if your Jewish friends aren't talking to you about anything that's happening right now, it's because they know that at its core your take is probably rooted in greedy-grasping-jew stereotypes with a hefty helping of i-don't-mean-you-of-course. And they're doing both of you the favor of pretending it isn't.
#or the slightly more active version which is be-a-good-jew-for-me#but in that case they probably demanded your position on Israel/Palestine the moment they knew you were Jewish#because frankly most people conflate Israeli people with Israeli government with All Jews Everywhere Past And Present and it is wild#my favorite ice cold take from the past week: jews are just like the puritans who killed Indigenous people for land#actually maybe my favorite is that it doesn't matter that jews are the Indigenous people of this region because it's been invaded like 3x#their estimate not mine#now it's not their indigenous land it's their ancestral homeland which i guess we don't care about?#that's especially confusing because if they're arguing that it also became the muslim ancestral homeland why would we only care about that#i feel like i should do a gallery of Worst Takes of the Week#sure i probably shouldn't but also fuuuuuuuuuuck#wall of words

Oh, oh! I got one!
okay okay, so, don’t feel pressured to write this if you do t want to, but what about slashers (Vincent Sinclair, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, anyone else you wanna add) with a s/o who gets really distracted? Like, in the middle of doing something that should be simple, they zone out and forget what they were doing. (I have really bad ADHD so that’s why I’m asking-)
like, they even have to remind their s/o to take medicine and just nudges to get them back on track-
idk, do what you will with that idea, and again, thank u for ur time!!
btw, u look amazing today!!
You too look amazing today! Thanks for request! Why is everyone so spooked of requesting, the worst thing I can do is not answer🥰
Slashers with s/o that gets distracted A LOT
Sinclair Vincent
Imagine, s/o is in Vince workplace first time, he probably wants to turn them into wax figure, he leaves room for one second to grab some tools. Boom s/o is just walking around judging his wax figurines
Mans gonna be like 🧍in corridor when they are just amused by how cute and pretty some of those lil figurines are🥰
After they get along, Vince really enjoys slow walks thrue gallery or just near area, cuz its very pretty and there's no Bo screaming like child
He saw some pretty leaves, he went to pick them up so he can show them to s/o. He turn around... where.. where are they??!?!? Huuh did they leave him?? Dude will be overthinking hard. But after few minutes of looking for them, they just kinda spawn behind him "hey vince look i found this cool as rocks and then I saw deer's and I kinda fallowed them to this dope river come see!"they just grab his hand and lead him :(tbh vince was this close to mental break down, now he always holds hands
Myers Micheal
My dude is about to buy one of those backpack leashes that some parents have. He's like 80years young, ain't no way he's going to run around city looking for some guy who just saw pretty butterfly and almost got hit by a car 5times.
To be honest they should be ones making sure he won't just walk of and get lost in Forest judging by his age
When he notice that s/o didnt take their daily medicine he just takes it and slams it on desk/table next to them or just throws it at them! Take the pills dummy!
S/o calling him 'heya mickey im lost pick me up' happends twice per week. Really s/o be more careful pls
Voorhees Jason
If you thought that Vincent panicked? Oh this guy will have mental breakdown, cry and then search whole place
In forests signal sucks so they can't call him and screams won't do much cuz echo and Jason is mute so he cant yell back anyways
He won't buy leash but he will hold their hand 24/7 nuh uh you cant go run after those deers, no you can't go swimming we know what happend in 1957
Now he has ptsd and evertime he wakes up and doesn't see s/o in his eyesight he instantly thinks that she's in difrent country or dead
Heelshire Brahms
This dude knows the whole mansion no way he loses them here right?
Jokes on you brahms they are already on the other side of it
Even tho they are in closed space, which is safe and very known to Brahms it doesnt stop his abandment issues and... idk he has a lot of issues tbh. No matter how long he knows s/o he's is 100% sure that they are trying to leave.
He will probably speed run thrue corridors screaming their name and he just stubbles across them just watching paitinings on walls "this you? You were ugly ass baby" "WHERE WERE YOU" "I saw funny rats and i wondered where they have secret cheese hideout" "rats?😰" (its a reference to my old fic where brahms was beaten up by rats and now hes spooked of them)
He has calendar with highlighted date everyday they have to take pills and how many so every morning when s/o wakes up they see his face like few centimetres away from theirs, with aggressive eye contact holding pills "it is time my love" " oh :("
I added brahms cuz hes goofy, have wonderful day person reading this!! And never be spooked to ask for headcanons! We love that

SteveTony Weekly - October 1
Ok, so I’m SORRY!!! This week is probably the least I’ve read since I started this rec blog. I had a lot of work and prepping for being out of office on vacation. Next week should be fairly ridiculous since…vacation reading. So that’ll be nice for all of us.
~*~
In Too Deep by fohatic
Steve knew that he was asking for trouble when he agreed to let the gallery auction off a date with him for charity, but he needed to get in the director's good books if he wanted to make it as an artist in this cutthroat town. He never imagined that his participation would ignite an outrageous bidding war, or that the infamous, billionaire ex that he hadn't seen since their sudden breakup two years prior would show up and stake his claim.
a slightly twisted, darker spin on meidui's "frequencies of sea and space"
Just a Jump to the Left by captainmistyknight (vicspeaks)
“Well, well, well! If it isn’t the man out of time. Are you prepared to be eliminated from the current timeline?” Ugh, Kang. It was too early for this."
Kang gives Steve the chance to hop back into the past right where he left off, no strings attached. Tony doesn't like that at all. Steve figures out when he's meant to be, in the end.
Mr. July by jibrailis
Tony is the only one who can defend Steve's virtue. Tony hates his life.
Reasons To Love You by ItsMayBiTheWay
There is 98% chance he is not reading this wrong, but for the sake of his sanity, Tony feels compelled to ask. He wants to lighten the mood a little, let out a chuckle with his question but it all comes out so earnest, too honest. “So you’re telling me you’ve been listing all of my worst traits to tell me you’re worried about me?”
“Well…” Steve lets out a little laugh. “You do have far worse traits than the ones I’ve listed.”
“If I’m that terrible, why do you care?” He doesn't mean for his words to sting, but they leave on their own accord, carrying little needles.
the truth is by JenTheSweetie
“This is one of the top eight worst things that has ever happened to me,” Steve said.
“That’s… specific,” Tony said.
Who's Scruffy Looking? by JenTheSweetie
“I don’t know,” Steve said, after Tony finished a six-minute ode to The Dude’s beard. “I mean, I’m not really a fan of beards.”
Tony gave Steve a look of such horror that Steve almost wondered if he’d misspoken and casually mentioned that he’d been tossing puppies off the top floor of Stark Tower.
“You’re not,” he said, “a fan of beards? I mean – but you like my beard.”
Steve tilted his head. “Uh. No, not really a fan of yours, either.”
just another morning in the stark mansion by calciseptine
At 7:34 a.m. on a random Tuesday in October, one enraged Pepper Potts interrupts Steve Rogers' and Tony Stark's simple eggs-and-toast breakfast.
Fog in a Snowstorm by ladyshadowdrake
Tony had been dating Steve Rogers regularly for three months. The only problem was that he wasn’t entirely sure if Steve knew it.
angels who sin by meidui
Summer air is thick and sweet, like Tony's voice pouring honey into Steve's throat, telling Steve more than he needs to know. He's here with his parents for the summer, he just finished his first year at college, he doesn't believe in God but his parents make him come to church.
"They said you can help me find faith," Tony says, as mischievous as he is innocent, and Steve is as good as gone.
I Bet You Think About Me by iam93percentstardust
But now that we're done and it's over
I bet you couldn't believe
When you realized I'm harder to forget than I was to leave
And I bet you think about me
~
The breakup wasn’t amicable.
Steve had always liked most of Tony’s friends. He’d gotten along well with Rhodey and Bruce and Pepper and Natasha. He’d even gotten along reasonably well with Happy, who didn’t like anyone other than May. It had been the other side of Tony’s friend group that Steve hadn’t liked and who had, ultimately, been the wedge that broke them apart.

As a Captain for Starfleet, Tony takes a rare opportunity to pursue enemies into Deep Space.
Unfortunately, his decision might just cost him his crew--and his one-of-a-kind First Officer.

Grayson.
Gideon: Grayson. Did anything happen between you and Su?
Grayson: No! Why would you even ask me that
Gideon: Grayson.
Grayson: I mean I was going to tell you but after everything with your grandparents and Alaia cooled down
Gideon: What exactly did he do?
Grayson: I don't want you to be upset, it wasn't anything serious. It didn't even matter. Did Su say something to you?
Gideon: Grayson! What are you even talking about right now? Of course, it matters. What. Did. He. Do?
Grayson: Gideon please it doesn't matter. Nothing happened!
Gideon has to take a pause, this is the first time they've had a fight like this and it's all because of the nuisance. Grayson tells him everything even when he goes to the bathroom but he can't tell him this one thing? It eats away at Gideon's heart, nothing is as it should be "I'm not upset at you Grayson I could never be mad at you. I'm upset with the situation, tell me what happened
Grayson responds shakily and in a low breath "He tried to kiss me at the bar you picked me up at a few weeks ago"
Gideon: Grayson.
Grayson: This is why I didn't want to say anything! Now you're upset! Everything is a mess now!"
Gideon: Grayson
Grayson: What was the point of even saying anything. You said everything will be fine once you graduate! Why do we need to even talk about Su!"
Gideon: Grayson, Do you still want to work at the art gallery?
Gideon: Yes of course! but why does that matter
Gideon takes a deep calming breath "Don't worry I'm not upset. We'll talk about this later. I have a few things that I need to do okay?
Grayson: Are you sure you aren't mad? You promise?
Gideon: I'm not mad. Just focus on your art and school. I'll handle the rest okay?
Grayson: Okay...
It's been a few days since Gideon and Grayson "fight" and Grayson can't get rid of the nagging feeling that despite what Gideon said things still don't feel right. "What should I do? I feel horrible"
Veroinca: Can't believe you didn't tell anyone Su tried to kiss you. I'm asking this again and be honest. Do you like Su?"
Grayson really stops to think, does he like Su? He definitely doesn't like him the way he loves Gideon. But he doesn't hate him either "I don't hate him, I like working with him but that's it"
Veronica: Grayson what if the same thing happened with Alaia, you would be so mad he kept that from you
Grayson: This is the worst it feels like everything is just sitting on the top of my chest like I can't breathe. So many people are against Gideon and I...I'm tired of feeling this way
Veronica: I heard you and Mom talking during Winterfest about taking a break. Maybe that will be a good idea
Grayson: Why does everyone keep saying that
Veronica: Relax, you said Gideon has a plan and you just need to wait until he graduates, that's in a few weeks. Take that time to just breathe
Grayson: Do you really think that is a good idea?!
Veronica: I don't know! You're the one who says you can't breathe. Before Gideon or Su, I'm thinking about you, you're stressed and anemic you don't want to hurt yourself! This is Gideon we are talking about! He would wait forever for you"
Grayson: But what if Gideon decides he doesn't want to get back together?!
Veronica: Grayson, be real. Gideon would jump off a cliff if you told him you wanted to see him do it. I know you love Gideon but if the stress is too much it's always good to step back and breathe. Just think about it

I am exhausted... Three fairly busy days of work. Three very busy and stressful nights of science outreach where I was running everything and once again failed to delegate. Really average engagement as well, which meant I was scrambling each night to get enough tickets sold and whatever, but it mostly turned out in the end. It did mean that I was working 8-3 and 5-10 every day with the middle two hours break dedicated to nipping home, walking and feeding the dogs, getting changed and heading back out. And then running between two venues trying to manage shitty science speakers and MCs and volunteers. Mostly a success though.
Two major things soured it. Last night, our last night, at the venue we've used for two years running and that has, on the whole of things, been great. Between managed The Rest of It, and my dean (evil incarnate and a walking talking karen) being the average MC (we had a best science joke comp and she was reading them out and she opened with 'I'm not a joke person' and then gave off the vibe 'if you laugh at this you're the worst' but then also got annoyed that no one was laughing)... anyway, between all that, one of the wait staff pulled me to side and gave me the heads up that the chef wanted a private word with me... because one of our speakers had announced the event to his entire 50 students class (great!) and gone on to say they should eat before they come because the venue's food was over priced and awful (wtf?).
So then I went and talked to the chef between speakers and he was pretty reasonable and I'm on his side, but also, like, his instinct was to go and fight my speaker which... I was against, but like... great... and he wanted an apology (which, also, fair) and I think I handled it (and am still handling it) well enough but... why?
And the other fun thing was at the second venue on the second night, I was there for setup and then went back across for the last half hour, and paid off the bar tab. This is for the speakers, the MC, and the one or two volunteers who help with setup and taking tickets. We are capped at $200 a night. I went to pay it and it was almost $400 and had ten main meals on it. Worked out a bunch of PhD students just decided they also qualified... like one who kept asking to volunteer and sitting with my actual volunteer but who did nothing. And then at least three others who just came to the events... The tickets were $8 and to access the tab you had to say you were a volunteer so either these PhD students are astronomically stupid or they're just thieves (from either me or a not-for-profit). So now I'm chasing that up and there's gonna be about $100 I need to do some creative accounting with and there is still one student who sees intent on just not owning up to her mistake? Like at least the other three have said it was some sort of mistake and agreed to pay me back. But like, wtf is wrong with people.
Also this kind of high social energy activity means I don't fall asleep until 2am and then have nasty real-feeling dreams of things going even more wrong and then wake up and repeat. This after a weekend down with family and... it's like week 10 of semester and I am just spent.
Also I have almost-finished porn I would like to get posted.
But I'm still doing pick-up assessment today and have class tomorrow at 9am and for some dumb reason I'm taking my lab group to the art gallery tonight because it's free. I'm just... tired.

This is one of my favorite songs and I feel it every time I hear it. I have a... story that goes with it but it's personal and kind of stupid so read only if you are curious.
Warning tho: Suicidal thougts and a very long rambling text.
So, in 2022 I went to Canada to meet with a guy I met on facebook (don't think anything yet, I know this is dumb). Anyway, this dude I met was from Mexico too, different city, but close enough he could visit.
We started talking during the pandemic and I didn't want to meet him in person haha and I used the fact that we had to stay home as an excuse to explain why I didn't want him to come (this dude couldn't take a simple "no").
Fastforward to May 2022 and he came to my city. I still didn't want to meet him but I admit he had been fun to talk to and I considered him an online friend. Besides, I had already looked him up, y'know, to check he was who he said he was and all. (I even found the name of his parents lol I'm good).
I remember Dr. Strange was on theatres and I told him I'd meet him if he invited me to see it and when we were waiting in line he told he was moving to Canada and he'd like it if I went with him. I was like "hold it, you're just an online friend" but I guess he had already put my in the girlfriend-zone which sucks.
That year was one of the worst years, emotionally for me. I've just finished my career and I was giving online classes and I felt like a functional adult. But then, I quit my job because of dumb stuff my dad put in my head and I had nothing to do- no work, no study, no energy to write or paint or anything really. And I started thinking:
If I'm doing nothing, then what's the point.
To be alive without actually living.... It'd be better if I didn't exist at all.
I guess it consumed me and it depressed me even more and all I did was sleep and pretend I was doing good when I had to go see my family.
I felt like a ghost. Now I realize I had been feeling like that, as if in a daze or a dream or like smoke, for a very very long time.
FB dude invited me to Canada then, paid for the plane and everything. Mom seemed excited that I was apparently meeting someone, even Dad was unworriedly cheering me on, telling me I should explore and travel and meet people (ohgoshamIcrying?)
So I went.
I knew I couldn't put my life in other people's hands, and not in a trusting way but in a desperate attempt at finding a lifeline.
That song?
I first heard it when I was sitting near a lake.
Dude had to work all the time I was there, so I was by myself most of the time. I still slept most of the day, then went out, drank water to feel full but I didn't eat that much in those two weeks, wandered around downtown, visited the National Gallery, took a bunch of photos to look content on my instagram...
I almost didn't come back.
My thinking process was: if I die here, they won't have to see my lifeless body. They won't have to hold a -what's the word- like they did for my uncle (who died just a few months before my trip). It'll be better for them all if I just disappeared. Bunch of people disappear everyday. Tourists. Specially women, right?
I listened to that song every single day during my stay there and I kept looking for the oportunity, the place. Waiting for someone to actually do it for me and even wishing FB dude was a psycho who'd do it for me cause apparently I was a coward.
Anyway, I did come back and I feel awake and I no longer want to do it even if I think not existing is still a good idea. Went to the psychologist, figured some stuff out, realized I hadn't mourn my uncle like I should've, put my life on my hands with a pretty simple and dumb goal: I don't want to leave that on my brother.
Now I'm still convincing myself, every day, that I do want to be here.
And even if there are days when I just sleep and think that I don't deserve to exist, I keep trying the next day.
Ignoring myself is difficult, but I also enjoy shutting myself up by proving I can do things.
It helps that now I have a job, so I have to get up for that, and HL helped a lot, taking me home for a little while and finding me a new little fandom with even a friend or two (even if we dont talk much).
Still... I'm scared of maybe not comitting it, but I guess I don't really take care of myself, and I'm just following my uncle's steps on how to stop existing.
But scared is not the right word either. I guess I'm just sad. Again. All the time.
#this song#personal rubbish#depressed#tw depressing thoughts#depresion#suicidal thoughts#you are not alone#if anyone wants to talk about feeling this way#i get it#or we can only listen to sad music#5 minutes of crying then dust off and go on#weirdraccoon rambling#Spotify

I MOVED RATIO BACK TO MY MULTIMUSE OVER AT @inominati!
#DIANOETIKON (gr. διανοητικόν). Private and selective DR. VERITAS RATIO of Hoyo's Honkai: Star Rail. High enthusiasm, slow writing speed. Established in April 2024 and written by Min (30+, she/her). Not spoiler free. Duplicate friendly.
"Πάντες ἄνθρωποι τοῦ εἰδέναι ὀρέγονται φύσει. Ignorance is a malady that must be cured. Should your mind exhibit symptoms of dullness, feel free to give the doctor a call."
GALLERY | MEMES | HEADCANONS
BLOG ROLL: vidyadawn (Dan Heng) | inconcordia (Sunday) | delusionaid (Genshin Impact multimuse)
Required reading below the cut.
I. ABOUT ME. My name is Min, I'm over 30 years of age and I've been rping in various fandoms for over 15 years. I work during the week so replies are slow, but I'm online throughout the dayand available through DMs or discord (for mutuals only). I am not caught up with the latest update but I don't mind spoilers.
II. REQUIREMENTS. If you are interested in roleplaying with me, you must be at least 18 years of age, ideally over 21, even more idealier over 25. I make no exceptions for minors, regardless of thread content. I will gravitate towards H:SR canon muses, but I am open to OCs if the character appeals to me and crossovers if I can see a way to merge our worlds together.
III. WRITING. I prefer plotted threads and longer replies (on average I'll write 3-6 paragraphs), but I don't expect you to match length. What matters to me is the content of our posts and our ability to progress in the story we want to tell. I don't really do short convos anymore (unless it's dash crack) and I don't write unplotted starters because they often lead nowhere. If you have ideas for our muses, just message me and if you don't have ideas yet but would like to write, let's plot together :)
IV. MEMES. Best way to get something started with me is through memes. Any memes in my meme tag are available without time limit for all mutuals, so no need to ask first, just send in whatever tickles your fancy! Heads up: it might take me forever and three days to respond, but I will get there eventually. Feel free to reblog any meme posts directly from my blog, I don't mind that at all. Bonus: there's a high chance you'll get a meme reply from me 84 years after sending it, when you no longer remember it.
V. SHIPPING. I am very selective with shipping on this muse but I am not closed off to the idea in theory. I don't insta-ship and once I do have a ship (or maybe more than one) I'll probably cap. If I write multiple ships, they are automatically in separate verses unless discussed otherwise. Don't be afraid to ask if you're interested in shipping, the worst case scenario could be that it doesn't work out.
VI. SOCIAL POLITICS.I am against callout and cancel culture and do not engage in it. Callouts will not be reblogged - I curate my dashboard my own way and I have no interest in being dragged into other people's fights. I don't respect publicly hating on fictional ships, characters or portrayals. I will never harass anyone or shame them for the fictional things they choose to write, I simply avoid, blacklist or block what I don't want to see. I believe the RPC would be a better place if people tried to be more tolerant, respectful and kind to one another.
Rules are subject to change. Thank you for reading this far! :)

Maybe "So, it was you." for the Cheating!AU 👀
hello!!! ok so this is set in the cheating au (cw: infidelity...... but between obi-wan and his wife, and anakin and HIS wife, so they can be together)
i really thought about having this be a confrontation between padmé and anakin/padmé and obi-wan, but i feel like we don't deserve that emotional catharsis right now, as the cheating au is only like. five posts. like the big climax there WOULD be padmé finding out, and we just cannot be there yet.
satine finding out though........
(1.6k) (cw: cheating) (cw: oblivious anakin)
Anakin has no idea what to do with his hands. He feels sort of like a murderer, caught with blood all of his palms, standing at the crime scene and staring down the detective who found him in the act.
But the detective is Satine Kenobi, and she didn’t catch him in the act of murder so much as she caught him in her kitchen with his hand wrapped around her husband’s cock, mouth moving uselessly on his throat as Obi-Wan groaned and leaned back to give him more room, hands moving over his own ass.
He’s made sure to scrub at his hands very, very well before emerging from the bathroom, but he still feels as if something’s on them. Blood, but most accurately Satine’s husband’s come.
She’s sat herself on the sofa, glass of Corellian wine in her hand. She takes a sip as he fidgets.
“So it was you,” she finally says like this interests her, like she’s not heartbroken or distraught to come home and find her husband in the midst of being unfaithful.
Anakin spins his own wedding ring around on his finger. He knows that if this were his apartments, if this were his wife, she would not be so outwardly calm.
But Padmé is planets away on Naboo, advising the latest queen on a classified issue. No, Ani, sorry. So classified that not even her husband can know.
Obi-Wan, when he’d relayed this news to him, had laughed and said that the child Queen probably had started bleeding and needed an older sibling figure to help her, and if Padmé is going to be busy, Anakin should travel to Stewjon for that week. The Senate has adjourned for a recess, and Obi-Wan has come to prefer his spare time spent in and around and on top of Anakin.
Obi-Wan is a bit of an asshole, but Anakin had come anyway. He’d met him at the spaceport of the small city Beesa, on the other side of the planet from the capital, Colsteph. He’d been greeted with a friendly clap on the shoulder, as if he hasn’t sucked on the senator’s tongue like a slut in the closet of his very own art gallery. Anakin understands though. His wife is, after all, a Galactic Senator as well, and though he knows she loves him, the public displays of affection never occur quite as often as they do during election season. The holo cameras are always watching.
Now it’s Obi-Wan’s wife that watches him over the rim of her wine glass.
“Let me elaborate,” she decides, shifting her position on the couch so as to draw her legs up and beneath her.
“Where’s Obi-Wan?” He asks almost desperately. He needs the other man there. This affair had been his idea. He’d pursued Anakin. And, alright. Fine. It had been a short chase, all things considered, and Anakin commed him as frequently as Obi-Wan commed him. But still. This was his wife. Why is Anakin alone to deal with the fallout?
“I told him to take a shower,” Satine replies. “You did manage to dirty him up, didn’t you?”
Anakin flushes all over and squeezes his hands together. He’d prefer it if she yelled. He’d even prefer it if she cried. He doesn’t know what to do with this coolness, this detachment. It’s so opposite from all his worst nightmares, the ones where Padmé finds out that he’s been kriffing and being kriffed by her mentor for the past eight months.
“Let me elaborate,” she says again. “It was you that he’s been comming all hours of the day and night. It was you that made him reluctant and then later refuse to accompany myself and our son to the Scarif beaches on our annual trip because of work conflicts. But it was you, wasn’t it? It was you that made him start trying to expand his culinary appreciations—I was wondering why there were so many vials of desert spices in our cabinets, recipes for bantha steak seared in cave-grown blue tomatoes carefully written on flimsi, but it’s you. It’s because of you.”
Anakin hides his hands behind his back. He doesn’t know what to say. Yes, probably she’s right. But those aren’t—those aren’t things he’s asked Obi-Wan to do. He hadn’t even realized the man had done them. Not until this very moment.
It makes him feel…strange. Guilty, but something else too.
Obi-Wan learned how to cook his favorite dish. For him.
He feels like…like a teenager again, butterflies alight in his stomach, wondering nonsensically if this means that Obi-Wan truly likes him for anything other than the excitement of an illicit fuck, even as he twirls his wedding band round and round his finger.
Stars, he’s messed up. He’s the worst husband in the entire galaxy. He’s the worst person.
“It was you—” Satine starts to say again, but before she can get further, a hand slides around Anakin’s waist and pulls him back into a solid, wet chest.
“Yes,” Obi-Wan tells the pair of them, resting his chin on his shoulder and looking at his life. His hand wraps around Anakin’s, forcing him to stop playing with his wedding ring. “Is that going to be an issue?”
Satine takes another sip of her wine, like she can’t hear the way Anakin’s heart has sped up. He doesn’t know what he’s going to do if she says yes. What if she tells Padmé? What if she demands that they stop seeing each other? Touching Obi-Wan is one of the only stars-damned things in his life that feels like it makes sense. He needs the other man’s grounding touch, his frankness, his open arms, his sharp wit, his talented tongue.
He needs to be held the way Obi-Wan holds him sometimes after they’ve finished, before one or both pulls away. He needs. He needs Obi-Wan.
But his life—Obi-Wan is a senator, and Anakin has two children, babies, who will need their father. A steady family dynamic. Korkie is older, ten now, and at boarding school in Alderaaan more often than not. But Luke and Leia, they’re only babies. They need their father, and Padmé….Before he met Obi-Wan, before he slept with Obi-Wan for the first time, he’d thought that his and Padmé’s love transcended the laws of the galaxy itself.
But Obi-Wan…he makes him feel so…so stupid. So idiotic. So helpless against the affection that rises in him whenever he sees the man smile. Whenever he sees the man.
No. He can’t admit to such a thing. It’s bad enough that he can’t stop himself from relaxing back into Obi-Wan’s hold. It’s bad enough that his lover’s wife takes a sip of her wine and leans back onto the couch, observing them with one eyebrow raised.
“No, it won’t be an issue,” she tells them both. Is it Anakin’s imagination or does Obi-Wan untense from behind him? “For me,” she adds. “I knew the man I married when I married him. You’ve given me what you promised, Obi-Wan. An heir, a comfortable life. I don’t care for or about the pretty things you entertain yourself with now.”
Anakin stares at her. He knows his eyes are impolitely wide, but surely she knows that marriages are not supposed to be like business arrangements.
Surely she knows they’re supposed to be about love.
Has she ever loved Obi-Wan? The thought causes a storm of sensation in his stomach. Disquiet, at the idea that she had. He doesn’t particularly want anyone else to love the man in a romantic way, because that heightened the chances of his attention straying from Anakin.
But he doesn’t particularly like the idea of Obi-Wan stuck in a loveless marriage either. The man deserves to be loved. He is so kind, he is so clever, he is so perfect. He deserves to be loved, but Anakin can’t think of a single person outside of himself worthy enough to love him.
And Anakin cannot love him. Anakin is in love with his wife.
“No issue from me,” Satine says again, and her cold eyes fall to Anakin’s flushed face. “But you have a wife as well, don’t you, Anakin? I have the strangest feeling that she will not react so…kindly to such a betrayal.”
“I believe I know my wife better than you do, Duchess,” Anakin tells her sharply. He doesn’t—he doesn’t want to talk about his marriage. Not right now. He still has Obi-Wan’s spit drying on his neck. He can’t do this.
Satine tilts the rest of her wine glass up into the air, the shimmering Corellian wine cascading down her throat. She sets the empty glass aside and cocks her head to look at him. “If marriages were based on knowing, Mr. Skywalker, I believe I’d be obligated to give you my titles right now.”
“Satine,” Obi-Wan says sharply, and his wife holds up her hands, standing from the couch in one long languid movement.
“I mean nothing by it,” she says. It feels like a lie, though Anakin can’t put his finger on why. She isn’t screaming. She isn’t crying.
But when Obi-Wan adjusts his hold on him to wrap an arm around his stomach, her eyes follow the movement and for a second she looks considering. She looks concerned.
“Carry on,” she tells them with a wave of her hand. “Your dalliance is…safe with me. I separated love from marriage a long time ago.” Her eyes fall back to Obi-Wan’s hand. Anakin has somehow threaded their fingers together. “I suggest you do the same,” are her parting words.
Anakin stares after her. He has no idea what she means.
Of course love and marriage are the same thing.
It’s just that Obi-Wan has shown him that love, sex, and marriage don’t necessarily have to mean the same thing.
It’s a discovery he cherishes.

Bad Romance (Part 1) | Lee Taeyong
Pairing: Lee Taeyong x Reader
Summary: Your boyfriend Taeyong wants to fuck you, but you're not ready...
Genre: Angst, Smut, College AU
Word Count: 1.8k
Warning: Sexual Content, Toxic relationship
Part 1 ⭐️| Part 2
Taeyong’s breaths were deafening in your ear. Couldn’t he try to control himself? For discretion, at least. You imagined every ear in your university dorm pricking up. Snickering. “I wonder what they’re up to.”
Taeyong kissed you again, his hot lips colliding with yours.
His hand, ever so slightly rough, pushed up your shirt, sending goosebumps up your ribs. A moan sounded, deep in your throat, and Taeyong groaned in satisfaction.
You felt instantly guilty. You’d told yourself your ancestors wouldn’t mind if you did this for him. But you’d promised not to enjoy it.
Taeyong knotted one hand in your hair. You felt the other one slide up to your back to unclasp your bra. His hand dwarfed your back, sending sparks rippling up your shoulder blades.
“Are you okay with this?” he murmured, voice husky. You nodded. It was a lie.
The truth was, you’d never had sex before. You’d barely even kissed a boy.
When all your college friends were in the basement snogging boys, you would hover by the doorway, holding their drinks. When they began to tease you, you just pretended you couldn’t hear them.
Even when everyone started saying you ‘batted for the other team’, it just felt like a relief. Maybe they’d finally leave you alone.
You were a feminist. You fully believed that women weren’t shiny, unwrapped presents that had to be protected for marriage. But you were also a fake.
Because the idea of sleeping with a stranger still made you feel sick inside.
Well, Taeyong wasn’t a stranger; he was your boyfriend. So, you would just have to grit your teeth and get on with it.
Taeyong’s hand slid down between you. You squeezed your eyes shut. It would be over in a minute; that’s what your friends were always joking about, right?
Then, you heard the unmistakeable clink of his belt buckle. Suddenly, that was the most terrifying sound you’d ever heard.
“W-wait,” you croaked.
You clung onto Taeyong’s firm wrist.
He was breathing hard, his pulse pounding under his papery-thin skin. You were sat on his lap – so you could feel how ready he was, and it frightened you.
He would hate you for what you were about to say, you knew that.
“I can’t. I’m sorry.”
You rolled away from him, pulling your knees up and hugging them. Burying your wet eyes in your knees, you waited for Taeyong to leave.
But you didn’t feel him get off the bed.
Instead, there was absolute silence. A shiver ran down your spine.
Then, his muscled arms were wrapping around you. Taeyong eased you till you were lying on the bed – fear closed in your throat – but he wasn’t trying to have sex with you. Instead, he helped you pull your T-shirt back on, and guided you so your head was resting on his chest.
You felt his thundering heartbeat slow to a steady, comforting pulse.
Taeyong pressed a kiss on your temple. For a second, your stomach curled; it was so fatherly. You mentally scolded yourself. Taeyong wasn’t like other guys. He was caring, and sensitive, and you should be grateful.
“If you wanna go slow, let’s go slow. You’ll always be my girl,” Taeyong whispered.
So, you pushed down the niggling feeling that ‘always’ had an expiry date. It was time you learnt to trust someone, and Taeyong was the perfect person to let in.
---
Over the next few months, you tried your best to forget about that night. And it was easy enough – Taeyong was electrifying.
You’d never met a man who could tell a Basquiat from a Banksy and didn’t even show off about it.
Each night, after lectures, you’d sneak off to some gallery late opening, and take photos of each other for Instagram.
Or, you’d just snuggle up in his dorm room and listen to him telling you all about his Art History course, or his dreams of starting his own gallery.
You rarely spoke. You preferred to soak in his world, like a cat curled in the sun. And let’s face it – who wanted to talk about Maths, anyway?
Taeyong was like a shooting star: totally uncontrollable, impossible to understand, yet hopelessly fascinating. You couldn’t believe why someone like him seemed to find you interesting. Or at least, worth spending every day with.
---
The second time Taeyong scared you was a Saturday.
You were sitting in his lap, poring over one of his Art History books. Other than toying with a curl of your hair, or pressing a kiss to your shoulder, Taeyong was totally still.
Sighing with pleasure, you flicked through the glossy pages – for the hundredth time. No wonder Taeyong would always say: If I wasn’t rubbish at Maths, we should’ve swapped courses.
Just then, you prised open a page you hadn’t seen before. You frowned.
It was a scan of an old Japanese painting. In it, a wealthy couple were captured in a furious argument with a young woman, carrying a baby. It was entitled ‘Outside Wife’.
You turned to Taeyong, finger on the title. “What’s that?”
Taeyong lifted the book from your hands, then grinned. “It’s when a noble couple are forced to get married, but the man has another wife to, you know, satisfy his needs.” Taeyong chuckled dryly. “Unfortunately, that system isn’t available anymore.”
You began to chuckle too… then your smile melted from your face. “What do you mean, unfortunately?” Goosebumps rippled over your skin.
“Ah… it was just a joke. You know, we’re not exactly getting any.” Taeyong’s body still felt relaxed under you, but your muscles were tensing.
“I thought you said you wanted to go slow…” you mumbled.
Of course. You should’ve seen this coming.
There was only so long a person could go without their needs fulfilled. And here you were, dragging your boyfriend down while he could sleep with any normal girl whenever he wanted.
“I’m not ready yet, Taeyong.” You picked at the frayed wool of your jumper.
Your throat closed as you prepared for what you would say next. “If you… need to sleep with someone else, I won’t blame you,” you whispered. Stupid, babyish tears were filling your eyes already.
“Babe – it was just a joke! No need to get your knickers in a twist.” Taeyong laughed, and kissed your neck.
When you still didn’t make a sound a moment later, Taeyong turned you around on his lap so you were facing him. Tears streaked freely down your cheeks – you couldn’t hide them.
“Oh, baby….” Soft as a whisper, Taeyong placed his palm on your cheek and smoothed away the tears with his thumb. “I don’t care about your… problem. You’re my girlfriend, and what’s good enough for you’s good enough for me.”
A small part of you hurt at the way he said problem, but you pushed that part away. You allowed him a small smile.
Laughing, Taeyong pulled you into a bear hug. You’d never gripped his shoulder so tight. You were so lucky to have him.
----
A few weeks later, Taeyong finally convinced you to accompany him to a house party. You knew what this meant. You’d been dating for four months – this was the ‘meeting his friends’ moment.
All the time you were getting ready, your stomach had transformed into a pit of snakes. Excitement, anxiety, fear – they all wriggled and knotted about inside you.
You chose a midnight-blue playsuit, in a glimmering velvet. When Taeyong pointed it out to you in the shop, you knew this what you’d be wearing.
To be honest, you hated Taeyong’s friends. You were pretty sure Taeil had tried to sneak vodka into your coke, and Mark did nothing but yap on endlessly about his girlfriend in Canada. You were almost 100% sure she didn’t exist.
But as soon as Taeyong’s mahogany eyes met yours across in the heaving living room, all your worries melted away like snow. All he had to do was raise one deep eyebrow, or pull his plump lips into a silly face, and you’d burst out laughing.
Except, as the hours drew by, you realised you hadn’t seen Taeyong in a while. You were perched on the stairs, shivering next to everyone who was too zoned out to take part.
“Taeyong?”
Tip-toeing, you climbed up the stairs, calling his name. You pushed open each of the doors in the hallway, peeking through your fingers just in case anything funny was going on.
But they were all empty.
Just as you turned around to go back downstairs, you heard voices coming from the attic. Gingerly, you sneaked up. They grew louder, more defined.
Pushing open the door just a crack, you heard:
“Really? My god.”
Your heart jumped. You knew that rich, resounding tone better than your own voice. It was Taeyong.
You considered climbing up to join them. But then, you heard something that stopped you in your tracks.
“And the worst thing is, Irene thinks she’s some kind of sex goddess, but actually she’s awful. She just lies there like a limp doll, expecting me to do everything.” It was Doyoung speaking.
There was a pause as they all laughed.
Your heart was already twisting. Something about his tone felt… wrong. Like his girlfriend wouldn’t appreciate what he was saying.
Then, you heard Taeyong say, “Mate, at least your girlfriend’s fucking you, even if she is awful at it. I haven’t got any for months!”
Everyone in the group exclaimed in disbelief. You forgot how to breathe.
“Yeah – I know. Y/n thinks she’s some kind of saint for “waiting for the perfect moment”. I mean, a guy’s got needs!” Taeyong’s voice was low, but to you he could have been screaming.
Black spots were engulfing your vision. Gulping, you staggered backwards, out of the door. You didn’t want to hear what you heard next. You really didn’t want to.
But you couldn’t help it. Not when Taeyong said, “You know, I don’t even feel bad about fucking Joy. I mean, I had no choice. If Y/n wasn’t so frigid, I wouldn’t need to. It’s her fault really.”
That was it.
You sprinted away. Pushing through the line of partygoers waiting to use the bathroom, you locked yourself inside.
Then, you curled up on the toilet seat and sobbed.
It had finally happened.
Your gorgeous boyfriend had finally realised that he was miles out of your league. He didn’t deserve the defect. He didn’t deserve the fake feminist who was too ashamed to admit how sexist she really was.
Then, a thought entered your mind that make you perk up.
Maybe you could pretend you’d never overheard Taeyong. Maybe you could go back to how you were before… Or maybe you could sleep with him and make him forget about all other girls.
After all, you’d do anything to keep him.
Anything.
Read Part 2 here.

finals never end
summary: as finals approach, i would like to imagine that there is something more to college than studying alone in a box for 14 hours a day. so, here's a modern au of the genshin boys as college students.
Characters included: Diluc, Kaeya, Childe, Xiao, Zhongli
Diluc:
- Who are we kidding, this bitch is a legacy at some pricy Ivy League. Hates when people bring it up though since he just wants to be his own person and not rely on his family name to get through things.
- Majors in business because of course he does. Rushed a business frat because it seemed like a good idea. Didn't get a bid and has since boycotted greek life.
- Eventually people find out who his father is and he starts to get bombarded by people who just basically want to use him for networking. Gets approached by girls (and sometime guys) after class like literally every day, asking if he wants to study with them sometime or just "hang out" both because he's hot and because he's rich. He never gives them the time of day but that never stops them.
- Goes to the same school as Kaeya but ignores him every time he tries to talk to him or just come back into his life. Kaeya usually takes it in stride but every else is super confused about how the two of them actually know each other.
- Walks you home from class when it starts to get darker earlier, apparently only because he doesn't have anything better to do. A gentleman through and through.
"Don't you have a meeting right now?"
"You staying safe is more important right now. They'll understand."
Kaeya:
- You know that one guy who is always out partying and who you never see studying but somehow makes the Dean's List every single semester without fail? Yeah, that's Kaeya.
- He's probably like an engineering or hard science major too and all his friends are absolutely pissed when he fucks up the curve every single time.
"You got a 98 on the orgo final???" "What, like it's hard?"
- Not as much of a hoe as everyone thinks he is. He definitely has his fun but he's not that guy who has slept his way through his entire major.
- Surprisingly enough, he's not actually in a frat, he just always knows where all the parties are. He's that guy with a snap score in the millions because everyone and their cousin hits him up every Friday night to ask where the parties are at.
-Generally seen as a really easy person to talk too. Also really good at seeming open with people without actually ever opening up and sharing anything about himself.
- With his very few close friends however, he has some strange hobbies that he's always happy to have someone to share with.
-Will take you on a picnic date about a mile off campus where you guys each way too much cheese and crackers, drink about a bottle of wine each, and watch the stars come out as the sun sets. Give the boy some love. That's all he really wants.
Venti:
-Your local friendly performing arts major who you never find without a huge iced coffee and cuffed jeans.
- He's super involved in a bunch of student organizations from improv to a few music clubs and the like. He's that person that everyone in his major knows and comes to for recommendations about new things that they should try out.
- He's in a band! They play indie songs at rotating bars every Tuesday and Thursday night and go to conferences once a semester for aspiring artists. Also sometimes will randomly perform on the Quad and serenade the random people passing by just trying to get to class.
-Offers to play at an event a club you're in is hosting as long as there's free snacks.
- Kind of an alcoholic? Not a partier in the traditional sense, but at least twice a week, he'll host a hangout where he and anyone who decides to show up get wine drunk and watch a shit ton of Gilmore Girls. BYOB of course because there's no way he could afford it on his own. Has shown up to class still drunk before but he's cute so everyone forgives him.
- Impromptu photo shoots all the time with him. Whether its a cute random flower patch, the soft neon signs outside of a boba shop, or graffiti painted onto a building wall, everything is an insta opportunity.
Xiao:
- That mysterious kid sitting in the back of your lecture wearing all black who is both undeniably hot and also exceedingly intimidating.
- Either an animal sciences major because animals are just better than humans, or he's like like history/english and spends a lot of time reading.
- He's that guy who stops communicating after the first day of your group project and you're really worried that they're just not going to finish their work but they end up sending it to you perfectly complete like a week early. Also, will talk/text you one-on-one but dislikes group meetings and group chats.
- He's in a band too! They actually play with Venti and his friends a lot and even though he admires him a lot, he's never gotten around to actually talking to Venti.
- Doesn't let people come over because then his frighteningly large collection of Funko-Pops and anime merch will be revealed.
- Also a dancer! He's not on a team or anything since he had some bad experiences with teams when he was younger, but he heads down to the studio at least 2 times a week just to move and let out some stress. If he offers to teach you sometime, that means he really really likes you.
- Asked if you wanted to go see the Demon Slayer movie with him and then showed up in a black mask and sunglasses because he didn't want anyone to recognize him.
Childe:
- Idk why but he kind of gives off athlete vibes??? Maybe like a basketball player or something?
- A bit of a campus celebrity just in that basically everyone, even if they aren't in the same major or aren't into sports, or just basically have no connection to him, still somehow know about him.
- He's a PR major and that charm is no joke. Some people kind of despise him because of the way he is literally able to effortlessly win over all of the recruiters and just random people he meets. He's extremely well-loved and he knows it.
- He's in a frat but outside of like mandatory events, doesn't spend all that much time with them. When he does party though, he goes hard.
- Doesn't actively flirt with anyone but he's just so charming and amiable that sometimes it comes across that way. Girls are always like "he's so respectful and nice I'm in love with him." He never feels the same way.
- Extremely competitive. Like the most competitive person you have literally ever met. He has to win everything and if he doesn't, he'll just keep trying and trying until he does. Literally the worst person to play beer pong with because he's not letting you go until he wins.
- Asks you to come to his games even though you barely even know the rules. If he does see you in the crowd, he gets way too hyped but plays the best he has all season. Make sure you take the credit for it.
Zhongli:
- That guy in your required philosophy class who argues with the professor. Not in an annoying "I'm smart and want an excuse to mansplain" kind of way though. He's actually just absurdly well-read and wants to discuss things instead of just listening to someone talk.
- People get annoyed with him because he's kind of disrupting class but if you actually listen to what he's saying, his ideas make a lot of sense and are kind of a mind-fuck at times.
- Has an extensive collection of plants at home and somehow manages to keep all of them alive and thriving. Also collects antique tea sets and goes to great lengths to make sure that they are taken care of.
- Probably actually a philosophy or anthropology major. Always has a new book recommendation and he's a darling who actually reads from every genre.
- Spends his free time going to museums in the area or visiting historical landmarks that are close enough to the university. Loves walking everywhere so that he can just take time to enjoy scenery and the like.
- You mention that there's a new exhibit at the local art gallery and he says that he's actually going there that evening if you would like to join him. And I mean, why would you refuse?
A.N. I'm gonna go back to studying now! Hope you enjoyed!

I’m Not Jealous
request: more dom!daphne x reader? Thank you!
Summary: the press have seen you and Daphne together, but your relationship hasn’t been confirmed, so speculations are made.
Characters: Daphne Kluger x fem!reader, a real-life actress cameo ;)
Word Count: 2,121
Warnings: SMUTTT. you know how this goes :) dom!daphne & jealousy!
“People are staring at you,” Daphne whispered in your ear as she wound an arm around your waist, flashing a sweet smile at the cameras.
“They’re looking at you,” you chuckled, pressing close to her. “It’s not every day a big-wig celebrity is out shopping.”
“Hmph,” Daphne put her sunglasses back on, you following suit, before pulling you to the nearest restaurant. Your arms ached from the bags hanging off of your wrists.
“Table for two, please, pronto,” Daphne sighed, startling the host who was stacking some new menus. He was about to protest until he realized who was talking to him, and the cameramen pressed up against the front door windows, trying to get a good shot at the actress.
There was a seat in the back, away from the windows, close to the kitchen where chefs were bustling and cooking relentlessly. You would be shielded here, even if just momentarily.
“Daph.. this is a steakhouse.”
“Yeah, so?”
“Are you sure you wanna eat here? You told me you don’t like steakhouses, cause of your diet.”
“Do you want me to drag you out there again?” Daphne raised a sleek eyebrow at you, and you raised your hands in mock defeat.
“Very well, m’lady.”
“This’ll have to do,” she skimmed through the menu, lips pursing as she read through the options, “I’m starving after such a busy day.”
A day that had consisted of manicures and a shopping spree. Not that you were complaining, of course.
Comfortable silence followed. Daphne picked at your side of fries as you ate, just like she always did, when suddenly your phone pinged. You ignored it.
Then it pinged again. And again. A series of text messages from friends and colleagues that read OMG and you sly devil! and other sorts of teasing, confusing texts.
You got a couple of fresh news article links, and intrigued, you opened some.
And then you nearly choked on your drink. Daphne, startled, quickly asked what’s wrong.
You coughed, “...People seem to think I’m involved with.. Anne Hathaway? What the hell?”
“Oh, really?” Daphne’s voice was light, but tense. You scrolled through your phone again, pictures of the other actress jogging your memory.
“Oh, yeah, cause I ran into her at that gallery last week! Remember? You had something to present, and you got me that extra ticket. I ended up sitting next to her in the audience when you were on.”
Daphne scoffed, “everyone knows Annie is straight. She’s got a kid too, for crying out loud.”
“Okay wait, this is hilarious though,” you mumbled around a mouthful of steak, “listen to this... Mystery gal seen in tow with Daphne Kluger a week after getting comfy with Anne Hathaway... Hathaway and Kluger: fighting over damsel?... serial heartbreaker or love birds?”
“What the hell?” Daphne bristled, nearly yanking the phone out of your hand, “I swear to god, tabloids are the absolute worst.”
“I think it’s funny. They don’t have any proof other than I’ve spent time with both of you. They don’t even know your sexuality, so what’s the worry?”
“Hmph,” Daphne chewed aggressively on one of your fries. They were almost all gone, and you had barely touched them.
“You’re not jealous, are you?”
“Absolutely not,” Daphne snapped, and you suppressed a smile. “I hate how they feed lies into the media, that’s all. There’s always going to be people who believe them, too.”
“Yeah, but they don’t matter. I can call Anne right now and settle it? Maybe she can come join us for dinner sometime-”
“No! I- I mean.. let’s not. Let’s not bother her, right?”
You reached over and grabbed her hand, and Daphne sighed, flicking her hair over her shoulder,
“Maybe I should just come out and tell them about us. I’m getting tired of this. They’re thinking that I stole you from her. When they should be worried about it happening the other way around.”
“You don’t think that’s actually going to happen, do you?” You asked, startling her. She hadn’t expected you to take what she said that way, and she was lost for words for a moment.
“Come on, call your driver, we should go home,” you suggested, “I’m full anyways, aren’t you?”
-
“We didn’t even get to that shoe store downtown,” Daphne grumbled as you got inside her second city apartment safely.
“I can call Hathaway,” you teased, smirking as you dumped the bags in the front hall, “she could get us in-”
A finger hooked in the collar of your shirt and pulled you backwards, Daphne catching you and pulling you close, hot breath wafting over your ear.
“Don’t say her name,” she growled. You wriggled your hips, trying to escape her grasp.
“So you are jealous?”
“No.”
“You’re a great actress, Daph, but you can’t always hide-”
“Fine.”
Daphne pushed you forward until you were pressed against the kitchen counter. Her hands tugged at your shirt and pressed against the soft skin of your stomach. Your breath hitched.
“I am jealous. Alright? I’m so fucking jealous at the thought of all those people thinking you’re with her when you’re mine. And will always be mine.”
“Tell them, then,” you said, head tipping back onto her shoulder and your breath hoarse. “Let’s tell the world.”
“I suppose it’s about time, right?” Her hands grabbed your hips and she rolled hers against you with a slow, maddening pace.
“Y-yeah,” you whimpered, because now she was sucking her neck. You could faintly see yourself in the reflection of the cupboard door glass, and dark lipstick was already smudging on your skin.
“You can tell them now, if you want,” Daphne’s voice was lilting, seductive, and your brain was trying to catch up with what she was saying.
“Now?”
“Yes. When I fuck you so hard that you’ll be screaming my name so loudly every paparazzi in town will hear it.”
You laughed, because Daphne was always so private with her sexual escapades, and you knew that would never happened. But you toyed with the idea in your mind briefly, just for fun.
The fantasy escaped you, however, when Daphne’s hands began pushing past your waistband.
“B-bedroom?” you pleaded.
Daph relented, but only briefly, to make sure you both watched your step as you got to the bedroom.
You wanted to pull her dress off, but she tutted.
“Not so fast,” she whispered and you stilled. She pressed against your shoulders until your back hit the mattress and yanked your hands up above your head.
“Hng- wait- the clothes-,” you mumbled deliriously, distracted by her cleavage in her formfitting dress.
“Shush,” she said, as if scolding a child, “all in good time.”
She unclipped the belt that sat at her waist and created a rough resemblance to a pair of handcuffs that chained you to the headboard.
Then her hands pulled your shirt up, over your head, and bunched it around your wrists. The same happened with your bra. You felt their fabric wound around your hands and wrists, cushioning against the metal of the headboard.
Daphne straddled you for a moment, the dress riding up until you cold see her lacy underwear peeking out from underneath. You felt your arousal coursing through your body now, and she raked her newly manicured fingers up your sides, making you shiver.
“If only they knew, hm?” she chuckled, tucking some stray hair behind her ear. She raised herself up on her knees, arms stretching to unzip her dress from behind, and slowly tugged it down.
With every extravagant motion of a silver screen actress she deftly pushed her dress down, revealing her bra, breasts threatening to spill over, and you felt yourself salivate.
Then she turned around, and you watched, gaping as she pulled the rest of her dress over her ass and down her long legs.
“Fuck,” you whimpered, hips bucking up at the sight. You rubbed your thighs together, desperate.
Eventually, Daphne tossed the dress to the side and faced you again. She sat on your stomach, unabashedly grinding against your abdomen, her knees spread wide.
“D-Daphne,” you gasped. She had pulled one cup of her bra down and was tugging at a rosy nipple. Her lower lip was caught by her teeth and she looked down at you with a grin.
“Need more, baby?” she asked, voice rough. You nodded, straining against the multiple things holding your hands together. Your pants felt unbearably tight now. You wanted her skin, wanted to feel her, your body heat suffocating you in the fabric.
“God, you look so needy,” she chuckled. “It makes me so wet, you know that?”
Her hand left her breast and pushed into her underwear, fingers immediately rubbing her clit as she rocked on top of you.
“N-not fair,” you whined, pressing up again, making her gasp softly.
“I’ll decide what’s fair,” she retorted, and her other hand snaked behind her to sneak past your own waistband and press snugly against your cunt.
Your voice came out in a choked cry. It felt nice- warm and wet and her long fingers rubbed vigorously, but it wasn’t enough. The fabric of your pants held her hand in place, in the wrong place, and she was obviously getting distracted by touching herself that you couldn’t get any proper friction.
You spread your legs as wide as possible, pushing her closer with your thighs and you wriggled for her attention. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked down at you and your pleading eyes.
“Not enough?” she asked, a finger slipping around your clit, but not touching where you needed it. You furiously shook your head, and she flashed her award-winning smile.
“That’s too bad then, isn’t it?”
She swiftly took off her underwear and before you knew it her cunt was settling over your face. You whined in protest as her hand left your pulsing clit and she fisted it in your hair instead.
“Give me that tongue and maybe I’ll let you cum,” she gasped.
She cooed soft praise as you followed through, tongue sliding out to suck and lick her wet skin desperately.
“Hungry, are we?” Daphne chuckled, her breath catching as you suckled at her clit. “Didn’t get enough at the steakhouse?”
You hummed in the back of your throat as you pushed your tongue deeply inside her and she groaned. Her milky thighs trembled and tensed at the sides of your head and she pressed closer to you.
You breathed in heavily through your nose, catching her sweat and arousal and bucked your own hips in response.
Taking pity, Daphne’s hand slipped back behind her, clumsily nudging your pants away until her fingers roughly found your cunt and pushed inside of you. You whined against her cunt, your pace stuttering for a moment.
“Don’t slack off,” she said, her other hand tugging at your hair in reprimand. Your fingers twitched and tensed above you, wishing you could touch her.
She slipped her bra off completely as she rocked on your face. Her hand pressed deeply inside of you, wriggling and nudging against your front walls with strong fingers.
“Make me cum,” she ordered breathily, her hips stuttering, and you pressed your tongue against her clit until she gushed into your mouth, sweet and intoxicating. Her soft, high-pitched groans contrasted with the iron grip she had on your cunt.
Now that she had nothing else to focus on her hand picked up a sure pace. She lifted off of your face to let you breathe, only for you to gasp and beg,
“Please- please, please please..”
Daphne chuckled, two fingers pinching and rolling the hood over your clit, and you were done for.
You felt sweat and slick sliding down the inside of your thighs and she kept rubbing lightly as your orgasm rushed over you. Your abdomen convulsed and shivered through the sensations until your senses could return to normal and you saw Daphne staring at you lovingly from above.
Her hands reached forward and tugged the restraints off of your wrists. You felt blood rush back to your arms as they dropped by your sides, but you were too distracted by sucking and kissing her breasts hanging so close to your face to notice.
Daphne squealed as you nipped her skin and cradled your head closely before pulling you up for a deep kiss.
“Love you,” you mumbled against her lips.
“I know,” she muttered, making you chuckle. Her hands worked the rest of your clothes off and then she laid down by your side, stretching like a cat, a leg hooking over yours as she kissed your face.
The shopping bags remained unpacked in the front hall for the rest of the night.

Bitch in Heat Stuck Under Debris Gets WRECKED
a miki mouse whorehouse collab, the m.list you can find here
cw: sexual harrassment, abo themes, dubcon kinda
as the poor quality picture can’t really show you, I got stuckage and I chose Bakugo with the finishing touch of making it ABO <3 It’s also two days late but shhhhh we don’t talk about it uwu also 2.7 words of pain enjoy
katsuki bakugou is becoming a thorn in your side.
you’ve both been metaphorically and somewhat literally glued to each others sides since highschool. it’s not necessarily a bad thing, to be quite frank katsuki is something of a deterrent in a world of second genders and pheromones— something you capitalized on in high school.
being an omega hero isn’t something entirely world shattering, but it’s a position that comes with lots of stereotypes— stereotypes you fought tooth and nail to fight against in your younger years. being one of four omegas in your class was...irritating, to say the least. lots of preconceived notions that you needed to be helped with trivial things, and while your classmates intentions came from a good place it was maddening. save for katsuki, back when he had no restraint with his anger and aggression, he didn’t coddle you like your classmates did. Labeled a brute for his actions towards his omega classmates in trivial interaction or sparring, you thrived on the normality— katsuki was an ass to everyone. Your omega was placated, finally encountering an alpha who wasn’t belittling her with preconceived daintiness.
it was easy to hang near katsuki, ignoring the atrocity that was his vocabulary. eventually like the rest of the peanut gallery that was the bakusquad, you just existed alongside katsuki— which meant that you grew on him. katsuki swears up and down that you’re all a nuisance but you’ve seen him go up to bat for all you at some point, you knew you’d all made some sort of ragtag pack with one another. this was rather amazing to you at the time, not to sell yourself short but you’d never really imagined belonging to a close knit group of friends— especially realizing that they understood when it was appropriate to step in for you. katsuki in particular had a knack for being at the right place at the right time.
During your second year you fumbled.
interning with miruko had its perks, a top 5 hero with raw strength, cunning, and the drive to just keep going— and an omega. landing and internship with her had been a dream, even more-so when you learned she’d been watching you since your first year because of the festival. bright eyed and eager, nothing could have dampened your spirits— neither katsuki and his usual moody behavior or the standoffish alpha from shiketsu. yes, you all had landed an internship with miruko and part of you was...worried? katsuki had never looked down on heroes based on their second genders but you couldn’t speak for the shiketsu alpha, both alphas interning under an established omega hero put your inner omega on edge— you didn’t quite know why though. but you chose to squash the feeling and enjoy your internship with who was essentially your idol and continue on.
then you started getting sexually harassed.
his name was omori kisai and he was the worst. hailing from shiketsu, known for their dignified schooling, he was far from it. salacious comments dropped when no one was listening, less that appropriate touching when passing by and just general ick that had your skin crawling and omega snarling. it was easy to brush it off as banter the first time, section off the awkward contact as an accident. The second time you made it clear the comments were not liked and the touches far from appropriate, after the third time you’d snap an insult or have to hold a trembling fish from making contact. but it was coming to a head and your suppressors could only do so much to hide your souring scent. looking back you should have said something, but your pride had told you that it was a necessary step to overcome and push through— that he wouldn’t be the last. it weighed you down, day by day, a heavy cloud that wouldn’t let up. one particular bad timed comment brought tears to eyes and shame to your entire being.
thankfully, as time would come to show, katsuki tended to nose into your dilemmas.
the day prior to the abrupt end of your harassment you’d been tripped up by a villian and had fallen a sizeable distance into a pitiful excuse of pond. of course, omori had taken this as an open invitation to mock you and then offer you his shitty hero costume cloak— not without hinting at you returning the favor ‘somehow’. yeah right. you had stomped off, unaware of katsuki’s presence nearby. come next day, omori avoided you like the plague and katsuki not so subtly stuck to your side like an unwilling chowchow— all growly and temperamental. but his constant presence rubbed his scent off on you. despite his less than chummy attitude, you weren’t mad; katsuki smelled like cinnamon spice and whiskey with hints of burnt caramel— absolutely overpowering yet decadent all the same.
you tried not to think about just how much you enjoyed his smell. your omega was purring about it.
the omori incident was the beginning of katsuki’s subtle hovering. though you pried the truth of his involvement in omori leaving you alone after offhandedly bringing it up to mina and jirou one day, katsuki helped you out of situations as invasively as possible time and time again. by the end of third year it was no secret to you of your classmates teasing of your relationship with katsuki; an amiable and prideful omega and the irritable powerhouse of an alpha. you brushed it off because...well you didn’t know why, but katsuki’s seeming indifference to the teasing had you quelling every jittery happiness your inner omega expressed at the thought of katsuki being your alpha.
now, three years out of highschool and beginning to climb the ranks, katsuki was becoming testy— and for the life of you the reason couldn’t be more opaque. you both work at the same agency, and due to the nature of your quirks you spend all your time together due to their compatibility. compatibility was a bitter word for you, katsuki and yours supposed compatibility had been talked about for some time now but the sobering reality is that perhaps you two were simply good friends— and now sharing your omegas endearment for the explosive alpha had reared its ugly head.
your heat was a week away and already you felt the familiar fatigue begin to lap at you alongside general moodiness. all that coupled with the annoying need to be around katsuki was maddening and sprinkling his own extra grouchy attitude on top and you were ready to snap. in hindsight, that should have been your cue to take an extra week off— instead you chose to once again to champion pride instead of your intellect.
you could have stayed home this morning, you should have.
patrol had been slow, not particularly unusual but favored nonetheless. face raised to the slowly dipping sun you couldn’t help but sigh, the warmth of the late afternoon sun was heaven sent-- you could sleep standing up with much issue. it remided you katsuki, strangely enough though most things did recently.
the sound of screaming and rushing feet shook you from your drowsy stupor. Set on alert, you spied the source of the sudden discordance and found several villains causing a commotion. quickly calling for backup for you before finding yourself facing a hulking mass of green charging you head on. tranquility gone, it was time to fight.
the ache in your body could not be more apparent but your humiliation ran more rampant in your system than any ache or pain could, your fatigue more than present as your body hummed with warmth. leave it to you to get stuck face down and ass up amongst the trashed ruins of what was an office building, weighed down between a broken desk and a collapsed bookshelf. the villain you had engaged with, some self-named idiot calling himself cruel croc, packed a punch and your bruised body and rendered office floor were a testament to that. of course, you’d done quite the bit of damage to him yourself before the entire floor collapsed underneath you both— rendering the meathead unconscious under a rather hefty pile of concrete and debris whereas you were pinned and to utterly weak to do much.
the thrum of your heat was beginning its path of vengeance through your body, feeling too pliant to get yourself out of what was otherwise easy to fix problem. you were feeling it, bad. the heat of your clothed cunt was beginning to become too apparent, unconsciously squeezing your thighs to provide relief to no avail. no, this could not be happening right now of all times. but as much as your inner monologue fought to try and will away your heat, the warmth was becoming too much and sudden breeze of wind had you trembling and whining. the feel of slick beginning to wet your hero costumes spandex set your hazing thoughts into sudden panic, if cruel croc woke up or if another villain came across you would they be above...the thought alone could’ve made you puke. flashbacks to second year had you bucking wildly for freedom, you wouldn’t let anyone have the opportunity for—
“ OI! Shitty ‘mega were are you? Are you—“
you stilled, biting hard to keep your mouth shut. your omega was whimpering, desperate for the alpha, HER alpha to relieve her from her heat. on a normal day she could melt into his scent, but right now? she could drown in it and die happy. with his scent getting stronger the closer katsuki clambered toward you, the more the head haze grew-- the slicker your thighs became. the whimper you let loose was pitiful, the need for some sort of stimulation to your cunt becoming near painful the longer you remained so close yet so far from katsuki. the pathetic little “alpha” you whined as you heard him quickly approach from behind would’ve been utterly embarrassing to you in any other situation.
but if you could have turned to see katsuki, you would’ve been met with the look of an unmistakably feral alpha-- pupils dilated to hell, fingernails blackened, and canines elongated and sharpened. but what you lacked in sight, you could hear and smell.
katsuki was the definition of an alpha as is, but the way he was pushing his scent out was like a big red sign that screamed ‘DANGER’. To you, it had you feeling utterly submissive-- if you weren’t already face down and ass up you certainly would’ve moved into position. practically salivating at the thought of what katsuki could do--
the heated palm on the globe of your ass is thought pausing, the sudden heated touch coaxing a sugary sweet moan from deep in your throat-- the small touch quickly turning to rough palming at your moaning. tt feels so good, but you want more. need more.
“Please, need more Alpha” it's breathy and whiny, something you're far from day to day but it feels too natural escaping you. mewling at the ghost of a touch over your clothed cunt, your blubbering when it presses harder-- escalating you to tears of frustration when it ceases. practically feeling katsuki’s harsh breathing near your cunt you begin to wiggle and wail with all manner of unrestrained vigor; chanting alpha and katsuki like a prayer and begging for relief like a sinner for forgiveness. it’s working, you know it is, if katsuki’s breathing is anything to go by but he refuses any further touching. you want katsuki everyday, but right now you need him.
“Only want you Katsuki, please it’s only been you,” you hiccup your words through a shrill plea, but the tearing of your soaked spandex sends an excited chill down your spine. your legs tremble with excitement when katsuki grips the tops of your thighs and spreads them-- revealing your drooling cunt. it’s both too much and not enough all at once and you wiggle once more, yelping from a smack to your left ass cheek. it’s not particularly painful, not even as katsuki rubs over it right after the hit, but it quells your wiggling nonetheless. you open your mouth to urge him on but he beats you to it.
“No one else, you got that ‘mega? No one gets to see you like this, no gets to touch you like this-- your mine,” he punctuates his declaration with two of his deliciously thick fingers in your cunt and you squeal, “ you got that? I’m your alpha, always have been always will be.” nodding despite yourself, you struggle for words with his fingers pumping in and out alongside the ghost of pressure on your clit “Yes! Yes, I’m yours Katsuki!” you babble your words already teetering on the precipice of your first orgasm. it takes a pickup in pace and a rough rub along your clit and your wailing, slick streaming down your thighs as your first orgasm crashes into you.
despite the pleasant haze in your head, you faintly hear zippers being undone and the shuffling of clothes. licking your lips, you perk your ass up as much as the heavy bookcase allows, purring in excitement like a spoiled cat. The rough grab of your hips leaves you gasping, feeling the length of katsukis dick along your thigh-- long and heavy. you're salivating as he lines himself up with your weeping cunt, ramming his entire length in you with little regard. stars shoot across your vision and your ears deafen, crying out at being so full. it feels wonderful being stuffed this full and you babble it to katsuki. if you could see him, you would see just how prideful and smug he looked-- only he can take care of you like this, none of the other shitty alphas can take care of you this well.
katsuki sets a rough pace, drawing himself out slowly like he’s aiming for you to feel every vein of his dick before slamming back into you. your poor cunt clenches sporadically, drawing groans and growls from your alpha and all you can do is choke on broken moans because the way he feels churning your insides is downright sinful. you felt a band begin to tighten in your belly, your broken moans evolving into babbling-- how good katsuki was making you feel and how he was the only one who made you feel this good. it spurred him onward, fucking into you with more vigor alongside groans of your names and his own praise for you. “Good fuckin ‘mega”, “Takin’ me so well”, and “My perfect little mate” were some of the praise you could catch and had you preening. All of it combined you felt the band tighten and you couldn’t stop yourself from sobbing out. feeling the base of Katsuki’s length begin to swell, you could only salivate at the thought of being knotted.
“Want your knot Katsuki! Alpha I need it”
at your blubbering demand, katsuki faltered in pace for only a moment before a deep mix of a groan and growl ripped from his throat. grabbing and bending your leg upwards he fucked deeper and faster into your battered cunt, the new angle sending you hurtling into your orgasm. eyes rolled back and tongue, you felt utterly boneless-- momentarily brain dead before screaming out at Katsuki knotting you, his own groan of pleasure mixing with yours as he filled you impossibly full with his seed.
trembling underneath him, you were only a fraction aware of movement above you before the weight of the bookcase vanished from you. weakly you glance back up at your alpha. your surprised to see just how feral he looks, no doubt you’ve pushed him into his rut. whimpering as he moves down upon you, he nibbles and kisses along your jaw and neck before biting down on you scent gland. a flash a white hot pain curtailed by just as intense pleasure wracks your wrecked body but the dopy look of happiness pulls a low purr from katsuki.
you wanna say something, anything, but your too exhausted and as katsuki knot subsides you let another weak whimper as he removes himself-- feeling his seed spill from your battered cunt. he pulls a quiet moan from you as he gathers some of it a pushes back in-- and a glance at his smug face lets you know that he’s decidedly not done with you yet.

Butterfly
order 015, anon: large banana milk tea with lychee jelly and pudding for Asahi
Warnings: some angst (injuries, crying mentions) and food mentions
Summary: a coffee shop! enemies to lovers! soulmate!au all in one where Asahi, an expert barista and newbie!y/n's supervisor is easily angered by small mistakes, but ends up falling for his new employee as they begin to hone their craft, and even more so when he discovers the butterfly birthmark at the nape of their neck which matches his own.
*disclaimer! i'm not a barista but am writing using the minimal experience i have acquired after working in a place that makes coffee but isn't as artsy as a coffee shop,, so please forgive any inaccuracies!
[a/n] Alex if u see this LOOK IT'S A COFFEE SHOP AU HHH
After being lucky enough to get hired on the spot at your city's most famous coffee shop, you walk in on your first day, excited to make coffee and serve customers. The day does not greet you well, though, as your already nervous state is worsened when your supervisor and coworker, a dashing young man with black hair parted around his face, gives you a hard time.
Asahi is extremely cold and quiet, only yelling when he speaks to tell the employees to do their job right. He yells at you twice: once for forgetting to clean the steamed milk frother, and another time for when you serve the customers coffee that isn't fresh.
It leaves you feeling jittery to a point where you continue to make mistakes.
"[y/n], finish that order and meet me in the back," Asahi tells you, his voice completely emotionless.
Once you join him in the back, you find him sweeping, his hair falling in his eyes and prickling his nose. As soon as he notices you're there, he puts the broom away, pushing the hair out of his eyes before he turns to face you.
"[y/n], I realize that it's your first day, but you're doing an absolutely terrible job," he says.
"Our work here is more fast paced than you think, and if you can't handle it and keep getting nervous and slipping up, then I don't think we can keep you here."
Your bottom lip begins to tremble hearing the harsh criticism on what is only your first day, but luckily, a coworker who overheard everything steps in.
"Hey, Asahi! Big boss man, calm down. It's only their first day... stop being so hard on them," your coworker says, placing an arm around you.
When you look to see who it was, you discover that it's Junkyu, your bright and happy coworker who always does his job with a smile. Even just seeing him makes you smile, and he smiles back at you, patting your head.
"[y/n] is doing just great, so you can shut up!" Junkyu huffs, dragging you out and back onto the floor.
You may wonder why Junkyu was being so rude to his boss, but Asahi and Junkyu are actually close friends, so it's okay for them to get mad at each other like this.
"Don't listen to Asahi. He's like an old man sometimes," Junkyu says.
"And it's okay to get nervous! I was spilling so many things everywhere on my first day. Just take your time..." Junkyu explains, showing you how to do all the things that you messed up on before.
Asahi watches from the other side of the shop, feeling angry at the sight of Junkyu being so close to you, for some reason. He also thinks... he sees something on the back of your neck that matches his own birthmark, but he shrugs it off, telling himself he's just seeing things.
-
With the worst luck, you continue making mistakes every time Asahi shows up, and he scolds you for it in front of your coworkers and the customers each time. Sometimes, you have to rush to the break room to catch your breath and even cry it out, stare yourself down in the mirror and tell yourself that you're doing a great job.
"You're doing great, [y/n]! Don't worry about Asahi... you're doing great," you say.
Asahi, who is in the back of the shop in search of coffee grinds, overhears your pep talk and smiles to himself, immediately frowning as soon as you step out of the break room and face him, though.
"What are you doing? Get back out there!" he says.
You leave quickly and don't notice Asahi smiling at the way you waddle towards the front.
-
Despite being nervous at the beginning, your barista skills improve rapidly. You're able to master latte art after only a week and a half, creating pretty designs that are different for each customer. Your designs gain popularity and the shop grows busier with people waiting for you to hand them a pretty latte that you've designed.
Asahi still doesn't seem to want to give you praise of any sort, though, as he constantly points out your mistakes.
"It looks good, but does it taste good? You clearly went too heavy on the milk."
Even his your coworkers grow tired of Asahi, and everyone starts calling him angry bird Asahi behind his back with the way his eyebrows are pointed in a frown each time he comes to scold you.
For you, though, it doesn't matter anymore. You've found something you love and are improving in it rapidly, so Asahi's bitter attitude can't harm you anymore.
-
One short-staffed day, you're alone, closing the shop alongside Asahi. The two of you clean up in silence, save for Asahi's hushed hums as he sweeps.
Not noticing a paper bag on the ground, you trip on it and fall on your knees and hands.
Your yelp leaves Asahi rushing over, even though you thought he would just ignore your pain.
"[y/n], what happened?! Are you okay?" he asks, leaning down.
He pauses midway, staring at the back of your exposed neck. His fingers reach out in disbelief to touch what he sees, but he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable and stops himself.
A butterfly birthmark, just like the one on the back of his own neck. A shared butterfly birthmark in the same location: a sign of soulmates.
"I'm okay, I'm okay. I just tripped.
"Y-you're not bleeding or anything, right?" Asahi asks, suddenly breathless.
"Nope, all good!" you say, standing up and feeling confused at Asahi's flustered state.
"Are you okay? Why do you seem so panicked?" you ask.
"I'm... I was just worried that's all," he quickly says, returning to where he was sweeping.
He really found his soulmate despite not believing in the butterfly soulmate thing anyway....
-
Asahi is really weird around you for the next week, not scolding you anymore but just being super quiet and seemingly cautious around you. Everyone is confused as to what happened to angry bird Asahi, and feeling a little worried yourself, you approach him in his office on your break one day.
"Is everything okay, Asahi?"
"Hm? Yeah... why wouldn't it be?"
"I don't know... you just seem more quiet than usual."
Asahi stares at the ground, wondering if he should tell you about your shared birthmarks.
Ah heck, let's just go for it, he thinks to himself.
He swivels around in his hair, turning his back to you and holding up his hair at the back of his head.
"Does this look familiar to you?" he asks, pointing to the birthmark at the nape of his neck.
You gasp, feeling the back of your own neck.
The birthmark looks exactly the same...
"Wha-?"
"I don't know what to do. Because frankly, I don't believe in any of this soulmate crap, but we're really soulmates..." Asahi says.
Your eyes, on the other hand, are sparkling. You've believed in soulmates since the beginning and always wondered who would have the same birthmark as you. It's weird to think that angry bird Asahi is your soulmate, but you don't want to lose this chance.
"What else do we do but go on a date!" you say, hugging his arm out of excitement.
Asahi glares at you and you pull away, clearing your throat.
"Friday after work! Wait for me and we'll go somewhere," you say, excitedly leaving Asahi's office.
He places a hand on his heart, feeling it beat a little faster than usual.
-
Friday, you notice Asahi's hair is looking a little different - all straightened, neat and tidy. Asahi also doesn't fail to notice that you're looking a little fancier than your usual self. Even Junkyu bothers you about it, asking why you look really prim and proper today.
When Asahi's shift ends, he has an hour to kill until yours does, so he spends that time in his office at the back, watching you make pretty drinks with you latte art through the security cameras. He has a full view of your butterfly birthmark and suddenly wonders what it would be like if he was able to kiss it.
Finally as soon as your shift ends, you rush out, forgetting to say goodbye to everyone unlike you usually do, but also forgetting to punch out. Asahi reminds you to do that as soon as you step into his office. The way he smiles when you swing open the door, his teeth peeking out while his eyes hide away, makes you feel like he's happy to see you... though he's just giggling at your mistake.
Once you're punched out and ready to leave, you step out of there and take the bus to an art gallery that you've always wanted to explore. You notice Asahi staring down into your lap as you ride the bus, shyly looking at your hands, fidgeting his own and then looking away. You become the brave one for the both of you and take his hand in yours, smiling at the window when he looks at you.
You take your time looking at the artwork, both of you quietly walking while holding hands. You only talk to ask each other if you're ready to move on to the next piece.
After some time, though, Asahi speaks up and asks you if he can take a photo of you standing in front of a butterfly painting.
"Just keep looking at it and I'll take a photo from the back."
Once he stands behind you, you feel awkward and stiff in front of the camera, and it probably shows, as Asahi asks you to relax.
"Just be like you usually would!"
You try your best and Asahi eventually takes the photo.
"Can I see?" you ask him.
"Later," he says, smiling down at his phone.
On the floor below the gallery, there's a place to grab food and the two of you do just that, gushing about how cool the art in the gallery was and what your favourite pieces were. Asahi tries to imitate this robot statue you saw made of metal, and it makes you laugh so hard that you almost get kicked out.
"Asahi, I never thought you would be this fun," you say.
"Well, at work I do have to be somewhat professional," he says, smiling at you.
"At work you're just a jerk," you mumble, thinking Asahi can't hear you, even though he does.
He decides to stop being so hard on you at work, and actually follows through. Work becomes more enjoyable without angry bird Asahi and with all of the dates you go one with Asahi after work. Eventually, the two of you start to officially date, and Junkyu is shocked to his core.
"H-how did this happen...? And why did no one tell me!" he screeches when he finds out.
-
Asahi presses his lips to the back of your neck in the dark of the room, his lips curving into a smile when he hears your giggle.
"What are you doing, Sahi?"
"Something I've always wanted to do," he says, burying his face into your chest.
It's his turn to giggle as you run your fingers through his hair, tracing his butterfly birthmark with your finger.

Nature’s Altar
Pairing: Inspector Marcus Pike x Witch!Reader (Victorian AU)
Warnings: None. General spookiness.
Words: 1906
A/N: This is for this week’s WRITER WEDNESDAY challenge held by the wonderful @autumnleaves1991-blog & @clydesducktape. One day I won’t post this late but today is not that day. There is an angsty ending for those of you that like your hearts broken. It’s to be read instead of the last paragraph. You’ll find it at the end of this post. The quote in the alternate ending is one of Maya Angelou’s. Enjoy and do let me know how I’m doing in the comments please and thank you.
He was never afraid of the occult, mostly because he never had time to believe in it. Well, that’s not entirely true now was it? He never believed in the supernatural, until exactly ten minutes ago when he started walking through the graveyard and his mind began to play tricks on him. There was something eerie about graveyards, especially around this time of year where he noticed unnatural things taking place around him. But he was determined. He needed to scout this area now that he knew there was a high chance the gallery was, in fact, in this place. He just hoped it would be above ground in one of those abandoned mausoleums and not buried six feet under. He wasn’t sure if he’d be able to go deeper into this part of the estate without any backup. When he began to hear owls hooting and flying above his head along with the cracking branches not too far from him, his hand moved swiftly to the revolver hanging on his belt and he pulled back the hammer to prepare for the worst.
Suddenly, the foggy grounds grew quiet and he began to make his way towards the woods, praying to the Almighty that this was all in his head and there weren’t any supernatural beings spying on him. He was just beginning to brush the thoughts aside when he saw a figure moving across his peripheral vision. Knowing that he couldn’t wait for the worst, he ran towards the sound of the rustling leaves and held his revolver ahead of him in preparation. When he came to a halt, the air around him felt different but he had no time to dwell on the sudden change, his eyes finally making out the shape of the figure he saw not a moment ago.
There, beneath a dying willow tree, you stood dressed in a dark green and black dress and he was about to ask you to face him when he noticed you setting lilies upon a grave. He slowly began to lower his revolver, knowing that you were not dangerous to him. But then a passing wind came through the graveyard as soon as you lit candles near the tombstone and he realized that he may have been mistaken earlier.
“Do not worry Inspector Pike, they will not hurt you.” His eyes widened in horror and shock when you spoke to him and he wondered how you possibly knew who he was. As he was about to ask you why you were there, you stood up and turned around slowly, not giving him a chance to say anything as you approached him with caution so as to not scare him. It took him a few seconds to react and when you were not five feet away from him, he took out his revolver again but kept it aimed to the ground, knowing that you understood what he was willing to do should you try anything.
“Neither will I if I may add. Although, if it makes you feel safer, by all means, aim it at my head.” Your smile was soft but predatory and he wondered for a moment why he didn’t accept the help of the constables when they asked him earlier before he left the station.
“Who are you and what are you doing here?”
“Well, I am no one of concern. My identity will not help you in your investigation. However, I do believe you and I have a similar goal.” The more you spoke, the more difficult it became for him to focus on anything but the softness of your voice. God, this was not how he thought the day would go.
“And…what would that be?” He was cautious with his questions, hoping that you wouldn’t find offense in the way he was speaking with her.
“You are looking for the missing gallery, are you not?” You asked him and smiled when he realized that you probably knew the answer to your question but were feigning ignorance.
“H-how do you know about that?”
“I may be cut off from this world Inspector, but I do occasionally read the papers.” Your laugh would have been music to his ears had he not been absolutely terrified of what you were capable of. Something told him to be weary of you and even though he repeated in his mind over and over again that your kind couldn’t possibly exist, he was beginning to doubt his entire belief system now that you were present before his eyes.
“Why do you wish to find the gallery? Is there something that belongs to you?” As reluctant as he was, he decided to put away the revolver, knowing that such a weapon would probably do nothing to you.
“Far from it. You see, this place is…very dear to my heart. And I’d hate if more people like you came around snooping where they shouldn’t. It would anger them.” You removed the scarf from around your neck and he found himself drawn to the exposed skin of your jugular. When he forced his eyes away from your skin and held your gaze, he flushed with embarrassment at the smile that was gracing your features. God, you caught him.
“Anger who?” His brain finally registered your words and he gulped nervously when you stepped towards him until you were only a foot away.
“You know who. As much as you would hate to admit it…Marcus…they are all around you. In every sacred and non-sacred space, but mostly, in the forgotten places where people like are you afraid to enter for reasons other than death.” Chills ran down his spine and he willed himself to remain still and not run far away from you. When he shut his eyes and took a deep breath, he began to understand what you were referring to. The coldness that seeped into his skin. The unfamiliar sounds that increased and decreased depending on his own movement. The strange sensation of being watched.
They were here.
And then he opened his eyes slowly, and he swore he’s never seen a prettier pair of eyes in his entire life.
“You haven’t told me why you want the gallery to be found.” It was more of a statement than a question and he noticed the exact second your opinion of him changed. Your smile was no longer daring but welcoming, a little teasing even, and he couldn’t help but lick his lips as his attention descended down your features and zeroed in on your plump lips.
“It is nature’s altar my dear Inspector, it is meant to be peaceful and free of worldly problems. I would not see it be used to hide stolen property.” He missed your scent the moment your moved away from him and he was about to ask you where you were going when he felt the fabric of your scarf beneath his fingers. He looked down to inspect it before he returned his focus on you again, only to find your standing too far away to his liking from him.
“This will help you find what you are looking for. As for the thieves, I do believe the two youngest constables in your station already hold that information. Careful with whom you share this with though. Not everyone is as they seem.” Marcus couldn’t believe what he was hearing and as you turned around to walk away, he felt his heart almost beat out of his chest with how anxious he was of losing you.
“Wait, please.” He called out for you and thanked the heavens when you stopped and turned around for him once more.
“Is this not enough?” You asked with a frown and Marcus shook his head as he nervously played with the olive green scarf in his hands.
“I- I know this is all too soon, and I would understand if you are reluctant to do so, but…I wish to see you again.” He was tripping over his words and you couldn’t help but search his features for any signs of malice. When you recognized genuine interest written across his handsome countenance, you stepped closer to him and slipped one palm across his neck while the other rested on top of his chest.
“We can only meet again if you find your thieves. Then I will know that you truly want me.” You could feel his heartbeat raging inside his chest and before he could say anything else, you leaned up and touched his lips with your own, not caring for propriety as you slipped your tongue past his sweet mouth and slid it across his own curious flesh. Marcus was still for a moment but when you deepened the kiss and moaned against him, he couldn’t hold back anymore and he wrapped his arms around your back and pulled you in as close to him as possible. He knew he should probably break the intimate touch, for your sake at the very least, but the more you sought him, the weaker he became. Nothing mattered in that moment except making sure that you knew what he was willing to do to look upon you again.
When the need for air grew, you pulled away and rested your forehead against his, smiling at him when you see the deep shade of red that spread down to his neck.
“Anything for you.” The confident response would have brought you to your knees had he not been holding you in his arms and you silently nodded before you let go of him and silently asked him to remove himself from the grounds.
“I will see you soon my Inspector,” you teased him one last time and almost hid behind your hands when you saw the absolute love-stricken expression that took over his features soon after.
“You will wait for me then?” He asked one last time, praying that you weren’t just playing with his feelings.
“Always,” you nodded immediately and began to walk backward away from him. Neither of you wanted to break the other’s gaze but you both knew that it was time for him to leave. When he was out of sight, you turned back and walked through the graveyard, and you hated the way your heart anticipated for the next meeting with him. You were never one to pray but in that moment, you pleaded with the old gods and the new to allow Marcus to find his way back to you. And when you heard the familiar whispers of your friends from the beyond grow in number, you smiled and made your way home, knowing that they were trying their hardest not to tell you of the future they already beheld.
So much for sworn secrecy.
~Alternate Ending~
“Always,” you nodded immediately and began to walk backward away from him. Neither of you wanted to break the other’s gaze but you both knew that it was time for him to leave. When he was out of sight, you turned back to the tombstone you left the flowers on previously and kneeled before it, barely managing to silence the tears as you read the words engraved onto the stone until you could no longer bear it.
Here lies Marcus Edgar Pike. Beloved Husband and Father. “In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world, there is no love for you like mine.”

Oh no! After being unalived by a vicious rabbit, Geraldine's spoiled daughter Coraline is taken in by her begrudging aunt Gwendolyn. Will the brat be straightened out by farm life (and find her aunt's true love), or will they suffer until adulthood do they part?
You are Gwendolyn Gates, and this is your story.
You have always lived in the shadow of your younger sister, Geraldine. If beating your grades in school wasn’t enough, she was always voted into class office, homecoming court, and anything else she tried out for. You were a consistent B student, had a few solid friends, were skilled in sports, and still couldn’t catch your parents’ eyes. It was no surprise when she graduated with a law degree at the top of her class and quickly climbed the ladder while you continued your part time community college education and worked hard as a farmhand and part-time event photographer to pay your own way. After all, mommy and daddy could only pay for one of you to get through college, and clearly Gerry was the one going places. Your boyfriend Ricky, who had been by your side since eighth grade, broke up with you just months before your wedding, and three months later you saw he was dating your beloved sister. They even ended up having a child together before he was lost in a tragic cowplant incident. That was the last straw. For the last ten years you have been living a reclusive life in a small country town, caring for your animals and taking home Best Pie ribbons from the local fairs. You forgot about Geraldine and her perfect life. All you know is she says she put you down as the godparent of the child you never intend to meet, continues to practice law, and is forever the golden child. Apparently golden kids don’t smell like cow s-, well, you know.
Unfortunately, that perfect life crashed into yours again a week ago. After a few too many drinks at the Gnome’s Arms, you were in a charitable mood and finally agreed to let Geraldine bring her daughter Coraline out to the farm during summer break. She had been begging you for years. Fine, whatever. What’s the worst that could happen in a week? You buy a cot and a toy and set them up in your spare room, move the storage crates into your own, and figure you’d rather sleep with the cow anyway and let Geraldine have your room. Then you wait.
While you wait, someone steals your cow. You are devastated, and pledge to get the fence fixed before it happens again. You’re too late. The day before your sister and niece come in, your chickens are taken, too. Plus they absolutely destroyed your crops. You complain to your best friend Sara, who comforts you with a free slice of cottage pie and reminds you you have a lawyer sister coming to town in less than 24 hours. Feeling full and a little hopeful, you head home and wonder how to explain this crazy situation to Geraldine in the morning.
Don’t worry, it gets worse.
Before you can even offer a hug or to carry a bag, Geraldine is attacked by a vicious killer rabbit. You and Coraline stand in stunned silence as the dust settles and she collapses on your front lawn. Grim comes. Grim leaves. You have a child, no crops, no livestock, and no idea what the next days will hold.
The Challenge.
Requires Cottage Living and Parenthood
To begin the Family Trouble Challenge (I didn’t see any challenges with this name but as always let me know if I am accidentally plagiarizing or something), start a new game with the Family Trouble Challenge household. If you have Seasons, start in summer. Move into the lot 2 Olde Mill Lane in Henford-On-Bagley. Enter build mode and place Overgrown Granary Farm (gallery ID is sahmandbean). You should have $1k left. I tested this several times. In live mode, shift-click on Geraldine, select Kill, and there should be a rabbit option. Do that. Once Grim has left, adopt Coraline as care-dependent. Set lifespan to long, or for “hard mode” leave it on normal. Do whatever you want with season length.
Objectives:
First, fix the fence. Then, in any order:
Reach Level 10 Parenting skill
Become best friends with Sara Scott
Participate in every fair
Win Best Pie at least once
Have a cow and at least four chickens
You can remove one lot challenge after livestock objectives are met
You can remove one lot challenge if Coraline gets a job
You can remove one lot challenge after volunteering together five times
Gwendolyn must only earn money by farm-related things
Coraline must earn every Character Value trait
Coraline's remaining traits can be randomized three times and you pick your favorite of the three
Coraline must introduce Gwendolyn to her true love after aging up into a teen
Coraline must complete at least one errand for each Henford-on-Bagley resident
Gwendolyn must complete her aspiration
If you have the packs and want to, you can:
Add off the grid objects like solar panels and water collectors
Change out Gwendolyn’s Noncommittal trait for Unflirty
Change anyone’s anything besides traits, likes and dislikes, and Gwendolyn’s aspiration
Use the selling table from City Living or Eco Lifestyle
Have either Sim attend university, but it must be from home, and only one at a time
Take vacations, but not move, and not for more than two nights. Think of the animals!
Let me know how it goes! If you have questions, message me here, or on IG @sahm_and_bean

Mostrami Amore.
Summary: Cha-young tries to move on from a certain mafia boss.
Author’s Note: Thank for to everyone who sent in prompts for Chayenzo, it resulted in this mess. I don’t have much to say, I considered making this into a multi- chaptered story but honestly I don’t have time for another ongoing story so if this seems rushed it was a little, I wrote it in one go today. Hope you enjoy this, I stuck in some of my favorite crack ship because I am weak and obsessed. Happy reading!
p.s takes place after final episode but han seo lives because this is my world and I get to play God.
Another postcard.
Their delivery becomes sporadic and she’s embarrassed at the giddiness that washes over her each time a new square is sent miles across a wide stretch of ocean, the view on the card most likely lackluster in comparison to the true rendering of Malta. She has spent many hours on her laptop searching for images of the small paradisiac island, yearning to see what he sees and feel just a tad bit closer to him. Most of her life has been spent in solitude with only her work acquaintances filling the void at times, so she expected herself to be more equipped to deal with his disappearance and subsequent absence. But nothing prepares her for those moments at the coffee shop, when she finds herself smiling across a table only to realize there is no miniature espresso cup in the hand of a very dangerous Italian Korean mafia member grinning back at her.
The smile melts off her face and she swallows the bitter cool sludge in her cup, the beverage tasting exactly as he had described it without him there.
Nights are the hardest, loneliness coils around her like a snake.
There was never any other fate for them, she knew that when Vincenzo murdered all their enemies this was their only real outcome. He would always be a fugitive on the run and she an accomplice if he were captured and questioned, it was in both of their best interests if he vanished from the face of the planet. But knowing that does nothing to qualm the ever present feeling of isolation that clings to her skin as she sits alone on her couch, downing makgeolli at a vicious pace. Trying to wash his taste from her mouth, that kiss on loop in her mind and the phantom grip of his hand on her neck.
It’s those treacherous nights without the plaza members that have become a second family to her and Han Seo following her like the lost puppy he is calling her “Noona” so freely and frequently until she forgets her own name, that she allows herself to feel exactly what she’s feelings.
Heartbroken.
Desperate.
Lonely.
Rage.
The last one she hides like a dirty secret in the closet of her heart, she knew what she was signing up for. She has no legitimate reason to be angry, or so she tries to reason with herself. But. This was the same man who had bypassed the security of one of the richest men in Korea and ultimately killed him without leaving a trace. She had watched him do despicable things, blackmailing, threatening, seducing, and murdering others as he saw fit and yet, he hadn’t used any of those dastardly ways to see her. That chance meeting at the art gallery had been the last she had seen of him, Then a few weeks later another postcard with the same message she had boldly uttered at the airport, it feels insufficient after having him in her arms again. She knew in that moment that they would never be enough again. She hadn’t even argued when Mr. Nam claimed he would leave this one on his table instead, she merely nodded and walked away to peruse the new sexual assault case she has taken recently.
It gets harder and harder to hear Han Seo regaling the wonders of his “hyung”, her anger boiling deep below the surface like magma waiting to explode and transform into something tangible and destructive.
“He told me that he has a room for me too. I wonder when he’ll let us visit.”
She nods absently, staring out the window at the sunlight twinkling in through the blinds but then his words register and the gears in her head churn before running the sentence back through to carefully process them.
“He---what? You spoke to Vincenzo?”
The human puppy pouts his lips before tilting his head and dealing a hard blow to her ego and her heart, “Yeah, he sends me letters. I got so scared the first time! He said the letter would self-destruct after I read it and I really thought that was true and I dived across the room to escape but I bumped my head on the table and then...”
He sent Han Seo letters.
She had received the same fucking postcard for months on end with the same message she had said to him, and he had time to write Han Seo letters. He hadn’t sent her even one in the time he had been gone.
“That fucking bastard!” She explodes interrupting Han Seo’s recount of his near death experience and he looks wide- eyed and taken back by her outburst, she almost soothes him before another wave of anger rushes through her veins. She had accepted the bare minimum because she thought this was all he could give her but it seemed she was being too naïve. He was Vincenzo Cassano after all, he could make anything happen. She had seen it with her own two eyes. If he wasn’t reaching out to her maybe that was a message and she was too blind to see it.
“Noona? Are you okay?” Han Seo looks absolutely terrified, eyes huge and quivering. She doesn’t bother answering, grabbing her cup of lukewarm coffee and stomping out of the office ignoring Mr. Nam’s calls behind her. She’s tired of being an idiot.
She throws herself into forgetting him, the same way he seems to have forgotten her despite his words to her that fateful night on the stairs.
I thought about you everyday.
Actions speak louder than words and she is done accepting his crumbs. She has never needed anyone, had even accepted when her own father wanted nothing to do with her; she has basically been prepping for this moment her entire life.
So she goes shopping with Miri, buying gadgets that she has no idea how to use but that the other girl makes sound like things that she definitely needs such as a new home security system, her break in still fresh in her mind. She grins at the pretty smile on the other girl’s round face as she explains the specification of the machines around them and she can see why Han Seo has such a huge crush on the girl, the pretty blush that blossoms on the other girl’s cheek after stating the fact out loud is adorable and she pinches said cheek much to her chagrin.
“You should worry about your own love life.” Miri teases but the words sting like acid on her skin and she turns away to hide the grimace on her face, but she’s not fast enough and the other girl catches her wrist halting her movement.
“What? What’s wrong? Did something happen to Mr. Cassano?” Miri whispers the last part, looking around to make sure that nobody overhears them.
She forces herself to stifle her emotions, trapping them in the back of her mind refusing to let him have this kind of affect on her.
“I wouldn’t know.” She tries for a emotionless tone but even she can hear the bitterness in her own voice and Miri’s eyes fill with pity and it makes her sick to her stomach, “Don’t. I am going to be fine. Let’s just go.”
They don’t utter single word in the car ride home.
After that it becomes painfully obvious that everyone in the plaza thinks something is wrong with her and are teaming up to make her feel better. It’s the packed lunches that keep showing up on her desk without fail, her clothes being steamed and pressed for free, the way that they won’t allow her to be alone and there are countless spontaneous family game nights all ending with her drunk and being carried home.
Tonight Mr. Tak is the unlucky volunteer, dragging her limp body in her father’s house and she thinks of all the times that they drank here together and a certain person was the one hauling her body to bed complaining and grumbling but that distractingly fond smile on his face that he only ever seemed to shoot her way. Her heart thumped loudly as he loomed over her and leaned in close, getting her hopes up only to brush her hair behind her ears and softly tell her, “Go to sleep now,” and she had never been obedient all her teachers could testify to that but when he looked at her like that she was powerless to do anything else but listen.
“I miss him.” The traitorous words fall from her lips and vanish into the inky darkness of the night.
A deep sigh from the left of her, “We know.”
She feels vulnerable, the worst thing about having a weakness is other’s noticing too. She hates how weak she feels.
“I am going to forget him.”
The body supporting most of her weight tenses under her arm and she waits for his response, they all love Vincenzo- he had become their unexpected hero and leader in many ways. They would always take his side, she knows that.
“If that’s what you need to do to be happy. Then, do it. Loving a man like Vincenzo isn’t easy.”
She turns to look at him in genuine shock.
“What? You thought I would tell you to keep waiting with no end in sight? You should know by now, you mean a lot to us too. Your happiness is important to us too, we’re a family.”
“But we’re the Cassano family,” she challenges unable to accept that they could love her without Vincenzo attached, but Mr. Tak shrugs at the clarification, “We can be the Hong Family too.”
She feels her eyes swimming.
“I should go inside.”
She feels sober and more awake than ever, she stays up all night twirling the long strands of her hair in between her fingers.
Thinking.
Variety is the spice of life.
She doesn’t know where she’s heard that but it’s those sage words that are the catalyst for her spontaneous decision.
“Same as always? Silky with some body?” Her stylist peers into her eyes through the wide mirror and she hears herself say, “No I want a cut and some color.” Yu-jin raises one pretty tweezed brow but nods after a moment’s pause, “Okay. How short are you thinking?”
And that’s how she starts her day with long thick hair that grazes her lower back and ends it with a short bob that tickles her neck. It feels like a weight has been lifted from her shoulder, metaphorically and literally and she loves the face that she sees in the mirror, her eyes looking brighter than they have in months. She feels more alive, like a snake shedding its skin and becoming a newer and fresher version of itself.
“Your hair?” That becomes the running theme for her day, shocked gaping mouths and hands reaching out for the hair that was once there. She merely smirks at their palpable surprise, especially Seol-jin who doesn’t recognize her from behind.
“I haven’t seen a pretty lady like you aro--Oh Ms. Hong! I’m so sorry I didn’t recognize you, I am so sorry please excuse me!” The interpretative dancer bolts away leaving her to watch him bemused, she skips to Jipuragi with a pep in her step laughing loudly when Mr. Nam drops his coffee upon seeing her and the brown liquid goes flying and douses him in a sticky hot mess.
It’s an entertaining day to say the least.
Moments later when he’s finished cleaning himself up and changing into the cheetah print track suit that he insisted to keeping in the office, he mentions that a new postcard has arrived. She nods at the information, looking at her laptop and it’s only seconds later that she finally looks up and sees that he’s waiting for her response. She doesn’t have one.
Forcing a tight smile on her face she replies, “Oh that’s great. Just put it with the others.”
He does.
But she can feel his eyes on her, his concern heavy and tangible in the air.
She pretends not to notice and keeps clicking away on her laptop, only glancing over at the card once or twice. But it’s only out of habit.
Nothing more.
She starts going on dates with random men. Men she meets in coffee shops, on the streets, in bars, hell one time even the bookstore. She never meets the same man twice and they never get what they want but it does make her feel desirable and that’s all she’s looking for.
“Where are you going?” Han Seo asks her curiously, Miri by his side as she struts out the plaza new perfume on her skin.
“On a date. I’ll see you both later.” They both gape at her and can only watch with wide eyes as she sashays away, heels clicking with every step.
Word spreads like wildfire and no one takes it harder than Mr. An, who calls her a “jezebel” and cries at the front of the law firm for hours, she has to step over him to go get lunch shaking him off when he latches on to her ankles.
The others just look at her with sad eyes, filled with both understanding and disappointment.
Much to her surprise the lunch boxes keep coming and her clothes are still pressed and starched to perfection though.
She also starts taking self defense classes, Korea is much more dangerous than she had first suspected and she has to be able to protect herself because nobody is coming to save her. Not anymore.
It becomes a great outlet for her built up anger and her instructor praises her for being a fast learner. She grins and nods before flipping him and twisting his arm around his own neck in a modified sleeper hold. When he taps on her arm she squeezes tighter instead of letting go and he goes limp for a moment before she comes back to herself and releases him hastily with a quick apology, “Sorry!”
He rubs his neck, panting for air and she feels guilty, there's a tinge of that but most of all she feels powerful, more so than she has for a long time.
It’s crazy but she finds herself asking him for drinks after class and even crazier is that he agrees even with her marks still there on his skin, the area bruised and red. He looks at her like she’s challenge that he wants to conquer, she lets him believe that’s possible. It’s only a bit of fun anyway, she has no plans for anything serious.
Drinks turn into a drunken cab ride home with his hand on her thigh, hot through the thin material of her tights and they don’t feel right- too small and not rough enough but she’s moving on and she has no time to reminisce.
There hasn’t even been a postcard lately. Message, loud and clear.
When she shoves the keys into her door, he’s glued to her body leaving wet kisses on the long column of her neck and she tries to suppress the nausea that swims in her stomach, everything feels wrong and she hates herself for feeling that way. Why shouldn’t she fuck whoever she wants? He is probably doing the same thing, everyday on his beautiful private island. Kissing women that aren’t her and whispering dirty Italian words into their ears as he rocks back and forth, nary a thought of that Korean woman he knew once upon a time.
Fuck him.
She rocks back into the purposeful grind of the hips behind her, feeling the hardness that digs into the soft flesh of her ass and finally the door opens and they both tumble in haphazardly and he thrusts a hand under her loose shirt fingering at her breasts before a dark figure moves far too quickly in her peripheral and she hears her date cry out in pain.
She almost faints at the familiar sight of the one person she never expected to see, the hard glint of his cold eyes as he twists the same hand that had just been fondling her chest. The grip looks painful, the wrist contorted in an unnatural manner.
“What the fuck? You have a boyfriend?!” Her instructor cries out, voice high pitched falling to his knees as Vincenzo kicks his feet out from under him.
She rolls her eyes, of course he would come now when she is trying (and failing) to get over him.
Vindictively she answers the question, ‘No.”
But that makes Vincenzo twist the wrist in his grip even tighter and she can see the bones breaking so she takes pity on the poor man, he didn’t sign up for a murderous mafia leader after all.
“Just let him go. You have no right to do any of this.”
He doesn’t listen right away and absently she wonders if she’ll need to test out her new moves on him, it would be satisfying to deck him square in the face. She dreams of that as often as she dreams of their reunion. Her feelings are...complicated to say the least.
Then with a grunt, he throws the other man away like he’s trash and growls out, “Get out of here before I kill you.”
She tries not be get turned on by that. But it’s a hard sell, her body already getting revved up. He’s telling the truth.
The man wastes no time, jumping to his feet and bolting out the door without one backwards glance. Asshole, he was really just leaving her with a clearly unstable and dangerous man.
“We need to talk.” Vincenzo squeezes out between clenched teeth, and her blood runs cold but she stares him dead in the eyes tired of this game they’ve been playing, if he’s here to end things she wants to know.
“Okay. Then talk.”
She looks insanely beautiful, with her hair cropped so short bringing his eyes to the tantalizing length of her neck. His eyes close in on a spot of moisture on her neck, he feels his blood boiling imagining that bastard touching any part of her. She’s glaring right back at him, her chest rising and falling and he can’t help but check her out, it’s been months since he saw her in person the photo of her doing aerial yoga above his bed couldn’t compare to the tempest that is Cha-young in real life.
The flat plane of her belly is on display under the white crop top loosely stretched across her chest which leads down to her slim hips and legs wrapped in white spandex, leaving very little to the imagination not that he hasn’t imagined her in far less many, many times. Too many times to count. Spilling across the silk adorning his king sized bed with only her name on his lips.
She looks fucking hot.
That makes it even more frustrating because he can still clearly see that bastard wrapped around her like a snake and his hands going up her shirt---he has to take a deep breath before he breaks something. Or chases that asshole to break his face.
There’s so much he wants to say to her, so much he owes her.
I missed you.
I love you.
Come with me.
“Who the hell was that?” He says this instead then watches her eyes glint over into nothing but pure murderous rage. Wrong move. But he couldn’t help it, green eyed raged taking away his decision making abilities.
“That’s all you have to say? Get out.”
He wasn’t expecting rose petals and trumpets when he returned but he definitely wasn’t expecting this, her cold glare or another man in his spot. He thought she would wait for him, just as he had done for her.
“Are you serious right now?” He counters, flabbergasted.
“Deadly. Get out.”
He clenches his fist, and then stomps out. Turning back but only to watch the door slam in his face.
What the hell.
It had only taken a letter from Han Seo to get him on boat that would take him to an open field and hours later he was soaring through the skies on a hot air balloon, on his way back to Korea. It was insane and he barely had time to explain to his family but Luca nodded at him like this was the only choice and told him that he would take care of everything, and he trusted those words more than he had ever trusted anything in his life.
“Vai a prendere la tua donna( go get your woman).”
He had nodded, gruffly patting the other man on his shoulder before hopping over into the waiting boat.
But he wasn’t so certain anymore that Cha-young was his.
She seems different. Colder almost, she leaves whenever I mention your name and she goes on dates now. I think she’s moving on hyung, what are you going to do?
Those words had been the scariest thing he had never seen. Scarier than every gun that had ever been pointed at his head. He thought what they had was something special, something that could stand the test of time and distance. He stared at the huge pile of letters on his bedside, all addressed to her. He had written one everyday since they had been separated, but each time he was too much of a coward to send it. In those letters he could say things that he could never say to her face, things like how much he ached without her by his side and how her smile was the only thing that kept him going. In those letters he could regal the ways he loved her, and how deeply she had been branded into his soul, every atom of his body belonged to her and her alone. He would kill for her, die for her, anything she needed or merely wanted he would provide it, all she needed to do was ask.
He could only share those feelings in the letters.
He walks for hours, until he ends up at his old apartment the familiar door greeting him and he sticks his hand in his pocket before he remembers that he gave the key away, with a sigh he starts to walk away before the door creaks open and he hears a voice he hasn’t heard in months.
“Hyung!”
A warmth spreads across his back as a solid weight almost knocks him off his feet. He reaches one arm around his body, awkwardly slapping the face that is pressing into his collar.
“You really chose to stay here.”
He feels the nod on his shoulder, “Of course. It made me feel closer to you hyung, I missed you.”
He grunts in response, before turning around and tugging the younger man into a real hug. He had missed the annoying little leech too, he had missed everyone.
They are still in each other’s embrace for a moment before Han Seo pulls away, sympathy etched deep on his face.
“She wasn’t happy to see you.”
“There was someone else there.” He hates the words even as they leave his mouth and Han Seo winces, looking pained for him before tugging him into the small apartment. Everything is just like he left it. He looks around in awe.
“I’m sorry hyung. What are you going to do?”
That’s the golden question, he pondered it all the way here and he’s no closer to knowing the answer to that. Usually she is the one that makes the move, she has always been the brave one between them. He back steps and says things he doesn’t mean and she sees through him and smashes down all his walls. That’s how this has always worked.
“I don’t know. Maybe I should just leave her alone. Let her be happy.”
A loud scoff reaches his ears, “Sure. Is that why you sailed across sharked infested waters and trusted a hot air balloon company run my former thugs?”
He smarts at the sarcastic reply and glares before flicking the cheeky brat on his nose, "I liked you better when you were stupid you know. Now you're a little smart ass."
The younger man looks even more youthful as he grins back at him, rubbing at his nose before shrugging. "I learned from the best."
He has no rebuttal for that so he tries to flick him again, giving chase when he darts off.
It feels good to be home.
He warns Han Seo not to tell anyone that he's here least they give away his location.
So he's not surprised the next day to find the cavalry at his doorstep hands filled to the brim with containers of food. There are tears, mostly from Mr. Nam who won't stop screaming his name and pinching his cheeks to see if he's real and Mr. An who wraps around him like a koala despite his very detailed threats. It's all chaos and so familiar that his heart aches but her absence is like a hole in his chest. Nobody mentions her but they all keep looking at the door, so it's obvious that she was invited but chose not to come.
Because she didn't want to see him.
"You're here to win her back right?" He doesn't know who even utters the words but when he glances up they are all looking at him expectantly.
He didn't know that was what he was indeed here for thought that she would happily welcome him back and they could pick up where they left off but she's made it clear that this won't be the case. This will be the most important fight of his life.
"Yes. I'm here for Cha-young."
He gets enthusiastic thumbs up and a loud giggle from the Yeon-Jin and Cheol-Wook’s adorable baby, her little hands too uncoordinated to do a thumbs up but she waves excitedly feeding off the energy around her.
He wonders how Cha-young would look with a baby in her arms, their baby it's a dangerous thought. But one that he can't get out of his mind once he thinks it.
They stay until midnight, forcing him to eat and drink too much soju until he passes out to dreams filled with a round Cha-young, belly swollen and protruding from her body.
It doesn't take much to learn her schedule(Mr. Nam hands him a laminated copy) and he has to put on a disguise but he enters the shop seconds after her, hearing her order that god awful sewer water she's so fond of.
"An espresso for me." He leans in too close, almost brushing her shoulder and she jolts at the sound of his voice, turning to stare at him as if she's a mirage.
"You're still here?" She whispers and then shakes her head and looks away as if she's hadn't meant to say the words aloud.
It hurts him that she thought he would leave without telling her but he can't blame her, he has been anything but consistent. Instead of answering, he leans forward to hand his credit card to the cashier who glances between them suspiciously before accepting the card.
Their orders are ready in seconds and he follows her as she walks to their table, butterflies in his stomach at the familiar sight.
She turns to him with a glare, "It's just the only available table."
He moves to pull out her chair and she starts at him tight lipped before sitting down. She's in a tight black suit today, two long slits on the side of her pants going all the way up to her thighs. He gulps down his drink to get rid of the drool pooling in his mouth.
"You're upset with me."
She stares at him like he's the biggest idiot on the planet, it's not a look he receives often but she's always the outlier in his otherwise organized life.
"Astute observation." She quips back, sucking loudly at her coffee.
"Why?"
He considered how to go about breeching this subject and in the end had decided on going straight to the source, he had been under the impression that this was working for them.
Her face morphs into a person he hasn't seen for a long time, the Cha-young that would berate him and make him angry enough to curse in Italian.
"Do you think this little of me?"
He's completely lost, "What do you mean? What did I do that was so wrong? Wrong enough for you to cheat on me!" He's panting now, his voice has gotten loud enough to catch people's attention he can feel them watching their table, nosy and invested.
"Cheat on you?"
Cold as ice, her voice is. It almost makes him shiver.
"How could I possibly cheat on you? We're not together. You send me the same postcard with the same message every few months. I have no idea what you're doing in Malta, who you're with. You can't even be bothered to send me a letter, do you think this is a relationship? You think it's enough to pop up like this every once in a blue moon? You've told me nothing about how you feel about me but I'm supposed to be satisfied with whatever you throw my way?"
If he wasn't sitting down his legs would have already given out he's certain about that. Her voice is deadly quiet each word landing and chipping away at his confidence.
"I'm doing the best I can! You knew it would be like this after everything was over, why are you blaming me now? How about you, I don't know how you feel either!"
"I love you! Anyone with eyes can see that, I told you that at the airport too. And again when I took a bullet for you, you didn't think that meant I loved you? I was willing to die for you."
Shit.
It's not at all how he expected them to confess their love for each other, it's hard to believe the words that are coming out of her mouth as she bares her teeth at him.
"So why are you doing this? Why are there other men?"
Why aren't I enough? He wants to say but he's scared of her answer, terrified that she'll say that she can't do this anymore. That he just isn’t enough anymore.
She stares at him long and hard.
Waiting for something. But he doesn't know what.
"You haven't changed at all. You're still a coward, I'm not interested in guessing anymore. I’m done playing this game.”
She stands up and walks away, leaving her unfinished coffee on the table.
Unwanted just like him.
She doesn't see him for days and she accepts that her words had done their damage, she had cried until she fell asleep that night. Waking up with swollen red eyes that no amount of concealer would save but thankfully no one commented on her state.
She goes through her day on autopilot and before she knows it she's back home, ready to face her night alone again. She pushes the door open, half praying he'll be waiting for her but her hopes shattered when she turns on the lights and finds no one.
"It's better this way." She lies to herself, pouring herself an obscene glass of soju. She's going to need plenty of alcohol to get through this pain.
Her head is woozy and heavy when she hears a sound, suddenly alert she stills in her chair before rushing over to get a frying pan walking on the tips of her toes she prowls closer to the clicking sound, finding herself at the window peering at a long lost friend. Placing the frying pan on her window sill she pry opens the window, screeching when the audacious bird flies inside landing on her table as if he belongs there.
"Hey Inzaghi! Get your dirty bird feet off my table!"
He looks at her nonchalantly, making himself comfortable on said table and she sighs before shutting the window and drunkenly swaying over to him.
"What are you even doing there? Do you want to be my bird now, I won't be a very good owner. I won't remember to feed you. I barely remember to feed myself."
Despite being a bird he finds a way to roll his eyes at her before standing up and only then does she notice something on his leg. She looks at him cautiously before moving closer and untying the paper on his leg, the pigeon barely reacts before flying over to her couch. She sighs in annoyance, she's going to have to clean everything after this bird leaves.
She unwinds the string holding the paper together, unrolling the paper scroll. There is a message written inside: the rooftop. 9 pm.
Glancing at her clock the time shines at her.
7:34pm.
"This could be a trap."
It very much could be, she has enemies now. It was a small price to pay for taking down Babel but she's always looking over her shoulders now, so this note could easily be someone luring her to hurt her or get back at Vincenzo.
Inzaghi coos loudly at her as if he can hear her thoughts. This time he finds a way to look exasperated.
She stumbles off to her room.
She needs time to think.
"So she told you that she loved you and you didn't say it back?"
"I was shocked. She was growling at me and looked ready to kill me at the same time." He reasons back, trying to show his hyung his point of view. The younger man doesn't look even a little bit convinced by his logic.
"Okay and? That sounds perfectly normal for you too. You should have shot someone and wrote it back in their blood on the table."
He recoils in disgust at the suggestion, "What the hell is wrong with you? Are you actually insane, why the fuck would I do that?"
Han Seo stares deadpan in return.
He puts up a hand trying to stop whatever response he has, "Don't say it."
It doesn't work.
"Pig's blood. Don't forget I saw it all, I've never seen Ms. Hong look so excited before. You're both crazy."
Well, that had been different. It was an old tradition, she simply had an appreciation for the classics.
"And I bet you're defending her right now in your mind. Noona is just like you, that's why you're made for each other. She's the gasoline to your fire."
"You know that would just make an even larger fire right?"
"Yes. I'm smart now remember? I know what I said."
He sighs falling into the comfortable familiarity of the couch, a spring digging into his thigh.
"Why didn't you say it back?" His stills at the barely whispered question, his chest constricting as he recalls the passionate confession. He had frozen, like he'd always known she was the brave one between them. Always doing the unexpected and the time was no different, her words had knocked him off his feet.
"Because I was scared."
Han Seo huffs at his honesty. He doesn't know where the words are coming from but he's tired of keeping it all in.
"Because if anything happens to her it'll break me, I thought it would be better if I kept her at a distance. I thought this was enough. I thought this would be easier. When I think about her I want to drop everything and just be with her and that...was too dangerous. I had to keep my distance."
There's a pregnant pause, just the sound of their breathing filling the void.
"Was it?"
"What?"
"Easier. Is this better? Enough?"
He thinks about Cha-young getting married to a faceless man, exchanging vows and sealing it with a kiss, happy and in love on their honeymoon wanton moans and screams from their room, learning that they're having a baby and her round and glowing with someone else's child smiling brightly as she rubs her belly and it's too much. He wants to smash it all into little pieces.
"No. It's not enough. I need her, without her nothing is enough."
"That's what you should have said to her. Don't glare at me I'm right, but I have an idea. I saw it in an American cartoon."
And that's how he lets his younger brother convince him to send a note to Cha-young using Inzaghi, the pigeon had shown up one night and he'd been so happy he almost kissed the bird.
"How will he know where Cha Young lives?" He asks skeptical even as he ties the note to the birds leg.
"I showed him a picture of her house. According to the cartoon, birds just know.”
He stares at the younger man, wondering why he's listening to this ridiculous plan.
"This is stupid. I should just text her, Inzaghi is never going to deliver this. He's just a regular pigeon."
"This is more romantic." He answers matter of fact.
"How is a pigeon delivering a message in anyway romantic?" He challenges already knowing from the shit eating grin he won’t like the response.
"The same way pig blood was." The brat counters and he doesn't get a chance to respond before Han Seo picks Inzaghi up and throws him out the window, "In the name of love!" He only barely stops himself from bashing his head into the wall, the younger man has to wrestle him to the ground.
It's stupid. They did all of this for nothing the cool breeze makes him pull his coat tighter around his body, exposed to the weather on the open space of the rooftop.
He checks his watch, 9:48.
She's not coming and the worst part is that he doesn't know if it's because that damn bird never delivered his message or if it's because she really doesn't want anything to do with him. The burden of not knowing hurts more than anything.
Expelling the air in his lungs he walks back to the single door that leads off the roof, twisting the doorknob in his hand and pulling it open.
Meeting the shocked face of one Cha-young.
They both just stare at each other before he speaks, "You came."
He can't believe it. Inzaghi had actually delivered the note, somehow the pigeon had found her house and she was here. He almost pinches himself to see if he'd passed out on the roof and this was just a dream.
"I didn't know Inzaghi was a carrier pigeon." She futilely tries to change the subject and he takes a step back, gathering the tattered pieces of his courage. The same courage that had propelled him to kiss her all those months ago on the stairs.
"I'm so happy you're here. I waited for you."
She stares at him like he has two heads before blushing, and avoiding his eyes.
"Come with me." He extends his hands and tries not to be too hurt when she bypasses it and steps around him instead.
At least she was here.
With a quick swipe of his hand he sends the message to his accomplices.
Now.
The lights come on, fairy lights decorating the roof top in a heavenly glow. She spins around in wonder, eyes nearly as bright she's so beautiful it's almost painful to look at her.
Then the music starts.
The soft notes filling the space.
When I walk down a road I don't know well....
She looks around in wonder, staring back at him she can’t believe what’s happening.
Then the letters start falling from the sky, all the letters he had written to her alone and missing her thousands of miles away. His plaza family smiles down at him, throwing letters from a higher building.
Cha-young stares up at the sky in surprise, hundreds of letters landing all around her.
It had taken a few days for Luca to send them all over and then another day to get the guts to do this, there was no turning back now. He had never willingly made himself vulnerable to anyone else, but according to Han Seo it was the only way he was going to win her back.
“She just wants to know that you love her too. Show her.”
He watches anxiously as she picks up a letter, stroking lightly at her own name on the front looking at him with stunned wet eyes.
“You wrote me a letter.” Her voice is revere and awe that he doesn’t deserve, not after everything he has put her through in the sake of protecting himself but he’s too elated to see her looking at him like that again, like he’s someone important to her.
“182. For each day we were apart. I told you I thought about you everyday, and every time I did I wrote you a letter.”
She stares at the letter in her hand, gently ripping it open and devouring the words on the page. Nerves shoot up and down his body as he watches her read his most private thoughts about her, her expressive face for once empty of emotions as she silently reads the letter.
He waits.
Breathless and terrified.
“Why didn’t you ever send them? They were mine so why did you keep them?” He hears an edge in her voice that makes him wonder if she’s only talking about the letters.
“Cha-young, I don’t think you understand.”
She breathes out loudly, stomping over to him until they are inches apart and he has no choice but to look into the deep pool of her eyes.
“I don’t! I don’t understand anything, I thought you had found someone else in Malta and the postcards were just your way of being nice. I thought you didn’t feel the same way I did, you were sending Han Seo letters but you wouldn’t do the same for me. What was I supposed to think? Why didn’t you try to help me understand, you were gone for six months!”
There’s so much wrong with everything she said, how could he find anyone else when his heart beats for her? How could he forget her when everything he did reminded him of her, he saw her every night in his dreams. But he doesn’t make the same mistake this time, he says what’s important.
“I feel the same way. I love you Cha-young. I thought this was better for you, that this could be enough. But I was wrong, I missed you every minute of every--”
“Come home with me.”
He stops, stares, gapes and then stares some more.
“What? I wasn’t finished confessing though.” Actually offended that she interrupted his planned speech. He was about to recite one of his favorite Italian love poems for her and then ask her to dance.
She rolls her eyes dragging him towards the door, “Don’t you think we’ve wasted enough time? It’s been six months and you have been here for too long, you have to go soon.”
She’s right, he has a flight in two days for an identity he borrowed for his escape.
“Listen to her, just go back to her place and have a good night!” That sounds like Cheol-Wook and then they all erupt into applause and start cheering and hollering, chanting their names and then to his embarrassment they start chanting, “Go have sex! Go have sex!” complete with the monks banging on their drums and he doesn’t think he will ever live down this moment, especially when he sees Miri capturing it on the new video camera he had gifted her.
He flips them off as an eager Cha-young pulls him away their laughter following them all the way.
The car ride is too long on the way over and she wonders how quickly she can undress them both as soon as they reach, there is simply no time to waste.
But once they get to the doorstep he suddenly freezes, tugging her backwards into his chest.
“This looks familiar doesn’t it?” His voice is dark and smoky and she immediately knows what he’s referring to, and she refuses to give him any reaction.
“Are you seriously doing this right now?”
“You let someone else touch you. Here.” He runs a hand up her neck, briefly squeezing, “And here,” she gasps at his hands suddenly on her breast, squeezing harshly at the tender flesh.
“So what are you going to do about it?” She knows that she’s playing with fire, but that is their foundation. She has never aimed to cool him off or tone him down, she sees the dark side inside of him and loves it, encourages it and feeds on it herself allowing it to bring her darkness out too.
He kicks the door open, shoving her side and she delights at the rough treatment. She hopes that she is filled with his bruises tomorrow.
She doesn’t wait for his next move, pulling her shirt up and over her head before tugging off her skirt leaving herself in a barely there lace panties and a matching lace bra that is translucent, her nipples peeking through the sheer material. He stares at her transfixed, his hunger evident in his eyes and in the tent forming in his tight dress pants.
“Take those off.” She commands and he smirks before obeying, peeling the pants off his thighs standing in his button down shirt and tight boxer briefs that leave nothing to her imagination, every delicious inch of him visible. She steps forward bringing their bodies in contact, before thrusting her hand inside the opening of his briefs. He feels hard and smooth, liquid pooling at the tip and she twists her hand collecting it to ease her slow strokes up and down. His voice hitches as she fingers his balls and without warning she tugs his boxers off, leaving him bare to her eyes.
Mesmerized by the unencumbered sight of him, she drops to her knees using her hand to guide him to her eagerly waiting mouth.
His flavor explodes on her tongue and she swallows more, grabbing his hips to drag him deeper into her mouth until she can feel him in her throat, but even after her eyes start to burn and she feels herself choking she doesn’t stop, bobbing up and down hungrily, sloppy wet sounds filling the room in a filthy symphony. At first he lets her control the movement, pliant in her hands but as she increases her speed and suction he starts groaning and huffing loudly and then she feels his hand on the back of her hand, keeping her in place and when she looks up at him he looks wrecked. Eyes dazed and his face red and flushed, she ingrains that image in her mind, for when he’s gone and all she has are her toys.
She stares back defiantly before he draws himself out of her mouth, a single line of spit connecting them and then he thrusts back into her mouth roughly and she opens her mouth wider to accept the abuse, loving every second of it even as a her throat aches. He sets a frantic pace, his balls slamming against her chin and she doesn’t realize at first that his grunts have transformed into words, too much blood rushing to her head.
“Mine. Mine, nobody can---ah fuck! Nobody can see you like this. Only me. You’re mine.”
He fucks her mouth like it’s his to use and do what he pleases, and she’s wetter than she’s ever been listening to him claim her verbally and with the wet push of his dick in her mouth.
She starts grinding on the floor like a cat in heat and without preamble he grabs her under her armpits and lifts her like she weighs nothing, his dick sliding free from her hot mouth, “I want to make you scream.” He says this like a declaration of love and she throws herself at him, kissing the words off his lips. His tongue swirls in her mouth and she wonders if he can taste himself in her. It makes her hotter and she grinds her barely covered pussy onto his naked length, groaning at the friction even though the thin layer separating them.
He tosses her onto the bed and she doesn’t even remember them walking, his tongue and his wondering fingers had completely distracted her.
She lays sprawled across the bed as he stares at her, like she’s feast he can’t wait to devour.
“Nobody has been in here.” She doesn’t know if he’s asking a question or making a statement, but she feels that his jealousy is real. Seeing her with someone else had done something to him, guilt washes over her. If she had seen him with someone else she would have lost her mind too.
“Nobody. I never brought anyone home before, that guy was a mistake. I was just hurt and missing you. I’m sorry.”
He had abandoned her for six months and she didn’t owe him anything but his pain is her pain and they are stronger now, everything has been said.
“Good.”
Then he rips her panties away and buries his face between her legs, prying her wide open with his hands and lapping at her with his searing hot tongue. Immediately he has his wish and she screams, loud enough to fill the entire room.
“Already screaming amore? It’s going to be a long night, I want to make you hoarse.”
She doesn’t get a moment to respond before he’s back to licking and sucking at her most sacred part, fingers deep inside her as he thrusts and strokes alongside his tongue, his fingers and tongue moving in tandem and she tries to stifle the scream but a particularly deep fuck makes the sound erupt from her throat and her head feels dizzy from the overwhelming sensation.
He has boundless energy it seems, as time drags by and she feels her body tightening up as he systemically destroys her, he never takes a break or pauses, slurping up all the liquid that drips from her and the sounds of him swallowing are beyond erotic. When a hand runs up her stomach and squeezes at a bouncing breast she can’t contain her moans of pleasure, crying out as his fingers pinching the tight bud of her nipple.
“Please.”
He coos in her, “So pretty when you beg.” Then he sticks his tongue as far as it can go and she hears the rush of blood in her head as her body shakes apart and her release gushes from her body, twitching when he laps it all up her oversensitive body recoiling from the overstimulation.
She has never come like that before, most men have never put in the work necessary to make her come and she wasn’t one to fake it so her experiences with sex with someone else were few and far in between.
This feels like nirvana.
“You still with me amore?” The bastard looks so smug, looming above her naked arms on the side of her head, and she had no idea when he took his shirt off.
“I can’t feel like my legs.”
He chuckles loudly at the statement, grinning growing wider.
“Well I can assure you that they’re still there and they will look great wrapped around my waist.”
Raising to his challenge, although her body is still buzzing she wraps her legs around his waist, they feel like jelly but she finds the strength to follow through with her movement.
“I was right they do look great.”
“Well this would look great in me.” She counters, grabbing at his thick ruddy red dick jutting from his body and he rocks into her hand before knocking her hand away and taking himself in his hand.
“Do we need a condom?” He asks her, looking like he is ready to stop at nay minute if she tells him that they do.
“No.”
She has been on birth control since she was a teen and there’s been no one for her since she met him, and she trusts that it’s been the same for him.
“Thank goodness, I want to feel everything.” He barely finishes his sentence before he’s easing into her, slow and steady. She lets him continue for a moment before she tightens her legs around his waist and pulls him in roughly, as deep as she can get him in this position. “Fuck, you’re so impatient.”
“Shut up and fuck me already.”
He grumbles at her calling her bossy, but she sighs when he draws out and slams back in with a quick snap of his hips.
“Yes just like that!”
He takes direction very well, repeating the motion until the bed starts to creak from their movements, he pistons in and out of her gone all semblance of gentle or slow, they have teetered into a speed that can only be defined as “break neck” and she feels her body sliding up the mattress as he pounds into her over and over again, she latches onto his neck eager to leave a branding mark on him and he groans at the suction, grinding harder into her and gripping her ass to force her to meet his vicious thrusts.
Absently she feels him peeling her bra from her body, the only remaining item of clothing that has survived their coupling and she knows exactly when he sees the scar. The grotesque knitting of skin that had left a permanent scar on her shoulder, she almost covers it up but when she peels her eyes open he is staring at her mesmerized.
“Don’t look.”
He leans down to kiss it, the softest more precious kiss she has ever received in her life.
He peppers more kisses all over, then strokes at it with a single finger.
“I should have realized, this was your confession. I was an idiot. I will never be that stupid again, I love you so much. I would do anything for you. Anything.”
He puts her legs on her shoulder, nearly bending her in half before resuming his thrusts but they are less frenzied now, it feels like lovemaking. Her eyes prickle when he kisses her scar with every downward thrust, whispering, “Beautiful, so beautiful. Every inch of you.”
She cries out.
With every thrust he kisses her scar, making her feel lightheaded and naked.
When he moves them into a new position, her back to his front giving him better access to her scar, she loses herself as he whispers sweet nothings into her ears and litters the spot with warm kisses.
She falls off the edge with his lips on her scar and him deep inside her, warm bursts filling her up before leaking out onto the bed sheets.
“Today’s our last day.”
Waking up next to him is torture, she tries not to ingrain that in her mind but it’s too late it’s already there. He blinks away the sleep in his eyes at her words and then nods solemnly in agreement.
“Yes for this visit. But I’ll always come back for you.”
She smiles brightly, “Don’t keep me waiting for too long.”
They don’t leave the bed except to get breakfast and that ends with her laid across the kitchen table getting taken from behind after teasing him. He can’t seem to keep his hands off her new hair, twisting the short strands in his hands and yanking on them. She catches him looking at her heatedly more than once.
Then they wind up in the shower, trying to clean up and getting dirtier instead, his hands tight in her hair and around her waist as he hoists her up to pound her into the wall. Making up for lost time.
They get messages from their entire family, Vincenzo showing her a message from Han Seo asking if he’s going to be an uncle soon. She promises to embarrass him in front of Miri very, very soon.
Both pretend they don’t feel the day fading away, bringing them closer to their goodbye.
Tomorrow he will be gone again, but there’s no guessing now. She knows what she means to him now and that’s more than enough.
She wakes up to an empty bed and a ticket to Malta, the ball is in her court.
