i think izutsumis gender/sexuality is entirely secondary in priorities to her body dysphoria. she has a lot of learning and acceptance 2 do before that kind of self discovery is on the docket and in my mind eschewing gender on some level is part of that. get sillay

WONDAHALLOWEEN (where this card is from) has Tsukasa getting hurt following a stunt Rui has him perform - leading to Rui kind of shutting himself off from the others and being a lot more careful and reserved in his actions, and in Tsukasa's Sekai the cat plushie represents Rui and the dog plushie is Tsukasa :) and throughout the entire event the dog and cat plushie are seen arguing and the cat plushie is seen crying (with Kaito often comforting it) until Rui and Tsukasa make up in the real world... and given that the Sekai is primarily Tsukasa's feelings but i assume the plushies that represent the WxS cast are somewhat linked to their human counterparts, we can assume that the dog reflects Tsukasa's feelings (being hurt and frustrated that Rui won't communicate and has shut himself off) and the cat is Rui's (sad that he hurt someone he cares so deeply for and afraid of being abandoned again) and uhhhhh yeah. im normal.

OK LETS MAKE A LIST

1. First of all the most obvious one. They’ve been building up this whole relationship since season 1. It would be really weird for them to just suddenly abandon it.

2. Related point, but Mike’s character. You’re telling me he suddenly went from loving Will with his whole heart and making everything about Will to just suddenly ignoring him? The only explanation is internalised homophobia (you make me feel things I believe are wrong so I’m just gonna seperate myself from you so I don’t feel that) nothing else makes sense.

3. It’s pretty much confirmed that Will likes Mike with that painting scene so 50% of the way there!

4. The painting scene itself. Surely at some point Mike will talk to El about it and it will be revealed that everything Will said was just coming from him and not El. Then Mike will hopefully go and kiss him. Please.

5. Once again the painting scene, but Mike’s reaction this time. When Will was talking about it, Mike had the biggest most lovesick expression on his face ever. And then when Will said El “commissioned it” (I was crying so hard like he put so much effort in and he just sacrificed it to push El and Mike closer even though it was killing him) Mike’s face just dropped instantly. It was incredibly obvious he wanted Will to say he made it.

6. The season 3 ending. Bruh when El said I love you and kissed Mike, he did not look happy. He didn’t look angry or anything, he looked CONFUSED. as in, why am I not happy??? confused. I’ll tell you why you dumb oblivious fuck it’s bc you’re not in love with her you’re in love with Will.

7. Mike’s speech was basically all lies (I’m gonna make a seperate post about it bc it would take too long) AND he had to be pushed into saying it. So. Many. Times. Will had to talk him into it even when El was literally DYING. He has failed to say I Love You to El every single time he’s actually looking her in the eyes (even when she’s literally explicitly asking him to say it). Why? BC HES LYING!!!

8. That last shot of s4 with El standing in front of three couples. Jopper, jancy (idk about these guys), and BYLER. they’re always paired together in everything and what would be the point of not to make them a couple? They don’t do this with any one else who wasn’t dating or had previously dated, like Lucas and Dustin, so they’re not just “best friends”.

9. All the tension. Lip staring, lovesick smiles, longing glances, really just them checking each other out all the time. Either Finn and Noah have something to share with the class or they’re being told to act like that.

10. Once again, we know the ships have been planned since s1. El was literally supposed to die at the end of that season. M*leven being endgame doesn’t make sense. Plus most of their kisses before s3, Millie had to talk them into.

11. (Lol) The costume design. Are you telling me it’s a coincidence they literally wear nothing but blue and yellow for the entirety of s4? Blue and yellow meet in the west???

12. That part with the “he’ll come crawling back to you” with El about Mike. And did he? No! It took him so long to apologise. HOWEVER. Literally the next episode he literally does that with Will after their fight. BIT FRUITY OF YOU MIKE!!!

13. Once again, the I love you fight. Mike is was SO OBVIOUS what she wanted you to say. He “didn’t want to say it bc he were scared it would make losing El more painful”? He was going to lose her BECAUSE he didn’t say I Love You. So why exactly can you not say it???

Byler will be canon. Do not lose hope guys.

What are your favorite things about the ship: Uhhh probably I love Lucius deeply and he deserves two boyfriends, and Fang is cute.

Unpopular opinion: They are like Steddy Hands if Steddy Hands didn't fucking suck (i.e. fruity boyfriend who's new to pirating, seasoned pirate leather daddy boyfriend with a big beard, and toxic masculinity blackbeard simp boyfriend). They deserve the popularity that Steddy Hands has been so unfairly gifted I'm so fucking serious. This is also my unpopular opinion about Stede/Ed/Jack btw but for different reasons. Why is Steddy Hands the most popular thruple? I can name at least three OFMD thruples that are both more interesting and closer to being canon. But this complaint does apply to Flute most because they have the most vibes about it. The only problem is that they're less batshit but based on the Steddy hands art I'm seeing that's not what people like about the ship is it? summary: newly arrived in madripoor, sharon attempts to strike a business deal with the reader. (set sometime between civil war and infinity war)

The club was dimly lit. Shadows moved in the colourful neon lights, bodies dancing to the sound of the newest bass-filled techno song. It was impossible to move around without jostling at least a couple of party-goers. They didn’t seem to mind either way, too drunk or high to really notice their surroundings. So, Sharon pushed on, gradually making her way to the bar. Subtly she attracted the barkeeper's attention, muttering the code word she had been given beforehand. With a nod, the burly man put two drinks down in front of her and told her to stay put. He disappeared without another word.  

While she waited, Sharon eyed the bottle in front of her. Its transparent glass revealed a strangely coloured liquid that seemed to change its hue depending on how the club lights hit it. Letters of a foreign language adorned the label, the paper of which was soaked from the condensed water that slowly ran down the side of the cold bottle.  

„It's an expensive drink. Very hard to acquire, “a voice quietly spoke up beside her. The blonde turned her head slightly to face its owner, eyeing the newcomer as they sat down.  

You continued, unfazed by her scrutiny.  

„In fact, I have to import it myself. It’s very costly, so I tend to reserve it for special occasions. “  

She cocked her head to the side, face not betraying any emotions.  

„And you think this will be such an occasion? “  

You simply smiled in answer, picking up the second bottle and holding it out to her.  

„I sure hope so. “  

Taking your cue, the blonde clinked her own bottle to yours, waiting for you to take the first sip before trying the liquid herself. The drink felt smooth in her mouth, tasting both fruity and bitter-sweet, with slight hints of alcohol underneath. You looked at her expectantly, and she nods, setting the bottle back down.  

„Not bad. Not sure if I'd go through all that trouble for this drink. But not bad,” she delivered her assessment with a polite smile.     

„Your honesty is appreciated. I can get you something to drink that’s more to your taste if you like,” you raised your hand to wave down the barkeeper, but the blonde stopped you, with a hand on your arm.

“That’s very kind of you but unnecessary. I'd rather just get down to business,” she told you, releasing your arm again. 

Slowly, you lowered your hand, regarding her with a calculating gaze. There wasn't much you could read from her expression as she kept her professional mask. Typical ex-government agents. You had run-ins with your fair share of them. They usually weren't much fun. Usually weren't as pretty as her either. Suppressing a sigh, you shrugged and took a swig from your drink.  

“Fine," you let out breathily, nodding at her, "I was told you had a business proposal for me. So go ahead. Propose.”  

The other woman wasted no time. Sharon launched into her explanation, going over the plans she had come up with. You listened patiently, letting her talk uninterrupted. She laid out her idea for a high-scale art heist. Nothing you hadn’t done before, definitely doable. She took out a tablet, showing you the piece in question. It was a portrait of a woman, sitting under a tree and looking out to a distant mountain, surrounded by fields of flowers. You were familiar with the work. Very beautiful. Very expensive.  

“The painting will be a part of a special exhibition in Tokyo this week, " Carter explained, swiping on her device to pull up a satellite picture, "Security will be tight, but less so than it would be in the museum. I know a guy who can get us the plans of the exhibition hall and details on the protocols. You would provide the forgery, of course. We’ll quickly swap out the portraits and transport the real one back to Madripoor. I already have a handful of potential buyers willing to pay astronomical prices for this piece. We’ll split our winnings 50-50.”  

You traced the grain of the wooden counter as you thought her plan over with a hum.

“That's a pretty tight schedule. My forgeries take some time,” you pointed out. The blonde remained unimpressed.  

“I've heard stories of you painting a Van Gogh, a Monet, or even a Botticelli in two days. This will be nothing compared to that.”  

“I see, you've done your research," you said with the slightest hint of approval, "Then you'll also know that I don’t usually work with newbies. It’s risky and I have a reputation to uphold.”  

You paused to let your words settle in, taking another sip of your colourful drink. You could feel Sharon’s gaze on you, as you pretended to carelessly look around the club.  

“I have a counteroffer," you went on, keeping your tone light, "You'll handle circumventing the security and selling the portrait. I’ll provide the fake and organize transportation. I get 80 percent of the money as compensation for the risks I'm taking for trusting new blood. In return, if this goes well, we can do more business together in the future and I’ll make sure to recommend you to a couple of my associates. Really get your business going.”  

You couldn’t hide your smile, as you saw her mask slip, a discontent frown settling on her face.  

“So, I'll only get 20 percent despite being the one doing most of the dirty work? I might as well be doing this whole thing on my own-"  

You held up a finger, stopping whatever else she was going to say.  

“Oh, but you can’t. Because your whole operation depends on me making that forgery for you,” you smirk. You saw the way her jaw set in irritation. She knew you were right. You were invaluable to her plan. Didn’t mean she had to like it. Fidgeting with the cold drink in front of her, she made up her mind.  

“45-55 split, and you get to choose the next target should we cooperate again.”  

“I thought that was a given," you dismissed her offer casually, "I can offer you 30 percent.”  

“Absolutely not. 40-60, or I'll look for someone else to help me.”  

You let out a laugh, shaking your head in genuine amusement.  

“Good luck finding someone. There’s no one even close to being as good as I am. If there were, that’s where you’d be,” you leaned back in your chair, “Besides, I'm being generous for even considering working with you. Folks around here aren’t overly fond of newcomers, especially ones that still smell of big government.”  

The two of you held each other's gaze for a moment. Her face was set in determination, eyebrows drawn together as she thought about her rebuttal. You had to admit you admired her stubbornness and resolution. Undoubtedly something she had learned from that great-aunt of hers. Your little staring also contest gave you time to reassess your offer.  

After all, you had done your research on her as well. And you weren't stupid. You knew working with her wouldn't be as great a risk as you made it out to be. She might be new, but she was skilled, and she obviously knew her stuff. Her previous training certainly came in handy too. All she needed were the right connections, and you were sure it was only a matter of time until she made a name for herself here in Madripoor. When that time came, you wanted her to be an ally. Or, possibly, even something more. You never could resist a pretty face.

Mind made up, you set down your drink and held out your hand to the blonde who eyed it with caution.  

“Here’s my last offer. I'll agree to your terms. You get 40 percent of the money. I'll guarantee to do business with you in the future and put in a good word for you, so you can establish yourself around here," you listed off with a grin, never breaking eye contact, “In return, you'll buy me another drink and let me take you out some time.”  

“Take me out?” Sharon repeated with a raised eyebrow. Resting her chin on the knuckles of her hand, she regarded you with interest. For a moment, you admired the way the neon lights danced across her face.

“On a date,” you clarified, “Unless you don’t want to. It's not a deal-breaker. I'd also settle for two drinks instead.”  

The blonde smiled in intrigue, leaning forward to take your hand in hers. Her grip was firm as you shook on your deal.  

“One drink and a date, it is.”

Hi everyone.

If you’re reading this, you must have been sticking around for about five years.*

I want to express my gratitude for everyone that has supported and encouraged me over this time.

Thank you.

I’ve said it many many times before, but I didn’t expect the simple game I made to receive so much attention. Because of that, many interesting things have happened, and now I can even spend my time making another game.

It seems both of us received a lot of happiness from this occurrence.

If it’s okay, I would like to keep striving to do things that make both of us happy.

*Since the Undertale demo released in 2013, the game has really existed for 7 years. It’s already been more than 25% of my life…

Deltarune

I will make another.

I am making a game called “Deltarune.” It is the second game in the Undertale series.

The game will be released in many “Chapters,” the first of which I released two years ago on Halloween. Since that time, I’ve been working hard to figure out the rest of the game.

However, it’s a game that’s much harder to make than Undertale.

Graphics are more complicated and several times more involved.

Systems are more complicated.

Exposes the weak points of my creative and artistic ability.

Plot is much harder to tie together (more characters, more important locations).

Significantly more content than Undertale in one playthrough (especially cutscenes).

I have only made one game ever.

Unlike Undertale, this is the type of game that would normally have many designers working on each aspect of the game.

A story writer, a composer, an audio director, a map designer, a battle designer, a minigame designer, and an overall director. Instead, all of those roles end up handled by me.

The good news is that a few months ago, I completed a significant milestone regarding the game’s design. I completed readable outlines for every chapter in the game, including first-pass dialogue for almost all the cutscenes, examples of the music, etc.

Although certain details are still hazy, the flow of the game and all major events and battles that take place are now clear.

In summary, I largely spent the past two years writing, composing, designing, and drawing. However, that’s not the whole story.

We had actually attempted to develop the game since the time too. Development started around March 2019 and a 99% work was spent on investigating engines alternate to GameMaker, which I used for Chapter 1.

Without getting into the details, I decided a few months ago to go back to GameMaker after all. It still felt like the best fit for the project. So using Chapter 1 as a base, we’ve started creating Chapter 2 since May 2020.

A lot of progress has been made since that time. I believe we can complete this chapter, content-wise, before the end of the year (not accounting for translation, bugtesting, and porting).

I feel very confident. And the strange thing is, even though we ended up using the original engine, I don’t regret the lost time, either. Not only was I still busy designing the game, but during that long period, I was able to think of many ideas that make the game’s story and characters better.

I’m glad that I’m making the Deltarune that I have now and that we are making healthy progress.

Deltarune Status Estimate

■ Chapter 2 (04.15.20 – 08.13.20)

Phase 1: Design

Main Design: 100% (dialogue, etc.)

Initial Setup: 100% (stuff involved setting up people to make the game, adding debug tools, documentation, etc.)

Phase 2: Implementation (05.01.20 ~ 08.13.20)

Art: 90%

Cutscenes: 80% (90% are started, needs 2nd pass)

Bullet Patterns: 70% (enemies are mostly completed, bosses are about 40% done, needs 2nd pass)

Non-Bullet Battle Elements: 30% (Some ACTs are done and enemies are fightable, but interactive ACTs need to be completed and polished and the bosses aren’t programmed outside of bullet patterns)

Audio: 80%

Maps: ??% most are started or placeholder, most need 2nd pass. NPC interactions are completed in all spots where written.

Other: 65%

Phase 3: Finishing

Balancing: 0%

Bugfixing: 0%

Translation: 0%

Porting: 0%

(Honestly, a lot of stuff FEELS like 80% to me, but the truth is that what’s there is quite rough now. Polish ends up taking a lot of time, so the real actual time value may be around 50% done…? We’ll see what happens. It’ll be a lesson for everybody.)

(These numbers can be somewhat deceptive though. My true design style is to reach the moment where we have to make something, then suddenly think of something different at the last minute. This is always how it’s been with me and my work. It feels like no matter how much I plan, everything comes down to what I think of at the last second…)

Team and Disability

You may have noticed from my phrasing, but yes, there is a team helping me create the game. Other than me, there are about three active team members working day-to-day, with a few other people pitching in from time to time.

Their roles of the main members are overall content implementation and organization, bullet pattern implementation (part-time), and art (Temmie). Other than designing, I still have the role of system programmer.

I’m extremely grateful to have a team helping me carry out my design especially because of my disabilities, which have also made development more difficult.

Although I have long suffered from wrist and hand pain, about five months ago my wrist was the worst it’s ever been. I could not play the piano, use the mouse, and barely could use the keyboard. I navigated everything through voice to text.

Through weightlifting, exercise, and various equipment I have been able to somewhat increase the stamina of my wrist to an extent. Various solutions have included trackball mice for each hand, using voice to text whenever possible, using a foot pedal to click the mouse, etc.

Now I can use the mouse and keyboard for a certain amount each day provided I take frequent breaks. I wish I could work without stopping. Once the world situation improves I would really like to take physical therapy again and/or investigate surgery to repair my wrist.

Future Plans

Once we finish Chapter 2, I would like to use it as the base to create future chapters from. After gaining experience from this chapter, I think making future chapters will be easier.

Part of me wonders if we could make the game faster if we increased the size of the team and did something insane like create multiple chapters in parallel. However, another part of me understands that, adding more people doesn’t guarantee that the game will be created faster if it’s not done properly. I’m already just barely avoiding becoming a bottleneck on development even with a team of this size, due to my physical limitations.

To that end, I am interested in making a list of people that could potentially help me make the game. I’m not 100% sure if I’m going to ask anyone to help, but I think if I could find just 1 person that works well with me, it’s worth asking.

Chapter 2 is proceeding at a good pace, so if we do take anyone on, it will probably only be for Chapter 3 onward. So please understand that anything you send in may not have an immediate result.

I usually start making songs by playing the piano and singing. An important step after this is to take this basic outline and transcribe it into melodies and chords. Though there are not too many remaining songs to transcribe, it would still help my wrist to have someone else start this process for me. Although I know many musicians, I’m sheepish to ask for help to them, because the main role is actually just to help me compose my own music…

Helpful qualities:

Good at transcription.

Can stand listening to me sing.

Optional: can use an old version of Fruity Loops.

Bullet Pattern Programming (Part-Time)

I’m looking for someone to help me program bullet patterns into the game. These people will work from text and visual designs to create fun battles that match the feeling of the game. I already have one person helping with this, but I think a second person would help a lot. You have to be able to use Gamemaker Studio 2 to manipulate objects on the screen / okay with using pre-existing scripts to accomplish this.

Helpful qualities:

Sense of fun and understanding of player perspective and gameplay balance. This aspect is [many times] more important than programming ability.

Reliable.

Able to make patterns based off of visual/text instructions.

Fine working with a poorly made battle system.

Able to sprite bullets.

Good visual / timing sense.

Minigame Programming (Part-Time)

There are a few minigames and small interactive events in the game, which appear in and outside of battles. These could take any kind of form… who knows what I’m thinking! Have you made a game before?

Helpful qualities:

Same sense of humor as me.

Some level of spriting ability is useful.

You have to have made a game that is fun.

Ability to work together with me.

Cutscene Programming (Part-Time)

Besides the battles, the largest amount of content in the game is definitely the cut scenes. You will have to understand Gamemaker Studio 2, but the majority of the work is simply using a scripting system that I created to make characters move around the screen. The most important quality you can have here is not programming ability but the ability to efficiently use the system in order to create scenes with a good sense of humor, timing, and emotion.

I’d strongly prefer to hire someone I know to do this because it involves the story. So I most likely won’t hire anyone else.

Helpful qualities:

Can take text instructions and impart a proper sense of timing, humor, and weight to them.

Fine working with a custom scripting system (or smart enough to make something better that makes the game easier to make).

Art (Part-Time)

Sprite art—Temmie has already drawn a massive amount of art for the game, and continues to do so. And I actually already have a few other artists that have helped me that I’m more than happy to keep working with if things become more overwhelming. So currently I actually don’t need any more artists.

However, personally, I’d really like to build up a portfolio of available pixel artists and even concept artists. It’s not as if this is the only game I will make during my life. Anyone chosen for this game needs to be able to match the style of the game, but I’m interested in seeing people with different styles as well. Knowing that I have different options can open my mind up to different creative pathways.

Helpful qualities:

Can take bad looking sketches and turn them into art that looks good (magic).

Don’t mind if your work gets completely drawn over or thrown out.

Anyone that can draw cute or cool poses is good.

Uninterested in seeing people that have an art style outside of the scope of the game.

Write (Full-Time)

Someone needs to transform into a new wrist for me.

Helpful qualities:

Flexible.

Doesn’t hurt.

Musical sense.

The only other kind of person I might hire would be a single jack-of-all-trades type that can do any sort of things such as cutscenes, bullets, or even system programming, with a good degree of visual flair. 99 Drunk Balloons

Okay, so look.

Kara’s not, like, a prude when it comes to alcohol. She’s down for sneaking a nip of Alex’s whiskey, if only to laugh at her sister’s indignant squawking when she spots Kara’s plunder. She’s cool to drink ridiculous, fruity nonsense with Nia, and to crack open a beer with Clark after choring (read: heckling him from the porch with Lois) on the farm. She’s especially fond of wine with Lena, the way her eyes get brighter and her laughs louder and her lips wine-stained and irresistible- not that Kara is really all that resistant to those lips, anyway…

So yeah, Kara’s no teetotaler. She can handle her alcohol, no problem.

Obviously.

Alien booze, however… she doesn’t have a ton of experience with that. She’s only ever really tried it the one time, and Mon-El had given her the strongest possible shot (like an asshole), and the resulting awful hangover had kinda soured her to the whole thing.

But Lucy is in town for the night, and she’s managed to smuggle not only herself and Vasquez but a bottle of alien booze out of the desert base, and she’s so proud of herself for it that Kara knows that the gig is up before it’s even cracked open.

 

Lena’s stuck at work, because… something. Kara didn’t- she was paying attention, okay? It’s just that none of the words sounded like real words. But the gist of it was that Lena’s not coming. Which is cool, she’s busy and important and she’s always trying so hard to be everywhere for everyone else that Kara doesn’t have it in her to be upset. Even when it’s, like, super lame.

Ha! Super lame!

“What was that, Kara?” Lucy asks with a devilish grin.

“Nothing. I’m just funny,” Kara informs her, taking another (less than) dainty sip of her drink.

“But are you funny on purpose?” Alex muses.

“Everything I do is on purpose,” Kara sniffs, promptly spilling her drink across the table. A bit fuzzy, but still clear enough to feel the weight of stifled giggles and knowing smirks, Kara rights her empty glass and nods. “See? I was finished with that.”

“Oh my god, she’s wasted,” Nia cackles, delighted.

“I am not!” Kara shouts, instantly shushed by her giggling friends. “I am soberly perfect.” Kara’s brow crinkles, and her head tips to the side. “Oh, wait, no…”

“Oh, honey,” Alex coos at her, pulling Kara snug against her side. Kara briefly considers shrugging her off, but being cuddled is like, her favorite thing in the world, so she decides to roll with it. “Where’s your wife?”

Kara huffs loudly. “She’s not my wife.”

“Not yet,” Lucy says. “What is it, three more weeks?”

“Four,” Kara corrects with what is definitely not her ‘dopey Lena smile’, shut up, Alex. “That’s why she’s stuck at work, I think. Doesn’t wanna worry about stuff before the wedding. Except for, like, the wedding. Hey, d’you think I could get her to do the Cupid Shuffle with me?”

“Only if it’s horizontal,” Lucy says seriously. Kara nods thoughtfully at this.

Alex snorts wine out her nose.

 

The night continues, the drinks keep flowing, and now they’re all laughing and no one seems to really know why, exactly, but they also can’t stop.

Kara’s butt is vibrating, currently, which is at least a small part of why she’s laughing, because it tickles and oh. Oh! It’s her phone! She fishes it out with no small degree of difficulty.

“Kara’s pants! How may I direct your call?” she chirps.

There’s a soft laugh in her ear. “Hey, love. Are you having fun?”

“Lena! We’re having the most fun of anyone! Alex spat wine everywhere, and Nia might be- yup, she’s asleep. Nia! But yes! Hi! Hello! How is your work going?”

Lena snorts. “It was fine, I’m done now, just about to get in the car and head home.”

“Yaaaaaaay!”

“Have you been drinking a little?”

“Nope! I’ve been drinking a lot,” Kara says with a grin.

“Do you want me to come pick you up on my way?”

Kara positively beams. “Heck yeah, please! Vasquez left, and Nia is asleep and Lucy said something about ‘paratrooping’ that made Alex all red and spit more wine…”

Another snort. “Alright, I’m on my way. You’re at Alex’s, right?”

“Yup! Oh hey! I didn’t tell you the best part!”

“What’s that?”

“I get to see you!”

There’s a huff of what Kara knows after several years to be fondness. Or exasperation. Really they’re one and the same, in her experience. “Oh, lord. You’re a flirty drunk, aren’t you?”

“I have no idea! Am I? And is it working, because I would not mind seeing a boob this evening. Would probably really make this night a ten out of ten, for me. Because boobs are great. ‘specially your  boobs. Like, wow.”

“Gross, Kara!” Alex yells, shoving Kara sideways so she flops off of her sister and onto the floor.

“Ow.” Kara turns on her best puppy eyes, though they’re wasted on the non-video call. “Alex hit me.”

“I’m sure she’s sorry.”

Kara hums suspiciously before whisper-shouting, “Are you sorry you hit me?”

“Nope!” Alex says, swatting her on the butt.

“She’s not sorry at all!” Kara gasps. “She hit my butt, and I did not like it! Why do you like that?”

There’s dead silence on all sides before Lucy rolls her head enough to give Alex a shit-eating grin. “You owe me $50.”

“My ears!” Alex wails, immediately grabbing the nearest bottle and upending it into her mouth in the quest for amnesia.

“Okay, so… that just happened. I’m gonna come up to get you, and then we’re gonna go home and I’m gonna not see your sister for a few days. Okay?”

“Okay! She’s mean, anyways.”

“Yes she is.”

Lena knew what she was walking into. She’s dealt with drunk people before- she’s been a drunk person, probably with far more regularity than is entirely healthy. She’s handled drunk girlfriends, even.

However.

Drunk Kara is another matter entirely.

 

“Baby!”

This is Lena’s only warning before her arms are fully of a warm, wiggly, very drunk Kryptonian. Lena manages to catch Kara and herself, barely, only stuttering half a step backward at the impact. “Hi there.”

Kara snuggles deeply into her embrace, pressing her face to Lena’s neck and breathing deeply. “Y’smell so nice. How d’you always smell nice?”

Lena coughs, fighting the good fight against the flush creeping up her neck. She ducks her head to the side, smiling sheepishly and giving the still-conscious occupants of the room a wave. “Hello.”

Lucy offers her a lazy half-wave and Alex glares while Nia snores away. “Hey hey, Luthor. Gonna take her home?”

“Well I’m not flyin’, that’s for sure,” Kara laughs, and Lena suppresses the urge to shudder as Kara’s hot breath puffs against her neck.

“Can’t have Supergirl knocking a jetliner out of the sky,” Lena says with a smile. “That’s a lot of paperwork for you.”

Lucy waves that away with a slow grin. “Nah, I’d just make Alex do it.”

Alex, without looking over or breaking the seal of her lips on the bottle, stretches her leg out, plants her foot firmly to Lucy’s side, and shoves hard, sending Lucy flying.

And with Kara now mouthing wetly at her neck and murmuring things in Kryptonian that she’s extremely glad only she can hear, Lena gives them a parting wave and starts to struggle her way down the hall with Kara’s weight heavy against her side.

“How are you so heavy?” she groans playfully, shifting a bit so Kara’s arm is thrown over her shoulder and hers is wrapped snugly around Kara's waist.

Kara pouts at her, the new position preventing her from being able to reach Lena’s neck with her mouth. “You saying I’m fat?”

“I don’t think anyone on Earth could call you fat. You are shockingly heavy for being as thin as you are, though. I wonder if your bone or muscle structure is denser than ours? Or if it’s a result of Earth’s gravity…”

Kara’s pout deepens. “Sounds like you’re calling me fat with science.”

Lena huffs at her affectionately. “Don’t be a brat. Did you have fun?”

Kara’s face lights up. “We had so much fun! We played games, and Nia learned why she shouldn’t play shot poker with Lucy and Alex, and it turns out that Lucy mixes really good drinks with the stuff I drink- d’you think she practiced? I bet she practiced. We should go ask!” Kara turns on her heel, only stopped when she feels Lena tug her backward by a belt loop. She tips her head back until she can see her upside-down girlfriend- nope! Wait! Fiancee! “No?”

“No. Not unless you want to learn what paratrooping is,” Lena chuckles.

Kara’s nose wrinkled. “I prob’ly don’t.”

“Probably not.”

“Can we get balloons? I just- I really think I need to get a balloon, y’know? You ever just really need to have a balloon?”

Lena grins. “I can’t say that I have, but sure. We can stop and get you a balloon.”

“You’re the best fiancée anywhere, ever. And I’d know, ‘cause like, I’ve been to other anywheres and other evers. And yeah, you definitely win the fiancée contest. By a mile. Because nobody else got their fiancée balloons.”

“Deeply impressed that you managed to say fiancée correctly three times when you can’t walk straight.”

“That’s ‘cause it’s fun to say! And fun to think! We’re almost married! That’s nuts! Who said we were allowed?”

Lena pops onto her tiptoes to plant a sound kiss to Kara’s flushed cheek. “We did, I think.”

“Oh, yeah, right. We’re so smart, for doing that. ‘Cause now you’re my fiancée. Which is fun to say. Know what else is fun to say? Balloon. Balloon, balloon, balloon. Y’ever do that thing, where you say a word so many times that it doesn’t even sound like a real word anymore?”

“Synergy. Margins. Quarterly…” Lena laughs as they finally, mercifully reach the elevator. “Pretty much any time I have a board meeting, at least one word sounds made up by the end.”

“That makes sense. Hey! I bet I can be a balloon!”

“What do you- Kara!”

Kara grins down at her, hovering a foot or so off the ground. “This is fun!”

“Kara, you can’t be a balloon right now, what if someone sees you?”

“They’ll think they’re drunk.”

“That only works when they are drunk. Right now the only drunk one is you.”

“’m not drunk, you’re just blurry,” Kara giggles. “Cute blurry.”

Lena hooks her finger through Kara’s belt loop again when she starts to float too high, relieved when it brings her closer. “Can you be a balloon closer to the ground?”

“I dunno, ‘m just a balloon, Lena, duh.”

Lena snorts, tugging her into the elevator when it arrives, resigned to her fate. “You’re a very talkative balloon.”

“Am I being a bad balloon? You gonna pop me?”

Lena raises an eyebrow. “Is this… supposed to be a euphemism?”

“What’s a euphonium?”

“Right, not a euphemism, got it.”

Kara blinks at her, eyes too-bright in that way they get sometimes when she’s overtired (or, apparently, drunk). “Am I annoying you?”

“No more so than usual,” Lena grins. At Kara’s crestfallen look, she pulls her close until she can wrap her in a proper hug. “You’re not being annoying, love, just funny. And I’m really happy that you had such a good time with your friends, especially since I feel so bad about bailing on you last minute. I’ll carry you home any day of the week, Kara Danvers, because I love you.”

“Even when I’m bein’ a balloon?”

“Nobody I’d rather have on the end of my string,” Lena confirms, thumb tracing over the braided metal band of Kara's betrothal bracelet.

Kara nods with a big, goofy smile, pressing a kiss to Lena’s mouth that tastes… not quite like anything Lena’s ever tasted before. Something sweet and sticky and not exactly unpleasant. “Awesome. Love you too. Can we still go get a balloon?”

Lena laughs loud and bright in the tiny, snail’s pace elevator. “We can get you a dozen balloons.”

 

(Kara remembers none of this the next morning, and emerges from their bedroom squinting and questioning the large bouquet of balloons emblazoned with messages ranging from 'It's a Boy!' to 'Get Well Soon!'.

Lena is only too delighted to remind her.)

🍌  :    is my muse inclined to help others,  or will they only do it when it benefits them,  if at all?  what makes them this way?  has it ever gotten them into trouble,  or inconvenienced them?

GOHAN

[100000% is inclined to help others, and it likely stems from several different aspects of his life. How he was raised is part of it: ChiChi taught him manners and to be respectful and it’s not difficult to see how Goku’s gentle soul rubbed off on him. People had also had to help him, many times in the form of saving his life. Thus, he feels he should pay that forward in whatever ways he can, even with total strangers. Probably the largest bit of his mindset and the accompanying hero complex (and I’ve talked about how it’s actually more prevalent in him than it is Goku before, but I won’t go too far into that here) is that he feels that someone with his power shouldn’t waste it. As much as a part of him longs for a normal, quiet life as a scholar, he knows it just wasn’t fully meant to be. While he may not be on the level of training and improving himself as his father or Vegeta, he still does maintain his training as well as he can while he studies and attends school. He wants to put that strength of his to use in protecting people, hence the undertaking the Saiyaman persona. With it, he can go out of his way to protect those in need with his unearthly power.

It has inconvenienced him before, but not in ways that frustrates him or stresses him out. In his mind, an inconvenience is a small price to pay for helping others. This can be problematic in that it makes it easy for him to forget to protect and care for himself, but he doesn’t really dwell much on that.]

VEGETA

[Basically the opposite of Gohan with a near hell no. Vegeta is selfish and self-serving. He lived a kill or be killed life for a good portion of his life, and, though he had Nappa, he was basically taking care of himself when it came to physical harm. In many cases, he believes that those that cannot take care of/handle themselves don’t deserve his help. Let some bleeding heart do it or they can suffer. However, if he finds that helping another would benefit him, he will begrudgingly do so. It is not usually out of the kindness of his cold, dark heart. In the slim chance that he comes to care for someone--and I mean really care--he might be more inclined to be more helpful, depending on what aid needs to be administered.

It has absolutely bit him in the ass, too. Perhaps not in as big of ways as it could (which is another conversation when it comes to how everyone handles Vegeta), but, as they say, karma is a bitch.]

BARDOCK

[Bardock is probably halfway between Gohan and Vegeta on this. While he won’t just go out of his way to help others, he will if he deems it necessary, especially if he has a close relationship with them. This has changed some since his past since his goals and mindset has changed due to finding out the truth about Frieza’s treachery, the slaying of his team, and coming to terms with the fact that what he did while working for the tyrant made him just as bad. In the canon I am making for him, he is going out of his way to help those who have suffered under Frieza’s rule and helping to liberate planets from the remaining grasp the Cold empire has. So it is sort of 50/50 with it being for his benefit or not: to some extent, it is without any real benefit to him, but, at the same time, he does get some satisfaction in dismantling the remnants of Frieza’s empire.

As far as it being an inconvenience, I don’t think he views it as such. He finds it annoying when he offers help and, because he’s a Saiyan and their kind were a big help in causing the destruction and expansion of the empire he now hopes to hurt. But he tries to be understanding of their viewpoint.]

NABOORU

[On this matter, Nabooru is about on equal footing with Bardock, if not a half-step higher. She is willing to help people and it likely stems from her struggles growing up. She has been without food and water, faced persecution, watched her people die from both of those things, and has dealt with plenty of her own personal miseries. She has a strong “don’t stoop to their level” and “I don’t want to see people suffer as I have” mentality that likely drives this. She is not against helping people in need for next to no benefit to herself, but she isn’t exactly inclined to go out of her way to do it. Unless they’re a Gerudo. Then she would give up everything (and has) to help.

Like Bardock, she doesn’t see any of it as an inconvenience. If she thought it would be too much (unless it was for another Gerudo), she would only help to the point that would soften the burden, help them on their way. When it comes to her people, it could be considered an inconvenience in the way that she felt she had to go so far as to commit treason, throw away everything she worked for, and as a result be essentially sentenced to what should have been death to protect them (the details on that in the next bit of the self-indulgent fic thing ;3 or probably in her bio, too). To her, though, she was doing what her duty to her people required her to.]

Everyone Dice: Session 002 - Sewer Surfin’

Everyone Dice: Session 002 – Sewer Surfin’ 

“Welcome back everyone to the second session of Everyone Dice.” 

The session opened with a discussion about the Itch.io Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality which offered over 1000 games for a minimum price of $5 with all proceeds split between the NAACP and the Community Bail Fund. We also talked about Black Hole Entertainment Comics who featured Lynn in their first edition of Lift Off!

(The Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality ended with over $8 million raised!)

Kacey then quickly recaps the events of session one finishing with the party above the sewer grate. 

“Who is going down the ladder first?”

Scottie: “Me!”

Erin: “Alois.”

May: “Cordelia is definitely last.”

The Party decides on their order as: Zaala, Alois, Shay, Cordelia and Burnie. As soon as Zaala’s feet touch the stone, she hears a gasp and sees a figure in tattered clothes flee into the sewers. Everyone is quickly distracted by who does and doesn’t have Darkvision (only Alois, Cordelia and Burnie do). 

Scottie: “I’m a goliath, goliaths don’t have Darkvision, what do you want from me?”

Erin: “A likely story…”

Scottie: “I get to be harder to kill.” 

Alois and Shay, halfway down the ladder, also see this figure and the three take off in quick pursuit. Cordelia and Burnie follow from a distance. Alois wild shapes into a boar to match Shay’s speed of 40 feet. Shay closes the distance between herself and the figure using step of the wind to push off of the walls. A gap in the path covered by rickety planks proves no trouble for everyone except for Cordelia and Burnie who slip into the muck beneath. Zaala stops to help them even when it means giving up the chase. 

Scottie: “Given who Zaala is, she would be more interested in helping Burnie... and then also Cordelia.”  

With a natural twenty, Shay closes the gap and tackles the target to the ground. Close behind, Alois piles on top of the figure and Shay. The party is now able to see that the figure is a short individual in dark tattered clothes that haven’t seen a wash in days or even weeks. Pockmarks and sweat cover his face. 

Lynn tries to argue her case of using mending to remove the stains from Burnie’s skirt. “What if I cut the skirt where the stains are and then use mending, would that work?”

In a soft form of torture, Alois (still as a boar) begins blowing into the man’s ears while Shay questions him. He claims to have just been doing maintenance, but our insight reveals he’s obviously lying. He’s not wearing a uniform or insignia and tried to say he had not seen the zombies around him. 

Alois manages to find an iron key in the man’s pockets. Shay ties him up and finds out his name (as far as he knows) is Tristan. Burnie tries to talk calmly to him, while everyone else offers help through intimidation. Tristan reveals he is in the sewers on a job, “to make that bastard Ulrich pay” but doesn’t really know the specifics of why. He was hired by Abigail Ulrich, the lord’s sister and in return she will cure his gravely ill sister. 

Burnie suggests the party take him before the lord and Cordelia questions the point, but eventually agrees when Alois claims to have a secret plan. Zaala tosses the bound Tristan over her shoulder and leads the group back to the town square. A small crowd has gathered there, and a guard questions the party. After Alois siphons “an unnatural amount” of blood from Tristan and it follows the party in a fine mist. He is handed over to the guards. 

Burnie: “Question, sir, do you know if there’s perhaps a launderer of sorts open…this late?” Guard: “A launderer…. This isn’t the capital missy. We’ve got a place where you can wash your clothes. No one’s gonna do it for you.”

Cordelia dumps her shoes in the sewer and the party decides to clean in the nearby river. Zaala rests on the bank. Alois and Cordelia are completely naked which draws curious glances from passers-by. Burnie and Shay are still dressed to some degree but are washing in the water. 

Burnie: “Hello Shay, how goes the cleaning?”

Shay: “Um…. It’s going…” 

The two discuss Shay’s homeland of Urtu. Shay calls it boring and dislikes the rules about how people can live. That is the reason she left, to be able to live the way she wants too (though exactly what that means is left vague). The bond over their shared travels and the new experiences they’ve had along the way. Shay is impressed by the prevalence and variety of magic outside of Urtu. 

Alois uses talk to animals to converse with the small silver fish in the river. She easily befriends them with food. The noises of this conversation sound like soft waves and bubbling brooks, which captivates Cordelia. The fish tell Alois about the ‘rotten ones’ they’ve seen travelling nearby, coming from the west. They make a deal: Alois brings more food if the fish find out more information.

Burnie: “I am endlessly fascinated by your magic Alois”

Alois: “Oh neat.”

Zaala attempts to discuss Alois’ shape-changing abilities but finds the conversation difficult to progress. In Zaala’s tribe children are not gendered and are able to choose their own later in life. 

Out-of-character the party gets distracted by how many secrets we’re all keeping. 

Erin: “Session 49: We find out all of Alois’ secrets. Then Session 50 Cordelia betrays us.”

Scottie: “I thought session 50 we find out Cordelia’s secrets, not that she betrays us.” 

Erin: “It’s both, it’s both. The secret is that she’s going to betray us.” 

Back on track, dressed, and clean, the party walks back to the Lord’s manor. Roderic opens the door, surprised to see them so late, but lets them into the meeting room. A minute later Lord Ulrich joins them. Alois explains her plan. Using the siphoned blood, she can track Tristan and suggests they let him escape and follow him to Abigail’s base of operations. Lord Ulrich is unsure whether to trust the party over this plan and first wants to gather as much information as possible from Tristan. Burnie requests the Lord find Tristan’s sister so something may be done to help her illness, and he agrees. The conversation over, Lord Ulrich leaves and the party notices he is no longer carrying the walking cane with him. 

A brief mid-session break happens. 

The party heads back to the Blue Willow Inn and finds a table for dinner. Cordelia begins playing a soft tune under the party’s conversation. Alois calls Thana over and asks for “a bunch of kale soaked in saltwater”. Despite her confusion Thana agrees to have it ready in the morning. Alois then asks for a dinner recommendation as she’s “in the mood for anything”, they settle on six chicken pot pies which she’s never had before. Burnie orders 1 pot pie for herself and Thana offers to just bring a tray of pies for the group. Cordelia is not hungry but amused by the situation and insists on “all the pot pies you have”. 

Thana: “All of them?”

Cordelia: “All the pot pies!”

Zaala: “Are you going to pay for that Cordelia?”

Thana: “That was going to be my next question”

Cordelia: “That depends how many ‘all of the pot pies’ is”.

Eventually they land on 13 pot pies for the table and some venison for the homesick Zaala (it’s not moose but it’s close). The ale is disappointingly weak for Alois as she’s used to Bralian moonshine. Zaala tries Burnie’s fruity wine. 

Zaala: “It’s not…the worst alcohol I’ve tried.” 

Burnie raises the cup in cheers “Well, to not the worst!” 

Alois enjoys her pies and shovels them down. Burnie tries to make conversation while avoiding the day's events as they’re not “dinner appropriate conversation”. Shay mentions tackling Tristan earlier and she and Zaala begin discussing the combat training they both undertook. Shay was not allowed to officially ‘train’ in her homeland but watched others and taught herself. Shay says she wouldn’t be upset to go home but doesn’t really see the need, for the moment her place is the road. Burnie is listening to Cordelia play. 

Burnie: “I’m curious Cordelia, do you draw your magic from the music you play? 

Cordelia: “Yes, to some degree. Though it’s more that the music is the magic.”

Burnie: “I think I’ve heard of that before, but I’ve never met one such as yourself, or such as Alois. Honestly, I’ve never met any people like any of you before”. 

Zaala: “It is my understanding that what I do is, not unheard of necessarily, but rare”.

Cordelia: “I am the only one like me, so I’m not surprised”.

Lynn, very suspicious: “The only one…hmm”

May: “Stop being suspicious of me!” 

Lynn: “You say suspicious shit all the time” 

AJ: “Now you know how I feel!” 

Alois gets the party back on track and in character by asking “So, what’s with all those…clothes, Bunny?” Burnie was simply raised to dress that way ‘like a proper lady’. Cordelia laughs at this response. 

Alois: “Why though?” 

Burnie: “I’m afraid I don’t understand the question, it was just the way I was raised.”

Alois: “Yeah, but why?”

Cordelia: “She never learnt to question that.”

Burnie: “I’ve learned to question it, it’s just the way that things are done” 

Zaala: “I think it looks quite nice!” 

Cordelia (mockingly): “Like a proper lady”. 

The conversation shifts to the different ways of dressing people are used too. Alois is not used to people like Burnie. Zaala’s people mostly dress like her as the cold doesn’t bother them. Shay dresses similarly but is used to a warmer climate. Zaala also says the raven feathers in her ears come from her mothers’ companion, as the raven is her family’s symbol. Alois proudly shares the wolf-pelt she’s wearing is her first trophy. Shay is surprised but impressed by this. 

Alois shows off her bear trap: “You should have seen it, I caught it with one of these initially but it broke free. Now that I had some of its blood, I could track it and it was so fun! Took a few days but I got it!”

Shay: “I mean…yeah it sounds like fun. Camping? I bet it was like camping but you know, tracking an animal.” 

Burnie inquires if blood-magic is common where Alois is from. Alois just repeats that she doesn’t understand the questions until Burnie gives up. Alois asks Cordelia what sort of music she plays, to which she responds, “All music”. Alois wants a demonstration.

Cordelia: “You want me to play you all of the songs?”

Alois: “Well you said you knew all of the songs.” 

Cordelia: “Alright! I will do all of the songs, at once, for you.

Cordelia stands up and using both the lyre and her voice performs a cacophony of sound. It is unpleasant but after the initial shock, a melody forms within releasing a uniquely beautiful sound. Alois: “I’m sure it’s going to sound even better when I hear all of them separately”. 

On the topic of music Zaala reveals she has a flute but cannot play it very well. It was beautifully carved from bone by Zaala’s sibling, Veleo. Their brother, Nakein, was the musician in the family, not Zaala. Her people find what they are good at and do it, for her that is protecting people and weaving. “Weaving is a good reminder that my hands are useful for more than just hurting those that would hurt mine.” 

The party finishes dinner and eventually retire to their rooms for the night. Before heading to bed, Burnie says a prayer in privacy (Zaala takes a walk). She retrieves a collection of bones from and lays them out before her. The ceremony ends but she keeps her head bowed and softly speaks. 

Burnie: “I hope you had a good day today. I hope you’re doing alright. I noticed earlier that you were with me when I healed shay in combat. Do you know her? 

Fingers brush against her arm in response.

Burnie: “Do you trust her?”

A soft chuckle accompanies the bones as they shift to indicate “yes.” 

Burnie: “Do I have something to be jealous of?”

More laughter, the bones return to their place.

Burnie: “Alright I understand. I love you” 

A soft kiss is placed on her forehead and she finishes up for the night. 

As Cordelia lays in bed, she falls into sleep enveloped by darkness on all sides. After a few moments it parts but she finds herself in a darker version of her room. Pulled outside, she rises and opens the door, only to step into the town square. The sounds of activity swirl around her but she is alone there. At its centre, in front of the beacon, a metal musical stand has grown from the ground itself. She approaches and with each step the sounds grow louder until a deafening peak. An invisible conductor taps against the stand, stopping the chorus and calling coloured lights to erupt in the distance. A large book of music appears on the stand, its pages blown over by the wind. A strange voice, constructed with a thousand other sounds speaks to her, saying simply “the chorus calls”. Cordelia takes the book, lands on a tune titled The Minuet of Mending. She begins to play but upon the first note, wakes up again in her bed. 

The party awakes in the morning to the knock of a guard, called to talk with Lord Ulrich as soon as possible. They get dressed and ready before heading off to meet him. He greets them at the door, carrying his walking cane once again. Tristan was killed in the night by Roderic, who has now fled to The Geist lands west of town. He had a noose tied to his neck and was strangled. The party agrees to chase Roderic west. Ulrich offers a wagon of supplies to help them and asks for haste. Burnie asks if Tristan could have become a ghost, but the barrier of the beacon prevents undead being created within the town. Alois and Burnie decide to conduct an autopsy on Tristan’s body and leave town in the afternoon.

5. What was your favourite book as a child? Malory Towers, oh my god PLEASE tell me someone else read those as a kid! I fell asleep listening the audio books every night and named all my Barbies after the main characters.....

6. Do you prefer baths or showers? Showers

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which one would you be? DRAGON. I WNNA BE A DRAGON

8. Paper or electronic books? Paper. Gotta get that new book smell

9. What is your favourite item of clothing? I own the BEST oversized, knitted jumpers. I’m counting down the days till autumn when I can wear them again

10. Do you like your name? Would you like to change it? I really don’t like my name, I never have. My parents were going to call me Juliet which is wayyyy better than Ashleigh. But it would feel weird to answer to any other name at this point, so I’ll probably just leave it...

11. Who is a mentor to you? My therapist??

12. Would you like to be famous? If so, what for? Hmmm, kind of. I value my privacy too much to be like FAMOUS famous, but it’d be nice to be recognised occasionally or be known in society in some lowkey way

13. Are you a restless sleeper? It usually takes me a while to get to sleep but once I’m out, I’m OUT

14. Do you consider yourself to be a romantic person? I’ve not felt a Romantic Feeling™ in over 10 years so you tell me

18. Tell us about an early childhood memory: I remember listening to the Shrek soundtrack on repeat and making up dances for each song. I then performed the whole thing one Christmas to my entire family.... let’s move on

20. What are you most thankful for? My mental/physical health, my job, my home. I know that lockdown has been hard for many people and I’m very privileged to be able to say that I've been doing just fine. I do not take that for granted and I’m extremely thankful

22. Have you ever met someone famous? No, but I’m not sure I’d want to. Spotting someone from a distance is fine, but going up and talking to them? Interrupting their day with my incessant rambling? Absolutely not 

23. Do you keep a diary or journal? I did for 6 months when I was 13. I get it out sometimes whenever I need a good cringe.

24. Do you prefer to use pen or pencil? Pen for writing, pencil for drawing

27. What would you want your legacy to be? Oh god, I don’t know... I’d like to leave the world in a better state than I found it? To have done some good, made some change

28. Do you like reading? What was the last book you read? You see, I want to like reading, but I just suck at it. My concentration goes after like 10 minutes and I often get stuck on one book for months. I’m currently attempting to reread The Silmarillion

29. How do you show someone you love them? By giving them my time and attention. Being alone is my default state so you know that if I’m actively choosing to spend time with you, I must really care about you

30. Do you like ice in your drinks? I guess. I’ll have it at a restaurant for example, but I’d never buy ice to use at home

36. What would you do if you found $50 on the ground? Leave it there?? I wouldn’t want to get involved idk...

39. If you had to have a tattoo, what would it be and where would you get it? It’d have to be something simple, like a symbol or line drawing or something, wherever it would hurt the least

42. What is one thing you want to overcome/conquer? My low self-esteem. I think we’d all be unstoppable if we thought more of ourselves

49. how did you get your biggest scar? okay so when i was 5 i went biking down this big golf course cart hill and i didn’t know how to brake properly at the time and i crashed into a stop sign and skidded across the road which skinned by knee all up. the scars really faded now tho since that was 14 years ago

50. what did you do today that made someone else happy? made my dog happy today by playing with her :)
