiacs and astrology than astronomy even tho it's similar.

yoimiya ! General Studies major at first, she didn't know what to major in. She wanted to continue her love for fireworks, but also her idol career. She took on general studies to make sure she hones her skills, and decide what to pursue her career into later on. She almost chose the same major as ayaka but ayaka helped her sort everything out for what is best for her. She really loves ayaka and is closest to her, she often hangs out with thoma when ayaka and ayato are out of town. She can play multiple instruments like the guitar, and electric guitar (same thing) cello, and drums.

note ; i finally finished their profiles... I forgot to add yoimiyas profile so ill add it later, I really have no idea how these charas would be in college and modern au neither do I have a CLUEE what college majors there are...I know some but I just have no clue what they would choose so I js went along with the storyline. I'm currently writing chapter 4 !!! idk where I'm going w the whole ayato thing i think it's kinda corny but I needed someone for angst.. and I hate ayato.

Idk why there's blanks there, but whatev. I guess this is talking about how you can only be someone if you're strong enough to win fights. The last part is a confusion to me.

Varunada Lazurite - My ideals have no stains. I must correct you. People here bear no sins in the eyes of the gods... Only laws and the Tribunal can judge someone. They can judge even me. So praise my magnificence and purity.

Ok, oof. So, this one is just the Hydro Archon being like "Hey, I wrote the rules cause they're ones I follow so I'm perfect and you all suck and I'm never wrong." That's legit all I'm getting from that.

Nagadus Emerald - I had a very, very long dream... In it, people were holding hands, dancing in a circle, be they sages or fools, dancers or warriors, puppets or statues of gods... That dancing circle embodied everything about the universe. Life has always been the end, while it is wisdom that shall be the means.

So, I'm dumb and barely understand this one, but I guess it's just saying that everyone's equal but knowledge is everything? Idk???

Vajrada Amethyst - This body is the noblest and most eminent of all in this world. It should hold absolute control over this world. It once promised its people a dream: the never-changing 'eternity.'

This is legit just how the Raiden Shogun would describe herself. "I'm perfect, and I've promised you eternity, so I'm everything." That's basically it.

Vayuda Turquoise - Still, the winds change direction. Someday, they will blow towards a brighter future... Take my blessings and live leisurely from this day onward.

This is (from what I understand) what Venti probably said after that giant war with the king (I've barely read that lore so don't get on me about that). But yeah, just Venti being like, "Live freely and let me drink."

Shivada Jade - Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world. Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? Then, burn away the old world for me.

Um, a little confusing, but I guess this is just saying that the Cryo Archon is taking people's traumatic past and being like "You've been through a lot. Come fight for me and I'll make it better." Then behind her back, she's like "Psych, dumbass." So... yeah. But I can def see that her main goal is to change the world. That's obv.

Prithiva Topaz - The currencies that flow through this land are my flesh and blood. For thus did I become the guarantor of the people's hard work, wisdom, and future. This is the trust I have placed in them. Betray it, and you taint my blood.

Aw. This one's the sweetest of them all. (That makes me sound crazy, but who cares). Zhongli being all "Here, live a good life. But if you betray my ways, you taint me. Don't wound me." And that just sounds so cute and adorable to me.

All in all, pretty cool. I don't look too far into the lore, but this was cool to come across.
