Kirby Copy Ability Thoughts

Animal - Pretty cute, useful for digging, decent in combat, would love to see it come back

Archer - Perfect, wonderful, amazing. Love varied movesets.

Backdrop - Great when merged with fighter later

Ball - I hate this one, yet I would love to see it return

Beam - A classic, prefer it when it has a more diverse moveset. Love the dash air attack and the infinite air spin

Beetle - One of my favs, super fun and fluid to use

Bell - Again, slept on, really enjoy the dash attack and the look

Bomb - I always avoid this one, it just feels very plain jane to me

Bubble - Gets a little overwhelming to have to manage all the bubbled abilities, but genuinely interesting. Would love to see a way for it to return.

Burning - Great when it becomes merged with fire later

Circus - Not a huge fan of this one, doesn't feel like I am in control

Cleaning - Interesting how it is worthless for Kirby but good for his friends, and love that Star Allies uses it to reference those games

Cook/Crash/etc. - I barely ever use these unless they are obviously offered right before a boss fight

Copy - Such a funny one. Niche, but I wouldn't mind seeing it return. The Tac is such an iconic enemy too

Cupid - bring him back! Feels like a downgraded UFO, which I like. More abilities like this that really change the way Kirby moves, for better or worse

Cutter - A classic, maybe my favorite of the core abilities. Great for bosses once you can aim and charge it.

Doctor - Not a huge fan. Cute theming but feels like it lacks a gameplay purpose

ESP - Good on the mech for that one double boss fight, but otherwise cute theming and underwhelming power.

Fighter - Love to see it every time. The original varied moveset. Lost a bit of its uniqueness as other abilities also gained varied movesets but its always fun to see the flashy animations

Fire - Very reliable, love it for safely bashing bosses. Love the fire dash, love the flame wheel drop in Triple Deluxe

Freeze/Ice - I miss when he would turn blue for this one but the Parka is cute too! Love the ice blocks, the air attack, and most of all the iceball roll from Return to Dream Land. Always a fun and cute one.

Ghost - Never unlocked it but seems odd

Hammer - I mean, the king of weapon abilities. Always try to hold it as long as possible. Great for bosses. Love the dash air attack

Jet - Love using this in enviroments designed for it, fun that it turns the mech into a shmup

Laser - Really like this one for unique puzzle solving but less so for boss fights. Bring it back! I'd love to see this mix with other powers or an Ultra/upgraded version too

Leaf - A little underwhelming for such a late addition, but I really like this one for hitting aerial enemies. Feels situational. Bring it back.

Light - LOL I forgot about this one, its funny. Bring it back for the lolz

Magic - Enjoyed this in Squeak Squad, felt wacky but usable. Bring it back.

Metal - Superior to stone in every way (except cute references). Bring it back NOW

Mike - I never use this but I think it is funny that the mech version isn't single use

Mirror - THE GOAT, my all time favorite copy ability. Useful for all occasions, especially when they add the pillar attack. Only reason to leave it out of a Kirby game is to give the other abilities a fighting chance for my attention

Missile - I like that it is hard to use. Bring it back

Needle - Sucked until you could shoot the spines.

Ninja - Never connected with this one much despite its ubiquity

Parasol - A bit situational, but a reliable one that ages well as the moveset grows

Plasma/Spark - Was never a huge fan of these until I learned their boss-killing potential late into Return to Dreamland, but I still hate wiggling the stick. RtDL helped by allowing motion control for charing up

Poison - Not bad, its cute, great for boss killing, deserves to return

Sleep - I like there being one bad ability

Spear - Really like this one being included as bandana's weapon!

Stone - Actually never liked this one, maybe it got a better moveset at some point that I never picked up on

Suplex/Throw - Great but prefer when merged with Fighter

Sword - Not really a huge fan except for the dash aerial or mixing with elements or underwater

Tornado - Great for bosses, great for levels. Love its power being counter balanced by its difficulty of use

UFO - I never understood why this is such a rare ability when it seems like it just slows you down

Water - This one seems like it should've been included sooner. Love the dash attack

Wheel - Adore this one, always improves a game by being present. Lends itself to unique platforming level design. Great when you can ride an ally. Hate the mech suit version though

Whip - Never connected with this one, seems like it doesn't do enough damage to be worth using on bosses but isn't mobile enough for level clearing

Wing - Really enjoy this one, I love any ability that changes Kirby's movement options

Yo-Yo - So rare that it really reminds me of Super Star, and I love Gim's design. Really glad this one is in Star Allies.

Overall, I basically just like the abilities in Super Star especially since Mirror and Yo-Yo are two of my favorites. But I also really like Archer, Beetle, and Bell introduced in Triple Deluxe. Shout out to Return to Dream Land too though for Spear and Water. And the last shout out goes to Squeak Squad for having the guts to replace Stone with Metal.

0: 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 -

Y/N L/N was a part of the Future Foundation, 14th division. While their twin sister, T/N who was the Ultimate Queen ( Originally Princess but a certain blonde already took the title ), was a Remnant of Despair along with the rest of their class.

It pained the twin to see their other being controlled by the strawberry blonde fashionista. Especially since they had to capture her themselves.

After running the program, Y/N decided to enter as a secret agent of the Future Foundation to help the two others when needed. It hurts knowing the truth but they were glad to see everyone before the tragedy struck.

Their dear twin sister was indeed a troublemaker and others even say she's ‘ evil ’ due to her cruel and awful personality, but of course as - not only her twin - her loyal servant ever since they were reunited, Y/N stood by the girl's side.

There was also another that they treasure, Nagito Komaeda,The Ultimate Lucky Student. Yes, even knowing how he is, he managed to make them fall for him. It was interesting really, since T/N isn't really fond of him ( Most of them don't ). But their was something about him that made them feel . . . Loved. Not platonically.

Y/N and their friends, their fellow survivors of the first killing game, had thought everything would go smoothly.

Sadly, that was not the case. That's the reason why I said ‘ first ’ after all. Y/N had failed to protect the Ex-Remnants of Despair from Monokuma's sick game. They could only think of him being the reason the virus entered in the first place.

Three trials. Three blackeneds. Four victims. It was awful. They hated the fact they had to go through another killing game. Now here they are, starving in two fruit-based buildings. Unfortunately, that was not the only motive the despair loving bear had planned.

1: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫.

“ Upuhuhuhu! That's right! T/N is an agent working for me! ” Monokuma announced to the eleven remaining students. Everyone's eyes widen as they all looked at the said girl with shock and anger.

She took a step back, almost stepping on the skirt of her dress as she clicked her tongue and gritted her teeth. “ Seriously!? You peasants believe him!? ” She asked with a glare.

“ How can we not? You're basically . . Evil! ” Kazuichi exclaimed, hiding behind Mechamaru to avoid the girl's glare. Everyone agreed with what he said. T/N was definitely cruel and awful, how did she managed to get her Ultimate anyway?

“ Silence! You shall not call them ‘ peasants ’! ” Sonia ordered with a stern look on her pretty face. The young queen scoffed, crossed her arms and looked away “ Isn't that what we call others below us, your highness? ”

“ I mean, as despairing as it sounds . . Monokuma hasn't lied to us ” Nagito pointed out, to which T/N replied - “ Hush, you hope obsessed freak! ”

But it seems like everyone seemed to believe it's true.

“ You asked for me, your majesty? ” Y/N entered the deluxe room of Grape House. There, at the desk, was their twin who's eyes were shining with anger. “ That damned bear . . Those peasants . . ” She began to curse under her breath as she stabbed a certain area on the map.

“ I will make him pay for ratting me out ”

The elder twin sighed and walked up to her, placing a blanket they grabbed from the bed over her shoulders. “ It is getting late, you should rest. Some sleep should give you energy for now ”

T/N whined but listened nonetheless. As soon as the girl plopped onto bed, she was out like a candle light. Y/N smiled softly and kissed her forehead, bidding her goodnight before leaving the room.

“ That devil shall not live to see the light of day . Not after she poisoned us with her thorns ”

“ A body has been discovered! ”

“ A body has been discovered! ”

Two. Two victims. One was a destroyed robot and the other was a stabbed with gunshots H/C girl. That's right. The victims were Mechamaru Nidai and T/N L/N.

2.1: 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞.

Nagito knew something was off.

The moment he saw his hope, Y/N, he knew that they were hiding something. And that something was indeed shocking. “ Ah, I apologise for not introducing myself earlier . . I'm Y/N L/N, the Ultimate Servant ”

That was a lie.

After completing the final dead room, he got his prize. It was files about them. Not only did he found out that Hajime was talentless and was a reserve course student, but his dear hope, his true love of his life, Y/N was not only talentless, but an agent of the Future Foundation.

He was upset but understood Y/N's reason. But for some reason . . He can't help but feel like he missed something.

2.2: 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭.

After the trial . .

“ That's right! The blackened who killed T/N L/N and destroyed Mechamaru Nidai isss . . . Gundham Tanaka, the Ultimate Breeder! AHAHAHA! ” Monokuma cackled as everyone looked at the breeder, who seemed to be prepared for the up-coming punishment.

Despair was painted on everyone's faces, a few tried to hide it. But one let out the pain that was weighing their down, slamming their hands on their podium which surprised them.

Tears streamed down their face as they asked, “ Why did you choose to murder her!? Why in the brutal way!? ” Their voice cracked from the sobs that came after the question. They knew that the H/C haired servant would be upset, but it was shocking to see them break down so . . Easily.

But . . Come to think of it . . They weren't acting like themselves. They usually back Hajime up with no hesitation but during the trial, they kept their mouth shut. Like they're scared to say something wrong or spill information.

Gundham replied while looking away, “ Mechamaru did not deserve death . . But that daughter who's lord is a devil did. She was a demon and lived in the depths of darkness ” ‘ Y/N ’ 's eyes widen those words, their grip tightening.

“ That's right . . I deserved to die ” Everyone looked at them with confusion as they straighten their posture “ It's my fault they died . . ” Placing a hand on her chest, she exclaimed “ So pin the blame on me! ”

Then it finally hit. This wasn't Y/N . . This was T/N. If that's the case then . .

Nagito lowered his head and whispered, “ Y/N's gone . . ”

Knock Knock ** Click.

“ Y/N, you're here! Good news, I have an idea on how to prevent . . Huh? ” T/N turned around to see her twin that was wearing her clothes and their hair down like hairs. They looked identical to her. “ Why are you . . ? ”

They only smiled and gave her their clothes, a letter was placed on top of it. “ I actually have a plan of my own, dear sister ” T/N's eyes widen in sudden realization, “ You don't mean . . I will not allow it! Besides, that damned bear would know! ” She exclaimed, her eyes glistening.

Y/N shook their head and placed the clothes on the bed. After that, they put their hands on her shoulders with a firm yet gentle grip. “ I already took care of that issue ” “ But- ” “ Listen now my dear, you and I will switch and you will be me. It is fine, we're twins and I'll be here to take the strike ”

They wiped away her tears with their thumbs and kissed her forehead, “ They won't know because we look alike ” Y/N stood on the original position their twin was in as T/N hesitantly switched clothes. “ B-But what about Nagito!? Surely, he'll miss you! A-And I'm the devil here! I'm the demon! Not you! ”

Their smile saddens, “ . . . ” They knew how the pale luckster likes to pin the blame on his luck and himself. But they already wrote to him in advance. They hoped it would help him in some way. Y/N truly love the luckster just as much as they love their twin sister. But they live to serve their sister, even if it kills them. Even after knowing everything the other's don't.

Dodging the first question, they replied with closed eyes “ If the devil's your lord as they all curse your name . . Then I am a demon too, for we have the same blood ” As soon as T/N finished dressing, they pulled her outside and ordered “ Now go, don't look back and be free ”

The twin sister hesitates before turning away and acted like they had a normal conversation, holding back the tears as the cameras assumed she was the other. Y/N watched her leave before closing the door, leaving it unlocked and sat on the chair while watching the fire on the candle dance.

“ If the day comes that we are reborn once again, it'll be nice to play with you ” They could hear the footsteps “ I'm sorry for leaving you Nagito . . But until then . . ”

* Creak!

Glaring at the breeder, they asked ( sounding like their twin ) “ How dare you, you pest!? ”

Watching the execution was painful, like always. T/N handed the letter to Nagito before leaving the trial room “ . . They wanted you to have this ”

3: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.

“ My Dearest Nagito,

I am guessing that T/N gave you this after revealing the truth, correct? But, that is not the point.

I know what you're thinking.

You're blaming yourself again, are you not? You blame your luck. You regret letting me get close to you.

But you shouldn't.

Yes, I have broken our promise. And I truly am sorry but I will never regret getting close to you. I'm sorry for leaving you behind so early.

And I know you may think you have nothing to live for but please, live and fight the despair.

That's what you tell me, right?

A daily reminder that you are not useless nor worthless, you are more than that. You're more than just a stepping stone. Don't be afraid to acknowledge that, even if you don't believe it.

Y/N slowly opened their eyes, trying to figure out where they were and what was going on. But as soon as they sat up, they were pulled into a hug. “ Y/N! You're awake! ” “ T/N . . ? What . . ? ” Their gaze then landed on Nagito who stood beside Hajime.

Then it snapped, they hugged back and smiled “ So you did it . . I'm so glad ” They whispered as T/N pulled away and Nagito walked up to them. Tears finally streamed down his cheeks as he held both of their hands and leaned his forehead on theirs. “ You're here . . ”

Y/N kissed his nose, “ Everything's alright, I'm here, you're here, we're here. Safe and sound ”

Everything turned out to be great in the end. T/N slowly warmed up to everyone. They're working with the Future Foundation on Jabberwock Island. And all is good.

Arms wrapped around their waste as the luckster placed his chin on their shoulder, playing with the ring on their finger. With a content sigh, he says “ I love you ”

Yes, everything has it's flaws but nonetheless it was perfect to them.

Clue (1985)

This is one of my all-time favorite films. I have no clue why. It might be the nostalgia factor. But I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I’ve seen it a million times, but I have never looked into the interesting trivia on its IMDB page, so this will be fun!

Communism is Just a Red Herring Fact: The line "Communism is just a red herring" is said in all three endings (twice by Wadsworth and once by Miss Scarlet). Not only is it is a pun (particularly after World War II, the Russian Communists were frequently called "reds", for example, the anti-Communist slogan, "Better dead than red."), but it cleverly refers to a MacGuffin (or a real "red herring") implemented by the screenwriters, because none of the murderers motives end up having anything to do with creating political conspiracy. There are various visual red herrings on-screen, such as a hammer and sickle on the shelf beside the torch Colonel Mustard finds, and a bust of Lenin in the attic.

I loved him, but I had to leave him. I know I hurt him and I wish I didn't. But there is no fixing it. I wish he understood why. Before I met him I would lay in bed wishing someone in my life cared enough about me to stay with me. And be there for me. And the one person who was always there, and who stayed, I lost. It's my fault and I wish it didn't happen. But it did.

2 months before

"I'm sorry Lou." "Save it y/n." "I really am. Please believe me." "You know, before we were together you would always say that you wanted someone to stay! Well I stayed! I think you just chased people away!" A tear slipped down my cheek. I paused, not knowing what to say. I mean sure him and I would argue. But normally when he or I would say something like that we would apologize. "I'm sorry." I said in a whisper. He looked at me with hurt in his eyes. "I don't want to hear your bullshit." "Lou, I-" "Pack your stuff and leave." My heart sank even deeper. I didn't even think that was possible. I went to the room I had stayed in for about 2 months. I grabbed all my clothes and everything I had there. Put it in a bag. Then went out of the room. I opened the front door and walked out, but before closing it I said, "Just know that I love you. And that I really am sorry." And with that I closed the door.

Present Day

I know I shouldn't have lied to him. But it was what was best for him. I love him, that's why I did what I did. I heard my phone go off meaning someone texted me. I didn't feel like moving so I just ignored it. Then it's went off again. So I grabbed it from my nightstand. It was Liam.

Liam: Y/n, I don't care what happened. You need to see Louis

Liam: Seriously, your the only one who would know how to make him happy.

Liam: I mean just listen to the song he wrote

Liam: Answer your phone!

Y/n: Chill the fuck out Liam. Sorry it took me 2 seconds to grab my phone.

But I think he forgot that we have a key to his bedroom." I gave him a small smile and he motioned me to come in. I walked in and saw all the boys. They all ran to me and hugged me. I know they were scared for Louis. "You know where his room is." Liam said as he handed me a key. I got to the door and knocked on it. "GO AWAY!" I heard the muffled yell. "Lou, can I please come in?" "Y/n?" "Yeah." "Why are you here!? It's over between us. Remember!?" "Lou, please just let me come in." "Go away Y/n." "I didn't want to just barge in... But oh well." Before he could respond I unlocked the door and went in. I looked to Louis who was a complete mess. His hair was crazy, his eyes were red and puffy. "Lou." I said saddened by how poorly he has been treating himself. "What are you doing here y/n?" He said coldly. "Liam texted. He said you weren't doing good." "And that's your problem why?" "Because it's my fault." "You didn't have to come." "Yes I did. I love you. And even if we aren't together anymore I still care about you. I'm sorry for what happened. I have told myself every day that I was stupid for lying to you." "Well I'm sorry to. But that doesn't change what happened." "I know. But I just want to make sure you are okay. Or that you will be. And I'm not leaving until I know it for sure." "Y/n please just leave." "No Lou, not until you promise me you're okay." He waited a moment and was looking at me. "Even if you lied to me I still feel like I'm not supposed to lie to you. So I can't tell you I'm okay. Because I'm not." All I wanted to do was hug him and make him happy but I don't think he wants that. "Louis listen, I'm so sorry for everything I put you through. I know that it will take time to gain your trust again. But I still love you with everything I am. So I hope one day you can trust me. And maybe we can re-do everything. And I know you don't want me here. So I'm going to go." I went to walk away but he grabbed my hand. I turned around and he said, "Don't go." I gave him a small smile then he said, "I want you to stay here. I miss you so fucking much. And I miss the way we kissed, I miss the way you would fall asleep in my arms, and when you couldn't sleep I would sing until you did. I miss cuddling with you, and doing weird shit with you. So please don't leave." "I won't go anywhere." He leaned on and kissed me passionately. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist. As we pulled apart he said, "God, I love you so fucking much." "I love you too." I said before kissing him again. Our kiss was interrupted by Liam, "Well I guess they're back." "Way to ruin a moment Payno!" Louis said. "Louis and y/n sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G-" Niall said. I stared to blush so I hid my face into Louis shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me again and we stood like that. "Now if you guys don't mind I want to spend quality time with my girlfriend." Louis said. "Okay we'll leave you two alone." Zayn replied. The bedroom door was almost closed when Harry shouted, "USE PROTECTION!" "Oh god!" I said as I let out a laugh. I kissed Louis once more then we laid in bed and cuddled till we fell asleep.

Masterlist

Pulling into Gavin’s driveway I looked at my phone one last time and released a sigh. I felt Gavin’s hand squeeze my thigh before stepping out of the car. I followed behind the two as we walked towards Gavin’s home. I started to panic, the last time I was here was when we got the call about my dad. 

“(Y/n), your heart rate has increased, are you okay?” Nines asked. Gavin pulled back from unlocking the door and looked at me, worry painted all over his expression. I gave them both a shaky smile.

“I’m okay, just overthinking. Nothing some movies and junk food won’t fix.” Both of them gave me a look that showed they didn’t buy what I had said, but instead of fighting me Gavin opened his door and all three of us walked in.

Immediately Lucy ran up to me and started rubbing my leg. I smiled and bent down to pet her. I heard Gavin chuckle and he got down next to me. 

“She missed you.” He leaned over and kissed my cheek. “I missed you.” I giggled and shook my head, as Nines stepped around us making his way over to Gavin’s kitchen. It didn’t take long until Nines’ voice spoke up. 

“Gavin, you do not have a single vegetable or fruit. Not even the processed ones in a can.” Nines said in an appalled tone. 

“Are either of you surprised?” Gavin joked. 

“Surprised? No. Disgusted? Yes.” Nines quipped, causing me to giggle. Gavin sent a glare my way which caused me to laugh harder. I glanced up at Nines who also had a small smile on his face.

“Great, now I get to have two people making fun of me in my own home.” Gavin stood back up and stretched. He held out his hand for me to grab and he pulled me up. “Does it really matter, Nines? You can’t even eat and we’re probably going to get take out anyway.” 

“Gavin, it matters because it is clear by so many of the lifestyle choices that you are not taking care of yourself.”

“Hey, I’m here for a good time and not a long time.” He joked, I laughed and leaned into him. It felt good to be around both of them in a non stressful environment. Nines looked at both of us and sighed. “You made me have a salad last week, get off my back.” Defeated for the time being, Nines sighed and retreated into the living room. 

“Wow! One whole salad, I can’t believe it!” I teased as I wrapped my arms around his neck, he placed his hands on my hips and smiled down at me. “So what did you two want to do tonight?” I kept my hold on Gavin as I looked over to Nines. Nines’ LED was spinning yellow as he stared at the wall. 

“Hey, Tin- Nines. Hey Nines, you listening?” Gavin nervously looked at me and then back Nines, probably hoping I wouldn’t get upset of his almost slip up. I was content that he caught himself in time. Connor would remind me that progress is progress no matter how slow. 

“Gavin, you have a switch console. We could play a game to relax.” 

“You have a switch! Those are so old!” I jumped out of his arms and raced over to the tv. I heard Gavin laugh as I slid the rest of the way on my knees. “What games do you have?” 

“Multiplayer, I have Arms, MarioKart 8 Deluxe, Super Bomberman R, and probably some others. I’m not really sure about all the single-player games I have.” Gavin awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. “That was actually the first purchase I made for myself with my paycheck.” He chuckled. 

“Aw, you’re a dork too! How sweet Gav!” I giggled pulling out MarioKart. “Hey, Nines do you want to play MarioKart with us?” 

“That would be acceptable.” Nines nodded. 

“Gav?”

“As long as I get to play Rosalina.” Gavin kneeled next to me and started setting up the game. 

“I would like to play Koopa Troopa. They have one of the highest in-game stats according to nintendolife.com.”

“Okay, Mr. Stats. Skill matters more than some statistics you get from the internet.” Gavin snorted. “Come on pipsqueak.” We all shuffled onto the couch and got ready for the races. 

 Ten races in, one large pizza, a six-pack of shitty beer, and changing into comfy clothes later I was leaning against Gavin sideways on the couch with my legs over Nines’ lap. Gavin had his right arm hanging over my shoulder as he rubbed small circles into my arm. 

Gavin was surprisingly good at MarioKart winning just about half the races, Nines winning three, and I won only two races, but it was a good time. Gavin, of course, had been a poor sport about it, and had I not been laying on him, I’m sure he would have gotten up to continue his bragging. To be honest, it seemed like Nines went easy on us, but he still seemed to have fun. Always making his win come at the last moment just to prove he could.   

Now the three of us were watching reruns of Criminal Minds. Well, it was more like they were watching the show and I was listening to them complain about everything they were doing wrong in the show. Lack of gloves, how quick they got results back, and just the drama. 

“You know, we can watch something else you two.” I mused. There was something about Gavin, Nines, and Connor’s love-hate relationship with crime shows that was amusing. The most surprising of it all was how invested Nines seemed to be. I had a feeling if it was just me and him he wouldn’t be making fun of the show.

“No, this is fun,” Gavin said. Nines looked over as I rolled my eyes causing him to smirk. 

“It may be fun for you Gavin, but not necessarily the rest of us.” Gavin groaned and looked over at Nines.

“See (Y/n)? This is why I need to call him Tin Can. Knock him off his high horse for once.” 

“Uh-huh, that’s why you do that.” I snuggled closer to Gavin. All the warm food, drinks, and video games had made me feel more relaxed than I had felt in the past two weeks. I felt Gavin kiss the top of my head. I hummed and closed my eyes.

“(Y/n), you can fall asleep if you’d like.” Nines' voice broke through my thoughts. I couldn’t even open my eyes. I tried to force myself to nod, but sleep had already claimed me.

 I woke up the next morning alone in Gavin’s bed. I stretched and looked around. It was barely 9 am and I felt well-rested, for the first time in quite some time. I could smell bacon coming from the kitchen. 

Yawning, I got up and walked towards the kitchen. 

“Hey, pipsqueak.” Gavin greeted me. He was sitting on a low bar stool as Nines was cooking. “I was going to make breakfast, but-”

“You somehow managed to get more eggshell pieces than the actual egg in the pan. Because of me, the food will actually be edible. Will you please stop complaining.” Nines snapped, I giggled as Gavin glared daggers into the back of Nines’ head. I kissed Gavin’s check and gave him a side hug. 

“Thank you, Nines.” I squeezed Gavin as he grumbled about it being his food, to begin with. Nines barely responded as Gavin pulled me into his lap. 

“How’d you sleep?” Gavin gave me a small peck on the lips and rubbed his nose against mine. 

“The best I have in a while. Thank you. Did you guys stay up all night?”

“Nah, I went to bed around 3.” 

“Wait, did you sleep on the couch?” Gavin quickly looked away and I slapped him on the chest. “Gavin! It’s your bed I could have slept on the couch.” 

“That would have been unacceptable, (Y/n). Connor alerted me that you weren’t getting an adequate amount of sleep. If we were to leave you on the couch you would have woken up in the middle of the night and would most likely be experiencing lumbar pain.” Nines turned back to look at me, pointing the spatula threateningly at me. 

“Nines! Point that at someone else!” Gavin barked as Nines turned his glare from me to Gavin. I shook my head and pressed a kiss to his jaw, the stubble scratching my lips. 

“Thank you, both of you.” I murmured. Nines nodded and went back to making breakfast and Gavin continued to hold me. Connor was right, I did need a break.

Roman was headed back from the communal showers when he saw Logan emerge from his own room and stride furiously toward him. He wondered if Logan was going to solve all of Virgil’s problems with varying degrees of annoyance. But no--he diverted left when they got to the staircase. He nearly ran into Patton, who was coming off the staircase, but he didn’t acknowledge either of them, almost as though he hadn’t even seen them.

Patton stared after Logan, bewildered, as Roman came to stand next to him. “I wonder what bee’s in his bonnet,” Roman said.

“I dunno. He looked really mad though. I hope he and Virgil aren’t fighting,” Patton said, bewilderment turning to concern.

“Do they even have reasons to fight? They’re ‘just roommates, not friends,’ after all,” Roman said, mocking Logan.

“I feel like that gives them even more reasons to fight, since friends are supposed to get along,” Patton said, dryly. “Whatever it is though, I hope they work it out, otherwise game night is gonna be really awkward.”

“Yeah...about that…” Roman said, trailing off with a grimace.

“What? Is dating Virgil going to interfere with game night? Game night is sacrosanct, Roman!”

“I don’t know what that means, Pat,” Roman said, starting to walk towards the dorm. He pulled out his keys and started to wiggle the dorm key into its lock. “But no, dating Virgil isn’t going to interfere with game night,” he got the door unlocked and swept into the room, quietly adding, “uhh, especially since we’re uh, not, dating.”

The door closed behind Patton, which was good, because Roman would have died on the spot if the entire dorm could have heard him say, “Oh my gosh, you had a one-night stand with Virgil?!”

“Patton!” Roman squeaked, gesturing to the wall that they shared with Virgil and Logan, as though to say he is right there!

“Sorry,” Patton said, and then, in a whisper, “You had a one-night stand with Virgin Mobile, though?”

“Okay, first of all, I don’t like the judgement in your tone--” Roman said, already putting on the Heathers soundtrack so his neighbor couldn’t hear whatever ridiculous thing Patton said next.

“No no, that’s not what I meant to sound like!” Patton said. “Of course, expression of sexuality is totally normal and should be encouraged--”

“Patton.”

“--even if, uh, it doesn’t take a necessarily traditional route--”

“Patton!”

“--and as long as everything was consensual, I mean, there’s totally nothing wrong with that, I didn’t mean to make it sound like--”

“Patton!” Patton shut up, and Roman ran a hand through his hair with a sigh. “We didn’t--we’re not dating, we didn’t have a one-night stand, nothing---nothing like that, okay? I asked Virgil to help me with my math since Logan wasn’t there and it’s positively incomprehensible, and then we were watching Lion King at like one am, and Virgil fell asleep, and I didn’t know if I had permission to sleep on your bed in situations like that, and I didn’t want to text and ask at one in the morning, so I just didn’t, okay? It was completely platonic sleeping together--not sleeping together--just--we were sleeping, just sleeping, not doing anything but sleeping, and it happened to be in the same bed, and--and that’s it, nothing else. No feelings towards each other, whatsoever, except, y’know, like friendship.”

“Well, you could have fooled me!” Patton said cheerfully.

“Patton what in the name of the Bard Himself is that supposed to mean?” Roman asked with a glare.

“Nothing,” Patton said, smile dropping, “I’m sorry. If you say there’s no attraction between the two of you, then there’s no attraction between the two of you.”

“Great,” Roman said. “As long as we’re clear on that.”

“Totally clear,” Patton said. “One thing that’s not clear, though: how is this going to make game night awkward?”

“Well, with the way Virgil sprinted out this morning, I have a feeling he’s, uh, pretty embarrassed about what happened. Heteros tend to do that, you know, when anything kinda gay happens.”

“Heteros?” Patton asked disbelievingly. “Virgil? Straight? Would you like to borrow my glasses?”

“I think you need your prescription checked,” Roman said, rolling his eyes. Now that the topic had turned lighter, he made his way towards the dresser, since he really should put clothes on instead of just a bathrobe. “Have you seen the way he acts towards me? Every time he sees me, he gets, like, this look of fear in his eyes or something. And until we spent the whole night arguing about coin flip problems, he wouldn’t even be within like a yard of me. It’s like ‘no homo’ deluxe. I’m just the only gay he knows about, obviously, because of the theater gay stereotype, which is why he acts normal around you.”

“Listen, Roman, the way he acts around you is like...the total opposite of ‘no homo.’ If anyone is an oblivious straight around here, it’s clearly Logan.”

Roman pulled out a tank top and a floral print shirt to put over it. “Patton, nobody owns that many NASA shirts unless they’re gay or literally living on the International Space Station. You’ve clearly been deciev--wait, what? What do you mean Virgil acts like the opposite of ‘no homo’?”

Patton gave a knowing smirk, picked up the note he’d left for Roman that morning and waved it around a bit. “You said there’s no attraction between the two of you, so there’s no attraction, but I’m just saying there’s a reason why it was so easy for me to assume that you two were dating now. Well, besides the fact that you two were literally in bed together.”

“Are you trying to imply something?” Roman asked, pulling on a pair of skinny jeans.

“I don’t really imply things, being straightforward is usually the best bet, but if I was implying something, I’d probably be implying that we’re not the only useless gays who don’t know how to ask someone on a date. But I don’t imply things. So you definitely shouldn’t act upon subtext like that.”

“Very subtle,” Roman said. “But first off, My Chemical Bromance isn’t my type, second off, I 100% doubt he even likes me in a neighborly way, and third off, not everyone in the world is gay, Patton. And besides, four gays in neighboring dorms who are not part of the gay residential community? Don’t be ridiculous.”

“We are part of the gayest generation,” Patton said. “Only half of us identify as straight.”

“Well, there you go, looks like neither Logan nor Virgil are gay then, sorry.”

“That’s not how statistics works and you know it,” Patton said.

Roman raised his hands up in a mocking surrender. “You’re right, you’re right. If we use statistics, there’s even less of a chance all four of us are gay. 50% chance, it’s exactly like a coin flip problem, which means the chance that all four of us are gay…” Roman pulled out his phone and pulled up the calculator. “...a little over six percent. Which means super unlikely.”

Patton’s smug look had yet to be removed. “Bet?”

“The numbers are on my side.”

“I’m not confident in your math skills. Bet?”

“Fine. Sure. Fifty bucks says that one or both of our neighbors is straight, and it’s probably Virgil.”

“Fifty bucks it is then!” Patton said, cheerfully. “No outright asking them though. They have to volunteer the information. We don’t want to put them in a situation where, if they were gay, they’d lie because they’re uncomfortable.”

“Great,” Roman said. “Can’t wait to be fifty bucks richer.”

“Don’t count your chickens before they cross the road,” Patton said teasingly. “In the meantime though, you should talk to Virgil about last night, and resolve the awkwardness between you two. Game night is Wednesday, after all.”

“Yeah…” Roman said, flopping backwards onto his bed. “I need to come up with a way to do that first. And since we are on the topic, if something like that happens again with anybody else, would you mind terribly if I sleep on your bed for the night?”

“Not at all!” Patton said.

“Fantastic,” Roman said. “Hopefully I won’t need it, but thanks.”

Patton grabbed a sweater and put it on. Then, he turned back towards the door. “Have fun talking to Virgil. I’m gonna go find Logan.”

“Why?”

“I want to find out if he and Virgil are fighting.”

Roman made a noise of amusement. “You can’t force them to get along.”

“I’m gonna make them friends if it’s the last thing I do,” Patton said. “I will fight them! With friendship!”

“Okay Patton.”

“See you later. Good luck!”

“Same to you.”

Later we find her and her sisters in the Boggly woods. Vivian is admiring a necklace she found in the woods, while her sister Beldam asks her for the picture of the mustachioed man. Vivian reminds Beldam that she had taken the picture from her because it was too important for Vivian to hold on to. Beldam calls it all lies, and for a punishment of “losing” the picture, she confiscates the necklace Vivian was admiring. When in reality, we all know that Beldam lost it. Vivian begins to pout and cry. Mario and co. then walk passed them without them noticing, and continue on with their game. Beldam then finds that the picture was with her the whole time, and she just brushes it off. They look at the picture and feel like they’ve seen the man before. When Mario and co. Return, they battle the Shadow Sirens. Vivian of course is put in front so that she will take the most damage. Marilyn is in the middle, and of course Beldam is in the back. Vivian shyly and unsure of herself, begins to battle. As they begin to lose, Beldam blames it all on Vivian. Mario and co. win, and Beldam says to Marilyn and Vivian that it was their fault for losing, and she will punish them. We then see Vivian again in Twilight Town. Beldam is going over plans, and then asks Vivian for the “superbombomb”. Vivian frantically try’s to tell Beldam that she took it from her, as it was too important for Vivian to carry. Beldam blames Vivian for losing it (shocker) and she is forced to look for it, while Beldam and Marilyn rest in a nearby inn. Spoiler/recap on what has just happened to Mario: his body, identity, and friends have all been stolen by a devious monster that has been reeking havoc on the people of Twilight Town (turning them into pigs whenever the Creepy Steeple’s bell tolls). Mario is now just a shadow. As he heads back in the direction he came, he is stopped by the monster and forced to guess his name, Mario gets it wrong and is forced to battle the monster (but Mario cannot win, so he flees). He runs back to town, and finds Vivian sad and unsure of what to do. He searches in the grass and find the “superbombomb”. He hands it to Vivian and she is so overwhelmed with joy and appreciation, and asks his name, and Mario tells her that his identity has been stolen. Wondering about that, Mario then tells her all that has happened to him. She feels terrible for him, and decides to help him get his identity and body back. Mario insists that she doesn’t, but Vivian has her mind made up. Vivian tells him of her “veil” ability. She can bring him into the shadows and hide. She suggests using that ability to listen to the crows in the trees, they may know something about the monster’s name. They begin to try that, and finally they receive the info. that they need. The two travel back to “Creepy Steeple” and find a room with a parrot and a chest. Vivian takes Mario into the shadows using her “veil” ability, and the parrot reveals the monster’s name. Mario then opens the chest, and you receive the letter “p”. Vivian and Mario head back again and guess the monster’s name. Shocked, the monster runs back to “Creepy Steeple”, and Mario and Vivian follow after him. They find him (still as Mario) and his party says that they’ve got his back, realizing who she’s been helping (her enemy) Vivian bows out, and shadow Mario is forced to fight on his own. After a while in the battle, Vivian appears. She tells Mario, that she doesn’t care if he’s supposed to be her enemy, she tells him that he’s the only person who has ever treated her with such kindness. Her mind was made up, she would repay him, and leave her sisters behind. They fight, and win, and Mario regains his identity and body, and friends. The monster flees, and Mario’s friends are dumbfounded as to what happened, Mario explains and they apologize for following the monster. They then worriedly ask about Vivian who was their “enemy” Vivian acts timidly, and Mario vouches for her. Vivian is filled with glee, and the others trust Mario’s word. She fights alongside Mario for the rest of the game being a BIG help. And finally, at the end of the game, when Mario is about to depart on a ship with princess Peach, all of Mario’s new friends from the game say their goodbyes. In Vivian’s goodbye she is very shy and says that there’s something she wanted to tell him for a while the she lo… and then she decides not to tell him, and tells Peach and Mario that they make a great couple. The poor girl, in love with Mario it seems, who wouldn’t be though, am I right 😂 everyone returns to their homes, and she decides to live in Twilight Town. Goombella informs us that Vivian and her sisters made-up and promised to be nice to her. And that’s the last we see of Vivian.

Moveset

Attacks/moveset from origin game

A : Shade Fist - Vivian punches enemies with one fist bringing flames to them, and causing slight damage

B : Infatuate - Vivian poses cutely right next to an enemy making them confused for a short period of time (sort of like Zero Suit Samus’ stun gun or Jiggly Puff singing enemies to sleep)

Down B : Veil - Vivian brings herself into the shadows and hides.  The time in the shadows will be limited since it would be unfair to hide the entire time.  Maybe if she’s there too long she’ll be put right back up on the playing field, or she will begin to receive an increase in damage.

Side Taunt : Vivian’s Appeal - in the game Paper Mario Thousand Year door, characters can choose to appeal to the audience during a battle.  Doing this increases star power. Vivian will raise her hands in the air with excitement, and give us an adorable smile.

Note : Vivian does not have many moves in her origin game since she is only 1 of Mario’s many buddies, so these next moves will have to be inferred.

Attacks/Moveset Not From Origin Game

L + down B : (This is a combo move I made just for Vivian) Vivian grabs nearby enemy and pulls them into the shadows.  Instead of this nifty trick helping others as it does in Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, it will actually bring damage to the person dragged into the shadows. (this will be a combo move that will have to be timed to a tee).

Up B : Since Vivian does not jump, she stretches, I took for account of this possible move.  Like an elastic band, she’ll wack enemies directly above her.

Side B : Just like many other magical characters in smash, she will charge her magic, and then release it. She will first hold down Side B to charge her magic.  And then she will release that charged-up magic on an enemy in range of her, and on the same level as her, enveloping them in flames.  Kind of like her attack “fiery jinx” in Paper Mario Thousand Year Door.

Side A : When Mario first meets Vivian she is looking for the “superbombomb”, and when she finds it, it no longer works… or so we think.  I thought maybe this move could be like Duck Hunt’s can that explodes.  Vivian will throw the superbombomb with side A, and it will explode only if it lands directly on or by someone.

Y or jump :  Vivian cannot jump, as I stated before.  I don’t see this as a handicap though, this feature of hers could very well bring her an advantage.  She could stretch above, and move to a higher platform. She would stretch higher by how long you hold the Y button. She’ll only be able to stretch to a certain extent though, seeing as it would be unfair to stretch too high.  She could even attack enemies on higher ledges while stretched.

Recovery or up B : just like how many fighters have to time their recoveries, Vivian will have to time hers.  She will start stretching as she falls off a platform and grab on to the ledge.  The amount of her stretching will have to be limited, otherwise this would be unfair.

Possible Stage Ideas:

Twilight Town : this is the place where Vivian first joins Mario’s party, and is the place she decides to live after her journey with Mario. It was hard to decide where in Twilight town the stage would take place, but I ultimately chose the section where the Twilighters live.  In the section of houses and buildings, there could be Twilighters in the background.  In the music, there could be the Creepy Steeple’s bell tolling every now and then, turning the Twilighters into pigs. The trees will be inhabited by crows that will react to what’s happening on stage.  (In the game Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, you can only know what the crows are saying by using Vivian’s veil ability).  Maybe if Vivian uses her veil ability under a certain tree, she will unlock audio of what the crows are saying.  The buildings and houses could be interactive as well.  You can jump and walk atop them as you please.

Final Smash Possibilities :

The Three Shadow Sirens Unite - When Vivian obtains the Smash ball, her two sisters (Marilyn and Beldam) will appear.  Whoever is caught in her final smash will feel the wrath and ultimate power of the Shadow Sirens.  Beldam will freeze the captured enemy/ or enemies, Marilyn will then strike them with lightning, and finally, Vivian will give the final blow enveloping them with fire.  If the person caught in the Shadow Sirens wrath had enough damage prior to this, they will instantly be killed.  Also, just like how Peach’s final smash has music, I thought Vivian’s could have music as well.  The music I chose was the Shadow Siren’s battle theme.  

Overall, Vivian is a fantastic fighter.  She is very powerful, and quite adorable.  She has a charm that no one can deny.  If she was put into the smash roster, I’m sure she’d be an instant hit among all ages, and both genders.

Henry thought for a moment and then he chuckled a bit. He decided to ask the most obvious question, because no one ever quite knows how the story called life ends until they find out first hand. Everybody including Henry knows that life is full of surprises. If there was ever a moment where a person could see every surprise foretold, life for that person would be no fun and would be a bore.  So Henry asked obviously: “What’s it like, to die like this and have the ending of my story already written?" Death looked at Henry, smiled a bit and replied. “Helen Keller once said ‘Death is no more than the passing from one room into another…’ It’s really simple. Yours is a relatively painless death in itself. Your death is quick and easy, so much you won’t feel it and won’t even notice. It’s like going to sleep…” “Dying is like coming to the end of a long novel--you only regret it if the ride was enjoyable and left you wanting more.” mentioned Henry as he stared towards the TV, which wasn’t even on. “Jerome P. Crabb understood the concept of death all too well. It almost scares me to think he even could say that without ruining the surprise.” Death said to Henry. “Henry, Death is a normal part of life, but you already know that.” Death continued on, “It’s part of the cycle of life and death which affects every living being. From birth to death, it’s just like this.” He snaps his fingers. “It gives me no pleasure taking people’s souls for a living, but it’s a job just like every other. I don’t get paid, I have no benefits, and there is really nothing special about it. I just do the job I was destined to do from the very beginning. There is no such thing as fun when it comes to what I do.” Henry got up as soon as Death stopped talking, walks into the kitchen, and opens the cabinet next to the refrigerator. He pulls out a full bottle of Jack Daniels and then reaches up into another cabinet for two shot glasses. Making his way back into the living room with both shot glasses and the bottle, he puts them on the coffee table and opens the bottle. He pours one shot for Death, one for himself, closes the bottle, and sits back in his recliner. Both Henry and Death raised their shot glasses for a toast, in which Henry proceeded to say: “As Walter Scott once said ‘Death--the last sleep? No, it is the final awakening.’ So to this I say, to the road beyond and whatever may lie in my way after I pass.” “Let us drink to you and your success in life. For you, Henry, have mastered the art of life and death,” Death said. So Death and Henry both downed their own shots and then put their shot glasses on the table. Death got up, stretched, and looked at his watch. “Well, Henry it’s time to for me to go. I want to personally thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Not everyone is that well-mannered like you are and I usually get the cold shoulder from most people. You are truly a wonderful person.” “You’re welcome and thank you.” Henry replied. Death walked to Henry, shook his hand, and laid his hand on Henry’s shoulder. When the clock on the wall struck 11:00pm at that same moment, Henry’s eyes closed and sat there in his chair without moving as if he was asleep. He would never wake up or move after that ever again. Death turned and walked through the door as if nothing was there. He stood out on Henry’s front doorstep, put his hands in his pockets, and walked down the stairs to the street. He kept on walking ‘til he faded away into the night… It wasn’t until Wednesday morning, when his son unlocked the door, walked in, and found Henry’s lifeless body in his recliner. His body was picked up and stored until a month later, when his surviving family held his funeral in Oakwood Cemetery. He was definitely remembered by all his co-workers, family, and friends. Everybody shared their own stories about him and there was nothing bad said about him. Death, in his usual attire, showed up and stood afar off to watch the funeral. Death watched the funeral, clasped his hands together, and briefly shed a tear as he walked away silently without a sound.

*This is just a work of fiction. The name used is purely coincidental.* Took me 3 whole days to write this story. Got the idea from watching "Dead like Me" and "Being Human." This is my first short story, so cut me some slack.

Today, I want to talk about time.  I know, boring subject, but there is a purpose for this topic.  I am not going to talk about time too much on this post, except for when it comes to setting up your planner.

How much time do we really have?

We all know what time is and how valuable it is in a day.  I feel that if I have a lot of time on my hands, I am not being productive when I watch a video or playing a game on my tablet. I like to be productive, as I am sure many of you do.  I am not saying don’t play games or watch videos.  Find a set time in the day/night to do that sort of thing.  This is part of your scheduling.  I do not write it down in my planner, but I make a conscious effort to note that in my head. 

Experts say that went you go to bed each night, turn off the screens.  What does that mean?  It simply means turn off your computer, turn off your phones and tablets, and do not play the television all night.  If you cannot do that, at least put them in the next room.  If you put them in the next room, you now have to physically get up to answer any texts or comments on your posts on Facebook, for example.  I know if I have to do that, I do not want to get up, so, I save it for the next morning.

For instance, I turn off my phone.  Not because the experts say that I have to, but I have a phone that constantly needs charging.  It is a Samsung Note 4 and on its last lap around the mobile bin. I will get into my issues with my phone at a later time and hopefully, I can change my phone soon. Next, there is my desktop computer.  I keep it on all the time, except when Windows 10 updates without my knowledge, and it automatically turns off the computer.  I have the computer downstairs because where I really want my computer, which is in the next room, my nephew and his girlfriend are living there until they can find an apartment.  My laptop is powered down for the moment and in my backpack for when I want to work in my room or decide to go to a coffee shop or the library to work. Those are examples of turning off the screens.

I have a flaw that I am working on.

One problem that I still have is my Ipad.  I carry it to bed with me.  I look at my messages, play games, read articles, and watch YouTube videos.  This is a bad example of turning off the screens.  When I don’t do these things that I mentioned, I find myself walking over to my Ipad, unlocking it, and just let the light from the screen put me to sleep.  It is my 5 minute night light, which I am trying to correct right now.

My tips for scheduling:

In addition to powering down your screens, which is more of a “how to get a restful night of sleep” than “How to schedule” tip.  I have these other tips:

Get a good planner. 

I have I ready mentioned in Part 1 of Planning for Beginners 2020 Edition, steps for buying that first planner if you do not already have one.  I have watched plenty of YouTube videos prior to writing that post, to make sure that I was pointing the reader in the right direction.  This is sort of part 2, and I apologize for not writing a proper post for this second part.  What I have learned from my experiences and watching those videos is get a planner that is right for you and how you plan.

No two people can have the exact type of planning and planners.  I have mentioned that I have 4 different planners.  One is for my business, for my personal life, for my budget, and I am trying out bullet journaling, after a failed attempt of it for 2019.  The planners are all from Erin Condren, but I am open to trying new ones.  This is the brand I have chosen for me.  There is also the Happy Planner, Moleskine, The Simplified planner, Mead has a planner, Emily Ley, and Carpe Diem, to name a few thousand.  It seems that everyone has a planner to sell.

Have a “Think Tank” session. 

Choose a day to think about what you want to do and accomplish for 2020.  You do not have to take the whole day, but take a good chuck out of your say to set up your system and your schedule.  Place standing dates and dates (such as doctor’s appointment) that were scheduled in 2019 and place them in your planner. 

So, decorate or not decorate it according to your tastes.  Make a schedule that you are comfortable with.  I have 4 planners, and I am fine with that concept.  I know others who have 8 or 5.  There are some people who stick with one paper planner and have a digital planner. Do what makes you happy. 

Take ideas from people and make them your own.  You do not have to make an exact copy of their setup.  Before you begin, ask yourself, how can I make this work for me?  Use a scratch piece of paper, and write out a budget on what you are willing to spend and what you can spend.  Next, draw or write out your sections, such as Home, Business, Budget, and personal.

If you can, have a separate budget book. 

Yes, that is what the Erin Condren Monthly deluxe planner is for with me.  This is not a new concept.  I adopted this technique from Shay McMillian, AKA Shay Budgets.  What I like about this planner is that there are notebook pages inside of each monthly section, where you can write down your notes, your income, your expenses, your sinking funds (I am still learning about those), and your financial goals.  You do not have to go all out like me.  I am testing this system for the first time.  What was not working for me was using Excel for a budget, and placing it in my main planner.

Business/Work Planner

Also if you can, have a separate business planner (or work planner if you still have a corporate job).  When I planned out My Ambiance Life and decided to talk about business ventures, I did not realize that I had a whole audience of readers who were both entrepreneurs and corporate workers, or corporate workers ONLY.  So this tip is for you too.  Many times, for example, we often find ourselves not only placing appointments in our personal planners dental appointments for our children, but that “all-inclusive” staff meeting from XYZ company, or meeting with a client, who wants to do 14 fittings of a wedding dress that she is not sure of in the first place into that planner.  Why not have a separate planner?  Even better if you can leave on at the office and carry the other one around.

5. Putting it all together.

Find a way to coordinate your system.  Make a conscious effort to look at it every day.  Decorate if you want to.  I know of some people who go wild with the decorating and some who take on a minimalist approach to it.  I am in the middle.  If I feel like it, I will decorate it.  I do not make a habit of it.  I like stickers, which goes back to my days of making scrapbooks.
