Like, one day a kid just randomly shows up at the farmer's doorstep with a social worker and farmer had to explain that their ex couldn't keep the child anymore, and the kid is also super anxious about moving in with them or something.

I'm really sorry- it was a scenario I've seen dabbled into once and I'm just very curious as to what others think of it too aha.

SDV bachelors x Farmer, that already has a kid from a different relationship:

Shane:

Oh, man. This is all very awkward...

Shane knew about Farmer's ex, the reason for the breakup and the fact that the child was in the care of their ex in Zuzu City.

Farmer visited their child almost every week, calling and writing letters, but Shane himself was not particularly involved, not knowing how to approach the little one.

Naturally, when the kid came to visit the farm, the chicken man would try to make the kid feel comfortable, but considering everything they'd been through, even here it was pretty awkward.

On the plus side, they was the same age as Jas, and the kids had become fast friends in a short time.

Farmer encouraged their spouse's attempts at friendship with their kid, but again, things were still pretty awkward.

When the Farmer's child arrived with a social worker some time later, Shane noticed how much the little one resembled him in his yought - confused, scared, resentful of everyone and tired of everything. Their familiar world where both parents were together was gone forever.

Later, Shane was able to explain how he'd been in a similar situation, how he'd almost lost because of the mistakes he'd made trying to cope with pain.

The kid quickly found common ground with him. Especially after they confessed that they liked chickens!

Shane doesn't claim to be a father, as the kid is pretty mature and understands on their own.

But he will treat them with the same care and responsibility as he does Jas.

They are all kinda weird family, but Shane loves them all and still can't believe how lucky he is.

Sam:

It's quite a tricky situation, but thanks to his friendliness and personality, Sam is great with kids.

When Farmer finally introduced their kid to Sam, the young guitarist immediately went into cool brother/uncle mode.

The kid was worried, but Sam began to slowly gain their trust by asking about their interest in comics or other hobbies.

It makes him happy that the kid can forget about problem and concerns at least for now, because children should be happy and play while they have their childhood.

Sam knows that Farmer broke up with their ex more or less calmly, without scandal or drama, but he knows, like Farmer, it was still hard for the kid.

He's glad that he and Farmer are trying their best to be in theirs life.

The kid's upset look and the presence of the social worker took Sam by surprise.

While the social worker was talking to Farmer, Sam offered the anxious kid something to eat. Or some space, if they still feel uncomfortable.

After learning the reason for the visit and the fact that the kid will now live on the farm, Sam gently asks his partner how he should handle this. He wants to cheer the kid up, but he also doesn't want to make them more anxious.

Fortunately, Vincent and the kid get along quickly, which pleases both Farmer and Sam. Now, though, they need to keep an eye on the kids, or they'll both get into more trouble.

Jodi and Kent also do everything they can to make Farmer's kid feel comfortable (Jodi now spoils them with tasty baked goods).

Farmer can't help but be joyful with how hard Sam tries for them and their kid and his family to keep everyone happy.

Alex:

Farmer was telling Alex about their loser ex, who had decided to trade Farmer and their child for a some stranger. What a shameless cheater...

Farmer visited their kid almost every week, but Alex was only able to go with them a few times.

At the sight of their ex, the athlete was so itching to break their nose. But he tried to keep his temper in front of the kid.

The child turns out to be a kind young one, though a bit shy and reserved. Alex thanks Yoba that they are more like the Farmer in looks and personality than the other parent.

Despite the awkward pause at first, the kid seems to like Alex. Of course, he's cool, kind, and gives them ice cream! Alex's trips with Farmer became more frequent and his friendship with Farmer's little kid grew stronger.

Some time later, when a confused Alex let the stranger into the house, he was shocked to find Farmer's kid standing behind him. They looked... so sad.

The social worker announced that the ex had decided to relinquish parental rights and the child had been brought here.

The poor kid was quieter than a mouse, but Alex was as friendly as possible and tried to cheer him up.

In the back of his mind, though, he felt a wild rage, because he could hear that the reason the ex had refused to give up their own child was because their new partner didn't want to babysit them.

Alex knows more than anyone what it's like when one parent is such a dirtbag. But right now he doesn't care about losers, he's got Farmer and their kid.

Getting the kid used to the new environment was very difficult, but Alex helped them get to know the local children.

Evelyn accepted the kid as her own great-grandchild, remembering to feed them delicious baked goods. George was a bit stingy with his emotions, but he also accepted them as his own.

Alex will not leave them in trouble and will help them to cope with all the difficulties. Now the Farmer and their child are his family.

Sebastian:

Sebastian feels awkward and doesn't know what to do. Help.

He and the Farmer's child were so similar in personality when they met - silent, shy and withdrawn.

Sebastian realises that Farmer's child is having a hard time with the fact that their parents are divorced. But emo doesn't know how to start a conversation.

So when Farmer left Sebby and their kid alone for half an hour, there was an awkward silence for the first 5 minutes.

The kid was already getting bored. Sebastian decided to give it a try after all.

"Do you like frogs?" Judging by the spark in the kid's eyes, they had already found at least one topic of interest to both of them.

Farmer smiles when they returned to see the two of them chatting about different amphibians.

A few such encounters and Sebastian had become a cool uncle to them.

Sebastian was hurt to hear that Farmer's ex had given up their parental rights, when Farmer's kid had already visited them, with a social worker.

He will leave the kid alone, as they definitely need some time alone and to collect their thoughts.

Yet, Sebby and the Farmer are always there to cheer up the kid.

On a rainy day, he will show the baby the best place to find frogs.

Sebastian is good at supporting both his partner and their baby.

It can be awkward at times, but Sebby loves them all, so it will be okay.

Harvey:

Given Harvey's profession, he's pretty adept at finding common ground with anxious children.

So when Farmer first introduced Harvey to their child from their first marriage, the local Pelican Town doctor already knew how to behave.

He's glad that despite the divorce, Farmer is trying their best to support their kid, as stress can take a big toll on not only their mental health, but their physical health as well.

Even more so, it's not the child's fault that fate has worked out this way and their parents live in completely different places.

Of course, Harvey is not as "cool" as other bachelors, but he manages to interest the child in his model aeroplanes.

Maybe if they like to read, the doctor will give them something interesting to read (something that isn't a medical encyclopedia).

Harvey almost cried when the kid called him uncle and cool adult.

And all was going smoothly until a social worker knocked on the door of the farmhouse.

After explaining that the other parent, Farmer's ex, could no longer financially support the child, they placed the child in their care.

Harvey is worried about them, because all the fear of moving, new surroundings, and separated parents can have a very negative effect on poor kid.

Harvey will try to be there to help them and Farmer.

Maybe insist on therapy for the kid. Still, it could use some professional help.

Fortunately, Harvey knows what to do and he won't let anyone or anything upset Farmer and their kid. Doctor's words!

Elliott:

Elliott still can't believe that Farmer's ex turned out to be such a coward and unworthy person! Cheating on Farmer. when they already had a child together!

Of course, now Farmer is with him, and yes, it's not worth spending all the nerves on the past, but it's just that the writer is outraged to the core.

Also outraged that the ex just abandoned their child like that, saying they "don't have time for them now." Unbelievable!

Poor child... As much as the Farmers tried to comfort their own kud, all of these events took a heavy toll on them. And Elliott decided it was his duty to help the kid and Farmer, the love of his life.

His first attempts, though, end awkwardly, as Elliott doesn't know where to start. And should he start so immediately? Maybe they need some alone time on the contrary?

He decided to pick up a couple of books to help (mostly children's books, and a couple of books about how to communicate with children/teens).

The writer was lucky that the kid loves books!

There was even a moment when the kid felt comfortable around Elliott and asked them to help make their own little book. Elliott is more than happy to help them.

He also won't forget to praise the Farmer, because it was through their efforts and love that their child didn't fall victim to the neglect of the other parent. It's a shame that, coincidentally, the kid didn't arrive sooner.

Elliott will have a bit of a hard time, but he will do a great job in the role of carer for the Farmer and their kid, accepting them as his own child.

In that it doesn’t really change his view of you

Depending on where you are in your relationship he has different moods

Like if he hasn’t opened up and is still depressed and an alcoholic he would be VERY pessimistic about it

Would also probably say VERY offensive things in his melancholy state

Would say sorry only after you say that he’s being rude about it

If it’s after he gets help no matter if you’re dating or not he’s still like…

I don’t know what type of person you are but I know that’s either a relief so you only have to do easy things or it’s annoying because you’re perfectly able to do things on your own.

So he hasn’t really seen them that often

But would remind you to take breaks more often than he would a farmer without one (and even then it’s pretty often)

Would try to be poetic about it

And it’s either very cringy or cute based on hope you think of him

And his characters reflect you even if he won’t admit is until you’re closer enough

I do think he’s ableist but again like the others not in a judgemental kind of way just…..uninformed

Depending on where you are in your relationship makes her reaction different

Like before she opens up I think she’d have a mean girl type of reaction

Like she’d make a face and everything and ask rude questions.

Like it would genuinely either make you mad or make you feel bad

She’d be like “WHAT THE HELL??”

And you’d be like “tf???? Are you okay?”

She’s ask VERY personal questions

Partly because she’s curious and partly because she has to make fun of you by being a bitch

But if you’re closer when she finds out she’s just like…

Taken aback and like oof but that’s the extent to it

I think if you’re closer she’d be too scared to ask any questions because while she gives no fucks she likes you

Whether it be in a romantic or platonic way

And she doesn’t want to push you away or anything

Honestly I don’t think she would think anything different of you, or even think that anything has changed now that she knows

Makes covers, will bedazzle it, literally whatever you want.

I think out of all of the bachelors and bachelorettes she would be the one to make it the least weird.

Like the others would either ask really insensitive questions or act weird about it

She means well but it’s kinda annoying if you don’t want help

Just like how she shoves George’s wheelchair out of the way at the mailbox to help him

It’s like first you should ASK if someone wants help

And second helping isn’t always what you think it is

Would help you without asking if you want it

Acts like she just is so much stronger or whatever

Is VERY embarrassed after you talk to her about it

Might try to argue back that she was just helping

But ultimately realizes that she was kinda overstepping

Would think it’s cool

Asks dumb questions like if it gives you an advantage over anything that others wouldn’t think about

And thankfully she has make herself her own person outside of Pierre’s beliefs bc child her would’ve been mean

But she does think it’s cool and like the others has a million different questions

Also one of the ones that would knock a bitch out for coming at you in a rude way

Oh hell yeah anon you've activated my current hyperfixation 😁 I have a google doc where I'm dropping my headcanons and a bulleted timeline for a Alex/m!farmer longfic I've been writing in my head that's up to about 13 pages now ahaha so here's a few things!!

When he first moved to Pelican Town he was actually really quiet and reserved because he was still grieving heavily, so he never really got close to the other kids. He talks about how he played gridball with his mom so I think once he got the chance to play that in school (in another town no doubt) I think he came out of his shell then and made some friends, but all those friends lived far enough away that after graduating high school he's been pretty lonely and never could connect with the other people his own age in town.

He never goes into the saloon to my knowledge prior to the 10-heart event dinner scene, so I headcanon that it's because he doesn't drink alcohol and doesn't want the temptation to try it. I don't remember if it's said explicitly but I got the impression his dad's abuse stemmed from being drunk so I imagine Alex refuses to touch the stuff out of both principle and fear of becoming like his father one day.

I said it in another post but I headcanon him as gay and suffering comphet. He's built himself up as this cool popular guy, so he tries to emulate the sexist straight guys he's seen in movies but there's absolutely nothing behind it. He says something rude to a girl and then is like uhhh (shit what now) bye! 😅 I want to think that in getting to know the farmer he not only does away with that facade but also gets more comfortable in his sexuality!!

and on a sidenote to the above: I hc most of the town as gay or bi and I am toying with the idea of Abby being transfem! Sam/Seb is a given, and maaaybe they're in a poly relationship with Abby but I'm still undecided!! I like Maru/Penny as a concept but need to marinate on that a bit more, I see them always sitting together and it makes me happy but I need to think more on how they met and what their relationship would be like. I don't have anything solid yet in terms of other characters' gender or sexuality headcanons exactly, other than Caroline and Jodi being bi and desperately yearning to run away together 🥰

But back to Alex!! With how his storyline goes of trying to impress others with his jock persona, then trying to switch gears and be super booksmart, I headcanon that he gets close to the farmer via the farmer tutoring him so he can take a community college placement test. :3 My thought for why he's in the rut he's in is that he wanted to play college gridball but his grades in high school were so bad he has done nothing with himself since graduation and has just been stagnating and becoming more and more bitter (which only amps up his shitty attitude when the player first meets him). So trying to get educated is doubly good for him because he can work toward his sports dream (in a way) and try to impress the farmer. Though of course, the thing that brings them closer is Alex learning to be true to himself 😊

This is getting long, so last thing: he's actually a really well-rounded homemaker but does not even think about it really. George has been disabled for a long time, so all of the handy work around the house has to be handled by Alex, and he's so eager to help out his grands. :3 They put a roof over his head so of course he'll climb up onto it to fix the leaks when it rains! Evelyn is always cooking and baking and Alex is so soft for his granny he has been in the kitchen helping her for as long as he's lived with them, so he's actually got a real talent for cooking and baking too! One of the first things he learned after moving in with them was the proper way to set a table, and the best way to wash dishes efficiently. He's spent enough time at Haley's house having no chemistry with the poor girl, but found Emily's whole sewing setup really fascinating and she taught him to mend the holes in his letterman jacket when he asked so he knows how to hand sew! These are all skills that he has but doesn't recognize as skills, he just inherently has this desire to help the people in his life so he picks up this and that to make it easier!

Anyway! Thank you for letting me ramble 😄 Alex is really sweet and soft underneath the mask he wears, and he's been rotating in my head for the last few months hehe

What Their Family Thinks About You {Some Stardew Valley Marriage Candidate’s}

Obviously not all the candidates are included in this one, and even some I didn’t write since they seemed very similar to another (like Haley’s was like Emily’s for example).

The characters included in this one includes Sebastian, Sam, Alex, Shane, Abigail, Emily, and Penny :))

TW: There’s angst in these headcanons, some headcanons including slightly heavy topics.

Sam:

Sam waited for a bit before properly introducing you as his significant partner. A part of him probably felt a little shy about it for some reason.

But Jodi already had a feeling you were dating. Sam made it pretty obvious since he was pretty bad at sneaking you in and sneaking himself out of the house, plus Sam get’s goo-goo eyes when he looks or talks about you, even before you two started dating. Not to mention the fact that Vincent constantly went to her and talked about how he saw the Farmer with Sam, and usually flustered Sam when he talked about you.

But Jodi was still ecstatic when Sam finally had the guts to tell her. She insisted that he brought you over ASAP for a family dinner.

She’s very kind to you. Well… She always was, right when you came to the valley. But it seems like she somehow became even sweeter the moment Sam showed interest in you. You were making her son happy, so of course that’d make her love you more!

You were always sweet anyway. You did your best to help the entire valley, not just her son.

Vincent also seemed to take a liking to you before you started dating Sam. You always played with him, and gave him little gifts when you could. Though, he did sometimes play the role of the little sibling who always (accidentally or purposely) stole the attention of the Farmer from Sam. And sure, it sometimes bothers Sam, but he doesn’t want to be mean to Vincent. He’s honestly just more happy that Vincent likes you at all.

And then there’s his father, Kent.

Kent is a bit harder to get closer with, considering the things he’s been through. He’s not mean to you by any means, but he’s just a little hesitant to build up more relationships.

He warms up to you, slowly but surely. He’s glad you’ve been there for his wife and kids, and he’s happy that Sam is happy with you. He’ll become more talkative with you as time goes on, and start showing his appreciation with sending you some useful things in the mail and such.

The family all treat you as their own, and Sam is more than pleased! He knew his family would love you, but it still excited him that they do!

Jodi invites you to dinner at least once a week, and there, Vincent always wants to play with you. And even if Kent is usually pretty quiet, he asks you about the farm, and you guys sometimes chit-chat about certain topics when you come over. Then the evening is finished off with a lovely dinner from Jodi.

When you and Sam head off to your shared home, you jump when Sam wraps his arms around you. You’re confused for a moment, but melt when Sam gives you a loving smile.

“Thanks for getting along with my family… I don’t know how I got so lucky .”

Sam is usually pretty excitable and loud. But this time, he’s more quiet. It’s oddly sentimental.

“Aww… You’re getting all red in the face, sunshine! You’re so cute…”

Shane:

Shane probably didn’t feel a need to really hide his relationship, since Marnie, like Jodi, could tell that Shane loved you. As for Jas, she helped push you to give Shane a bouquet, so of course she knew too.

But he partially did want to hide away from Marnie at the beginning of your relationship, since she liked to tease you two a whole lot. She usually did with a whole lot of teasing puns, which made it feel worse for Shane.

But after the whole teasing phase, she’s very warm and kind to you. She often lets you know how appreciative she is that you had helped Shane through such a hard time in his life. She admitted to you she had almost given up, but you had come into the valley, and she believed you to practically be an angel.

Jas also adored your company. Warming up to Shane caused Jas to warm up to you as well, to the point where, like Vincent, she also wanted to play with you all the time, sometimes taking you away from Shane.

Shane didn’t do anything to stop her. It warmed his heart Jas liked you so much. It made him love you even more then he already did. He constantly thanked you for spending time with her, and showing her so much kindness.

I don’t think Marnie would invite you to dinner, but not because she dislikes you. She invites Lewis to dinner all the time, and if you play/watch Stardew Valley, you should know why dinner isn’t an option.

But, Jas does like to come to your house to dinner, if you’re fine with it of course. She also likes to spend time with you and Shane both, so you three constantly do fun things together.

Also, I’ve said this before, but there’s a headcanon I’ve seen in the past of Jas potentially living with Shane after he moves in with you. If she couldn’t live there 100% of the time, she’d at least have a room there.

One of Jas’s favorite moments was learning to bake with you two. Shane didn’t really have experience baking, but you’ve baked before after getting some recipes from ‘The Queen of Sauce’ and from some of the villagers in the valley.

After you had taught Shane and Jas how to bake one of her favorites, a strawberry cake, you three sat around the table, Jas kicking her legs happily as she took a bite of her slice of cake. She glanced up at you and Shane, seeing you giving his a kiss on the cheek as you handed him a soda.

“Thanks pumpkin.”

Jas watched as he fiddled with his mermaids pendent while staring at you, as you got a piece of cake for yourself too. He looked completely whipped for you, and even Jas could tell he was utterly in love. Suddenly, a question popped up in her mind. She paused before she looked up at Shane.

“Uncle Shane?”

“Yeah?”

“Are you and Y/n going to give me a cousin soon?”

Shane then proceeded to almost choke on his drink as you stood there is a flustered haze.

Abigail:

Abigail actually told her mother, Caroline, immediately when you guys got together. She just couldn’t keep it a secret when she was this excited! However, she wasn’t excited when it came to her dad… She did not want to tell Pierre.

I feel most of us have the general agreement that Pierre is one of the worst people in the valley. He just isn’t that nice of a person, and I feel like Abigail is smart enough to see that. She loves her dad, but he’s painfully traditional and greedy. He tends to make her angry because of how annoyingly ignorant he can be sometimes.

She knew she’d have to tell him one day, but not now. So, she asked her mom to keep quiet, at least for awhile. And Caroline thankfully does like you, and she was aware of her husband’s nature and how it could come off. So, she agreed, but wanted Abigail to tell him eventually.

It was probably a bit awkward for you to be shopping at Pierre’s while he remained unknowing of your relationship with his daughter, but it was honestly a blissful two months of silence from Pierre.

And then one day, Caroline had finally had enough, and told Pierre. She meant no ill will, but she thought it’d only be a week or two of not saying anything, not two months.

And Pierre was not happy. Abigail got in trouble with her father, and he even almost picked a fight with you. So now, Abigail wasn’t happy with her mother or her father.

But this didn’t hurt your relationship, Abigail loved you dearly, she always has!

But after this, Pierre only got worse in Abigail’s eyes. His initial anger wore off, sure, but then his greedy side came in.

He started trying to convince you to “share a family business.” And at first, you did give him some of your crops, since you did want him to like you, but then he sold the crops that were yours and claimed them as his own, and called the bad crops he grew yours. It was salt in the wound when he paid you less then what your crops were worth.

When Abigail caught wind of this, she was furious.

“Dad, you can’t just take Y/n’s money like that! Who do you think you are!?”

You felt bad it strained their relationship a bit, but Abigail assured you it wasn’t your fault.

Even if Pierre wasn’t the best, Caroline did try her best. She and Abigail were on bad terms for a moment after Caroline told Pierre, but Abigail forgave her shortly after, since she could understand where her mom was coming from. Plus, Caroline did make Pierre pay the actual worth of your crops, and even secretly told some of the villagers that they were indeed your crops (but sadly framed it as a mix up instead of the actual story).

You also noticed something odd… The Wizard was being nicer to you! But thats probably just a coincidence… Right?

After you two got married, Pierre tried harder to start a business with you, but you rejected it over and over. Abigail eventually told him to stop bothering you, causing further strain.

You confessed to Abigail you still felt bad over the whole incident, and she oddly she just giggled at this.

“Y/n, you’re too sweet. I keep telling you it’s not your fault! I love you, so of course I’m going to defend you. I always will.”

Emily:

Emily was pretty excited getting into the relationship, and it didn’t take long for her to want you to spend more time with her sister.

Haley, of course, knew you were in a relationship with Emily. Emily never stopped talking about you even before the relationship, and when she came home with the bouquet, cheering and practically running around the house, Haley put the pieces together pretty quickly.

And sure, Haley met you, and you two knew each other, but she wasn’t sure if she approved of you quite yet. She knew you were nice, since practically everyone in town wouldn’t shut up about you, but she really loves her sister, and wants to make sure the person her sister loves isn’t a bad person, y’know?

So, Emily invited you to dinner after her sister insisted. Honestly, you were slightly intimidated. Haley is a bit ruthless at times, sometimes described as mean, so you wanted to make a good impression.

So, you had brought gifts for the two of them, and Haley was surprised that you had gotten not only Emily a gift she loved, but you also got a gift for Haley, and it was also a gift she loved.

Then, throughout the evening, you had continued to make a good impression. You treated Emily so well and showed an interest in what Haley liked. You never said anything remotely mean to either of them, or even anything shady about any of the villagers.

Soon, Emily excused herself to the bathroom, leaving you and Haley alone. You were about to start a conversation about a topic she’d enjoy, but she interrupted you.

“Alright… Listen… I can already tell you’ll be a good fit for my sister. You seem really nice, and you treat my sister well. It also gives you points you aren’t like that creep Clint… But just promise me that you’ll treat her well for a long time, okay? I swear to god if you ever make her cry I’ll kick your ass.”

Of course you promised Haley, but then you two heard a loud “aww” from the doorway.

Haley was beyond embarrassed her sister heard all of that, but Emily was swooning, thinking it was the sweetest thing in the world.

“Were you standing there the entire time?!”

“I couldn’t help myself! It was just so sweet to hear!”

Penny:

You were well aware that Pam wasn’t the best at times, so it was understandable Penny was included on the group of people who would prefer your relationship remain on the down low for awhile.

But Penny is the sweetest person in the valley (besides Evelyn of course), so she didn’t want to hide it for a long time. After all, she loved her mom despite her faults. It was just kind of hard to start a conversation about relationships with her.

You offered to be there when Penny told her, but Penny insisted she wanted to tell her alone. It wasn’t that she didn’t want you there, but she felt as if Pam might take it wrongly at first since Penny kept it quiet for a little while.

And she was right. Pam took it as if she was embarrassed of her or something, which wasn’t the case at all. Pam needed time to cool off, and when she came back to Penny, she was still irritated. She gave Penny the silent treatment for a couple days, which really hurt her feelings. Luckily, you were there at her side, so it made it a little easier.

“Thank you, honey… I don’t know what I’d do if you weren’t by my side.”

Pam was conflicted. She wanted Penny to be happy, but felt like this was the start of losing Penny, since her daughter was really the only thing she really has. The fact Penny didn’t say anything didn’t help, and seemed to make Pam think that this was her reality now. Not to mention she didn’t really have a good experience with love, Penny’s father leaving the two of them.

Pam had thought about it a lot at the saloon. She realized after a few days that Penny couldn’t have meant anything bad by it, since it really wasn’t in Penny’s nature, she knew that. And you weren’t like her ex-husband. Even if you two didn’t really talk much, you had the kindness to literally buy her and Penny a house. But she still felt like she would lose Penny either way.

Pam accepts your relationship, but isn’t really excited about it like some of the family members on this list.

When Penny inevitably moves out, it continues to eat at her.

But Penny makes the effort to visit her mother, and invite her to holidays. Pam doesn’t always go to the farm for the holidays, but sometimes she comes and visits.

After awhile, she realizes you are good for Penny, way better then she was. It still doesn’t make her excited, and it even eats up at her more.

Penny is a bit disheartened her mother doesn’t seem happy for her, but she knows she can’t always help her, no matter how hard she tries. She does try to constantly remind her mother she’s always there for her, but Pam is stubborn.

Regardless, Penny is still happy with you and Pam, even if it isn’t the happiest ending.

Sebastian:

Sebastian didn’t want to tell his family for so many reasons.

The biggest reason was that, in his eyes, they wouldn’t really care anyway.

Maybe his mom would, but Demetrius definitely wouldn’t, and Maru is pretty indifferent to things involving him. She won’t jump for joy if something good happens in his life, but she wouldn’t laugh or make his life worse if something bad happened. He’s also in no contact with his biological father, so it’s not like he can tell him, even if he wanted to.

A part of his did want to express his joy with his family, or for them to be happy for him, but he wasn’t even included in the little things, so he doubted they’d care if he started dating someone, even if it was a relationship as serious as yours.

He is glad he can express his happiness with Sam and Abigail though, and they don’t mind listening, no matter if he babbled about you or not.

He eventually does tell his mom after she admits someone had told her about you and Sebastian. She cares a lot more then Demetrius and Maru, and feels guilty the reason why he didn’t tell them in the first place, not to mention that she didn’t even notice for a long time.

Robin happened to tell Demetrius and Maru. As Sebastian predicted, Demetrius didn’t care, and often forgot about it entirely. Maru frustrated Sebastian quite a bit when she expressed her surprise that someone like Y/n would date someone like him. She didn’t really mean it in a bad way, but it defiantly came out in such a way.

Robin seemed like the only one who made an effort to connect with you. She tried to push Demetrius and Maru and get involved, but they expressed no interest, Maru usually being busy and Demetrius being a shitty step-dad.

One day, out of no where, Sebastian had said something that truly made your heart ache;

“… I’m sorry my family is a bit distant from me. I know it can hurt your feelings, but it isn’t your fault at all. It’s mine…”

It was truly painful to hear Sebastian blame himself for that kind of this when it really wasn’t his fault either. You were quick to assure him that you loved him, not his family. You assured him it wasn’t his fault either.

He sighed, melting into your hands.

“Thank you… I just… I love you, and I want to make sure you’re happy.”

Of course you’re happy. Who wouldn’t be happy with someone as sweet as him? <33

Alex:

Alex doesn’t really have parents to introduce you to like in the movies. It bothers him a bit, since a part of him did want those cheesy moments where you introduce your significant other to your parents, who swoon over your partner and express how much they support and love the relationship.

But he didn’t have that. It was pretty hard to think about, so he tried to concern himself with more bright topics, like his grandmother, Evelyn.

Evelyn already accepted you with open arms since you came to the valley, and that didn’t change when Alex introduced you as his significant other.

She was even more delighted that you and Alex were together. You were so sweet, and you would be such a delightful addition to the family.

Alex was a bit disappointed that George is a bit more pessimistic and bitter, so he wasn’t necessarily welcoming, but Alex knew he should have expected that since his grandpa was a grump.

He was still grateful for them, don’t get me wrong. Even if George is grumpy, you were still welcomed into the family by Evelyn. She constantly made you feel like you did belong there, and made you both aware that she supported and love your relationship.

“Oh… You are such a sweetheart… I know that if you had the chance to meet Clara, she would adore you so much.”

Evelyn saying that to you made Alex choke up. He did end up crying with you in private, but not because Evelyn hurt his feelings, of course not. Just the thought of Clara meeting you was so emotional to think about.

… However… Alex always had the fear his past would come back to haunt him. He always feared his dad may try to interfere with his life at some point. He knew his dad had no idea where he could be if he did try to find him, but the fear was always there.

He confessed this to you in private, and you were quick to be by his side, promising him that his dad would never find him, and if he tried, you would be by his side. The idea of you doing something like that for him made his love for you grow even more so.

“… I love you. I really appreciate you always being here for me like this.”

Stardew Valley Bachelor/ettes and their sexuality headcanons

Yeah yeah I know, they are all canonically bisexual or something like that, but I have some headcanons to go further into it as to just say “he/she is bi”. It’s my silly little blog and I get to choose the content ok lol anyway:

Bachelors:

Sam: raging bisexual and proud. Doesn’t care what others think of it, maybe his mum and dad though, speaking of that with them feels still kinda weird as he doesn’t feel comfortable talking about such things with them. But overall he never gave his sexuality a second thought and goes with whoever he has caught feelings for.

Sebastian: bisexual but is more into women. Feels uncomfortable speaking about it. He didn’t know he liked men until he met the farmer (if they are male). He felt ashamed of his feelings for the same sex, but the farmer helped him come out of his shell. Robin and Maru don’t care and support him no matter what, Demetrius however…but it doesn’t matter who it is he likes, this guy will always pick a fight with Sebby so yeah.

Harvey: again, bisexual but prefers women. Has kissed a man before in his college days doing some dumb drinking game (he liked it more than he likes to admit) but never done more. He’s knows that homosexuality is natural in all sorts of species and therefore doesn’t think it’s weird. However, he feels a bit awkward having to confront himself about his own bisexuality, but he generally feels shy about his personal matters, especially when it might get people talking. When he catches feelings for the male farmer, he fears that the farmer will think poorly of his attraction and therefore has a harder time accepting his feelings for them than for the female farmer.

Shane: I said it before, I’ll say it again: man fucked in his gridball days, mostly women, again, but he also had a thing with a guy. He doesn’t like to speak about his bisexuality and pretends he’s straight because it’s less of a hassle to say if he’s asked. He doesn’t want the surprised looks of people because he doesn’t seem like a guy who’d also date men. Despite that, he likes women a tad more (boob guy, also likes eating 🐱), but he can’t deny his attraction towards male athletic builds. He won’t ever admit it though, of course.

Elliott: bisexual and proud. Has no preference whatsoever. He mostly writes about heterosexual relationships and loves the female anatomy as it’s different to his, therefore more intriguing to him in an artistic aspect, but he won’t pick favourites. All bodies have their perks and he’s open to give love to every body that’s attached to a person he loves. His first relationship was with a man, but he always knew that his attraction is not limited to one. He’s a romantic artist, and therefore finds beauty in all different shapes and sizes.

Alex: bisexual but says he’s straight because he is convinced he is. The hours he spent looking at shredded man abs in his youth definitely weren’t first indicators, he just wanted to look like this, not look AT this. He also definitely didn’t have some codependent homoerotic friendship with a fellow sportsman in high school, no no couldn’t be him. He prefers women, or it’s his denial, who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ needless to say, he assumes he’s straight till he meets the (male) farmer and is immediately struck by love. It puts him in a spiral, but eventually he accepts his feelings and is happy he is finally true to himself.

Haley: bisexual but prefers men. She has had a thing for the shy girl in high school, but decided to bully her instead as it seemed easier for her than come clean to herself about her feelings for another woman, a woman that doesn’t play in her league popularity-wise specifically. The relationships she had with men were mostly superficial and loveless, but she took it as a necessary evil. That stops when she meets the farmer. If the farmer is female, she will finally open up about being bisexual, happy she isn’t in denial anymore and true to herself after years of self hatred regarding that part of herself. If the farmer is male, she will be more than happy to know that she isn’t broken and that her past lovers were just sacks of shit that didn’t care about her lol.

Emily: bisexual, thought she’s a lesbian. She has a thing for her friend Sandy, let’s be real here. Also dated Shane in college for at least a couple of weeks until they realised they don’t have a thing for each other and are better off being friends. Because of that, she thought she’s homosexual as she never had any romantic feelings for a man. That changes when she meets the farmer though. If male, she will discover her bisexuality and be excited to explore new sides of herself. If female, she will stay thinking she’s a lesbian and be happy with her cute wife.

Leah: bisexual and knows it. Leah is gay or straight depending on what gender the player is, but I think she’s just open to whatever, but would like to say she’s a lesbian tbh, but we know she’s not :( she’s an artsy person like Elliott, so it didn’t take her long to realise she likes people of the male and female sex. Definitely spent a lot of her teenhood drawing naked women in her sketchbook like all of us lmfao. Oh yeah, she prefers women in my books, your honour. At least feminine-presenting people.

Penny: bisexual, masks as straight but prefers women in secret. She thinks having homosexual thoughts is forbidden for a good girl like her to have, but she can’t stop pining for the female farmer once they enter her life. She keeps dropping hints about wishing to live on a farm like theirs, dreams about kissing their lips and whatnot but feeling guilty about it. With the male farmer, it’s different. She doesn’t feel as much shame, but it takes her longer to develop feelings for them.

Maru: bisexual but honestly? Probably demisexual, if not some other sort of asexual. She has no time for romance and doesn’t really think about it much. When she catches feelings for the farmer, it surprises her that she’s even capable of feeling those things for any person really. Her having homo-or heterosexual feelings for someone isn’t a concern to her at all, just the fact she lets herself get distracted with things like that is. Eventually she learns to go easy on herself and accept that she’s human with desires like everyone else.

Abigail: bisexual, has no preference but can’t deny she likes the idea of being visibly queer by having a partner of the same sex or someone androgynous-looking. Doesn’t have a lot of dating experience really, also not big on having crushes. She has a thing for Sebastian though, but its not that deep. The farmer changes everything. She will see them as a cool friend around her age at first, but will grow attached to them over the course of their friendship, especially with their shared love of adventure and falling out of place in this small town.

Oh boy, oh boy, do I?! So, I'm actually gonna just spitball some general headcanons as well because I love these guys and need to write for them!

The Dark Fortress: Headcanons

Dirk

- He's a really crass kind of person. You've never heard so many different ways to curse before meeting him and most of the time, you have no idea what half of what he says even means. He's also loud, obnoxious, and endlessly flirtatious towards anyone remotely attractive in his eyes. No one is safe, even those in commited relationships, but his advances aren't ever serious. Well, except for when they are.

- He struggles to feel much of anything most days. Which is why he acts the way he does most of the time. He needs stimulation. He needs to stay busy. He needs to interact with people or he'll go crazy. Depending what phase his soul is at the moment also impacts how he responds to people. He doesn't really like talking about his soul though.

- Despite what you might think, and what he insists, he's not from high society. He had very simple beginnings, think a farmer or something to do with physical labour, but he never talks about his childhood. If it ever comes up, he gets deathly quiet and withdrawn. You get the sense that whatever actually happened to him was pretty bad if the guy who never shuts up suddenly refuses to talk.

- He doesn't really talk about anything before he joined up with the band of brigands actually. He likes to boast about all the heists he took part in and how much he made from them. He doesn't talk about what happened to cause him to snap completely and kill the people he used to call brothers, but considering how much he values loyalty, you suspect it's somehow related.

- He's a huge flirt but somewhat surprisingly, he won't pressure you into anything that you aren't comfortable with. If you clearly tell him to stop, he will, no questions asked. He mostly flirts for his own amusement since he finds other people's reactions incredibly funny. He does get up to his own escapades whenever the opportunity presents itself, which isn't as often anymore now that he works for Donovan.

- As for how he'd react towards something more long term? You'd think a guy with a penchant for messing around and flirting with anything that breaths might be a poor choice in a partner. His unyielding loyalty means that he'll be there for you through anything and everything, providing you do the same for him. He's your ride or die, but woe to anyone foolish enough to betray his loyalty.

- With Dirk as a partner, you will never be bored as he won't allow it. He struggles with any type of emotion that isn't passion or violence, but once you become close with him, you'll begin to see an entirely different person.

- Dirk is oddly sweet when he's alone with you. He loves snuggling, usually he'll insist on being the big spoon, and will often find excuses to stay in bed with you. He's a physical touch kind of person already, generally giving it, but he would love it if you did the same for him.

- He's really good at giving compliments and if you're feeling down, he's quick to try and cheer you up. You're his rock and if you're sad, he's gonna be sad and neither of you want to see that.

- He's still a really dangerous person though, even with all his obnoxiousness and flirting. No matter how long you're in a relationship, he's still scared of accidentally hurting you. Oddly enough, being around you does calm him down if he's worked up, so unless he's in an actually dangerous state of mind, you might get shoved into the same room as him if any of the others need him to calm down quickly.

- While he enjoys killing people for the chance to get more EXP, Dirk has a couple of more "normal" hobbies. He likes to "collect" weapons and cool looking armour, even if he won't actually use most of them. He just likes having dangerous and shiny things. He also likes animals, especially cats, but most animals don't do well around the corruption from the dark fortress. If you somehow find him a pet that can survive, you'll be his best friend for a while.

- He knows how to properly use most types of weapons, even some obscure ones, but he prefers a dagger since it's easier to sneak into places he's not supposed to have weapons. He's totally the type to have multiple knives hidden on his person at all times, sometimes even while sleeping.

Maul

- If Dirk is the loudest and most energetic, Maul is the quietest and generally the calmest. He speaks pretty much only when spoken to and when the question can't be answered with a simple yes or no. Even then, he keeps his answers brief and moves on to whatever he was already doing before being interrupted. This changes when he realizes that he likes you though.

- Maul generally keeps to himself when Donovan doesn't have need of him. He's basically a brick wall most of the time anyways, but he does show some emotions at times. This is mostly the occasional grin, raising a bonebrow, or frowning if he's annoyed. It's rare for him to emote since he doesn't want people to know what he's thinking, but occasionally he'll catch himself reacting to something genuinely funny or express some of his frustrations.

- Maul mostly spends his free time doing chores like sharpening his greataxe, maintaining his gear and armour, or working on his hobbies. He enjoys cooking, especially baking, and often is the one in charge of meals. Except for maybe Donovan, who is at least competent in the kitchen, he's the only one who can cook well. Maul also likes taking care of animals or gardening, although it's harder to do either of those now that he's staying in the dark fortress.

- He doesn't talk about himself, at all. If you can somehow start a conversation with him, he'll talk about literally anything else but his past or the things he's done. Just be patient, as his idea of a conversation is letting you do the bulk of the talking while he listens, usually while doing something else, and occasionally answering with grunts or one word answers.

- The thing is, while Dirk is immediately up front if he likes you, Maul isn't really, at least not to any outside observers. He's just doing normal things that anyone would do for others, right? He'll randomly make foods you like, bring you something to drink or eat if you've been busy for a while, and come see you just to "hang out". To the others, it's very, very obvious that he likes you as he pretty much ignores them most of the time, but you might have a more difficult time figuring it out.

- He even starts to engage with you about topics he's knowledgeable on. He knows exactly how to sharpen any weapon or tool and while he may not have as much martial knowledge as Reven, he could probably still teach you a thing or two about throwing your weight around in battle. He doesn't do sneaky or small weapons though so if you want tips, you're fresh out of luck with him.

- He'd love it if you joined in on whatever he's working on. Making food for others is one of his ways of showing he cares, so to do it with a partner is a great way to bond with him. You'll get bonus points if you have experience cooking/baking already, especially if you've memorized recipes or have made up some of your own.

- Maybe when you get really close, he might let you in on his backstory, although it'll take a while to put together all the pieces since he isn't gonna sit you down and explain everything at once. Instead you'll get little comments here and there randomly like how he learned to get meat to stretch as far as possible or how much he despises tyrants. He definitely didn't come from wealth but it's hard to tell if he had a simple upbringing like Dirk or if he was enlisted into military service at a young age. He doesn't care how anyone perceives him anymore but he struggles with believing that anyone could find him anything but scary.

- His head injury has impacted his memory and changed a lot about how he processes emotions and approaches situations. He sometimes takes a bit to respond to questions but at least combat still comes as naturally to him as breathing does. He's much more patient as a result and takes his time doing tasks so they're done correctly the first time.

- He's a very doting lover. All he wants is to have a calm, relaxed life without having to fight for survival each day. If he had his way, you wouldn't have to lift a finger for anything. Things like breakfast in bed and cuddles in the evening by a fireplace are a regular occurrence. He also loves physical touch, both giving and especially receiving, but his larger size makes it a bit difficult for him to be the small spoon while cuddling.

- He's also majorly protective, almost like a guard dog. If he thinks someone's bothering you, he'll come up to you, wrap his arms around you, and frown at them. To you, he doesn't look that scary, but to anyone else outside the dark fortress, he's downright terrifying. He's not above growling at people if they don't get the message but unless you're in an actually dangerous situation, he's more likely to pick you up and leave than actually start a fight. Not that it would be much of a fight for him, but he doesn't enjoy needlessly killing people, especially in front of you.

- He experiences nightmares and zoning out fairly often. He's been through a lot before joining Donovan, including a coup that overthrew the monarchy which resulted in a famine and caused many citizens to suffer. He stood by as people starved and did nothing but follow orders like a good soldier should. It took his own brother attempting to stand up to the tyrannical general for him to act. In the resulting conflict, he was mortally injured although he survived. The head injury left him with a memory gap so that he isn't certain who walked away from the fight or who was dusted. He doesn't even know if his brother made it out or not.

Reven

- Reven is somewhere in the middle, although he tends to be a bit more quiet rather than chatty like Dirk. He generally likes to sit back and observe the situation before injecting himself. He's a schemer by nature and thanks to his incredible observation skills, he often notices details that others won't. If he's approaching you to talk before you have a chance to approach him, it's likely because he thinks he can get something from you.

- He's prone to random outbursts of laughter, especially if the room has been quiet for a while. If asked what's so funny, he usually attempts to brush the question off by claiming that you wouldn't get it. He's aware that it probably makes him look insane but it's the truth.

- He won't readily admit it but he hears the voice of his dead brother constantly as he's haunted by him. It's unclear if it's actually his brother's soul or just a figment of his insanity, but Reven fully believes that he literally has his brother haunting him. While his brother normally has murderous tendencies, if that behaviour isn't directed towards you, then Reven is gonna pay extra close attention.

- You catch him staring a lot, like a lot, a lot. His face is almost always hidden by his hood but you can usually still see his eyelights and feel the intensity of his gaze. Even when you catch a glimpse of his face, it's like he's wearing a mask. His expression rarely changes but when it does, he tends to grin with unknown glee or glare at whatever has irritated him in the moment.

- It often takes a lot to make Reven actually angry, but when something tips him over the edge, you better hope there's nothing particularly valuable or fragile nearby. He wouldn't dream of actually hurting you but there isn't any guarantee that you won't get caught in the crossfire. Most of the time, Dirk is the target of his anger but he likes to purposely rile Reven up when he's bored, which is fairly often.

- It's true that Reven used to be a paladin before snapping. He and his brother were raised in a dusty backwater kingdom that has since collapsed but when they were young, they decided to join a holy order to defend those who couldn't defend themselves. They were brave and noble paladins until disaster struck of course.

- Reven doesn't talk about what actually caused him to snap. It's possible that he was responsible for his brother's death and doesn't know it, or he is very much aware and just refuses to even think about it. Either way, he abandoned the order after this and eventually his insanity led him to become the serial killer responsible for the Crimson Stabbings. His obsessive nature led him to never actually be caught, although he was spotted often enough to become known for his red cuirass.

- He occasionally gets the itch for more EXP and will look for opportunities to kill again, for this reason he isn't usually left alone on stealth missions. He's good at what he does though and with the proper motivation, will complete any mission perfectly without anyone even knowing he was there.

- His obsessive nature can lead to concerning situations, especially if you haven't figured out that he likes you yet. You'll start receiving gifts from an unknown admirer that are very obviously tailored to your preferences. Sometimes you even get the feeling of being watched but there's never anyone there. Hopefully, you already know him before he makes a confession of love and hopefully you accept his affections. Otherwise, well, he doesn't do well with rejection and there's no telling what he'll do.

- He's really sweet when you're in a relationship though. He enjoys spoiling you with little gifts and lives for your gratitude since it makes him feel oddly fuzzy inside. He's also super cuddly and will find any excuse just to sit with his skull on your shoulder and arms around your waist. He also likes PDA and will shamelessly hold your hand in front of others. He may not actually kiss you in public but if he does, it's probably because he thinks it'll upset someone or make you embarrassed, which he thinks is really adorable.

- It goes without saying that his mental state is unstable but just be patient with him. If he's having a bad day, give him some space to calm down but if you approach him later on, he'd love it if you comforted him. You'll probably get confined to the couch with him holding onto you. He's not that heavy as he's a skeleton but it's a bit difficult to move around with a whole person hanging off of you. Best to wait it out.

Donovan

- Donovan is an interesting case. He claims that he can't feel emotions beyond negative ones, which is technically true. Once he finds his soulmate though, he starts to question everything that he knows about himself. While he isn't the person he used to be anymore, maybe there's a semblance of his old self still there?

- No matter how much you look or how many people you ask, there is no information on him. It's as if he just popped into existence or something. He's not exactly one to talk about the past either, which seems to be a running theme by now, but maybe someday he'll tell you what happened to him. He wasn't always covered in corruption or had tentacles protruding from his back after all.

- He's really not a nice person and while he's generally very patient and reserved, even his patience has limits. He tries not to get upset at you but there are times when he inevitably snaps and says something he shouldn't. He usually regrets it immediately afterwards but sometimes he won't notice how upset you are for a few hours.

- Most of the time, he acts cold towards you and the boys but he does care in his own way. He makes sure you have anything you could need to survive and be happy as he struggles with anything more. He's fiercely protective of those he calls his own, which may come as a bit of a surprise at times, but he really does consider you and the boys as his "family".

- He has no patience for foolishness or people trying to deceive him. This is why he might lash out at people and harshly punish those who wrong him. Of course, he's also rather selfish and isn't above just taking what he wants. He very much sees himself as a god and everyone else as being below him.

- He has genuinely sweet moments, although these are strictly reserved for his soulmate. Something about the closeness with an uncorrupted soul seems to almost "heal" his own very damaged one. Maybe there's hope for him after all?

- He's actually a little shy about PDA, although he doesn't mind holding onto you if he can excuse it away with being protective but behind closed doors it's an entirely different story. He loves touching you. He loves how warm your body is, how soft you are, and especially the little noises you make when he touches a ticklish or sensitive spot. He's super mindful of his claws and his own physical strength as he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he seriously hurt you.

- He will gladly snuggle with you and will often drag you into bed if you're taking too long for his liking. He wouldn't force you to do anything you aren't comfortable with but you may have to get firm with him if he's distracted and not listening. His tentacles are basically an extension of his own body and mean he has an even easier time hanging onto you. If anything, he prefers to touch you with them since they are soft and squishy, as well as cool to the touch.

- He was very lonely before the boys and you especially came along. He collected them because their souls ooze negativity and he enjoys having an easy source of it nearby. He also wanted to have henchmen to facilitate his own plans and spreading more negativity. Over time though, he's come to kind of see them as his own and not just pawns. It's an unconventional arrangement at best though and they butt heads a ton, but he's provided a place for the destitute, the lost, and the vagabonds to stay.

- When you've earned his trust and been together for a while, you'll learn about who he used to be and where he's from. This could be through an ancient book that he keeps locked away for safekeeping or through bits and pieces of what he tells you. However, you learn a few things such as how he was once a prince of a lost kingdom, had a twin brother, and barely survived an assassination attempt.

- There was a massive tree at the center of his kingdom which bore two kinds of magic fruit. It was rumoured that if you ate one, you would gain knowledge beyond all measure and the power to defeat all foes. The fruit also had the power to influence your emotions but this wasn't of much interest for those who lusted after them. Donovan ate all of the negative fruit in an attempt to survive a mortal injury and protect the tree. However, he was overwhelmed by the power and failed.

- He aimlessly wandered the world for many years before he grew into his powers and decided to make a move to create his own kingdom. This is why he created the dark fortress and collected the boys. At the moment, his goal is to spread the corruption and his influence, but contrary to what some may think, he isn't all powerful. There are many powerful people out there who may take issue with him if they heard about everything he's done.

Alex Falling in Love with the Farmer Headcanons

Hi anon! Sorry if this took too long. I was also waiting for someone to ask for him lol. He's a great bachelor! :D

As I'm fairly certain it's stated in his ten heart cutscene, Alex liked you from the start. He was somewhat aware of it; he did notice he took a physical liking to you, but always assumed it would leave with time. You two just hung out as friends for a while.

It only hit him smack in the face that day he told you about his mother. All of a sudden, it's 'wait, why am I even telling them this?', followed by, 'oh-'. He's sort of just... awkward about it all. Like 'yup. Alright. This is happening.'

After you leave, he goes straight to his grandparents. I mean, they've been together so long, they must know something to help him! He tries to be vague about it, but it comes through anyway. He thinks he's mastered the art of disguise while not-so-subtly dropping in hints like farming every two sentences.

He's quieter, but somehow also manages to show off even more. If that makes any sense. He likes to hear you talk. With his whole backstory thing going on I imagine he's got a lot on his mind, so it's nice to just take a break. Plus, you've always got great stories to tell.

As for the showing off, well... it can be insufferable. He manages to get a bit too in your face at times, but he only means the best. You bet he'll be waiting outside your door at six in the morning ready to do whatever heavy lifting you need. You may or may not use this to your advantage to make him clean up the animal poop.

His feelings for you are fairly obvious. Long stares from across the field, arms over the shoulder - all that stuff. He also gives you lots of compliments. He knows what it's like to be called worthless (and I assume have low self-esteem from it) and he doesn't want you to end up that way. He can tell whenever you're down and goes to lift you back up as best he can.

"Hey farmer! Your farm's looking great. I heard you were feeling down lately, wanna talk about it?"

You get a TON of Evelyn's baked goods. Mostly biscuits, of course, but sometimes you get shortbread or muffins or even a slice of cake! Alex tries his hand at cooking too. He wants to get better to impress you (and his grandmother).

George is super proud. Finally, his (to be honest: quite lonely) grandson is getting a proper friendship (not to throw shade on Haley, but before the farmer moves in, she's not really friendship material)! Evelyn is a bit more clueless to the whole romance thing going on between you two, but once George fills her in on it, she gets to work inviting you over almost every night for dinner.

Speaking of the grandparents trying to get you two closer, Evelyn has randomly mentioned Alex being single. She means no harm, but it's very obvious she's trying to nudge you two together. It's cute, though. And you get a ton of free food whenever she does.

"Oh, hello dear. I just finished making these with Alex," (she did not, in fact, make them with Alex), "we were just talking about any future relationships he might get into."

Alex actually gets a lot more insecure. He's just nervous about messing up in front of you. He doesn't want to risk losing another person he loves. Just seeing you makes his heart all fuzzy - it's crazy.

if anything, he's a little concerned if he's ever overstepprd by accident. he's definitely relieved if you tell him he hasn't

he's very good at recognizing when people are sick–he lives with pablo after all, and pablo is the king of denial when he's sick–so he probably notices you're coming down with something before you do.

he's straight to mother hen mode. bedrest and blankets, checking your temperature, making you homemade soup–the whole nine yards. he'll get pablo to run the shop for a little while so that he can come down and hang out with you. he'll show up with an armful of his favorite old horror movies to show you, plus a few books the two of you can read. being as introverted as he is he's perfectly content to come up with stuff that the two of you can do without putting any strain on you.

he gives me the vibes of someone who is very good when it comes to sick food. he's always got something warm waiting for you when you get hungry! soup or cookies or whatever. and if you're like stomach sick then he's more than happy to buy you all the crackers and ginger ale you could eat

he's also perfectly happy to let you sleep, whether that means going out to run errands for you or just getting housework done for you

he'll probably cave and let you cuddle with him, even if he really doesn't want to get sick lol. if he does catch it, he's a good sport about it though

he's bummed for you because he knows how much /he/ hates being sick–it takes him away from everything that he enjoys and makes him miserable every time. he's also bummed that he has no company for his time outside every day

so while he does feel sorry for you, he does /not/ want to risk catching whatever you've got. and you don't want to give it to him, considering how miserable he gets whenever he has so much as a cold. suffice to say no sick cuddles with him lol

he'll definitely come by the farm every day and handle your chores. this guy grew up on a ranch; how different can farming be? your animals are definitely getting spoiled by him for as long as you're sick, and even a little after, though that's nothing new. he also handles all of the planting, the harvesting, the watering, the shipping–whatever you need done! you crack your window and chat with him while he works. he definitely won't let you come out to help, but he's happy to talk and keep you company even if it's from outside

i'm happily explain about these games if you don't know these games, in harvest moon game. Every game's setting is at countryside, in a small town with colorful characters you can interact and socialize with. You can build relationships with characters/villagers, by talking to them and giving gifts they like/love. There are some items or food that the villagers neutral, like, love, dislike and hated. The most important in the game is farming, you build your crops, take care of animals like cows, chicken, sheeps ( you get eggs from chicken, get milk from the cow, about sheeps. I guess you get the wool from it? sorry to been awhile I played any farming games)

you can sell your crops, things you home-made created. And this is my favorite system, the dating/marriage mechanics. I spend my time in-game; wooing the bachelor I wanna date/marry by talking to them or giving their favorite foods/gifts, in order to date/them. You must trigger the flower events (that's only happen in harvest moon)

you can marry them and build a family with them, I think that your spouse and mc living together in mc's house (I actually played one game from both franchise) oh btw, rune factory is kinda like harvest moon but rune factory is mixed of fantasy and farming . rune factory is like sister franchise of it, so it's fantasy like and had rpg aspects/mechanics. in rune factory, you woke up with no memories, accepted by small mediaval community and I think rune factory had plot while harvest moon doesn't have plot

NOTES: I spent lots of time reading some instructions for the game in English and also Vietnamese because I wanted to have more ideas to write this AU. I added some things which were not concluded in the game too (hope you would love it). And yeah, writing about Akutagawa doing farm work reminds me of him in Beast Universe where he did farm with Kenji.

1. Atsushi Nakajima

So well, when you decided to stay here just to renovate the farm which was inherited from your grandfather.

And one of the villagers you first met in this village was a white-haired boy named Atsushi. He was the first one you interacted with when you came to stay in this village.

This boy was shy whenever he met you, Atsushi would pretend that sometimes he accidentally came into your place just to buy some crops or home-made things that you made. 

When Atsushi came to visit you, sometimes you might get him some things that you had at your home. Maybe there were some that Atsushi did not like but he still received them because they were from yours of course. He was happy when you gave him gifts, you could see his eyes drawn up into a crescent moon shape. Atsushi would thank you a lot when you give him gifts.

“T-They are all for me? A-Are you sure? I think those are too much for me, but if you give me this, I will keep them carefully.”

Atsushi and you dated when you two knew each other really well. I may imagine that he would date you under the starry sky while you guys were laying on the straw of your farm. You might hear him telling some of his ordinary stories about other people in the village or the one who always came to your house.

“You know what, whenever I finish my farm work, I would like to enjoy a big pie or maybe a big glass of water.”

Or

“Do you know about the lady who always comes to buy your home-made fabric? She is a kind woman, though. She always brings me some pie she bakes herself, next time if I have a chance to meet her again. I will tell her to bake some for you too.”

And when you two got married and that was the best time between you and Atsushi. Finally, you two shared the same home, the same room, and the same for everything. 

Atsushi would help work on your farm, he did not let you overwork or do some work that was hard for a woman so he might do them all for you. 

“No, don’t do that. Let me do it for you, can you feed the chickens or the cows for me while I do this for you?”

Would always helped you to feed the chickens and cows. Atsushi might help you to collect eggs from the chicken and milk from cows too. And when you talked to the cows or the chickens and acted like those were your family, he would learn to do that too.

“Oh, little friends, are you hungry or sad? Can I do something to help you?”

Or when he collected the milk.

“There, there, beautiful girl, can you give me some milk? If I sold your milk we would have more money to upgrade our farm.”

2. Ryunosuke Akutagawa

Akutagawa was the scariest villager when you first moved to your inherited farm, he was not rude to you, but sometimes his eyes or his way of looking at you made you shiver.

And Akutagawa always came to your farm just to buy some eggs or milk, sometimes he would ask to buy your home-made things too. But when you interacted with Akutagawa long enough, you may find out that actually, he was kinda a good person but his acting always made people afraid of him.

You had a dog that you raised when it was a little one, so when your dog went away from your farm, you could not find it. That was when you were very sad, and you thought that you might have lost them forever. And then Akutagawa came to your farm, his hand carried your little friend and said that he found them playing near the lake.

“Is this your dog? I found them playing near the lake, you should keep them carefully. Because this friend is just a kid, they might die if they fell into water.”

You received your dog from Akutagawa and said thank you to him a lot. And you felt that Akutagawa was a good man.

You always gave Akutagawa some gifts when he visited your farm. He seemed awkward at first when he first received your gifts, and Akutagawa wanted to give them back to you right away. But you forced him to receive them, for many times later he would accept every gift you gave him, even though there were some of them he did not like.

And I guess he would give you back some gifts too, maybe some of his hand-made things like wheat, fruits, vegetables or some chicken eggs.

“My house has a lot of fruits and vegetables, even if I bring them to the market or sell them by myself, it is still too much for me. And if I didn’t use them all, they would be thrown away when they were rotten. So, I will give you some of them, hope you love them.”

Later when Akutagawa and you were on a date, he would bring you to his house sometimes just to help him do the farm work, and also he would come to your house to help you back. Every day like this with you just felt like a dream when you two were together.

When you got married to Akutagawa and shared the same house with him, every morning he would be the one who woke up early just to prepare for you two breakfast.

“Have some things before we work on the farm so you don’t faint or feel tired while working.”

Akutagawa always paid attention to you, whenever he saw you did not wear any hat while you were working on the field he would put his hat on your head right away.

“Don’t make yourself get sick by forgetting to wear a hat.”

3. Osamu Dazai

You met him when he first came to visit you.

“Oh, I heard that there was a new one who moved to live with us so I want to look at their face.”

This man always coincidentally bumped into you whenever you brought things to sell at the market. And that was his only reason to get home with you.

“Oh, again. Shall we get home together?”

Dazai always came to your house to buy your own products, milk, eggs, or even your hand-made things too.

“Can I have this straw hat, it is so beautiful.”

Dazai always tried to refuse your gifts for him, he did not want to receive them even though those things were his favorite too. Later when you two shared the same home, Dazai told you the reason that he did not want you to waste any things for him.

And he would date you in his fruit garden, Dazai would turn on his own radio that he brought from his home to the garden. Just some random Piano song that you had heard before you came into this place. Then you two danced until midnight.

After dancing you two would lie down on the ground, looking at the starry sky. Dazai would tell you everything about him. And he would propose to you by wearing the ring which was made from the grass on your finger.

“I don’t have much money or anything else in this world, but I promise with this grass ring that I will protect you until I am not in this world anymore.”

So when you two got married and you shared the same house with him, Dazai would try his hardest to work with you. Though he did not know how to cock so whenever you made some things for him he would be very happy about it.

Always wanted to help you when he finished his work if you were feeding chickens and he was there. Dazai would do it for you, if you were milking a cow, Dazai would force you to let him do it.

“Alright, alright, you should relax. Let me do it for you, just go ahead and make some tea or pie, maybe I really want to have some if I am finished.”

And like Akutagawa, he paid all his attention to you, whether you were feeling comfortable or not. He would wear his hat to you while you were doing farm, or he would help you to reach the hat or the straw basket which were far from your hand.

Terzo has loved horses and riding ever since he was a kid and when he got older he decided to become a dressage rider

he has a bit of spicy mare called Cadence "Caddie" (a.k.a. Queen of Ebony) and he spoils her - her wellfare is everything to him

Caddie can be really sweet, too, but it might take a time before she warms up to people

she gets easily spooked sometimes (and it might lead Terzo to go straight to the ground whenever he is riding)

he used to have a gelding called Spirit who he basically grew up with and his passing was so hard for Terzo (he also always carries a pic of the gelding in his phone case)

Terzo has been pretty successful at the competitions and he takes his career as a professional dressage rider seriously

sometimes he trains too much and it leads to frustration but luckily he has a great friend (Reader) and a coach who keep him in check

many people say that he has no time for dating as he wants to focus on his career and media has made it look like he dates a lot but never settles for anything serious

that annoys Terzo, even though he rarely says it out loud

it's true that the has had several short flings but he still wants to find something serious. he prefers to keep his private life private - media however makes it hard sometimes

when this big guy (Omega) starts working at the stables where Terzo's mare lives, Terzo wants to immediately get to know the man more 😉

Terzo's brothers has also their own animal related lives: Primo is a farmer, Secondo a vet and Copia keeps a pet sanctuary

Terzo gets really nervous before competitions but it really doesn't show outside and he gets a lot of praise of not being nervous (he usually laughs off those comments and says he gets nervous but of course it's up to people if they believe him or not)

Terzo and Omega get to know each other (at first Omega doesn't seem interested but Terzo knows how to charm people) and later it gets serious (which kind of scares Terzo a bit)

they are cute with their PDA (not showing too much of it) and everyone is so happy for them

(okay, they might get caught once while having some fun in the old barn out on the fields 😁)

Reader especially is so happy as Terzo really deserves to be loved wholeheartedly

The farmer brings his friend a (cool) wizard who seems to know everything. and I would like just reactions from sve characters (after all, I think that this friends would be popular)

and I also lack really cool theories, because there is no new content sve...to sad...

No worries, 2.0 will come out someday and we will be able to enjoy the content! While Flash is hard at work, we will write some headcanons!

I wrote mainly about SVE characters that are directly or indirectly related to the activities of adventurers and magicians, I think it makes sense. Anyway... It's kind of weird to write characters that you only get to know after the 2.0 release, but I hope I described them truthfully enough. And yeah, this is a long post. I've... quite inspired by this ask. Oh well... Enjoy, and thanks for the ask)

SVE characters react to Farmer's new friend - the all-powerful and popular mage🔮

Magnus Rasmodius:

When the Farmer introduced their wizard friend to him, he had... rather mixed emotions for two reasons: firstly, 'oh, ok, this is my friend and colleague'. Secondly, 'oh no, it's that friend and colleague of mine. Dear Yoba, you are even worse than Camilla.'

Magnus immediately asks his fellow magician a bunch of questions about what are they doing here and why they and the Farmer are learning spells, while no one from the Ministry and other mages knows about it.

Don't get me wrong, Magnus trusts them, and young Farmers aren't stupid either. But his fellow friend has a reputation for being strong and a little frivolous magician (*Sigh* 'I thought only Camilla was like that'). So if the Farmer and their new friend make trouble in Stardew Valley, then the Ministry will give Magnus a headache.

Also Magnus feels a little bit... jealous? Depending on what kind of relationship he has with the Farmer, jealousy is expressed in different ways.

If the Farmer and Rasmodius are good friends, then the wizard will be jealous that his colleague, one might say, took his apprentice away from him (sorry Morgan). It is impossible to describe in words the delight of a teacher when their student learns magic and, after much effort, completes the task brilliantly. It is even better if the student is gifted youth and performs everything on the first try. Magnus won't admit it out loud (and Morgan is also a gifted child, so he doesn't want to hurt their confidence). Even though Farmer technically is not Rasmodius pupil, still it's a little annoying.

If he and the Farmer are in a romantic relationship, then Magnus is obviously tense about the possibility that the Farmer will leave him because of his more popular and (never say out loud) more talented mage. The Farmer will quickly convince him that they only love him, and their friend will reassure Magnus that they won't be doing any "funny business". Magnus calms down and realizes once again how lucky he is to have the Farmer.

But he'll keep an eye on both of you. And the Ministry needs to know that his colleague is in Stardew Valley, no buts.

Camilla:

Oh no no no, dear. This is my Farmer. I found them first, which means I have to be friends with them, and tease them, and maybe even teach them magic.

Camilla has a rather possessive attitude (and I'm not talking about romantic relationships now). Rather, the witch of Castle Village knows the 'dear Farmer's new friend' very well, and their relationship among the circle of mages and adventurers can be described as 'frenemies'. Two powerful wizards who, in addition to protecting cities from monsters and providing magical services, behave like small children who are trying to take a toy from each other.

Much to the misfortune (or fortune) of the Farmer, they are became this "toy".

The Farmer enjoys the company of both of them, they are good friends. But when these two starts to pull over the poor Farmer to their side, or even worse, join their efforts to play a trick on the Farmer together, then the Farmer can no longer stand it and run to the Magnus tower to hide (and complain about the excessive attention to their person).

Magnus genuinely sympathizes with them and banishes annoying colleagues as best he can.

Lance:

The Farmer is not characterized by prejudice, was not afraid of magical manifestations and monsters, and they always found a common language with everyone. Therefore, Lance was not even surprised when he found out about the Farmer's friendship with a very popular magician in their circle. The Farmer is quite mysterious person, and many have shown interest in them. Lance's colleague was no exception.

Now Lance is very curious about how you two met. The mage sensed Lance's magical aura not far away and called him to join them and the Farmer.

The three of you discuss the latest news that has happened in the world and in the magician society (as far as the vow of non-disclosure of secret information among the uninitiated allows yes, Farmer, sorry about that).

The Farmer willingly talks about their activities on the farm, about adventures and about the new magic of the elements, which they learned from a new friend.

Lance, of course, is a little surprised by this, because he also knows the doctrines and rules from the Ministry of Magic, but his colleague reassures him and says that the Ministry knows. Of course, they are not very happy about this news, but, like in Camilla's case, they can't do anything about it huh, sucks to be you, the Ministry of Magic. Plus the Ministry also became curious about the unusually strong magic of the chaotic Farmer from Stardew Valley. Just please don't make Armageddon, or they will punish you ALL.

Whether the Farmer's relationship with Lance is friendly or romantic, the gallant adventurer will also occasionally keep an eye on the Farmer and his colleague, just in case.

In the meantime, the three of them can sit in the sunroom in the greenhouse on the farm, drink some tea, and share the latest gossip and magical discoveries. Even though Farmer's new friend might be a little carefree, they've got some pretty good company together.

The rest of the adventurers are whispering to each other about that strange Farmer and cannot understand what the all-powerful magician and talented adventurer from First Slash found in this weirdo.

Jadu:

Honestly, Jadu is busy right now and doesn't have time to listen to rumors and gossip. Duties at the post, writing books, enchanting weapons and amulets for adventurers - so much to do and so little time! If any of the other adventurers think that your life will be easier with magic, they will be greatly disappointed.

Considering how busy he's been lately, he's barely heard the whispers of his lower-ranking colleagues: 'new mage in Stardew Valley', 'farmer-adventurer' 'kind fellow', 'eccentric', 'incredibly strong magic'... Huh, isn't that the weird new Guild member under Marlon's care who provided him special-order bombs? Jadu has a vague memory of this new member, but he still remembers that the bombs were professionally made and served Castle Village well. Jadu only talked with the Farmer a couple of times after that order.

And now there's a meeting about the increased activity of corrupted monsters, and the discovery of a shard from Apophis by the same new adventurer. Okay, now Jadu is really interested in who this Farmer is.

When he came to his post at Crimson Baldlans, he was surprised that someone else was already here. This was the same Farmer, and with Jadu's colleague, the highest-ranking magician. Both the Farmer and the mage sat at their post and discussed the situation and the monsters in this pitiless desert. Noticing Jadu, the magician joyfully greeted him. The Farmer was also pleased see Jadu and offered some their food supplies from the farm, because they remembered that Jadu had been mentioned more than once for limited provisions in this post.

Well, Jadu will definitely not be bored today. In addition to talking to a wizard, he will be able to learn a little more about the Farmer than from passing gossip. They might even become good friends, who knows.

Isaac:

Isaac doesn't care. Just like that. He doesn't give a shit about all of this.

No, it's a fucking lie. Isaac is annoyed.

Not only does another all-powerful, child-behaving wizard populate Castle Village, but they also draws that strange Farmer kid into their games. If they blow up half the world, Isaac will curse at everyone in the world. Even if they don't blow up the world...

Alesia had to reassure Isaac more than once and say that outwardly the magician can and does everything frivolously, but their help to the guild in protecting against monsters is as huge as Camilla's. Isaac doesn't resent as loudly anymore, but the remnant of annoyance still remains on the tip of the adventurer's tongue.

It gets worse when Isaac is approached by this "couple" near the Adventurer's Guild, when he was standing near Marlon's boat and just enjoying the silence. The magician, seeing the sullen face with the scar, immediately recognizes "that lone wolf" and starts teasing Isaac, to the latter's unhappiness and annoyance.

But the Farmer, already knowing the stern nature of the adventurer, and simply does not want to watch how someone is laughed at, stops their friend and reminds them about respect. The magician makes an offended face and pulls away, although after a couple of seconds they smiles again and goes inside the Guild. The Farmer quickly apologizes to Isaac and follows the mage.

Okay, maybe it's still not so hopeless... At least your duo has someone with brains. Although it's ironic that the most mature of you turned out to be the youngest.

Alesia:

Well, that's unusual.

Not to say that she is more interested in this than her affairs in the Castle Village guild, but the friendship of such a powerful magician and a young Farmer is... quite an interesting combination. Wizards and witches have always had their quirks, just remember the case of Farmer being 'kidnapped' from their home by Camilla. "You did what?".

Marlon said that the two of you have become quite friendly, and the old adventurer is a little afraid of the consequences from the magician and the chaotic Farmer.

"C'mon Marlon. You are not the Farmer's nanny." I believe that in friendship with the Farmer, Marlon takes care of them like his child, you will not change my mind!

The only downside to this strange friendship so far is that Alesia now has to constantly reassure Isaac, who is mumbling about 'those immature fucking idiots' for most of the day.

That magician has been helping to protect Castle Village for several days now, and is quite popular outside the village as well. And the Farmer, according to rumors, is very skillful in using weapons and has reduced the number of monsters in Crimson Baldlans more than anyone else. Maybe outwardly they look like a bunch of weirdos, but they conscientiously fulfill their duty and protect ordinary people from dangers.

So she mentally asks Yoba to protect the two of you from all kinds of adversity and guide them to the path of wisdom... and to dissuade you from ideas that could get you into trouble.

Elliott Headcanons!

I love Elliott so much, and so my head is full of thoughts of him. Here are some of my headcanons about his backstory:

- his full name is Elliott Adam Whitman

- he has dimples

- he has very faint and soft freckles on his cheeks and nose

- he comes from a rich family, but was almost disowned by his parents for wanting to move to Pelican Town and be a writer

- his father is the CEO of a technology company, and expected Elliott to follow in his footsteps

- he is an only child, so all of his parents' expectations fell onto him

- he has a degree in literature

- he also has a degree in business, because his parents forced him to have one, but he almost failed his degree, he barely put any effort in it

- he worked for his father's company for a few years, but absolutely hated it

- he is farsighted

- he doesn't really like to wear his glasses, and usually doesn't when he writes or reads

- at night time, in dim light, he definitely needs to wear his glasses, otherwise he'll get a headache from trying to focus his eyes too much

- he ruined his vision in childhood, when he used to read in dim lightning after his bedtime

- he pierced his ears while he was in University

- he stopped wearing earrings, after his parents and a previous partner shamed him for wearing them

- he still sometimes wears earrings, but not in public

- he gets encouraged to wear earrings again by the farmer (which he greatly appreciates)

- he likes to exercise

- he spends most of his time sitting at his desk to write, so his legs get really sore

- he exercises a few times a week in the mornings

- in summer, his morning workout is swimming

- he used to get swim training in highschool, which he really enjoyed

✗ When you two first started going out he was quite shy and unsure of what to do so you may have had to guide him a bit, but if youre equally shy then it just would have taken longer to get to where you are now; oh and if that was the case it probably took some random burst of energy/confidence from either one of you to make the first move. 

✗ He will buy you milk but uf you hate it (like me 🤢) he will buy you another drink - like juice :D

✗ I dont think he will be the most affectionate, it’s not his love language - and neither are words haHAH. His love language is most likely quality time and gift giving.

✗ He does like to cuddle though 😳

✗ In fact he really likes to :D his favourite is when youre sitting in his lap while he watches a volleyball game (at home - he hates pda). 

✗ This brings us to our next, short point. Kageyama absolutely despises pda, he just thinks its something meant for closed doors and he does not believe that he has to display his relationship for the whole world to ogle at. The most he will do is light hand holding - mostly just linking your pinkies though.

✗ When it comes to height he does not care if you're smaller or taller than him ← but bb, please don't tease him about his height if he’s shorter because he will blow a fuse.

✗ Its mostly due to the fact that he’s insecure about himself - he thinks you will leave him like everyone else (in middle school - yes, he is still traumatised from it.)

✗ When he does get jealous he might be snappy to the other person and glare at them or be snappy at you and glare at you. When this happens please give him space because he needs it to clear his head. When he feels better he will come up to you and hug you into his chest so that he can’t see your face and you cant see his, then he will mumble an apology.

✗ Ever since you two began to date he has practiced apologising and getting better at apologising, this is because his inability to admit to his own mistakes was a sour patch in your relationship that almost ended it but he really did not want to lose you so he sucked up his pride and worked on what he had to; of course you also worked in what you had to. God I love character development 😩

✗ Dates are mostly at home dates or dates revolving around volleyball. If you're not into volleyball, Kageyama would not date you, it's something he is so passionate about and loves with every breath he takes (like you) and he refuses to compromise one love for the other. 

✗ ooooh he likes arcade dates a well! He thrives in a competitive environment. If you're not competitive and don't want to compete against him then he’ll compete for you - against the machines lol. Of course you play as well! But i doubt youre as competitive as this blueberry, and if you are - well i guess at the end of the day youll both be stacked in tokens 🤠

✗ Suga loves to cuddle, preferably face to face because he just thinks you're the most beautiful person in the world. 

✗ He is not the most jealous person, he definitely does get jealous but never of strangers. It's more when his close friends or your close friends get a bit too comfortable if that makes sense? He normally plays it off with humour and messes around because he acknowledges that he is insecure and that it is most likely him thinking of the worst case scenario; however if he really does start to worry and get jealous then he will sit you down and talk about it with you. To him, communication is key.

So I hc that he’s a bit of a chatterbox with you and it makes him really happy when you let him talk about a game or a theory he has. He’s a great listener so you can count on him to pay attention to what you say.

✗ if you didn't already have one, he bought you a switch. He loves video game dates especially when he can't see you in person (*cough* lockdown *cough*) 

✗ he loves when you sit on his lap when he plays video games. I know everyone talks about sitting on their partner’s lap as some sexual thing and yeah that can happen but most of the time he’s really soft with you and just enjoys being close to you. Loves when you cuddle into him while he plays so that he can place his head on yours or your shoulder. 

✗ i think he is a bit shy when it comes to kisses but definitely warms up after a while. He absolutely refuses to sleep if he doesnt get your goodnight kisses. He loves to kiss you on your nose and your cheeks the most. He loves when you kiss him on the forehead and the nose <3

✗ kenma is not one for pda, it's just not his vibe. He prefers intimacy and privacy; his relationship is not a movie for the world to watch and gawk at. Especially timeskip!kenma. Though that does not mean he wont ever show you skinship in public, occasionally he will softly hold your hand and maybe press a light kiss to your cheek. 

✗ in terms of jealousy, he is moderate. Kenma, as we all know, has incredible people reading skills, so he understands the situation pretty clearly and knows when you’re uncomfortable/what you think of the situation. Most of the time you can deal with the unwanted attention and he doesnt get jealous, but he does get insecure. He shows this by going quiet and looking away when you look at him, you can cure this by giving him hugs when you get home.

✗ oikawa 😳 have i told y'all how much i love him? Oikawa is the best written character, no cap, he is so complex and real it's crazy. It's so fun to write about him because you can pick him apart, you know his flaws, his weaknesses, his nightmares but also his strengths and dreams. Anywho i'll stop ranting now but i just love writing for such a perfectly imperfect character-

✗ he puts up a cocky exterior but thats all false. He's as scared as you are, he's scared that you'll leave him like his exes because of how obsessed and focused he is on volleyball. However he is a changed man, he's learned to balance his priorities. If you ever feel like you're being sidelined please communicate with him. 

✗ he values communication above all else and wants nothing more in a partner than for them to also value communication.

✗ back to the point → if you feel insecure of your relationship and that volleyball is taking too much of his attention let him know. He will change that. To an extent → he may have an important game coming up which is why he is focusing more, but he will always find time for you. 

✗ he never forgets to text you good morning and good night. He also sends you wholesome memes and makes sure you're taking care of yourself - they're like reminders for him to also take care of himself. 

✗ he is both jealous and insecure. Everyone who gets too close to you or spends a lot of time with you, he is jealous of. Jealous because he wishes he could spend more time with you but he knows he can't - not without jeopardising his volleyball career. He's also insecure, because he knows you could just leave him for a more fulfilling, more attentive, more balanced relationship. You know that too, I mean, of course you could leave him but no one would be as good as him. No one could match up to your beautifully flawed boyfriend.

✗ he is affectionate, very, very affectionate. He loves you so much. And because he spends so much time on volleyball, anytime with you he's touching you - memorizing every dint, every curve, everything about you so that he won't ever forget. 

✗ Oikawa has trouble sleeping unless he's with you, he wants to sling to you in his sleep and be grounded and remember that he is loved and cherished and appreciated y'know?

✗ pda is not an issue for him. He doesn't care what anyone else says or thinks :P in this relationship the only opinions that matter are his and your’s. Tell him you're uncomfortable with something and he won't do it, and vice versa. But otherwise, like Semi, he won't mind having a good makeout session with you in the middle of the street ;)

a/n: i’m so touched that you guys really enjoyed my farmer!kita + taking care of his pregnant wife headcanons and requested for an osamu and atsumu edition. i just know that these are going to be long so i’ll be doing atsumu’s first and then osamu’s so i hope you like this !!

of course i have to talk about how you guys got together because they’re one of my favorite parts to write 

you and atsumu probably met through online dating. atsumu normally has a very busy schedule but he also wanted to date and therefore online was the way to go

surprisingly, he was more into the idea of dating someone rather than just meeting up to have sex. sure, he enjoys that but it’s different from sitting down and getting to know someone

eventually, he matched with you and he was charmed by how funny you were and that you didn’t mind his busy schedule. it wasn’t long until you went on your first date and the first time atsumu laid his eyes on you, he just had this feeling that your relationship was going to be a good one

the two of you would go on dates in your spare time but because he was often busy and tired after practice, you two would just hang out in his apartment and eat take-out

once in a while you like doing something special and cooking a home meal for him and atsumu just knows you have no idea how much he’s touched that you would cook for him

the two of you have so much fun by yourselves in your little at-home dates. one time, you and atsumu decided to marathon dreamworks movies and had a heated debate over whether shrek or megamind was better

omg you were practically yelling at each other and it was so dumb but after that, atsumu was just like ‘oh shit i have to marry her’

he ended up consulting kita and osamu for advice because this is some serious shit

anyway, he did buy a ring but he just couldn’t think of the right time to propose. atsumu ended up proposing on the spot though after the MSBY jackals won a really important game and you rushed to the court to congratulate him

osamu was basically pushing people out of the way yelling ‘PREGNANT WOMAN PLEASE MOVE’ while suna was keeping you steady

kita agreed to meet you all at the hospital and atsumu, who noticed you were gone from your seat, heard from his coach that you had gone into labor

and then bokuto and hinata were all OKAY LET’S FINISH THIS GAME QUICK SO ATSUMU CAN MEET HIS BABY

i swear to god it ended up being the MSBY jackal’s best game ever. hinata and bokuto’s power was over 9000. even sakusa got into the whole frantic energy

they didn’t even celebrate once they finished the set they all just left the court and piled into sakusa’s car

sakusa may have ignored a few traffic rules and stoplights otw but he did it to help in his own way

This is in my Thalia's alive AU

Thalia and Luke love to braid each other's hair. It doesn't matter if it's super long or short just enough for braids, they are going to do it.

They cook together all the time and if one of them can't do something the other helps.

They shop together in farmers' markets and stuff.

Both of them are creative people. Luke writes, while Thalia paints. Sometimes she can do sculptures and is fairly good photograph.

I totally ignore the no-technology rule cause it just doesn't make sense, so often Thalia has these random photo shoots with Luke. Most of the are for her photography club, but she posts some of the on Instagram, where it's basically her worshipping him and just being confident in her relationship. Though she one time posted a photo shoot inspired by the Greek gods with a caption "daily reminder that my husband is a God and I have him all for myself" bc one of her coworkers tried to get him to cheat.

Luke's profile is much calmer but it too consists of photos of Annabeth and Thalia. They are just being happy in the pics, so there is almost to none of these professional looking photos on Thalia's profile.

They slow dance in the kitchen whenever they feel like it.

Alternatively, they also rock out randomly while being in the kitchen.

Luke can't express his feelings very easily bc of trauma in canon and also in there from what I learned in his diary his love language is acts of service, so showing his love is hard, but Thalia understands by the way he cleans the apartment even though he had a hard workday just like her or when he has the bath ready with all the things she loves and so on.

Luke always carries an extra jacket for Thalia.

Thalia does Luke's piercings and she helps him take care of them.

Thalia is the kind of person to hit someone they love accidentally and then shower them with kisses. She does it both to Luke and Annabeth.

Luke learned to do the girls' favorite desserts.

I feel like I already mentioned this, but after Luke's quest Thalia cooked him soups and puddings(bc the scar goes through his cheek i think there is gonna be some damage in the inside of his mouth too). When he could eat solid food she did cook some other stuff too.

It was the first time Luke cried in front of her that wasn't in anger. He got lots of cuddles.

Their wedding isn't a traditional one, but the one thing they still had is a first dance. It was to "when you come home" by mree. Annabeth cried bc they looked so in love.

Luke wanted to try a little bit more feminine style, but didn't know how or why he wanted it. Thalia helped him buy more stuff and help him find why he feels like this.

Luke loves to play with Thalia's hair when he talks. His hand is always at the back of her head, with her hair in between his fingers. She grew it out more once and it was heaven for him

Okay this one is for that superhero AU, but u know when he was able to actually get up and is not dying, Luke wanted to cook dinner but couldn't get something right, cue very cute scene where he feeds Thalia.
