it's kinda funny how much I like and relate to dog theming/motifs given my mild fear of dogs lol

#im not really scared of them #but big dogs intimidate me bc my aunts dogs would always topple me when i was little:((#and a friends bulldog dragged me around playing with my shoelaces once #but most of it just rubbed off on me from my mom who has a phobia of them #ive always played protector for her around dogs acting as a human shield yknow #so given most of the time im around dogs its keeping them away from my terrified mom its just kinda rubbed off on me a little #i do love dogs but yknow #also i do know bulldogs arent big dogs it just came to mind lol #also i was little so it seemed like a big dog at the time

Why does Ren have 4 ears? Are they all real or is one set fake?

Hehe I’ve gotten this question a lot actually! They’re all real— I like to think hybridization isn’t always a clean balance of traits, so Ren just unfortunately ended up with two sets of ears— his Dog ears being much more receptive to sound, naturally— and sometimes when the extra intake of sound is too overwhelming, I imagine he wears earplugs in his human ears to help adjust :> it’s a bit weird, but idk! i like to make designs funky and nonconventional! I liked the idea that Ren had hearing struggles due to wonky hybridization and just kept the concept :>

every day people call my coyotes wolves

#sometimes foxes too. but not as often #to be clear this is about my artwork. i do not say 'my coyotes' as if i have any claim to the species i mean my gay dog drawings #if anything i think it strengthens the whole 'coyotes as a trans/nb metaphor' thing i love so dearly. in a way #this is like. not an actual issue it's just a mild pet peeve really #it's not realistic for me to get actually bothered by it #esp considerin that wolves have a much more widespread range both in the natural world and culturally #so people as a whole are not gonna recognize a coyote as readily as a wolf. and ofc the two can fucking crossbreed so that doesn't help #HOWEVER coyotes are my subject of choice for a Reason and i feel like some of that nuance is lost when it's assumed to be a wolf yknow?#the dog metaphor hits different when it's the species that're the scrappy survivalists who live just as easily in the city and wilderness #sorry for going off i'm not normal about animal symbolism that's why i make art about it and have it as a constant motif #and i feel like a jackass if i correct people abt it too. head in my hands #this IS why that zine comic starts out with the line 'a coyote is not a wolf is not a fox' btw #no i won't shut up

#random thoughts #let me daydream about batman in peace #love the dynamic between spiderman and deadpool #it's that kind of dynamic i love where two people have power over each other in different ways #like spiderman is a well-loved public figure and deadpool's idol while deadpool is a dangerous mercenary with regeneration powers #physically deadpool probably outmatches spiderman through sheer dogged perseverance #while in the public eye spiderman is more well-liked AND deadpool is feverishly obsessed with him #i'm gonna keep forgetting the hyphen between spider and man btw fuck the world #loving the idea of a spiderman who KNOWS deadpool can do better and believes in him while deadpool gives him a space where HE can be himsel #like spiderman has so many masks he has to put on around other people #i think deadpool should be one of the few people he can truly let himself loose around #yknow before he can get to a point where he can reveal he's peter parker #also i think peter parker in his ideal state suffers from severe identity and self confidence issues #like he thinks spiderman is a seperate persona he puts on which is superior to himself in every way #(okay seperate thought: DID spiderman. the spider bite being so traumatic it led to him creating a split personality to cope.)#(or separate. whatever.)#also age difference. peter should be in his mid-twenties while deadpool should be in his thirties. need more power imbalance #also they're both sa survivors and their personalities could be interpreted as them handling it in vastly different ways #with deadpool being hypersexual and spiderman being flirtatious yet distant and peter parker being borderline celibate #though honestly i could leave spiderman being an sa survivor given it was a whole 'gay people are all predators' psa #also i think spiderman should have been held back in high school. due to struggles relating to being spiderman #so he graduated late and now he's going to community college #peter parker has the luxury of going incognito. wade wilson will always be stared at no matter what he's wearing #deadpool who every superhero hates. spiderman who every superhero organization is trying to recruit desperately #also i think peter should admire wade. physically. built like a brick shithouse that one #also the third act low point CAN'T be about spiderman feeling guilty because deadpool kills people #okay? it's overdone. we've seen it. it's lame #i prefer when their opposing views on murder are treated in a more 'death penalty or no' way rather than assuming deadpool is always wrong #because spiderman's idyllic 'people can change' beliefs can be just as wrong as deadpool's 'assholes deserve to die' beliefs #and spiderman has definitely killed people are you kidding me. both accidentally and on purpose

turns out how not to be deficient in fat in your diet is to stop eating only low fat versions of foods

#i was scared of being hungry unfortunately and didnt want to change my diet to more calorie dense stuff out of fear of like hunger related #mood swings which i get badly now which i didnt used to which is awesome i totally love feeling like a half starved half mad dog if my lunc #is like half an hour late #i will not eat like regular ice cream but y'know. cheeses. yogurt thats abt it i eat the same 9 ingredients in rotation #apples cauliflower cottage cheese cabbage sardines carrots broccoli tomatoes uhhhh monster energy drinks #i mean other stuff too sometimes but those r the staples #if i could go raw vegan without dying i probably would just bcs its easier #that list is kind of pathetic and depressing but idk man what's a guy to do #i do worry about it not being varied enough and missing micronutrients and stuff but like yknow ive always been a very unadventurous eater #eating the same things day in day out years on end and ive always been like fine lol it's just a less heavy carb selection these days which #like im pretty sure all that you need xyz amount of grains a day is a total psyop by the corn and wheat us subsidies i don't think you need #that shit just like how you dont need milk.

#sophie speaks #dog backwards is god yknow it makes sense #me and my undertale bullshit back on it again #i have 3 fic ideas for it. one is a meta commentary one is just about a reader with a chronic illness and one is my love for desperate read #-rs returning in full blown massive fashion. and also identity issues but all 3 of these fics have that last one just has that. a lot lot #all include my weird DID metaphors and multiverse shenanigans #because honestly all sans/sans shippers do not understand the weirdness of loving an alternate version of urself #they dont lean into it #i mean im not gonna write sans/sans I'm an x reader till death because i love self love. also sans could not love himself look at that guy #but undertale itself has so many cool themes u can build off of that i just. i wanna grab and squeeze em out like juice #and i mean its not like i can do www at the moment I've written like... 9k this month it ain't going good #might as well just enjoy the depression spiral. i know that doesn't sound very possible but yknow. we rock w it #im just in pain all the time... ill go back to the docs soon and maybe just start taking straight up opiods #but until then i can only do things if i feel there is absolutely 0 pressure on me to do them #once again thanks school system i love these learned behaviors you traumatised into me they're really useful #what was i saying? did i mention im a little scatterbrained atm

I fucking love this movie because look at it look at IGNORE THE CENTIPEDE BTW DONT WORRY ABOUT IT but look at the color and the framing and the fucking Fog like i cannot stress enough just how cinematic the first movie is man. Kind of but not entirely lost in the sequels, where the settings were simply Ugly.

#luly talks #also do look at Heiter's gay little pose this scene is so fun #like its hard to believe but the human centipede 1 is way more artsy than you'd imagine #and i love it bc it never feels pretentious like its just. a pretty fucking movie #there's a lot of simple character building for Heiter too #everything he does his whole house how he behaves #the way he looks and carries that pic of his dogs the naked swimming him fixing the window as a chekhov's gun #maybe not that since the bullet came backwards for the girl but yknow #even the surgery scene is so telling of how much he CARES about this like he's doing surgery on THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE ALL ON HIS OWN #you see him sweat you see him focusing with so much care and precision #i already analyzed in depth too my feelings on a man who previously separated bodies fighting so hard to unite them #i dont give this movie enough credit because im unfortunately obsessed w the third one which is. schlocky as fuck. but like #it's genuinely such a beautiful movie. it's campy too but there's so much soul to it. it's mental.#much better than msot the modern ones i've seen that try to be deep and fail GOD im about to rip my shirt off #I LOVE THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#raise your pencils!!!! and erasers. to fix the backwards letters 😔#sorry still thinking about my weirdness with my art professors. yknow a lot of em have been really pushing us as #students to make our personal identities a major part of like our 'brand' as artists #which. well from an art history major perspective thats a very contentious and nuanced topic. i love a lot of artists who live this way #and i think its great seeing my peers who focus on identity thrive. but also as an fine arts major (double major fool LOL)#i keep getting pushed by teachers into like. specific '____ artist' identities???#specificaly woman artist. which is a little bizarre because im a bit fat and a bit gnc so im generally like. ungendered? in day-to-day life #(which doesnt actually matter to me directly that much honestly LOL people tend to view me as like. buddy? buddy or pal.)#(not man. not woman. not anything human. sometimes i remind people of a beloved dog. which. hkdsahjk thats its own can of worms)#(a can of worms that also doesnt matter much to me directly because im a wannabe furry who chose to be the dog when playing house as a kid)#(LOL so um. well. theres that) but yeah i dunno i dont really consider myself a woman artist. its been. shockingly (and sometimes luckily?)#irrelevant to most of my life and experiences and art (although dont get me wrong misogyny is very real and very present) so i dont #have a whole lot to say about it from an art perspective. you could also call me all kinds of things. a queer artist. a mixed race artist #again technically correct. some aspects more visible in my work than others. but also very technical. i focus on race a lot in in my #art historical work but i dunno how much my drawings have to say. except that i keep making too many mixed ocs LOL #i dunno i just think my professors gotta focus that energy away from tokenizing me and over to supporting like actual #capital W Woman artists capital Q Queer artists capital A Artists of Colour who are doing far more interesting things than I #far more thought out and engaged in these topics directly. i just kind of stumble into my art blindly and confused <3 #sorry that was a long tangent WHAT IM SAYING Is despite all that: i do consider myself a capital D Dysgraphic artist #i think its an unmovable constant of my art and the way i draw and the way my hands move. the untrained eye doesnt seem to be as aware #of it directly. but those who are familiar can probably see it. the dysgraphia LOL if not just from whenever i write a letter or number #half of them are busted and frantically fixed HDKJSDJDS but its in all my art. if u can see it <3 ive been trying to embrace it #dygraphic artists raise your pencils indeed!! and throw away the eraser!!! make the legibility of your words everyone elses problem!!!#what does that say? what is that sketch? none of my business! none of your business!! its the business of my hand and the pencil alone #motor skill and spatial issues take the wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel

oh yeahg i should prolly mention i got Pokemon Scarlet. as an early bday pressie from my parents :333 (my bday is the 7th of september)

i have slooowly been working my way thru catching every pokemon i see because despite wanting to see Larry BADLY. i am not going to speedrun to him sgkhgksh. i lov u larry but i know hes literally not bothered to see his fans soooo im taking my time but am on my 3rd badge rnnnn because my team WONT stop levelling up its insane. im struggling to get badges fast enough to keep their obedience in check sgkshgksh

i did katy first, then brassius, then i did arvens big crab fight and beat mela and then finished today beating up iono in the rain. she was such a sopping wet beast on stream it was rly funny.
